Abstract

Memahami manusia adalah memahami diri sendiri. Individu lain adalah representasi dari dirinya sendiri. Akan tetapi di dalam diri setiap manusia, baik sebagai individu maupun dalam suatu komunitas, tetap mengandung misteri yang tidak dapat terungkap secara tuntas. Manusia adalah ciptaan Allah swt. yang memiliki peran strategis sebagai seorang hamba dan sekaligus khalifah di muka bumi. Manusia dilahirkan dalam keadaan suci, dalam makna sesuai fitrah. Dalam sebuah hadis shahih yang diriwayatkan Bukhari dan Muslim, disebutkan bahwa setiap anak lahir dalam keadaan fitrah. Kedua orangtuanyalah yang memungkinkan ia menjadi Yahudi, Nasrani, atau Majusi. Hadis ini mengisyaratkan bahwa sejak lahir, manusia sudah dibekali berbagai potensi yang disebut fitrah. Fitrah adalah suatu istilah Bahasa Arab yang berarti tabiat yang suci atau yang baik, yang khusus diciptakan Allah swt. bagi manusia sebagai potensi utama dalam tinjauan filsafat pendidikan Islam. Informasi terkait dengan manusia sangat banyak disebutkan dalam Alquran sebagai referensi dan pedoman dalam kehidupan sehari-hari untuk memperoleh jalan yang benar.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze multicultural Islamic education, the manifestation of intelligent humans as human beings. With the focus of this research, it discusses several aspects, including (1) Understanding Islamic Education (2) Goals of Islamic Education (3) Islamic Education with a Multicultural Insight (4) Ultimate Goal of Islamic Education with a Multicultural Insight, Manifestation of Intelligent Humans as Human Beings. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method of library study analysis or what is called library research. In this case, data and information collection was obtained through various books, journals and other previous research. The results of this research reveal that the concept of Islamic religious education with a multicultural perspective cannot be separated from the concept of intelligent humans and the paradigm of Islamic religious education with the concept of Al-Insan Al-Kamil, both of which have the same mission in describing the profile of a person who is faithful and devout. In Islamic education, the characteristics of intelligent humans are defined as insan kamil, namely complete humans, who have noble character and perfect morals, as humans who believe and are devoted to Allah. Insan Kamil is a description of the manifestation of humans. who are able to fulfill their duties and obligations as God's creatures as caliphs on earth, able to carry out and develop social, national and religious tasks together.

Abstract

Dalam riset ini, konsep multikulturalisme diintegrasikan ke dalam sistem pendidikan. Fokus penelitian meliputi aspek-aspek berikut: pemahaman tentang pendidikan multikultural, penerapan prinsip-prinsip multikultural dalam konteks pendidikan, metode-metode pendidikan yang mendukung multikulturalisme, dan cara nilai-nilai multikultural disatukan dalam pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kualitatif dari literatur yang relevan. Data dan informasi dikumpulkan melalui studi literatur dari berbagai sumber seperti buku, jurnal, dan penelitian sebelumnya. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai multikultural dalam pendidikan dapat memperkuat solidaritas dan penghargaan satu sama lain. Mulai dari nilai toleransi, yang menghargai perbedaan tanpa diskriminasi berdasarkan ras, etnis, suku, agama, bahasa, atau budaya, hingga nilai demokrasi yang menegaskan hak setiap siswa untuk berpendapat secara bebas. Selanjutnya, nilai keadilan diwujudkan dengan memastikan kesempatan pendidikan yang sama bagi setiap individu. Terakhir, prinsip kesetaraan memastikan bahwa setiap siswa diperlakukan dengan adil, tanpa memandang asal agama, bahasa, suku, atau budaya mereka

Abstract

Abstract Differences in language, customs and culture in Indonesian society are a reality that cannot be denied. This is indeed recognized by the Indonesian people, and will continue to happen in the past, present and in the future. The diversity of Indonesian society can be a blessing because it brings extraordinary cultural riches. This cultural wealth, if processed wisely, will become a beautiful mosaic and national strength. National strength is not only needed to strengthen national unity and unity but also to provide equality, equity and justice for every person, community and culture in Indonesia to realize prosperity. actively participate in state and nation development. Abstract

Multicultural education is a crucial component in creating an inclusive learning environment in Indonesia, a nation renowned for its cultural diversity. This study aims to identify multicultural education models implemented in schools, supporting factors, and obstacles in their implementation. The research employs a qualitative method with a library research approach, gathering data from various books and journal sources. The findings reveal that multicultural education models include curriculum revision, reforming learning systems, and integrating multicultural values into school activities. Supporting factors for success include a positive school climate, an inclusive curriculum, and active roles of teachers. Conversely, challenges faced include ineffective communication among students, a lack of educational media, and limited socialization outside the classroom. This study concludes that by addressing these barriers, multicultural education can make a more significant contribution to building a tolerant and respectful society.

Abstract

This article tries to discuss the relationship between science, philosophy of science, and philosophy of science. The method used in this research is the Hermeneutics method with elements; interpretation and description. Philosophy, science and knowledge are basically human activities. Human activity is defined as a process as well as a result. Judging from the results, all three are the result of conscious human thinking. When viewed from the process, this third shows an activity that seeks to solve problems in human life (to obtain truth and knowledge), by using certain methods or procedures systematically and critically.

Abstract

The article was written with the aim of analyzing the state of multiculturalism during the Umayyad Dynasty. In Writing this article, the author uses a libraby research method with a descriptive analysis approach. By conducting this research, several results were obtained, including: (1) During the Umayyad Dynasty, many communities and community goups were found with diverse cultures and beliefs, (2) Arabization carried out by the Umayyad Dynasty made community groups with diverse tribes and beliefs become in the same language, (3) The policies carried out by the Caliphs provided many concessions to the Non-Muslim community.

Abstract

This study examines the dynamics of religious life in Kampung Madras, Medan, which is known as a symbol of tolerance and harmony between religious communities amidst ethnic, cultural, and religious diversity. This village is a real example of harmonious pluralism, demonstrated by the existence of houses of worship from various religions side by side, such as mosques, churches, temples, and gurdwaras. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, aiming to understand the phenomenon of tolerance from the perspective of the local community's experience. The results of the study show that harmony in Kampung Madras is supported by a collective awareness of the importance of respecting differences, interfaith marriage relationships, and strong kinship ties. The practice of religious moderation is seen through interfaith participation in various religious celebrations. Conflicts rarely occur, and if there are, they are resolved through direct communication that prioritizes local wisdom. However, this tolerance still has limits, especially in terms of faith, which is maintained as a fundamental principle. This study confirms that tolerance in Kampung Madras is not a form of religious relativism, but rather an effort to maintain social harmony without sacrificing each person's basic beliefs. Madras Village provides an example of how multicultural societies can live side by side peacefully through dialogue, understanding, and solidarity.

Abstract

This article was written to analyze the history of multiculturalism during the Abbasid Dynasty. While writing this article, the author used a library research method with a descriptive analysis approach. Reference sources were obtained from various printed books, digital books, and articles related to multiculturalism during the Abbasid Dynasty. These sources were processed into new information related to the main topic of discussion. With this research, several results were found, including (1) there was a social status in social life at the Abbasid Dynasty, (2) the existence of an immigrant religion that is Buddhism, (3) a political system similar to the Persian nation and a government system that emphasized the Khalifah came from the Arab nation, (4) the existence of international trade in the city of Baghdad which became a transit center for trade.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyse the concept of tolerance between religious people in Islam by using the study of classical and modern texts, such as Al-Qur'an and Hadith, in order to understand how Islamic teachings view religious differences. The research method used is with a library research approach that is descriptive-qualitative by using various references that are relevant to tolerance topics, such as journals, books, and online media, which are used as supporting data that is directly related to the research focus. Based on research results shows that tolerance between religious people in Islam is more than just respecting differences, as well as harmony between religious people. This research is expected to deepen the understanding of the relevance of tolerance between religious people in Islam as a basis for peaceful coexistence in the era of globalisation.
