Abstract

Human trafficking is a serious and growing crime, including in Cambodia, which has become one of the countries vulnerable to this practice. This study aims to analyze the handling of human trafficking crimes in Cambodia from an international law perspective. Cambodia plays a significant role in the context of human trafficking due to its geographic location and socio-economic conditions, which influence the rate of human trafficking, whether for sexual exploitation, forced labor, or organ trafficking. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach from various sources, including international conventions, reports from international organizations, and Cambodia's national regulations. The findings show that although Cambodia has adopted several laws to combat human trafficking, the implementation of these policies is often hindered by limited resources, corruption, and lack of cooperation between countries. Additionally, despite efforts from the international community, such as the Palermo Protocol, challenges in consistently applying the law remain a significant barrier. The study also finds that stricter law enforcement and better rehabilitation systems for victims are necessary to improve the situation. Therefore, further collaboration between the Cambodian government, international organizations, and non-governmental organizations is needed to comprehensively address this issue.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the role of the Uswatun Hasanah Mosque Zakat Institution in improving the welfare of mustahiq in Pekon Pahayu Jaya, West Lampung Regency. Methodology: The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Findings: The results show that this institution runs three main programs, namely disaster relief, education, and social assistance, which have a direct impact on the lives of mustahiq. Although still limited in terms of reach, this institution has contributed to improving the economic conditions of the poor. However, zakat management still faces cultural challenges, namely the tendency of muzakki to distribute zakat directly without going through institutions. This study recommends the need for public education and increased institutional transparency to strengthen public trust in zakat institutions. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening mosque-based zakat institutions in supporting community empowerment at the local level.

Abstract

The phenomenon of moral, character and moral decline in adolescents is one of the problems in society as one of the negative impacts of the entry of the era of globalization and modernization. Therefore, in the current era of globalization, teenagers should have a strong faith, in order to avoid acts that deviate from the teachings of Islam. Within the scope of education, literary works can act as a means of learning so that benefits and lessons can be taken in life. Through literary works, the author can share the values of faith with teenagers without having to patronize, besides that the content in the book can become an exemplary preaching for teenagers. The aims of this study were: (1) To find out the values of the faith contained in the book Ya Allah Aku Pulang by Alfialghazi (2) To find out the relevance of the values of the faith in the book Ya Allah Aku Pulang by Alfialghazi to the character education of youth. This research is a library research using qualitative research methods. This research is descriptive with content analysis (Content Analysis). The results of this study indicate that: First, the values of the Aqidah contained in the book Ya Allah I'm Going Home include: Faith in Allah, Faith in Angels, Faith in Allah's Books, Faith in the Messenger of Allah, Faith in the Last Day, and Faith in Qadha' and Qadar. Second, the results of this study also found 2 methods contained in the book Ya Allah I'm Home which includes: (1) Exemplary Method (2) Habituation Method.

Abstract

Penurunan moral menjadi permasalahan yang semakin marak terjadi akibat kurangnya pembinaan tingkah laku pada anak usia sekolah dasar. Perkembangan moral anak sekolah dasar dalam perspektif teori Lawrence Kohlberg menjelaskan cara anak membentuk pemahamannya terhadap nilai moral. Pada tahap pra konvensional, anak-anak patuh pada aturan karena ingin mendapatkan penghargaan dan takut pada hukuman. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui implementasi reward dan punishment teori Lawrence Kohlberg pada perkembangan moral anak sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan literature review mencari dari google scholar berdasarkan kata kunci “perkembangan moral anak, Lawrence Kohlberg, reward punishment” dan rentang 2019 sampai 2024 menggunakan Publish or Perish dengan hasil 33 artikel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi reward dan punishment efektif dalam membentuk moral anak sekolah dasar. Anak yang diberi reward menunjukkan perilaku positif. Sebaliknya, punishment yang diberi dengan tepat mengurangi perilaku negatif. Kedua pendekatan ini membantu anak memahami konsekuensi dari tindakan yang dilakukan dalam perkembangan moral teori Lawrence Kohlberg.

Abstract

This service focuses on the development of one of the Natural Resources (SDA) communities in Mekarsari Village, Narmada District, namely the banana chip business which is considered to have not maximized its utilization and development. The Mekarsari community's banana chip business has not yet developed because the marketing and taste variations of the business are less varied so that consumer appeal is very minimal. Therefore, this community service seeks to develop the banana chip business by conducting community service based on the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. ABCD is an approach to community service by seeing and knowing the strengths and weaknesses of existing businesses in an area to create an empowered and thriving community. This service begins with observing the location first to find out the data and what businesses need to be developed by conducting interviews with the Mekarsari village community. The results of this service show that the new flavor variations such as chocolate, vanilla and oreo have a higher selling value than the previous banana chip flavor variations. This study recommends that future researchers carry out further dedication to the development of banana chip business marketing.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the selling value of food commodities and the selling value of livestock commodities in Langkat Regency. And what strategies are used to get high selling value. This research uses qualitative methods and a descriptive approach. This research shows that first, the selling value of food is not yet in line with farmers' current expectations, with fertilizer prices being expensive and limited, but the selling value is still unstable. Meanwhile, the selling value of livestock in the district is still said to be quite stable.

Abstract

Mudahnya syarat permohonan pailit di Indonesia membuat kreditur maupun debitur beritikad tidak baik mudah mengajukan permohonan pailit. Selain itu, definisi pailit dan batas minimum jumlah utang belumlah jelas. Sampai saat ini, belum ada mekanisme untuk membuktikan ketidaksanggupan debitur dalam melunasi utangnya. Masalah ini berimplikasi pada mudahnya bangkrut secara hukum bagi debitur bahkan jika debitur tersebut masih solven dan beritikad baik. Hal inilah yang menjadikan kesehatan keuangan, jumlah aset, dan itikad baik debitur perlu dipertimbangkan melalui mekanisme Insolvency Test agar tidak merugikan debitur yang masih solven serta beritikad baik. Problematika yang dianalisis yaitu perlindungan hukum bagi debitur yang masih solven dan beritikad baik yang belum terakomodir secara maksimal. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yakni hukum normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan dan pendekatan konseptual. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dengan bahan hukum primer, sekunder, dan tersier. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perlu dilakukan revisi atau pembaharuan pada Undang-Undang No. 37 Tahun 2004 tentang Kepailitan dan PKPU (UU KPKPU) dengan memasukkan metode Insolvency Test sebagai upaya pembuktian atas kesehatan keuangan dan itikad baik debitur. Hal tersebut memiliki urgensi untuk mewujudkan progresivitas, keadilan, serta kepastian hukum bagi para pihak khususnya bagi debitur, agar debitur solven dan beritikad baik dapat terselamatkan dari penjatuhan pailit.

Abstract

The research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the factors of students' initial reading and numeracy difficulties at Gedongkiwo State Elementary School. Research subjects are determined by purposive sampling, namely by deliberately selecting subjects by researchers according to certain objectives and criteria. The subjects used in the research were teachers and class II students. Data collection in this research used descriptive qualitative research. The techniques and instruments used for data collection used interviews, observation and documentation. This journal tries to describe the analysis of the factors of students' initial reading and numeracy difficulties at Gedongkiwo State Elementary School. The results of this research showed that there were several elementary school students who could not read and count, some could read fluently, but there were still students who had to spell letters in syllables. Of the 37 students, there are 8 students who still experience difficulties in reading and arithmetic, because they still cannot remember letters and still need guidance from the teacher. The types of reading difficulties are, students do not know letters, students have difficulty spelling letters, syllables, have not memorized letters, cannot read syllables into words, and have difficulty distinguishing letters that have almost the same shape. Then the types of difficulties in counting are, difficulty saying numbers, difficulty calculating addition and subtraction, difficulty calculating with large numbers, and not understanding the meaning of counting.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of Bank Indonesia's interest rate policy on customer savings decisions regarding choosing savings products in conventional banks, as well as its effect on the liquidity of these banks. The research utilizes a literature review method with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results and discussion indicate that the offered interest rates by conventional banks significantly influence customer behavior in selecting savings products. Changes in interest rates can affect customers' inclination to save in banks and consequently impact the liquidity of conventional banks. Other factors that influence customer decisions include product promotions, service quality, and customer preferences. While changes in Bank Indonesia's interest rate policy can affect customer loyalty to banks, customer preferences in choosing savings products are also influenced by other non-interest rate-related factors. This study provides an in-depth understanding of the impact of interest rate changes on the liquidity of conventional banks, offering valuable insights for Bank Indonesia and conventional banks in formulating effective policies to maintain financial sector stability and foster sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the permissibility of hitting children who do not pray and a nuzyus wife in Islamic law and to find out that violence against children and women in the household is associated with the values ​​contained in Pancasila. The results showed that although hitting children who do not pray and wives who are nuzyus in Islam is permissible, the Prophet SAW taught to treat children and wives with respect, compassion, and gentleness. Not by hitting arbitrarily when the wife and children make mistakes. Because in Islam, if you are going to hit you must pay attention to the conditions for hitting in Islam, it cannot be done arbitrarily. Domestic violence which is increasingly cruel day by day does not at all reflect the human values ​​contained in Pancasila, Some Indonesian people no longer understand the philosophical values ​​that should be a guide in social life and also guidelines for behavior, so that domestic violence that often occurs today does not reflect the real Indonesian people according to the ideals of the ancestors.
