Abstract

We know that writing skills in literature learning are skills that cannot be considered easy. Because this skill will certainly require a person's ability to be able to express ideas, ideas, thoughts and feelings so that they can become a work of art. Even other people can understand and feel the benefits of the work. So the learning outcomes that have been achieved by a school, whether high or low or good or bad, will really depend on the learning process. In particular, what learning experiences have been experienced and learned by the student. Because after all, experience is the best teacher. The author, as a Javanese language teacher, is fully aware that there are many students and students with different characteristics. Characteristics, abilities, knowledge, understanding, and so on in an effort to practice the material presented are certainly different. The aim of this research is to find out whether the BU EMI Model can improve the Cerkak writing achievement of class IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Baureno, Bojonegoro Regency. In this way, the Javanese language teaching and learning process is more effective and provides optimal results for students. Data resulting from the practical application of learning innovation at the first meeting, students seemed reluctant to write personal experiences into a Cerkak. Most likely this is because students generally feel they are not used to writing Cerkak and therefore find it difficult. That kind of thinking needs to be dismissed by using innovative learning models. Then the author tried to use the BU EMI Model. It turned out that class IX students became more enthusiastic. This can certainly increase students' grades in learning Cerkak Writing. In the end, this can also improve student achievement in learning Cerkak Writing. Cerkak is difficult. Such thinking needs to be pushed aside by using innovative models. Then the author uses this EMI BU Model. It turned out that class IX students became more enthusiastic. This certainly can increase student scores in Writing Cerkak. In the end it can also increase student achievement in learning Cerkak Writing.

Abstract

Javanese wedding ceremonies in Yogyakarta still abundantly use aesthetic aspects in their choice of speech language. Moreover, such aesthetic diction also embodies character building values for its interlocutors. The aims of the first section of this study is to explain the people’s character that will be described comprehensively and clearly in Javanese wedding ceremonies. The second one is to express and explain which particular linguistic elements cause the speech discourse to be imbued with aesthetics of susastra Jawa (Javanese literature). Furthermore, this study also expresses the contexts and their changes that transpire in wedding ceremonies performed by the Javanese people. This study used the sosiolinguistic approach in conjunction with the discourse analysis. This study used the object and/or data of the oral stories from wedding speeches (tanggap wacana) that were gathered and documented all the while as the study was being conducted. The stories utilized as data were documented from the direct stories in wedding ceremonies performed by Javanese interlocutors in the area of Yogyakarta. The results of the data analysis are able to describe and explain several questions posed by this study. First, the spoken languages in the wedding ceremonies of the Javanese people consist of the Javanese, the Indonesian, and a mixture of languages denoted as Jawindo (Javanese-Indonesian). Second, it was successfully found that the aesthethics elements used in the wedding speech discourses consist of: tembung saroja, tembung garba, yogyaswara, keratabasa, tembung entar, paribasan, bebasan, saloka, pepindhan, pralambang, purwakanthi, panambang bunyi ha-, seselan – in-, seselan –um-, tembung kawi, and religious diction. Third, changes in the wedding speech discourses occurred due to changes of the underlying contexts. Finally, the ceremonial discourse in wedding ceremonies can shape the development of a firm mental attitude and character. Keywords: ceremonial discourse, wedding ceremony, character

Abstract

This research explores the application of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Lean Management principles to enhance project performance reporting efficiency at PT Borneo Bara, a coal mining company in South Kalimantan, Indonesia. The coal mining industry faces significant challenges in project management, particularly in maintaining accurate, timely, and standardized reporting systems that are critical for operational decision-making and regulatory compliance. The current manual reporting process at PT Borneo Bara is characterized by inefficiencies, including extended processing times, data inaccuracies, and inconsistent formatting, which collectively hinder effective project monitoring and stakeholder communication. This study employs VSM analysis to systematically identify bottlenecks and waste in the existing reporting workflow. Through comprehensive process mapping and stakeholder interviews, the research identifies key obstacles, including redundant approval processes, manual data entry errors, and lack of standardized templates. A digital reporting system with automated validation and centralized data management is proposed as a solution. Implementation results demonstrate substantial improvements: reporting cycle time decreased from 10.8 days to 5.25 days (a 51.3% reduction), process efficiency increased from 44.1% to 90.5%, and data accuracy improved from low to high levels. These findings validate the effectiveness of VSM and Lean principles in streamlining project report management processes in the mining industry, offering practical implications for operational excellence and digital transformation initiatives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the manuscripts of As-Sunan as-Sughrā and As-Sunan al-Kubrā by al-Imām al-Bayhaqī (d. 458 H), two monumental works in the treasury of Islamic hadith that represent the peak of the development of codification and systematization of hadith-based law in the 5th century H. The study focuses on philological, methodological, and epistemological aspects, including the structure of the compilation, reference sources, and the principles of sanad and matan criticism applied by al-Bayhaqi. The research method used is qualitative through library research, with an approach of classical and comparative manuscript analysis of various printed editions and available digital manuscripts. The results of the study indicate that As-Sunan al-Kubrā functions as an encyclopedia of hadith law with a comprehensive thematic systematics, while As-Sunan as-Sughrā is a concise and selective version compiled for the practical needs of fiqh. Methodologically, al-Bayhaqi presents an integration between the approaches of hadith scholars and fiqh scholars (jam‘ bayna al-madrasatayn), making his work an important bridge between the traditions of riwayah and dirayah. Manuscript analysis also reveals several textual variants and editorial differences that have implications for legal understanding in Shafi‘i fiqh literature. Thus, this study emphasizes the importance of philological studies of al-Bayhaqi’s work to strengthen understanding of the evolution of hadith epistemology and classical Islamic law.
