Abstract

The content in breast milk has very complete nutrition and contains antibodies that help build the immune system for the growth and development of the baby. Characteristics of mothers that can influence the success of exclusive breastfeeding include age, education level, occupation and parity. Exclusive breastfeeding is giving only breast milk until the baby is 6 months old. Based on the test of the subject of this study, pregnant women in the last trimester were then provided with assistance regarding expressed breastfeeding and monitoring for 6 months. The sample of this research was breastfeeding mothers 0-6 months as many as 30 respondents in Sidenreng Rappang Regency. Based on the independent t test and paired t test to see the effect of the characteristics of breastfeeding assistance on the success of exclusive breastfeeding, namely based on characteristics of age (value 0.591), occupation (value 0.432), education (value 0.190), parity (value 0.186). The conclusion in this study is that there is no characteristic relationship to breastfeeding assistance. Basically the success of exclusive breastfeeding depends on the belief, strong determination and the mother's own decision.Kandungan dalam ASI memliki nutrisi yang sangat lengkap dan mengandung antibodi yang membantu dalam membangun sistem kekebalan untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan bayi. Karakteristik ibu yang dapat mempengaruhi keberhasilan ASI Eksklusif tersebut berupa usia, tingkat pendidikan, pekerjaan dan paritas. ASI Eksklusif adalah pemberian ASI saja sampai bayi berusia 6 bulan. Berdasarkan uji Subjek penelitian ini ibu hamil trimester akhir, kemudian dilakukan pendampingan tentang ASI Perah dan dilakukan pemantauan selama 6 bulan. Sampel penelitian ini adalah ibu menyusui 0-6 bulan sebanyak 30 responden di Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang. Berdasarkan uji independent t test dan paired t test untuk melihat pengaruh karakteristik pendampingan ASI Perah terhadap keberhasilan ASI Eksklusif yaitu berdasarkan karakteristik umur (nilai 0.591), pekerjaan (nilai 0.432), pendidikan (nilai 0.190), paritas (nilai 0.186). Adapun kesimpulan pada penelitian ini tidak ada hubungan karakteristik terhadappendampingan ASI Perah. Pada dasarnya keberhasilan ASI Eksklusif tergantung atas keyakinan, tekat yang kuat dan keputusan ibu sendiri.

Abstract

Learning Indonesian requires students to understand various types of texts, one of which is procedural texts, which explain the steps for carrying out an activity. However, procedural text learning in schools is often poorly connected to the local cultural context, thus not providing a relevant learning experience for students. This study aims to describe the integration of local Ternate vocabulary into procedural text learning for high school students and analyze its impact on text comprehension and cultural appreciation. The method used is descriptive qualitative research through classroom observations, student assignment analysis, and teacher interviews. The results show that the integration of local vocabulary, especially those related to culinary arts, traditional tools, and cultural activities, increases student engagement, enriches vocabulary, and strengthens understanding of procedural text structures. In addition, contextual learning based on local culture contributes to the preservation of regional languages ​​and the cultural identity of Ternate students. This study emphasizes the urgency of an ethnopedagogical approach in Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

Snacking habits among school-aged adolescents can influence nutrient intake and affect their nutritional status, particularly in school environments where ready-to-eat foods high in sugar, salt, and fat are widely available. This study aimed to describe the snacking behavior and nutritional status of students at SMP Negeri 1 Mamuju, Mamuju Regency. A quantitative descriptive design was employed with a sample of 192 students from grades VII and VIII, selected using proportional random sampling based on the Slovin formula. Data were collected through structured questionnaires assessing snacking behavior, frequency of snack consumption, attention to nutritional content, and anthropometric measurements using a digital scale and microtoise to determine nutritional status via the BMI-for-age index. The results showed that most respondents had moderate snacking behavior (90.6%), while good and poor behaviors were reported in 7.3% and 2.1% of students, respectively. The majority consumed snacks at a moderate frequency (66.7%) and consumed colored snacks (75.0%), yet only 28.6% paid attention to snack nutritional content. Most students had a normal nutritional status (90.6%), with undernutrition (3.1%), overweight (5.7%), and obesity (0.5%) reported in smaller proportions. Chi-square analysis revealed no significant association between snacking behavior or snacking frequency and nutritional status (p>0.05). These findings highlight the need for nutrition education programs and healthy canteen initiatives in schools to improve healthy snacking behaviors while maintaining optimal nutritional status

Abstract

Previous research has shown that 72.8% of school children’s snack samples in six major cities in Indonesia contained harmful substances. This study aimed to describe students’ knowledge and attitudes toward healthy snacks at SMP Negeri 1 Mamuju. A descriptive design was used with a total sample of 192 students selected through proportional random sampling from grades VII and VIII. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire measuring levels of knowledge and attitudes toward healthy snacks. The results showed that the majority of respondents had low knowledge (65.1%), followed by moderate knowledge (26.0%) and high knowledge (8.9%). Nevertheless, most students had a positive attitude toward healthy snacks (68.2%), followed by moderate (22.4%) and poor attitudes (9.4%). Relationship analysis revealed that all students with high knowledge also had positive attitudes, while those with low knowledge were still dominated by positive attitudes, although a considerable proportion exhibited moderate and poor attitudes. These findings indicate a gap between knowledge and attitudes, which could potentially affect the consistent application of healthy snack consumption behavior. Integrated nutrition education interventions, along with school canteen supervision and the habituation of healthy eating practices, are needed to improve knowledge while maintaining students’ positive attitudes.

Abstract

Program ScienceGo-Digital dirancang untuk memperkuat kapasitas guru IPA di daerah 3T, khususnya Kabupaten Keerom, Papua, dalam menjawab tantangan pembelajaran abad ke-21. Kesenjangan kompetensi dalam integrasi pendekatan ilmiah dan teknologi digital masih menjadi hambatan, di mana hanya sekitar 30% guru memiliki pengalaman membuat konten digital mandiri. Melalui pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), program ini memfasilitasi pelatihan berbasis co-teaching yang menekankan pengembangan konten digital kontekstual, keterampilan pedagogik, serta produksi media pembelajaran lokal. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan kompetensi guru dalam menyusun perangkat ajar inovatif berbasis Project-Based Learning (PjBL) dan Problem-Based Learning (PBL), disertai penerapan asesmen autentik. Di sisi literasi digital, guru mampu memproduksi video eksperimen lokal, infografis, dan media interaktif yang relevan dengan konteks siswa. Produk ini meningkatkan partisipasi serta antusiasme siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA. ScienceGo-Digital berkontribusi nyata dalam menjembatani kesenjangan kompetensi guru di daerah 3T serta mendukung transformasi pendidikan yang inklusif dan berkeadilan sesuai semangat Merdeka Belajar.

Abstract

Menarche merupakan tonggak penting dalam perkembangan biologis dan psikologis anak perempuan, namun banyak siswi sekolah dasar di Indonesia menghadapinya dengan kecemasan akibat kurangnya pengetahuan, stigma budaya, dan fasilitas yang tidak memadai. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesiapan siswi SD Negeri 1 Tatura, Kota Palu dalam menghadapi menstruasi pertama melalui edukasi interaktif. Sebanyak 51 siswi berusia 10–12 tahun mengikuti sosialisasi yang dilaksanakan pada 10 Oktober 2025. Intervensi dilakukan melalui interactive health education yang memadukan penyampaian materi, diskusi, leaflet bergambar, serta games edukatif. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Wilcoxon Test untuk menilai peningkatan pengetahuan. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor rata-rata dari 11,76 menjadi 14,41, dengan nilai signifikansi p = 0,000, menandakan adanya perbedaan pengetahuan yang signifikan setelah intervensi. Media leaflet dan pendekatan interaktif terbukti meningkatkan pemahaman, keterlibatan, dan rasa percaya diri peserta dalam menghadapi menarche. Program ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi pra-menarche yang terstruktur dapat menjadi strategi efektif untuk menurunkan kecemasan dan meningkatkan kesiapan siswi. Implementasi program serupa disarankan untuk diperluas melalui keterlibatan guru dan pendekatan berbasis keluarga agar keberlanjutan edukasi dapat terjaga.

Abstract

Abstrak: Masyarakat Indonesia masih banyak yang belum membiasakan sarapan. Padahal dengan tidak sarapan akan berdampak buruk terhadap proses belajar di sekolah bagi anak sekolah, menurunkan aktivitas fisik, menyebabkan kegemukan pada remaja, orang dewasa, dan meningkatkan risiko jajan yang tidak sehat. Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan para siswa sekolah dasar terkait pentingnya sarapan. Kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat yang dilakukan berupa edukasi tentang pentingnya sarapan yang dilakukan melalui metode ceramah dan tanya jawab. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilakukan di sekolah dasar (SD). .Mitra pada kegiatan ini adalah siswa kelas lima dan enam sebanyak 25 orang. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre dan post test. Hasil evaluasi dari pre dan post test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan persentase peserta yang memiliki pengetahuan cukup yaitu dari 60% sebelum penyuluhan menjadi 80% setelah penyuluhan. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan para siswa tentang pentingnya sarapan, dan ikut berpartisipasi aktif dalam mengampanyekan kebiasaan sarapan pada siswa SD dan keluarga mereka. Abstract: Many Indonesians still do not make breakfast a habit. Not eating breakfast negatively impacts the learning process at school for schoolchildren, reduces physical activity, causes obesity in adolescents and adults, and increases the risk of unhealthy snacks. The purpose of this Community Service activity is to increase elementary school students' knowledge regarding the importance of breakfast. The Community Service activity was carried out in the form of education about the importance of breakfast through lectures and question and answer methods. This Community Service was carried out at Salulayang Bambu Elementary School. Evaluation was carried out through pre- and post-tests. The results of the pre- and post-test evaluations showed an increase in the percentage of participants with sufficient knowledge, from 60% before the counseling to 80% after the counseling. Through this activity, it is hoped that students' knowledge about the importance of breakfast will increase and they will actively participate in campaigning for breakfast habits among elementary school students and their families.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun sebuah kisi-kisi learning continuum terkait aspek klasifikasi makhluk hidup berdasarkan pendapat guru IPA SMP dan guru Biologi SMA yang ditinjau dari level kesukaran. Kisi-kisi learning continuum ini diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu bahan pertimbangan dalam menyusun dan mengembangkan kurikulum di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode survei yang dilaksanakan di lima kota/kabupaten yang berada di provinsi D.I. Yogyakarta, yaitu Kota Yogyakarta, Kabupaten Sleman, Kabupaten Kulonprogo, Kabupaten Gunung Kidul dan Kabupaten Bantul.  Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa kuisioner yang disebarkan secara online melalui google form. Responden yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 111 responden dari guru IPA SMP dan guru Biologi SMA yang dipilih menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kisi-kisi learning continuum terkait aspek klasifikasi makhluk hidup yang disusun berdasarkan pendapat guru IPA SMP dan guru Biologi SMA belum menunjukan adanya tingkatan level kesukaran. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa guru IPA SMP maupun guru Biologi SMA masih belum mempertimbangkan kesesuaian antara level kesukaran dengan tingkat perkembangan maupun jenjang pendidikan peserta didik. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut yang melibatkan pendapat pakar dalam hal ini adalah dosen Pendidikan Biologi kemudian dilanjutkan dengan melakukan FGD (Focus Group Discussion) antara guru dan dosen untuk mendiskusikan dan mempertimbangkan hasil yang telah diperoleh. Kata Kunci : Learning continuum, Klasifikasi makhluk hidup, level kesukaran, Guru ABSTRACT This study aims to compile a learning continuum grid related to aspects of the classification of living things based on the opinions of junior high school science teachers and high school biology teachers in terms of difficulty level. The learning continuum grid is expected to be one of the considerations in preparing and developing curricula in Indonesia. This research is a descriptive study using a survey method that was carried out in five cities/districts in the province of D.I. Yogyakarta, namely the City of Yogyakarta, Sleman Regency, Kulonprogo Regency, Gunung Kidul Regency, and Bantul Regency. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire that was distributed online via Google Forms. Respondents who were involved in this study were 111 respondents from junior high school science teachers and high school biology teachers who were selected using a convenience sampling technique. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that the learning continuum grid related to aspects of the classification of living things which was compiled based on the opinions of junior high school science teachers and high school biology teachers did not show any level of difficulty. This indicates that junior high school science teachers and high school biology teachers still have not considered the compatibility between the level of difficulty and the level of development and education level of students. Therefore it is necessary to carry out further research involving expert opinion, in this case, the Biology Education lecturer then followed by conducting FGDs (Focus Group Discussions) between teachers and lecturers to discuss and consider the results that have been obtained. Keywords : Learning continuum, the classification of living things, difficulty level, teacher
