Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the William Flexion exercise method in reducing pain levels. The research method used in this study is quantitative, namely experimental research. The results in this study showed that the T value was 7.819 with the T table was 1.714, meaning that the T count > T table, meaning that using the William Flexion training method can reduce the level of ischialgia pain. This is because the movements in the William Flexion training method, such as sit-ups and flexion movements, are appropriate for people who suffer from pain. In conclusion, giving William flexion exercise is effectively applied to ischialgia patients. Keywords: Ischialgia, William Flexion Exercise, Pain

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine 1) the condition of Peak Height Velocity in La Sagne Groupement athletes and Tugumuda Semarang U9-U11 athletes, 2) is there an effect of frequency and duration on Peak Height Velocity, 3) is there a difference in Peak Height Velocity between Swiss and Indonesia clubs. The research used a quantitative descriptive research type with a comparative research design. The results showed that 1) Peak Height Velocity conditions for La Sagne Groupement FC athletes were 16.3 ± 1.3 (Mean ± SD) and Peak Height Velocity conditions for SSB Tugumuda were 14.0 ± 0.5 (Mean ± SD). 2) There is an effect of frequency and duration on Peak Height Velocity with the results of multiple regression analysis for frequency and duration. 3) There is a difference in PHV between the La Sagne de Groupement and SSB Tugumuda groups. The conclusion from this research there are differences PHV condition, there is an effect of duration and frequency of training on the PHV, and there are differences PHV value between La Sagne Groupement and SSB Tugumuda football clubs.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the effectiveness of scientific literacy-based e-comic media in improving students' learning outcomes related to the topic of single substances and mixtures. A quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest approach was employed, where the same group of 25 students from class VA at SDN Sampangan 02 and class VB at SD Lab School UNNES were tested before and after using the e-comic media. The e-comic was designed to engage students and enhance their understanding of scientific concepts through interactive narratives and visual illustrations.The study found that the use of e-comic media significantly improved students' learning outcomes, as indicated by the results of a paired t-test (t = 9.766, p < 0.05) and N-gain analysis, which showed a medium level of improvement (N-gain = 0.584). Teacher and student responses were overwhelmingly positive, with 93% and 95% satisfaction rates, respectively. This suggests that e-comic media is an effective tool for improving students' scientific literacy and understanding of the material. The findings support the use of digital media in science education, particularly for engaging students in complex scientific concepts.

Abstract

Abstract: In the era of globalization, local wisdom values are increasingly marginalized, especially among elementary school students who are exposed to foreign cultures through technology and social media. This study aims to determine the impact of globalization on students' awareness of local wisdom and the importance of integrating local cultural values in character education. Using the literature review method, it was found that globalization has reduced students' awareness of local values such as gotong royong, integrity, and responsibility, which are now replaced by individualistic lifestyles. The research findings show that although local wisdom has an important role in character development, it has not been optimized in the primary school curriculum. To overcome this challenge, integrated strategies and cooperation between teachers, schools and communities are needed.Abstrak: Di era globalisasi, nilai-nilai kearifan lokal semakin terpinggirkan, terutama di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar yang terpapar budaya asing melalui teknologi dan media sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak globalisasi terhadap kesadaran siswa akan kearifan lokal dan pentingnya mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai budaya lokal dalam pendidikan karakter. Dengan menggunakan metode tinjauan literatur, ditemukan bahwa globalisasi telah mengurangi kesadaran siswa akan nilai-nilai lokal seperti gotong royong, integritas, dan tanggung jawab, yang sekarang digantikan oleh gaya hidup individualistis. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kearifan lokal memiliki peran penting dalam pengembangan karakter, namun belum dioptimalkan dalam kurikulum sekolah dasar. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, diperlukan strategi dan kerja sama yang terintegrasi antara guru, sekolah, dan masyarakat.

Abstract

The objective was to explore the relationship between the duration of training sessions and the resulting strength in arm, leg, and back muscles among wrestlers in Kendal Regency. Recognizing a gap in existing literature regarding sport-specific training duration, this study aimed to establish whether a correlation exists between training duration and musculoskeletal strength improvements. Utilizing a combination of interviews for exercise duration data and push pull and back leg dynamometers for measuring muscle strength, the study comprised a sample of wrestlers with a mean age of 17 years. Statistical analysis, including the Shapiro-Wilk test for normality, revealed that the data were normally distributed, allowing for considerations of correlation. Results demonstrated a significant relationship between training length and muscle strength gains, signifying the beneficial effects of individualized training durations on specific muscle strength development in wrestlers. These findings highlight the necessity of personalizing training plans to harness the full potential of strength conditioning in athletes and informing more effective training practices moving forward

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan tinjauan pustaka yang bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggunaan media pembelajaran Wordwall dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di sekolah dasar. Wordwall adalah platform digital yang menyediakan berbagai jenis permainan edukatif yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran interaktif, termasuk untuk mata pelajaran seperti IPA, IPS, dan Matematika. Melalui review dari berbagai penelitian yang relevan, ditemukan bahwa penggunaan Wordwall dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar, partisipasi aktif, dan pemahaman konsep siswa. Platform ini memungkinkan siswa untuk belajar secara menyenangkan melalui fitur seperti kuis, teka-teki, dan permainan lainnya yang dapat diakses secara mudah dan menarik. Beberapa studi menunjukkan bahwa Wordwall dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menciptakan pengalaman pembelajaran yang lebih dinamis dan berpusat pada siswa. Selain itu, penggunaan Wordwall juga terbukti efektif dalam mendukung penerapan model-model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan masalah, serta meningkatkan kreativitas dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Berdasarkan temuan-temuan yang ada, artikel ini menyarankan agar media Wordwall diterapkan lebih luas di sekolah dasar sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran yang inovatif dan efektif.

Abstract

Telah banyak dilakukan penelitian mengenai Moodle, LMS terkenal, dan pengaruhnya terhadap berbagai aspek pendidikan. Akan tetapi, terdapat kekurangan yang signifikan dalam literatur mengenai penggunaan Moodle secara spesifik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pemahaman dan kemampuan siswa menulis teks eksposisi dan bagaimana penggunaan Moodle dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks eksposis. Melalui metode penelitian literatur review, penulis memilih 2 artikel dari 19 artikel terkait Moodle dan memilih 6 artikel dari 18 artikel terkait penulisan teks eksposisi untuk dianalisa. Dari hasil penelitian ini, siswa mampu menulis teks eksposisi dengan baik dengan pemahaman yang baik juga. Di samping itu, penggunaan Moodle dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa bahasa Inggris. Penggunaa Moodle lebih efektif daripada metode konvensional dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa, dengan hasil yang menguntungkan kelompok eksperimen. Implikasinya adalah peneliti lain bisa meneliti dampak penggunaan Moodle  untuk meningkatkan kemampuan teks eksposisi di sekolah dasar.

The subjects in this study were the Principal and Class V Teachers of SDN Pendrikan Lor. Data analysis starts with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the Kurikulum Merdeka and Project Based Learning (PjBL) with mobile learning has been implemented in Class V. The implementation of Project Based Learning in mathematics learning is carried out in several stages, namely preparation stage and implementation stage. Abstract

In this digital era, technological developments are developing rapidly and all sectors, including education, must also follow developments in this digital era. Currently, education in Indonesia applies the Merdeka curriculum, in this curriculum the content of science and social studies learning is combined into one to become science learning content, the content of science learning in elementary schools is one of the most important lessons. The science and science learning content encourages students to be more active and have critical reasoning. However, in the field, researchers found problems related to the learning media used by teachers, which had an impact on low student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at SDN Ngadem because researchers found problems in learning science and science in class IV which caused students' grades in that class to be relatively low. This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental type design. Specifically, using a pre-test and post-test design with one group. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. The aim of this research is to measure the effectiveness of using interactive multimedia based on Google Sites in science learning. The research results, which can be seen in Table 2, show that the post-test score (89.14) is higher than the pre-test score (66.72). The N-gain score obtained shows that the increase in student learning achievement is in the medium category, with an N-gain value of 67. The conclusion of this research is that interactive multimedia based on Google Sites has a positive influence on student learning outcomes in class IV of SDN Ngadem, and thus , it can be said that the use of interactive multimedia is effective in improving student learning outcomes.
