Abstract

Analysis of the infl uence of risk factors aims to describe the unidirectional relationship between risk factors to an incident or a spesific disease, one of which is binary logistic regression. This analysis is applied to case of TIA because TIA is a warning that stroke will occur. This study was carried out to determine risk factors that aff ect case of TIA in Dr. Soetomo Regional Public Hospital Surabaya in 2012-2015 and the best binary logistic regression model. This study was an observational and case control study. Subjects were 90 inpatients at nerve division. Data were collected by observing the patient’s card status to get information of variables examined. Independent variables were hypertension, dyslipidemia, and diabetes mellitus. Result of simultaneous test showed that at least one variable that aff ected TIA (p = 0,000). Partial test showed that hypertension (p = 0.015; OR = 4.327), dyslipidemia (p = 0.000; OR = 10.455), and diabetes mellitus (p = 0.032; OR = 3.942) aff ected TIA (p < 0.05). This independent variables have contributed as much as 49% to TIA with prediction accuracy was 67%. Model obtained was fi t (p > 0.05). Binary logistic regression can be used to analyze risk factors of TIA in Dr. Soetomo Regional Public Hospital Surabaya in 2012–2015 with high prediction accuracy. Patients with dyslipidemia have the highest risk of TIA. Hypertension or diabetes mellitus was also signifi cant risk factor of TIA.

Weight measurement to check nutritional status, it was known that there were 82.81% of obese sufferers from 70,023 people who were examined. Nutritional status was a condition caused by a balance between food intake and nutritional needs. Good nutritional status was needed if you want to achieve optimal health status.Nutritional status was very important for women of childbearing age in preparation for pregnancy, during pregnancy, childbirth and after childbirth. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to nutritional status of women of childbearing age of family planning participants at Pacarkeling Health Center Surabaya in 2017.This study was non-reactive because it used secondary data as a source of analysis. The time of this study was March to April 2018. The age factor showed a p-value of 0.013, which meant significant. The number of live children factor showed a p-value of 0.022, which meant significant. The types od contraception factor showed a p-value of 0.259, which meant not significant. Factors that affect the nutritional status of women of childbearing age of family planning participants at Pacarkeling Community Health Center in 2017 were age and number of live children. For women of childbearing age, it is hoped that it can improve its nutritional status in preparing for pregnancy, pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum so that there will be no problems in nutritional status in the future. Abstract

Forecasting is a systematic attempt to predict future events usingpast data, based on scientific and qualitative methods. For the maternal health program, forecasting is important as its process consists of planning, targetting and achievement. Based on data from the Ministry of Health, the quality of antenatal care in Indonesia was still low (87.48 percent) compared to that of the national target (95 percent). This study aims to apply the methods of artificial neural network in predicting the antenatalcare (K4). This applied research used a descriptive method with secondary data in the form of monthly antenatal care visits (K4) from the year of 2012 to2015 obtained from the Provincial Health Office of East Java, with a case study in Bondowoso. The forecasting result in 2016 based onthe 12-4-1 network architecture was 9533.5698, with the value of Mean Square Error (MSE) of 3091.84404. The average percentage of errord based on a comparison with the actual data is 0.1854 or reaching the accuracy of 99.81 percent. The conclusion of this study is that a neural network has a low error value and a high accuracy. Therefore, forecasting results can be used as an input in the planning program.

Abstract

Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) is a disease that occurs in many developing countries and also on the list of 10 most diseases in hospitals. This study aims to analyze the information system of ARI Reporting Program in Surabaya. Reporting on ARI cases is a surveillance of the disease. If many cases reported, it is better than only a few cases reported. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Based on the results of the interview with the informant, it was stated that the ARI reporting program had helped in recording ARI cases that occurred in Surabaya. File formats that are still manual and not integrated with the internet (online) make sending reports longer. Even if you implement an integrated online, data entry only needs to be done once so that the same data will be stored electronically and can be sent and processed. In addition, in the excel file ARI reporting program, there are several output menus that can be used as a result of the description of ARI cases. However, the output was underutilized so that less case monitoring was implemented to reduce the number of ARI / Pneumonia cases that occurred in Surabaya. The conclusion is the ARI reporting program is very helpful in the process of data collection of ARI cases, but it would be better if they use the type of online computerization management and better utilize the graphical output of the ARI reporting program.

Abstract

ABSTRACTHospital fires have the potential to cause fatalities and huge material losses,  there were 22 hospital fires covered by newspapers in India in 2011-2012 with 102 dead. Buildings are considered safe if all occupants building threatened by fire must be able to exit and assembly point before available safe egress time. This study aimed to analyze the effect of preconditions and unsafe acts (violations of evacuation procedures) on evacuation duration in fire disaster conditions in the inpatient building of general hospital R. Koesma Tuban. This study was an observational study, a quantitative method and cross sectional design, which were carried out in April-July 2019. Analysis of Covariance test results stated preconditions (age, sex, exercise habits, location of inpatient ward, distance traveled) affect the duration of evacuation (p <0.05) while preconditions (interaction between workers and readiness of workers) don’t affect the duration evacuation (p> 0.05). Violation of evacuation procedures has the potential to influence the duration of evacuation (p = 0.054). The conclusions this study are age, gender, exercise habits, location of the inpatient ward, and distance traveled affect the duration of the evacuation. Keywords: Duration of evacuation, preconditions, violations of evacuation procedures, hospital
