Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of democratic leadership by school principals in improving teacher work discipline at UPT SMA Negeri 12 Wajo, Keera District. The main issue raised is how democratic leadership style is applied and how it impacts the improvement of teacher work discipline. The method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive research, where data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Research informants include the principal, vice principal for student affairs, and several subject teachers.  Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results of the study show that the head of the Wajo 12 Public High School UPT consistently applies the principles of democratic leadership through the involvement of teachers in decision-making, appreciation of individual potential, and active collaboration among school members. The application of this leadership style has had a real impact on improving teacher work discipline, as seen in increased punctuality, compliance with rules, and professional responsibility in carrying out tasks. These findings contribute to the development of participatory leadership models in secondary education environments to strengthen a collaborative and professional work culture.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the elements that contribute to students' difficulties speaking English in class as well as the difficulties they face in doing so. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach in the form of a case study format approach. This information is collected through observation and semi-formal interviews. The participants were class 12 students of MA Guppi Sapakeke. For this research, researcher used ten students as samples. Students face challenges in speaking English in class due to lack of grammar, lack of vocabulary, poor pronunciation, and nervousness. These problems contribute to poor understanding and anxiety, and are exacerbated by the fear of making mistakes and being laughed at. Factors contributing to these challenges include limited opportunities for independent study, lack of motivation to increase vocabulary, and lack of prior English language learning. Furthermore fear of making mistakes and being laughed at also contributes to anxiety.Keywords: Exploring, Challenges, Speaking

Abstract

Produk teknologi dan inovasi merupakan upaya yang dilakukan oleh kelompok Pabbalu Mama Muda sebagai pelaku usaha untuk menciptakan, meningkatkan, mengembangkan, dan menyempurnakan produk yang akan dijual. Inovasi produk dalam hal ini merupakan rangkaian pengembangan dan penerapan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dalam satu produk. Kelompok Pabbalu Mama Muda yang terus berinovasi akan memiliki keunggulan karena dapat mengalahkan pesaingnya, memungkinkan mereka untuk terus berkembang dan produknya semakin dikenal di masyarakat, utamanya para pengunjung Kawasan Wisata Alam (KWA) Bantimurung. Beberapa kegiatan yang dilakukan yaitu 1) mendesain T-Shirt Berciri Khas Kawasan Wisata Alam (KWA) Bantimurung untuk menciptakan elemen visual yang menarik dan efektif sehingga dapat menghasilkan desain yang berbasis lokal yang kohesif dan estetis, 2) keterampilan menulis yang baik pun menjadi kebutuhan dalam kegiatan PKM ini khususnya dalam menyusun kata pada produk berupa makanan, souvenir, dan t-shirt dan 3) kemampuan untuk menulis dengan jelas dan persuasif akan membantu produk yang di hasilkan kelompok Pabbalu Mama Muda dalam proses penjualan. Selain hard skill, produk teknologi dan inovasi pada kegiatan PKM ini juga memerlukan soft skill.

Abstract

Background: Anxiety is a common psychological response experienced by pregnant women approaching childbirth. This condition requires optimal social support, especially from the husband as the primary companion during pregnancy and labor. Husbandly support reflects attention, concern, and responsibility for the wife's health and well-being. Purpose: To analyze the implementation of the “susi” interactive (standby husband) video in improving husbands' readiness as birth companions. Method: A quasi-experimental study using a one-group pretest–posttest design. A sample of 30 participants, husbands of pregnant women in their third trimester, was selected using a purposive sampling technique. The intervention consisted of a screening of the “susi interactive video (standby husband). Data were analyzed using SPSS 25 with the McNemar test. Results: The study showed a significant difference between husbands' readiness before and after the video intervention (p-value 0.000 = <0.05). Conclusion: The family-based “susi” interactive video effectively improves husbands' knowledge and readiness to accompany childbirth. This intervention strengthens the husband's understanding of his role, emotional-physical support, and involvement in decision-making, potentially supporting the mother's psychological well-being and ensuring a smooth delivery.   Keywords: Childbirth Assistance; Family Support; Husband Readiness; Standby Husband.   Pendahuluan: Kecemasan merupakan salah satu respons psikologis yang umum dialami ibu hamil menjelang persalinan. Kondisi ini memerlukan dukungan sosial yang optimal, khususnya dari suami sebagai pendamping utama selama kehamilan dan proses persalinan. Dukungan suami mencerminkan bentuk perhatian, kepedulian, serta tanggung jawab terhadap kesehatan dan kesejahteraan istri. Tujuan: Untuk menganalisis implementasi video interaktif “susi” (suami siaga) dalam meningkatkan kesiapan suami sebagai birth companion. Metode: Quasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan one group pretest–posttest design. Sampel berjumlah 30 partisipan yang merupakan suami dari ibu hamil trimester III, dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Intervensi yang diberikan berupa pemutaran video interaktif suami siaga. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS 25 dengan uji Mc. Nemar. Hasil: Menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kesiapan suami sebelum diberikan intervensi video dan setelah diberikan intervensi (p value 0.000 = <0.05). Simpulan: Video interaktif suami siaga berbasis keluarga efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesiapan suami dalam mendampingi persalinan. Intervensi ini memperkuat pemahaman peran suami, dukungan emosional-fisik, serta keterlibatan dalam pengambilan keputusan, sehingga berpotensi mendukung kondisi psikologis ibu dan kelancaran persalinan.   Kata Kunci: Dukungan Keluarga; Kesiapan Suami; Pendampingan Persalinan; Suami Siaga.

Abstract

Pembelajaran terstruktur, yang menekankan pada perencanaan sistematis dan urutan materi yang jelas, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman, fokus, dan motivasi siswa dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi dampak penerapan pembelajaran terstruktur terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SDN 019 Bengalon. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri dari lima guru dengan berbagai mata pelajaran, yaitu Pendidikan Agama Islam, Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, Bahasa Indonesia, Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran terstruktur berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, terutama dalam hal peningkatan fokus, motivasi, dan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Namun, tantangan yang ditemukan termasuk kurangnya fleksibilitas dalam menyesuaikan kecepatan belajar siswa yang bervariasi. Penelitian ini memperkaya literatur mengenai penerapan teori konstruktivisme dalam konteks pendidikan dasar dan memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih terstruktur di sekolah-sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini juga menyarankan agar ke depannya ada penelitian lanjutan yang melibatkan sampel lebih besar dan mempertimbangkan faktor eksternal seperti kondisi sosial-ekonomi dan dukungan teknologi di sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Make a Match learning model assisted by Wordwall digital media and learning videos on the reading skills of second-grade students at SD country 76 Tarowang. The research used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental type and a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design, involving one class with 27 students. Data was collected thru reading comprehension tests administered before and after the implementation of the learning model. Data analysis was conducted with the assistance of the SPSS program using the Paired Sample T-Test. The research results indicate that the average reading skill score of students increased from 66.40 in the pretest to 85.20 in the posttest, with a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, which means there is a significant difference between reading abilities before and after the treatment. Thus, the implementation of the Make a Match learning model assisted by Wordwall and learning videos significantly affects the improvement of students' reading skills. This model has proven capable of creating a fun, interactive learning environment that encourages student participation in the Indonesian language learning process in elementary school.
