Abstract

Javanese classical manuscripts provide a variety of important scientific materials that can be researched. Research that examines Javanese classical manuscripts requires the ability to read characters and a goodunderstanding of Javanese language. The purpose of the study is to provide valuable research materials (data) from Javanese classical texts for interdisciplinary research. The research approach used is descriptivequalitative. The research subjects were three Javanese classical manuscripts entitled: (1) Suluk Kumandaka, (2) Serat Darma Laksita, and (3) Serat Kudhup Sari. The object of study is to analyze the text (sentences) of the manuscript which contains certain scientific values. Data were collected by reading and note-taking techniques.Subsequently, the data validated by repeated and in-depth reading. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive-qualitative, through critical translation techniques and stage, namely: text critical, language critical,and substance critical. Furthermore, the study of the substance (content) of the manuscript revealed by the method of content analysis. The three classical Javanese manuscripts studied contain: moral values, Islamicreligious values, and educational values. The results of the data analysis show that critical translation work is able to provide mature materials (data) for cross-disciplinary research. Abstract

Javanese wedding ceremonies in Yogyakarta still abundantly use aesthetic aspects in their choice of speech language. Moreover, such aesthetic diction also embodies character building values for its interlocutors. The aims of the first section of this study is to explain the people’s character that will be described comprehensively and clearly in Javanese wedding ceremonies. The second one is to express and explain which particular linguistic elements cause the speech discourse to be imbued with aesthetics of susastra Jawa (Javanese literature). Furthermore, this study also expresses the contexts and their changes that transpire in wedding ceremonies performed by the Javanese people. This study used the sosiolinguistic approach in conjunction with the discourse analysis. This study used the object and/or data of the oral stories from wedding speeches (tanggap wacana) that were gathered and documented all the while as the study was being conducted. The stories utilized as data were documented from the direct stories in wedding ceremonies performed by Javanese interlocutors in the area of Yogyakarta. The results of the data analysis are able to describe and explain several questions posed by this study. First, the spoken languages in the wedding ceremonies of the Javanese people consist of the Javanese, the Indonesian, and a mixture of languages denoted as Jawindo (Javanese-Indonesian). Second, it was successfully found that the aesthethics elements used in the wedding speech discourses consist of: tembung saroja, tembung garba, yogyaswara, keratabasa, tembung entar, paribasan, bebasan, saloka, pepindhan, pralambang, purwakanthi, panambang bunyi ha-, seselan – in-, seselan –um-, tembung kawi, and religious diction. Third, changes in the wedding speech discourses occurred due to changes of the underlying contexts. Abstract

This study aimed to describe and to know the terms and symbolic meanings of Javanese keris’ patra ornaments. The meaning is not only lexical but also cultural; meaning which is associated with the civilization prevailing in that society. This research is a descriptive study using ethnolinguistic approach. Ethnolinguistic approach is used to uncover the meaning of the term patra deder which is related to local culture. The results of this study indicated that the patra ornament of Javanese keris has certain terms in each part. The meaning contained in the patra deder of Javanese keris is related to human life. It means that religious support, behaving politely and not arrogant, respecting each other, being responsible, obeying the prevailing norms and having positive thought are substantial in human life.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru SD Negeri 9 Lhoksukon sebagai bekal dalam pelaksanaan ujian akhir sekolah berbasis komputer (UASBK) melalui pelatihan memanfaatkan media komputer. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan bagi guru-guru SD Negeri 9 Lhoksukon dalam memanfaatkan media komputer pada pelaksanaan ujian akhir sekolah berbasis komputer (UASBK). Metode yang digunakan yakni demonstrasi dan praktik langsung. Pelatihan ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam memahami konsep tentang pelaksanaan ujian akhir sekolah berbasis komputer (UASBK). Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan praktis yang meliputi konsep dasar ujian akhir sekolah berbasis komputer (UASBK), urgensi digitalisasi evaluasi pembelajaran, serta praktik pembuatan soal kedalam sistem ujian akhir sekolah berbasis komputer (UASBK) di sekolah tersebut. Kegiatan pelatihan ini diharapkan guru  menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan menggunakan media komputer pada pelaksanaan ujian akhir sekolah berbasis komputer (UASBK) bagi guru SD Negeri 9 Lhoksukon yang tercermin dari kemampuan mereka dalam menginput dan mengedit soal pada sistem ujian akhir sekolah berbasis komputer (UASBK) dan mengunduh dan menaganalisa hasil ujian siswa SD Negeri 9 Lhoksukon secara digital.

Abstract

alent identification is a process of detecting an ability systematically, scientifically and measurably. This study aims to determine the potential for talented athletes in the karate sport in children aged 7-12 years through a talent identification test. The sample of this study was 45 boys and girls aged 7-12 years in Bandung Regency. This study is a survey study. The research design used in this study is descriptive quantitative. Talent test data were obtained from 10 test items consisting of anthropometric tests including: height, weight, sitting height and arm length and physical tests including: vertical jump, tennis ball throw and catch, basketball throw, shuttle run, 40 meter sprint and multistage fitness test. To overcome different score units, the data was converted into t-score form then the average was taken then the data was categorized into 5 categories according to the applicable norm formula. The data collection technique used was testing and measurement. The data analysis technique usedwas descriptive analysis with percentage results. So the results of this study are that most of the research subjects are quite talented in the karate sport with a percentage of 40%.

Abstract

The objective of this investigation is to conduct a comprehensive review and synthesis of empirical research regarding the significance of work motivation, specifically the need for achievement, in shaping employee performance in organizational settings. A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted following the PRISMA guidelines by analyzing peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2020 and 2025 and indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. Articles were evaluated according to predetermined inclusion criteria that prioritized employee performance, motivation, and achievement. The review provides robust and consistent empirical evidence that the need for achievement has a positive and substantial impact on employee performance. In comparison to employees with lower achievement motivation, those with high achievement motivation are more likely to establish challenging objectives, exhibit a greater level of task commitment, and produce superior work results. The results reaffirm the ongoing relevance of achievement motivation theory in elucidating performance disparities across a variety of organizational settings and sectors. This study offers a focused contribution by consolidating fragmented findings into a coherent framework and providing an up-to-date synthesis of empirical evidence on the need for achievement and employee performance. It underscores the critical role of achievement-oriented motivation as a primary internal driver of performance and identifies directions for future research, particularly in examining contextual and individual-level moderators.

Abstract

This study critically examines hadiths on Fadail al-Sham (virtues of the Levant) and their relevance to the Palestine-Israel conflict, framed historically from the 1936 Arab Revolt through Gaza conflicts (2008–2024). Intertwined political, territorial, identity, and religious factors have fueled escalations, casualties, displacement, and destruction. Employing takhrij and dirasah al-asanid, alongside interdisciplinary hadith criticism and conflict resolution studies, the research assesses sanad/matn authenticity, historical interpretations, conflict dynamics, and prophetic contributions to peacebuilding. The objectives are: Evaluate hadith quality; trace interpretive evolution; analyze conflict relevance; propose sustainable resolutions. Findings reveal 18 authentic/hasan hadiths, dominated by Shami narrations with reinforcing shawahid. Thematically categorized as: Bait al-Maqdis sanctity, Divine protection of Sham, eschatology, and Muslim steadfastness. These affirm Fadail al-Sham as core mu'tabar hadith, informing religious dimensions of the conflict.

Abstract

Permasalahan kesehatan pada komunitas jemaat gereja ditandai oleh rendahnya literasi kesehatan dan belum adanya pencatatan kesehatan yang terstruktur, sehingga berpotensi menghambat deteksi dini penyakit tidak menular (PTM). Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi kesehatan jemaat melalui penerapan pencatatan kesehatan digital yang terintegrasi dengan platform nasional SATU SEHAT. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif berbasis komunitas keagamaan melalui tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan pencatatan kesehatan digital, edukasi pencegahan PTM, serta pendampingan oleh kader kesehatan gereja. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test pengetahuan serta observasi kemampuan pencatatan digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan skor pengetahuan kesehatan jemaat dan kemampuan peserta dalam melakukan pencatatan data kesehatan secara digital, dengan mayoritas peserta mampu menginput data tekanan darah dan berat badan secara mandiri. Meskipun demikian, kelompok lansia masih memerlukan pendampingan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa komunitas keagamaan merupakan media efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi kesehatan dan mendukung implementasi transformasi digital kesehatan di tingkat masyarakat.
