Abstract

Ilmu sosial di negara berkembang (salah satunya Indonesia) masih mengguna-kan paradigma ilmu sosial di Barat (Eropa) sehingga dalam beberapa kasus menjadi tidak relevan ketika digunakan untuk memecahkan masalah sosial. Penelitian menggunakan metode kajian pustaka yaitu sebuah pencarian kebenaran secara otoritatif melalui pendapat dan kajian ahli yang dituliskan dalam buku dan referensi. Hasil kajian menemukan bahwa perkembangan ilmu sosial di Indonesia memang tidak dapat dilepaskan dari dunia Barat. Pribumisasi merupakan wacana untuk menumbuhkan pemikiran baru dalam ilmu-ilmu sosial di Indonesia agar lebih kontekstual. Beberapa tokoh menawarkan teori sosial alternatif yang mengkedepankan pribumisasi ilmu sosial yaitu: Kuntowoyo, Sartono Kartodirjo, Mubyarto, Purwa Santoso, dan Zamroni. Upaya pribumisasi harus ditindaklanjuti dengan mengajarkan ilmu sosial alternatif dalam berbagai jenjang pendidikan. Pembaruan IPS Terpadu dengan pembelajaran alternatif menjadi upaya yang efektif untuk membumikan ilmu sosial yang khas Indonesia.INDIGENIZATION OF SOCIAL SCIENCES AND RENEWING OF INTEGRATED SOCIAL SCIENCES LEARNING Social science in developing countries (one of which is Indonesia) still uses the social science paradigm in the West (Europe) so that in some cases it becomes irrelevant when it is used to solve social problems. The research used the literature review method, which is an authoritative search for truth through expert opinions and studies written in books and references. The results of the study found that the development of social science in Indonesia cannot be separated from the Western world. Privatization is a discourse to foster new thinking in the social sciences in Indonesia to make it more contextual. Several figures offered alternative social theories that prioritized the indigenization of social science, namely: Kuntowoyo, Sartono Kartodirjo, Mubyarto, Purwa Santoso, and Zamroni. Indigenousization efforts must be followed up by teaching alternative social sciences at various levels of education. Integrated IPS reform with alternative learning is an effective effort to ground social science that is unique to Indonesia.

Abstract

Tingkat pendidikan orang tua yang baik mampu membimbing dan mengarahkan puteranya dalam mengikuti kegiatan belajar di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui (1) hubungan tingkat pendidikan ibu dengan prestasi belajar IPS peserta didik SMP di Kota Mungkid, Magelang; (2) hubungan antara kedisiplinan belajar dengan prestasi belajar IPS; (3) hubungan tingkat pendidikan ibu dan kedisiplinan belajar terhadap prestasi belajar IPS. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif jenis korelasional. Sampel penelitian siswa kelas VII dan VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kota Mungkid sebanyak 182 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara tingkat pendidikan ibu dengan prestasi belajar IPS (rhitung:  0,458 > rtabel: 0,148); (2) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara disiplin belajar siswa dengan prestasi belajar IPS (rhitung: 0,383 > rtabel: 0,148); (3) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan secara bersama-sama tingakat pendidikan ibu dan disiplin belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar IPS (Fhitung: 24,796 > Ftabel: 3,05).The relationship between the level of maternal education and learning discipline on the social studies learning achievement of junior high school students in Mungkid City, Magelang RegencyA good level of parental education proficient able to guide and control their sons in participating in learning activities at school. This research aims to determine (1) the relationship between the level of maternal education and the social studies learning achievement of junior high school students in Mungkid City, Magelang; (2) the relationship between learning discipline and social studies learning achievement; (3) the relationship between mother's education level and learning discipline on social studies learning achievement. This research uses correlational quantitative research methods. The sample of the research was 182 grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Mungkid City. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study indicate that: (1) there is a positive and significant relationship between maternal education level and social studies learning achievement (rcount: 0.458> rtable: 0.148); (2) there is a positive and significant relationship between student learning discipline and social studies learning achievement (rcount: 0.383> rtable: 0.148); (3) there is a positive and significant relationship together with the level of maternal education and student learning discipline on social studies learning achievement (Fcount: 24.796> Ftable: 3.05).

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) persepsi kepala sekolah, ustadz, guru, dan pengasuh tentang pendidikan karakter; 2) implementasi pendidikan karakter di SMP Negeri 2 Klaten dan MTs. Wahid Hasyim; 3) kebijakan sekolah dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter di SMP Negeri 2 Klaten dan MTs. Wahid Hasyim; 4) peran serta warga sekolah dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter di SMP Negeri 2 Klaten dan MTs. Wahid Hasyim. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dipergunakan yaitu: wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis intraktif model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi kegiatan: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) kepala sekolah, guru, ustadz mempunyai persepsi yang memadai tentang pendidikan karakter. 2) implementasi pendidikan karakter di MTs. Wahid Hasyim mengacu pada nilai-nilai religious dengan mengintegrasikan inkulkasi nilai dalam seluruh aktivitas santri baik di dalam pembelajaran, ekstra kurikuler, kegiatan belajar, mengaji, makan, istirahat, dan lainlain; 3) program pendidikan karakter telah dirancang oleh wakil kepala bidang kurikulum dan pengajaran, sedangkan di MTs. Wahid Hasyim dirancang oleh kepala madrasah.; 4) peran serta warga sekolah baik guru/ustadz, pembimbing, karyawan, dan masyarakat sekitar mempunyai peran yang signifikan.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi sekolah siaga kependudukan di Kabupaten Pemalang, Jawa Tengah. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian naturalistik di Sekolah Menengah Atas yang telah melaksanakan program Sekolah Siaga Kependudukan (SSK) di Kabupaten Pemalang. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah wakil kepala sekolah, ketua pelaksana program SSK, guru mata pelajaran, dan 249 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan: wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi; dan 4) angket. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data interaktif Miles & Huberman yang terdiri dari 1) pengumpulan data; 2) reduksi data; 3) penyajian data; dan 4) penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: 1) SMA Negeri 1 dan SMA Negeri 3 Pemalang dianggap sebagai salah satu sekolah yang representatif untuk melaksanakan program tersebut. Sarana prasarana berupa pojok kependudukan sebagai salah satu identitas sekolah siaga kependuduka (SSK); 2) Latar belakang SSK SMA Negeri 3 Pemalang adanya kesadaran dari sekolah untuk membekali peserta didiknya tentang kependudukan karena sekolah berada di tengah padatnya penduduk. SSK juga sejalan dengan visi yang dimiliki sekolah. Sekolah telah menyediakan sarana prasarana yang baik berupa pojok kependudukan yang menjadi identitas dan pusat kegaitan SSK. SSK diintegrasikan dalam beberapa mata pelajaran yang sudah ada melalui RPP. Selain itu SSK juga diintegrasikan dalam kegaiatan ekstrakurikuler dan kegiatan lain. Kendala yang dihadapi SMA Negeri 3 Pemalang yaitu gedung sekolah yang berada di tengah bangunan-bangunan lain sehingga sangat sulit untuk leluasa mengembangkan ruang untuk peserta didik, tidak adanya dana atau anggaran khusus dalam menjalankan program sekolah siaga kependudukan, serta belum adanya pedoman dan penilaian untuk mengukur pengetahuan peserta didik.The implementation of the population alert school program in Pemalang, Central JavaThe research aims to determine the implementation of population alert schools in Pemalang Regency, Central Java. The research uses naturalistic research methods in high schools that have implemented the Population Alert School (SSK) program in Pemalang Regency. The research subjects consisted of the principal, deputy principal, chief executive of the SSK program, subject teachers, and 249 students. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation, and documentation; and 4) questionnaires. Data analysis uses Miles & Huberman's interactive data analysis technique which consists of 1) data collection; 2) data reduction; 3) data presentation; and 4) drawing conclusions. Data validity using triangulation techniques. The research results are as follows: 1) SMA Negeri 1 and SMA Negeri 3 Pemalang are considered as one of the representative schools to implement the program. Infrastructure in the form of a population corner as one of the identities of a population alert school (SSK); 2) The background of SSK SMA Negeri 3 Pemalang is that there is awareness from the school to equip its students about population because the school is in the middle of a dense population. SSK is also in line with the school's vision. The school has provided good infrastructure in the form of a population corner which is the identity and center of SSK activities. SSK is integrated into several existing subjects through lesson plans. SSK is also integrated into extracurricular activities and other activities. The obstacles faced by SMA Negeri 3 Pemalang are that the school building is located in the middle of other buildings so it is very difficult to freely develop space for students, there is no special funding or budget for running the population alert school program, and there are no guidelines and assessments to measure students' knowledge.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the implementation and associated challenges of character education in Al-Mukmin Islamic Boarding School, with a specific focus on its integration into the curriculum. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative methodology, the research involved a thorough examination of educational practices, guided by data collected through document analysis, observations, and semi-structured interviews with teachers and students. The data analysis, conducted through thematic analysis, shed light on how character education is structured and the myriad challenges that emerge in its execution. Key findings reveal that while Al-Mukmin Islamic Boarding School adopts a comprehensive approach to character education, encompassing learning, habituation, and practice, it concurrently grapples with significant hurdles. These include the scarcity of qualified educators proficient in both academic and moral teachings, the need to balance academic rigor with moral values, cultural influences affecting educational practices, and the complexities of engaging students and assessing moral development effectively. These insights not only highlight the intricacies of embedding character education in Islamic boarding schools but also underscore the necessity for tailored strategies to surmount these challenges, thereby contributing valuable perspectives to the field of educational research.

Abstract

This article examines the use of ethnomathematics in Kalimantan batik in learning geometry in elementary schools. The purpose of this paper is to explore mathematical concepts contained in the Kalimantan batik motifs that can be utilized in the process of learning geometry in elementary schools. This research uses exploratory research and an ethnographic approach. The research data were obtained from literature studies, observations, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the study this study obtained 6 types of Kalimantan batik motifs, namely Tidayu batik motif (West Kalimantan), spot yarn motif (Central Kalimantan), Empiek Batik motif (East Kalimantan), clouded motif batik motif (West Kalimantan), Sasirangan batik motif Hiris Pudak (South Kalimantan), Pating Muang batik motif (Central Kalimantan). Geometry concepts for elementary school children in Kalimantan batik motifs are rectangles, circles, triangles, points, lines, minimum and maximum curves, reflection, translation, and fraction numbers. The alternative steps of learning are as follows: (1). Students and teachers carry out learning with the question and answer methods related to Kalimantan batik motifs; (2). Students are asked to observe the Kalimantan batik motif; (3). Students are asked to analyze the shapes contained in the Kalimantan batik motif; (4) Students are asked to present their work.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence regarding the factors that influence MSME interest in transacting in e-commerce. This research was conducted in Lampung province which consists of 13 districts and 2 municipalities with analysis of MSME that have used e-commerce as a place to sell, where the sample in this study was 400 respondents. The sampling technique used was nonprobability sampling. The data analysis method used is a quantitative method using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) model. The results of this research show that perceived usefulness, perceived ease to use, social perception do not influence MSMEs’ interest in transacting in e-commerce. Meanwhile, perceived trust, perceived enjoyment and perceived profits have a positive and significant effect on MSME interest in transacting in e-commerce

Abstract

Low budget absorption is a common problem or can be said to be a classic problem in Indonesia because it continues to occur every year. The very large village funds have begun to be a concern for the government, especially regarding the readiness of villages to manage the allocated village funds. This study aims to determine the effect of village apparatus competence, community participation, and internal control systems on village government performance. The population and sample in this study were the village secretary, village treasurer, village representative body, and community representatives. The data collection technique used was through a questionnaire. The instrument was tested using validity tests, reliability tests, and normality tests. The results of this study show that village apparatus competence affects village government performance while community participation and internal control systems do not affect village government performance.

Abstract

The research aims to evaluate the implementation of the gender-responsive school program in Yogyakarta. It is a descriptive evaluation using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model involving the principal, head of the gender-responsive school program, teachers, employees, and students as the subjects. Data were collected by (1) interviews with principals, teachers, heads of gender-responsive school programs, and students; (2) a study of documentation of various educational activities related to the program. Data were analyzed using a qualitative data analysis model by Miles and Huberman consisting of (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data display, and (4) data verification/conclusion. The research results can be seen from four aspects: (1) the context in implementing gender-responsive school programs refers to various references, including Presidential Instruction No. 9 of 2000, Regulation of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 8 of 2008. (2) The inputs for implementing the gender-responsive school program have met the requirements in terms of human resources (teachers and education staff) and the facilities and infrastructure. Most of the teachers already have adequate knowledge about the program's implementation. An integrated team in school management has planned the facilities and infrastructure. (3) Implementing gender-responsive schools is carried out well by developing school culture and organizing activities inside and outside learning. (4) The product of the gender-responsive school program is the formation of conducive school culture, facilities, and infrastructure that ensure the privacy of both male and female students.

Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan masalah kesehatan utama di Dusun 3, Desa Tambaksogra, di mana banyak lansia enggan mengonsumsi obat kimia secara terus-menerus karena biaya dan kekhawatiran akan efek sampingnya. Sebagai alternatif, digunakan bunga telang yang mengandung senyawa flavonoid dan antosianin yang berkhasiat sebagai antioksidan dan antihipertensi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kader Srikandi mengenai pengendalian hipertensi melalui pemanfaatan herbal DALANG (Wedang Telang). Kegiatan ini meliputi sosialisasi tentang manfaat bunga telang, demonstrasi pembuatan Wedang Telang, serta evaluasi pemahaman peserta melalui pretest dan postest. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama empat bulan, dari April hingga Agustus 2024, di Dusun 3 Kalisogra, Desa Tambaksogra, Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas. Peserta kegiatan adalah kader Srikandi dan lansia, dengan jumlah total mencapai 40 orang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta mengenai manfaat bunga telang untuk mengendalikan hipertensi, dengan rata-rata peningkatan pemahaman sebesar 22,25%  (peningkatan skor dari 70.25 menjadi 92.5). Peserta antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan dan mulai memahami potensi ekonomis dari bunga telang selain manfaat kesehatannya. Produk Wedang Telang yang dihasilkan mengombinasikan bunga telang dengan jahe dan serai, yang terbukti lebih disukai karena aroma dan rasanya. Produk ini diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif pengobatan yang efektif dan ekonomis bagi masyarakat Dusun Kalisogra, khususnya para lansia penderita hipertensi. Dukungan dari pemerintah setempat sangat diperlukan untuk mendukung keberlanjutan dan perluasan manfaat dari produk ini, serta untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat setempat melalui budidaya dan pengolahan bunga telang.
