Abstract

Alumni commitment acts as a critical component in strengthening the future of higher education, especially within entrepreneurial learning ecosystems. However, limited research has explored alumni commitment through the lens of experience value and alumni satisfaction, particularly in Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs with strong technopreneurship and edupreneurial components. This study investigates how experience value and satisfaction influence MBA alumni commitment at a prominent Indonesian business school. Using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and Importance-Performance Map Analysis (IPMA), the findings reveal that experience value especially utilitarian dimensions embedded in edupreneurial and technopreneurial learning plays a dominant role. Managerially, MBA programs can enhance alumni commitment by integrating executive mentoring, immersive leadership tasks, strategic consulting with real-world firms, and international residencies. These results highlight that entrepreneurial educational experiences, when perceived as valuable and actionable, significantly foster long-term alumni engagement.

Abstract

The global demand for organic products reflects increasing awareness of sustainability in consumer behavior, especially in emerging markets such as Indonesia. Despite this growing trend, limited studies have applied data science approaches to model behavioral relationships within sustainability marketing. This study aims to examine how Sustainable Marketing (SM) influences Prosumption Motivation (PM) and Consciousness for Sustainable Consumption (CSC) among Indonesian organic product consumers. Using a quantitative design, data were collected through purposive sampling, yielding 400 valid responses from participants across Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Bali. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS was employed as a data science tool to estimate latent constructs and test predictive relationships. The results show that SM has a significant positive effect on PM (β = 0.923, CR = 19.347, p 0.001) and CSC (β = 0.991, CR = 21.764, p 0.001), while PM also significantly influences CSC (β = 0.742, CR = 19.306, p 0.001) and SM indirectly enhances CSC through PM (β = 0.652, CR = 19.306, p 0.001). These findings confirm all hypotheses and reveal a reciprocal relationship between motivation and consciousness, emphasizing a behavioral feedback loop that strengthens sustainable consumption. The study contributes to sustainability marketing by integrating SM, PM, and CSC into a unified predictive framework. Methodologically, it demonstrates how SEM serves as an applied data science technique capable of transforming behavioral data into actionable insights. The novelty lies in bridging behavioral science and data science to provide decision-support evidence for marketers and policymakers promoting prosumption and responsible consumption in emerging economies.

Abstract

The rise of e-commerce in Indonesia has significantly altered consumer behavior, particularly in post-purchase experiences. Despite increased convenience, online transactions often result in dissatisfaction due to service failures or product mismatches, prompting varying complaint behaviors. This study investigates the impact of Perceived Product Quality, Perceived Value, and Personality on dissatisfaction levels in e-commerce, and explores how complaint type (Voicer, Irate, Passive) moderates these relationships. A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 218 e-commerce consumers who had made purchases and submitted complaints, and data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) and Multi-Group Analysis (MGA). Findings show that Perceived Value emerged as the most significant and consistent predictor of dissatisfaction across all complaint types, while Perceived Product Quality and Personality showed no significant direct effect; however, Irates exhibited higher sensitivity to product quality failures. Complaint type moderated the strength of relationships, highlighting behavioral differences in consumer responses. In conclusion, consumer dissatisfaction in e-commerce is driven primarily by perceived value rather than product quality, and complaint behavior types influence how dissatisfaction is expressed but not necessarily how it is formed. The research implies that e-commerce businesses should enhance post-purchase services such as delivery, customer support, and refund systems, while tailoring complaint resolution strategies based on consumer types to reduce dissatisfaction and improve retention.

Abstract

In the competitive dental healthcare market of Balikpapan, Indonesia, retaining customers is a critical challenge due to rising competition and increasing awareness of oral health, with 56.9% of the population experiencing dental issues and 80.7% seeking professional care. The research aimed to investigate the determinants of repurchase intention in dental clinic services, focusing on customer expectation, customer experience, service quality, service personalization, and alternative attractiveness, with customer regret as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 255 dental clinic customers in Balikpapan via an online questionnaire, selected through purposive sampling. Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) analysis was employed to test the relationships. Results show that customer expectation, customer experience, service quality, and service personalization significantly reduce customer regret, which, in turn, positively influences repurchase intention. Conversely, alternative attractiveness increases regret, negatively impacting repurchase intention. Customer regret significantly mediates these relationships, highlighting its critical role in shaping customer loyalty. The findings contribute to regret theory by demonstrating its application in dental healthcare and offer practical strategies for clinics to enhance loyalty. These strategies include improving service quality, leveraging technology for personalization, managing expectations effectively, and countering alternative attractiveness through unique value propositions. The research provides actionable insights for dental clinics in Balikpapan to foster customer retention in a competitive market.

Abstract

Coffee is one of Indonesia’s strategic plantation commodities with high economic value and a significant role in supporting the national economy. This study aims to formulate a business development strategy for the coffee commodity at the Mandalagiri Coffee Producers Cooperative, located in Garut Regency, West Java. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method and strategic analysis, with data analyzed using the Business Model Canvas (BMC), SWOT, Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE), External Factor Evaluation (EFE), Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM), and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). The SWOT analysis based on the BMC indicates that Mandalagiri Cooperative possesses strengths in product quality and customer loyalty but remains weak in diversification and digitalization, presenting significant opportunities in niche markets while facing challenges from digital competitors. The IFE score (2.80) and EFE score (3.13) suggest the cooperative is in a strategic position to grow through product development and market expansion. Priority strategies include B2B/B2C expansion, brand strengthening, derivative product development, and the formation of a digital marketing team. These strategies were validated using the SAW method and formulated into a new business model emphasizing digital distribution, customer education, and brand image enhancement. Therefore, business development strategies can be implemented through strengthening distribution channels, improving customer relationships, and undergoing digital transformation toward a more adaptive and sustainable business model.

Abstract

This study integrates the Information Adoption Model (IAM) and Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) to predict the intention to register for  BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in the Non-Wage Earner (BPU) segment. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire survey of 250 respondents working in the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sectors who were not yet registered with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Sampit Branch but followed  BPJS Ketenagakerjaan social media. Data analysis employed Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS 3 software. The analysis results indicate that information quantity and information credibility significantly influence information usefulness, while information quality does not have a significant effect. Information usefulness significantly influences information adoption, which in turn affects purchase intention. The TPB variables—attitude toward behavior, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control—all significantly influence purchase intention. Furthermore, information adoption mediates the relationship between information usefulness and purchase intention. These findings suggest that improving the quantity and credibility of information, along with strengthening positive attitudes, social support, and perceived ease of registration, can enhance information adoption and registration intention for  BPJS Ketenagakerjaan among the BPU segment. The study contributes to the theoretical integration of IAM and TPB in the context of social security services for informal workers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of service recovery performance (SRP) on word of mouth (WOM) with perceived justice (PJ) and complaint handling satisfaction (CHS) as mediating variables. The research employs an explanatory quantitative approach, involving participants who had previously submitted complaints through the comment section of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan’s official Instagram account. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using structural equation modeling with partial least squares. The results show that SRP has a significant effect on PJ, CHS, and WOM. The strongest effect occurs in the relationship between SRP and PJ, indicating that fast responses, clear explanations, and empathetic interactions enhance participants’ perceived justice. SRP also increases CHS. CHS shows a direct but weak effect on WOM, indicating that cognitive satisfaction alone may not be sufficient to encourage participants to recommend the service. The mediation analysis reveals that PJ significantly mediates the relationship between SRP and WOM, while CHS does not serve as a direct mediator. These findings emphasize that emotional and procedural fairness plays a more decisive role in generating positive WOM than satisfaction with the complaint-handling process itself. Thus, perceived justice emerges as a key psychological factor influencing participants’ communication behavior. This study provides important implications for BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, highlighting the need to strengthen digital complaint-handling performance by improving response speed, clarity of information, empathetic communication, and procedural consistency. These efforts are essential to building perceived justice, enhancing participant trust, and fostering positive WOM in digital environments.
