Abstract

This article discusses the concept of gender in an Islamic perspective and analyzes gender issues that often arise. The problem of Islamic education that is often highlighted by the West is the issue of gender equality and the role and participation of women in education among Muslims. The issue of gender equality in the field of education, then raises various criticisms of Islamic teachings which are considered not to provide space for women in the world of education, because most of the teachings of Islam are considered too masculine and in favor of men. This article concludes that the concept of gender in Islam is based on the principle of equality in value and dignity, with recognition of differences in roles and balanced responsibilities. Although there are differences in interpretation among Islamic scholars and thinkers, the essence of Islamic teachings emphasizes respect for the rights and roles of both sexes in society. Abstract

Asbabun Nuzul is one of the important topics in Ulumul Qur'an. As a historian who wants to explore something from the development of History must know the causes of events and their drivers, if he wants to know the essence of History. Likewise in understanding the implied content of the Qur'an. Understanding what events caused the verse to be revealed, to whom the verse was revealed, and in what context the verse was revealed. When viewed in terms of the number of causes and verses that were revealed, Asbabun Nuzul can be divided into: Ta'addud as-Sabab wa an-Nazil Wahid, and Ta'addud an-Nazil wa as-Sabab Wahid. As for when viewed from the wording of Asbabun Nuzul contained in the narration, it is divided into: Sarih or clear, and Muhtamil or containing two meanings. The benefits of knowledge about Asbabun Nuzul are very helpful in understanding the verses of the Qur'an. It is not an exaggeration what al-Wahidi said that knowing Asbabun Nuzul is an obligation and must receive primary attention. very helpful to understand verses concerning legal issues. Many people who do not know Asbabun Nuzul fall into confusion and doubt. There are even verses that cannot be understood correctly without knowing the reason.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Qualitative research makes an important contribution to educational studies as it enables researchers to gain an in-depth understanding of learning processes, experiential meanings, and social contexts. Nevertheless, limitations in conceptual understanding among educational researchers persist, particularly with regard to the characteristics, procedures, and principles of trustworthiness in qualitative research. This article aims to examine and systematically synthesize the fundamental concepts of qualitative research in the field of education. The study employs a library-based research method with a descriptive-analytical approach, involving stages of literature searching, selection, classification, and critical analysis of relevant scholarly sources, including methodological books and reputable journal articles. The findings indicate that qualitative research is characterized by a naturalistic approach, a focus on meaning, inductive analysis, and the positioning of the researcher as a key instrument in data collection and analysis. Furthermore, the quality and trustworthiness of qualitative research data are ensured through the application of credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability criteria. This study concludes that a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental concepts and principles of qualitative research is a crucial prerequisite for producing systematic, academically accountable, and meaningful educational research in both academic and practical contexts. ABSTRAK Penelitian kualitatif memiliki kontribusi penting dalam kajian pendidikan karena memungkinkan peneliti memahami proses pembelajaran, makna pengalaman, serta konteks sosial secara mendalam. Meskipun demikian, masih dijumpai keterbatasan pemahaman konseptual di kalangan peneliti pendidikan terkait karakteristik, prosedur, dan prinsip keabsahan penelitian kualitatif. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan mensintesis konsep dasar penelitian kualitatif dalam bidang pendidikan secara sistematis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis melalui tahapan penelusuran, seleksi, klasifikasi, dan analisis kritis terhadap literatur ilmiah yang relevan, meliputi buku metodologi dan artikel jurnal bereputasi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penelitian kualitatif memiliki ciri utama berupa pendekatan naturalistik, orientasi pada makna, analisis induktif, serta penempatan peneliti sebagai instrumen kunci dalam pengumpulan dan analisis data. Selain itu, mutu dan keabsahan data dalam penelitian kualitatif ditentukan melalui penerapan kriteria kredibilitas, transferabilitas, dependabilitas, dan konfirmabilitas. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemahaman yang komprehensif terhadap konsep dan prinsip dasar penelitian kualitatif menjadi prasyarat penting untuk menghasilkan penelitian pendidikan yang sistematis, dapat dipertanggungjawabkan secara ilmiah, dan bermakna dalam konteks akademik maupun praktis.

Abstract

Sebagai tujuan utama, abstrak ini bertujuan menggambarkan signifikansi umum dan konsep penelitian. Pendidikan Islam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi, yang menuntut adanya inovasi terus-menerus tanpa mengabaikan inti ajaran Islam. Makalah ini menganalisis konsep inovasi (tajdid dan ibtikar) dari perspektif pendidikan Islam serta mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk inovasi yang telah dikembangkan. Bentuk-bentuk inovasi tersebut meliputi: kurikulum integratif dan berbasis kompetensi, metodologi pembelajaran aktif seperti problem-based learning dan project-based learning, pemanfaatan teknologi digital (e-learning dan digitalisasi khazanah Islam), transformasi manajemen kelembagaan (TQM dan pesantren terpadu), serta penguatan pendidikan karakter dan spiritualitas (ESQ dan living values education). Namun, implementasinya menghadapi tantangan berupa resistensi dari tradisionalis, keterbatasan sumber daya finansial dan manusia, serta kualitas guru yang tidak merata. Keberhasilan inovasi membutuhkan komitmen dari seluruh pemangku kepentingan serta penguatan ekosistem inovasi.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of gender in Islamic education perspectives, focusing on equal educational rights between men and women. Islamic education theologically teaches gender equality based on the Qur'an and Hadith, yet its implementation faces significant challenges due to patriarchal cultural influences and gender-biased interpretations. The research employs a literature review method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Findings reveal that although Islamic teachings emphasize equal educational rights for all individuals regardless of gender, practices are often hindered by conservative social and cultural norms that limit women's educational access. Major challenges include patriarchal interpretations of religious texts, limited educational access particularly in rural areas, and insufficient awareness of gender equality in curricula. Required efforts include inclusive curriculum reform, gender equality-based teacher training, improved educational access for women, and removal of cultural barriers. This study concludes that Islamic education must systematically integrate gender equality principles to realize a fair, inclusive educational system aligned with fundamental Islamic values.

Abstract

Population and sampling are fundamental methodological components that determine the validity, reliability, and generalizability of educational research findings. Inadequate determination of population boundaries, inappropriate sampling techniques, or improper sample size selection may lead to biased conclusions and weaken the scientific credibility of research outcomes. This study aims to critically examine the concepts of population and sample as methodological foundations in educational research. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach through library research, this study analyzes and synthesizes relevant methodological literature and scholarly articles using content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that population serves as the basis for defining the scope of research generalization, while samples function as representative subsets selected through systematic procedures. Effective sampling requires careful consideration of sample size adequacy, sampling techniques, population characteristics, and desired levels of precision and confidence. The study also highlights fundamental differences in sampling practices between quantitative and qualitative research paradigms, where quantitative research emphasizes statistical representativeness, whereas qualitative research prioritizes data saturation and contextual depth. This article contributes to methodological discourse by providing a systematic conceptual clarification of population and sampling frameworks, particularly for novice researchers in education. A comprehensive understanding of these concepts is essential to designing rigorous, credible, and impactful educational research.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and test the effect of the application of inquiry and discovery models on the learning outcomes of Islamic Cultural History in MTs. As'adiyah Putri 2 Sengkang. This type of research is an ex-post facto research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were students in MTs As'adiyah Putri 2 Sengkang. Sampling was done by random sampling of 66 students. The results of the study found the effect of applying the inquiry model of 21.4% and discoveri of 5.1% on the SKI learning outcomes. The effect of inquiry and discovery models on student learning outcomes in Islamic Cultural History subjects at MTs. As'adiyah Putri 2 Sengkang by 21.5%. while the remaining 78.5 percent is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mencoba mengelaborasi tentang manajemen pembiayaan pperasional Pesantren Tahfizul Quran Imam Al-Syaatibi Bontoabaddo Gowa. Elaborasi dengan melakukan penelitian lapangan (feld research), bila dilihat dari jenis data adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan cara ukuran kuantitatif bentuk presentase Terhadap data penemuan dilapangan. Data diperoleh dari para pengelola pembiayaan Pesantren Tahfizul Quran Imam Al-Syaatibi Bontobaddo Gowa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan panduan observasi, pedoman wawancara dan data dokumentasi sebagai instrumen penelitian. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan sistem pembiayaan pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren Tahfizul Quran Imam Asy-Syaatibi Bantoabaddo gowa secara administratif telah menunjukkan tata kelola keuangan yang positif, bahkan cenderung sitematis meski masih terbilang manajemen pembukuan sangat sederhana. Sistem pembiayaan pendidikan pesantren yang diawali dari penganggaran (budgeting) benar-benar ditentukan berdasar pada hasil evaluasi tahun sebelumnya dan menerapkan skala prioritas dalam dua jangka penggunaan; yaitu jangka pendek yang dinamakan kebutuhan personalia, dan jangka Panjang yang dikenal dengan kebutuhan non personalia. Sedangkan dalam pembukuannya pada pesantren tersebut menerapkan sistem pembiayaann pendidikan dua sisi, yaitu pembukuan yang disesuaikan dengan peraturan perundang-undangan pemerintah yang nantinya akan disesuaikan dengan sumber dana lembaga pemerintah tersebut, dan pembukuan yang bersifat internal (sumber dana dari orang tua santri ataupun pihak lain yang san tetapi tidak mengikat). Untuk pengawasan (controlling), pesantren ini menerapkan elemen yang secara langsung dapat turut mengawasi jalannya pendapatan dan penggunaan keuangan oleh Kepala pesantren (direktur) dan kepala yayasan sebagai kuasa pengguna anggaran dan Komite pesantren.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pendidikan agama Islam untuk pembinaan akhlak peserta didik di SMK Penerbangan Techno Terapan Makassar. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dengan lokasi penelitian di SMK Penerbangan Techno Terapan Makassar. pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan teologis normatif, pendekatan pedagogis, pendekatan psikologis dan pendekatan sosiologis. Sumber data primer adalah kepala sekolah, guru, Staff dan peserta didik. Sumber data sekunder berupa dokumen-dokumen, profil sekolah, data tenaga kependidikan, data tenaga pendidik, dan unsur penunjang pendidikan lainnya. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen pada penelitian ini adalah penulis sendiri dan menyangkut instrumen tertentu seperti pedoman observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Data dianalisis dengan reduksi data, display data, verifikasi data, editing data, dan tabulating data. Keabsahan data diuji dengan triangulasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pendidikan agama Islam (Kegiatan Ikhrohist) di SMK Penerbangan Techno Terapan Makassar terbagi atas 3 bagian, yaitu kegiatan harian/mingguan, yang terdiri atas Shalat Dzuhur, Yasinan, Tadarus Al-Qur’an, Jum’at Bersih/BaktiSosial, Shalat Jum’at Berjama’ah, Seni Membaca al-Qur’an. Adapun kegiatan bulanan meliputi: infaq dan kajian Islami. Sedangkan kegiatan tahunan meliputi: peringatan hari-haribesar Islam, pesantren kilat dan ditutup dengan buka puasa bersama, serta kegiatan ekstrakurikuler terpadu yang dipusatkan didaerah desa belawa kabupaten sengkang dengan alokasi waktu 6 hari. Adapun peran pembina kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pendidikan agama Islam (Ikhrohist) di SMK Penerbangan Techno Terapan Makassar, adalah membimbing, mengatur dan mengarahkan peserta didik kepada program kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pendidikan agama Islam (Kegiatan Ikhrohist) yang bersifat membina akhlak peserta didik.

Abstract

This paper will elaborate on how the construction of Islamic Religious Education curriculum competencies at STAI Al-Amanah Jeneponto. This research is a qualitative research. The subject of this research is focused on the construction of the Islamic Religious Education curriculum at STAI Al-Amanah Jeneponto. The approach used in this research is sociological and pedagogical approach. The results showed that Islamic Religious Education curriculum construction at STAI Al-Amanah Jeneponto which is more focused on the design of the subject centered design curriculum, which is a curriculum designed to focus on Islamic Religious Education courses that are supported. The integration model found based on informant data is the "Integration Curriculum Model (ICM)" which is then developed in an integrated manner with an interdisciplinary approach to complement one another, especially those included in the Islamic Religious Education subject group.
