Abstract

Amaranth, a highly nutritious leaf vegetable, requires adequate nutrients, especially nitrogen fertilizers, to grow well and produce an optimal yield. Urea is commonly used to promote the growth of amaranth plants. This study examined the physiological responses of two varieties of amaranth to the application of urea fertilizer. This study examined the physiological responses of two varieties of amaranth to the application of urea fertilizer. This investigation was conducted in July - August 2023 in Sukosari Village, Jumantono, Karanganyar. The study utilized a completely randomized design (CRD) with two treatment variables. The first variable consisted of a variety of amaranth, including green (B1) and red (B2) varieties. The second variable in the study was the dosages of urea, including 0, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, and 300 kg.ha-1. The study observed no correlation between various varieties of amaranth and the dose of urea applied in terms of plant growth and physiological activities. There was no discernible impact on the growth or physiological activity of both varieties of amaranth when urea fertilizer was applied. Both varieties of amaranth showed similar physiological responses to urea fertilization. However, the effect of adding urea fertilizer was to enhance the vegetative growth of amaranth plants.

The result shows that advertising appeals (humor and informative) have a positive and significant impact on viral intention and attitude toward advertisement. Thus, the higher viral intention and the positive attitude toward advertisement will increase the possibility of purchase and the level of brand awareness. While hedonic personality was significantly proved moderates the relationship between viral intentions and brand awareness in this study. The nature of respondents in this study who mainly are at high level of hedonic personality make the moderation role of hedonic personality has no significant impact on the relationship of viral intentions on purchase intentions. Therefore, the viral factor on hedonic consumers did not seem to correlate purchase intentions.

Abstract

The enactment of Law No. 11/2020 on Job Creation has drastically changed the legal policy on land rights, for example, building use rights and use rights provide rights not only to land on the surface of the earth but are now extended to above-ground and underground spaces. Another legal issue is the term of the right which is set at once up to 50 years for building use rights and 60 years for business use rights and still has the right to extend up to 30 years for building use rights or 35 years for business use rights. This research is a normative juridical research. This research aims to analyze the impact of changes in land rights legal policy caused by the Job Creation Law, as well as examine solutions that can be applied to solve the problem of agrarian law anomalies in Indonesia. As an implication, Indonesia currently has two laws that both regulate land rights, namely the Basic Agrarian Law and the Job Creation Law. This makes Indonesia's agrarian law an anomaly. The best solution to resolve this anomaly in land rights law is to not continue legal remaking Law Number 11 of 2020 or to reinterpret the norms.

Abstract

Background: One of the obstacles in preventing and dealing with HIV/AIDS is the emergence of discriminatory behavior from the community towards sufferers. This discriminatory behavior causes unreasonable and unfair actions towards HIV/AIDS sufferers. Purpose: To determine the factors associated with discriminatory behavior towards HIV/AIDS sufferers. Method: Cross-sectional research design using data from the 2017 Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey with Chi Square bivariate data analysis and multivariate analysis using logistic regression. The sample used in this study was 10.006 respondents. The independent variables in this study were age, gender, education level, place of residence, wealth index, employment status, exposure to information media, and level of knowledge. Results: Approximately 78.3% of respondents have discriminatory behavior towards HIV/AIDS sufferers. Factors related to discriminatory behavior towards HIV/AIDS sufferers are education level, place of residence, wealth index, employment status, exposure to information media, and level of knowledge. Logistic regression test showed that respondents with good knowledge about HIV (OR= 1.651.378; 95% CI= 939.611-2.902.318), exposure to information media (OR= 723.320; 95% CI= 397.847-1.315.057), and low education level (OR= 3.534; 95% CI= 1.316-9.486) are more at risk of discriminatory behavior than others. Conclusion: Discriminatory behavior towards HIV/AIDS sufferers is still high. This condition is influenced by several factors including place of residence, wealth index, and employment status. The most dominant variables influencing discriminatory behavior towards HIV/AIDS sufferers are education level, exposure to information media, and knowledge level. Meanwhile, there is no significant relationship between age and gender. Suggestion: Health workers should always actively approach the community by increasing counseling and socialization activities regarding HIV/AIDS so that the community gets correct and clear information about HIV/AIDS, so that it can reduce the stigma and discrimination that occurs towards HIV/AIDS sufferers.   Keywords: Discriminatory Behavior; HIV/AIDS; People with HIV/AIDS.
