Abstract

Atlet Karate Dojo Merpati Padaan tidak mengalami peningkatan kelentukan setelah melakukan latihan kelentukan pada usia ≥15 tahun yang mengakibatkan kurang optimalnya atlet dalam melakukan tendangan karate. Perkembangan kelentukan maksimal dicapai pada usia 15-16 tahun dan akan cenderung menurun seiring bertambahnya usia. Tujuan adalah mengetahui seberapa besar efek sport massage (effleurage, friction, dan vibration) terhadap kelentukan punggung hingga tungkai pada atlet karate Dojo Merpati Padaan. Metode adalah Quasi Experimental Pre-Test & Post-Test One Group Design. Subjek penelitian yaitu 17 atlet menggunakan Purposive Sampling mengikuti perlakuan selama 30 menit 1 kali massage, repetisi 2 kali seminggu selama 2 minggu. Kelentukan diukur sebelum dan setelah perlakuan. Hasil adalah terjadi peningkatan kelentukan, yaitu sit-and-reach test sebesar 12%, standing trunk flexion test sebesar 12%, bridge-up test sebesar 13%, side split test sebesar 9%, front split test sebesar 11%, dan ankle dorsiflexion test sebesar 8%, Sig. (two-sided p) = 0,001–0,007 < 0,05. Kesimpulan yaitu perlakuan sport massage (effleurage, friction, dan vibration) dapat meningkatkan kelentukan punggung hingga tungkai pada atlet karate Dojo Merpati Padaan.Kata kunci: Sport Massage, Kelentukan, Karate

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari model latihan First touch-pass, pengaruh dari model latihan Backpass-passing, dan untuk mengetahui apakah terjadi peningkatan akurasi passing pendek setelah melakukan latihan First touch-pass dan backpass-passing dalam jangka waktu yang telah ditentukan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen semu (quasi experimental). Desain penelitian eksperimen semu yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Two-group pretest-posttest yakni rancangan eksperimen yang dilakukan pada dua kelompok berbeda yang mendapatkan latihan yang berbeda. Model ini menggunakan tes awal (pretest) kemudian setelah diberikan perlakukan dilakukan pengukuran (posttest) lagi untuk mengetahui akibat dari perlakukan itu, sehingga besarnya efek dari eksperimen dapat diketahui dengan pasti. Rentang kurun waktu latihan selama 18 kali pertemuan dengan frekuensi 3 kali dalam seminggu metode latihan first-touch pass mempunyai pengaruh namun tidak mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan, metode latihan passing backpass memiliki nilai rerata yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan metode first-touch passing. kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh dari metode latihan first-touch dan backpass-passing terhadap peningkatan akurasi passing pada pemain SSB Bina Taruna Purworejo kelompok umur 16-17 tahun. Metode latihan passing dengan metode passing backpass lebih efektif dibandingkan metode first-touch passing dan dapat meningkatkan akurasi pemain di SSB Bina Taruna Purworejo. The effectiveness of the backpass method in improving short passing accuracy in soccer schools  Abstract: The research was conducted to determine the effect of the First touch-pass training model, the effect of the Backpass-passing training model, and to find out whether there was an increase in short passing accuracy after doing First touch-pass and backpass-passing training within a predetermined period of time. The research method used is quasi-experimental. The quasi-experimental research design used in this research is a Two-group pretest-posttest, namely an experimental design carried out on two different groups who received different training. This model uses an initial test (pretest) then after being given the treatment, another measurement (posttest) is carried out to determine the effects of the treatment, so that the magnitude of the effect of the experiment can be known with certainty. The training period spanned 18 meetings with a frequency of 3 times a week, the first-touch pass training method had an effect but did not experience a significant increase, and the backpass passing training method had a higher average value compared to the first-touch passing method. The conclusion of this research is that there is an influence of the first-touch and backpass-passing training methods on increasing passing accuracy in SSB Bina Taruna Purworejo players in the 16-17-year-old age group. The passing training method using the backpass passing method is more effective than the first-touch passing method and can increase the accuracy of players at SSB Bina Taruna Purworejo.

Abstract

Limited range of motion of the shoulder joint due to injury can limit a person's activity. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a combination of frirage massage and stretching on increasing the range of motion of shoulder injuries in MCO Yurigi patients by providing treatment four times a meeting and eight times a meeting, and providing information to choose the right method to accelerate and increase the range of motion of shoulder injuries. This study used a quasi-experiment "one group pretest posttest" design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique with a population of 20 people and obtained a sample of 12 people. The data analysis technique uses one way anova with the SPSS version 26 programme. The research variables are 1) independent variable: combination of massage frirage and stretching, 2) dependent variable: range of motion of the shoulder joint. The results of this study showed an increase in the average value of range of motion with treatment for four meetings, namely flexion 24.5°, extension 9.5°, abduction 22.9°, adduction 10°, medial rotation19.1°, lateral rotation 19.1° and treatment for eight meetings, namely flexion 46.6°, extension 19.1°, abduction 46.6°, adduction 19.1°, medial rotation 40°, lateral rotation 38.3°. The conclusion of this study is that the combination of massage frirage and stretching has an influence on increasing the range of motion of the shoulder joint by giving treatment four times and eight meetings.

Abstract

Physical activity directly affects the cardiovascular system, both acute and chronic effects. The acute effect of physical exertion is an increase in heart rate. This increase needs to be lowered so that the body returns to its original condition. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of acute sport massage on the speed of pulse rate reduction after exercise. Method used in this study is quasi-experimental. Quasi experiment with one grou pre-test and post-test research design, the sample is a popda pencak silat athlete psht karangsambung district. The data collection technique used a side kick test for 1 minute as many as 40 kicks, and was calculated using a digital tension meter and stopwatch. Then massage will be given for 20 minutes on the gastrocnemius repetisis muscle movement 3-5 times. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-test the pre-test and post-test mean values were 20.167, the standard deviation values were 9.094, t tables were 7.682, degrees of freedom were 11, and p values were 0.000. The results of the research data show a p value of 0.000, then the p <0,05, therefor H0 is rejected and Ha accepted. The results of this study showed that sports massage given for 20 minutes to the gastrocnemius muscle after physical activity affected the rate of lowering heart rate in athletes.

Abstract

This research uses quantitative quasi-experimental methods with a two factorial design. The aim of this research is to find out and analyze how effective the Zig-Zag and Engklek game exercises are on the static and dynamic balance of children with special needs who are mentally retarded in physical education learning at SLB Demak Regency. The population in this study were mentally retarded students at SDLB Demak Regency with a total of 36 children. The sampling technique used purposive sampling to obtain a sample size of 20 children. The data analysis technique uses multivariate analysis of variance (Manova) at the significance level (α: 0.05). The results of this study: 1) The Zig-zag training group with normal weight experienced an average increase of 13.4 in static balance and experienced an average increase of 10 in dynamic balance, while children who were obese were given Zig-zag training. experienced an average increase of 3 in static balance and experienced an average increase of 6 in dynamic balance. 2) The group that had normal body weight experienced an average increase of 11.2 in static balance and an average increase of 10 in dynamic balance, while the group that had an obese body weight experienced an average increase of 11.2 in playing crankshaft. 6 in static balance and experienced an average increase of 6 in dynamic balance. The conclusion of this research is the effectiveness of Zig-zag and crank game exercises on the static balance and dynamic balance of Intellectually Disabled Children in Physical Education Learning at Special Schools in Demak Regency.

Abstract

The background is the speed of sickle kick pencak silat in PPLP South Sulawesi is minimum. It’s make during match easly to catch the opponents. The purpose is to determine the effect of modified tabata training and leg muscle strength on the sickle kick speed of PPLP South Sulawesi Pencak Silat athletes. Research method using experimental 2x2 factorial design and the sample is PPLP and SMANKO South Sulawesi pencak silat athletes totaling 12 people conducted in the training hall of PPLP South Sulawesi pencak silat athletes on April 30, 2023 to June 04, 2023. The exercises given were modified tabata training interval 1:½ and 1:1 for 5 weeks. Data collection techniques using leg dynamometer tests and sickle kick speed test for 10 seconds. The results of first hypothesis test show difference in the increase mean is 2.83, standar deviation is 1.095 and p value is 0.001 <0.05. Second hypothesis test show difference in the increase mean is 0.5, standar deviation is 0.928 and p value is 0.001 <0.05. Third hypothesis test show interaction between modified tabata training and leg muscle strength with p value 0.032 <0.05. The conclusion is athletes who are trained in modified tabata training 1:½ intervals and have good leg muscle strength have a better increase in sickle kick speed than athletes who are trained in modified tabata training 1:1 intervals and have moderate leg muscle strength, and there is an interaction between modified tabata training and leg muscle strength on sickle kick speed.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) Analyze the process of learning physical education activities in inclusive schools to improve the quality of life for children with special needs; (2) Examine the achievement of physical education learning in enhancing the quality of life for children with special needs in inclusive schools in Semarang city. The study employs a qualitative research design, with data sourced from Principals, Physical Education Teachers, and elementary school inclusion students in Semarang City. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data gathered underwent a series of stages, including the initial collection, subsequent reduction, presentation, and formulation of conclusions. The findings highlight that students with special needs in inclusive schools generally exhibit mild disabilities. These children exhibit positive development in learning Physical Education, expressing happiness in engaging with the subject. Using the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire, which consists of 26 questions assessing the quality-of-life index, Domain 1 (Physical) results show an average quality of life index deemed sufficient for 15 students. In Domain 2 (Psychological), most students demonstrate a good quality of life index. In Domain 3 (Social Relationships), most students display a good quality of life index. Lastly, in Domain 4 (Environment), results from the questionnaire of 15 students reveal a diverse quality of life, ranging from very good to excellent and sufficient. In conclusion, proficiency in physical education learning can positively impact the quality of life for inclusion students in Semarang City inclusion schools.

Abstract

In this digital era, excessive screen time usage will cause an issue. Archery requires a high level of concentration and a good state of mind in shooting. Screen time is one of the indicators that affects archers. This study aimed to identify the correlation between screen time, anxiety, and sleep quality towards archery performance. This study used cross-sectional correlation with survey test design. Thirty of the student’s archery athletes were volunteers and signed informed consent to follow the study. The research instrument to measure data used: 1) the Questionnaire for Screen Time of Adolescents (QUEST), 2) the Sport Anxiety Scale (SAS), 3) the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), and 4) an archery scoring test. The result showed that no significant correlation between screen time (p = 0.28, r = 0.204 and sleep quality (p = 0.26, r = -0.213) on archery performance (p > 0.05). A significant correlation was found between anxiety and archery performance (p = 0.04, r = - 0.372). The study concluded that the relation of when anxiety increased the performance of archery decreased. Both screen time and sleep quality were low correlations.

Abstract

Learning Social Sciences (IPS) in elementary schools faces various obstacles and challenges, both internal and external. The aim of this research is to identify the obstacles and challenges in IPS learning and to propose strategies to overcome these challenges in the context of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. The research method applied is qualitative, using interviews and observations as data collection techniques. The research shows that the main obstacles are internal factors such as student boredom and the variation of learning materials, as well as external factors such as large class sizes and the lack of diversity in teaching methods. Challenges in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era include curriculum adjustments and improving teacher quality. Strategies that teachers can use include integrating technology into learning, developing student skills, and enhancing teacher professionalism.

Abstract

This study aims to: determine the feasibility of pop-up media in SBdP subjects in 3D art form material in SD Negeri Pekauman Kulon 01. This research is a type of research and development with the research subjects of grade IV SD Negeri Pekauman Kulon 01. This research was conducted with a 4D model which consisted of (1) the Define stage and carried out a needs analysis, curriculum, assignments and concepts. (2) The design stage is carried out by collecting references, collecting drafts, compiling materials, and layouts. (3) The develop stage is carried out by making the product design into a product and validating the product repeatedly until a valid product is produced and tested with individual trials, small groups and large groups. (4) The disseminate stage is carried out by distributing the product to the class being tested. Based on the research results, pop-up media is suitable for use in learning three dimensional art work material from the validation results of expert lecturers of 3.31, including the feasible category and elementary school teachers of 3,785 in the category very suitable for use in learning. After the validity test was carried out with validation, it was then tested on students. Individual trials got a percentage of 96.59% with a learning implementation of 99.4%, small group trials got a response of 97.73% with a result of implementation of learning 99.35% and large group trials got a percentage of students' responses of 96.30% with learning implementation of 98.1%.
