Abstract

Optimation studies have been conducted using hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) to the reduction of cyanide levels in the wastewater. Parameters studied were the optimum concentration of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), the optimum pH and optimum contact time between hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) with wastewater in reducing the cyanide content. Cyanide obtained from steam distillation of liquid waste and the assay using 0.02N silver nitrate. Concentration used were 500 ppm, 400 ppm, 300 ppm, 200 ppm and 100 ppm; pH range is (7, 8, 9, 10 and 11) and the variation of the contact time is: 0, 30, 60, 90, 120 and 150 minutes. The result of the research reveals at early treatment the cyanide content is 50,22% w / w and underwend a reduction in levels after addition of various concentrations of H2O2; variations in pH variation of contact time. Optimum condition treatment at 500 ppm of H2O2  basicity at pH 8 and contact time for 60 minutes result reduction of cyanide level of 36,40% w/w, 40,91% w/w and 37,09% w/w respectively.

Has done conducted research studies the use of oxidizing hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) to the reduction of cyanide levels in the wastewater. Parameters measured were the optimum concentration of hydrogen peroxide, pH optimum, optimum contact time between Hydrogen Peroxide with wastewater in reducing the cyanide content. Cyanide obtained from steam distillation of liquid waste and assay using 0.02 N silver nitrate. Variations in the concentration used was 100 ppm, 200 ppm, 300 ppm, 400 ppm and 500 ppm; pH variation is (7, 8, 9, 10 and 11) and the variation of contact time are: 30, 60, 90, 120 and 150 minutes. The results showed early treatment of cyanide content of 50.22% w/w and experienced a reduction after the addition of H2O2 concentration of 100 ppm, 200 ppm, 300 ppm, 400 ppm and 500 ppm; variations in pH is 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 and the variation of contact time are: 30, 60, 90, 120 and 150 minutes. Abstract

To achieve optimal maternal health is one of the development agenda in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The said agenda also in line with the government development pathway 2015-2019, to manifest the development priority agenda (Nawacita), particularly on the fifth point namely “increasing the quality of life of Indonesian” through “population development and family planning”. This study aim to identify factors related to the use of implant as contraceptive family planning method in Wae Mbeleng public health center. This study was using analytic cross-sectional design on 392 women on reproductive age selected using multistage random sampling. The variable analyzed in this study such as age characteristic, information from health professionals and spouse’ support collected using structurized questionnaire from January 2019 to March 2019. Data analysis conducted through univariate analysis, bivariate analysis using simple logistic regression test and multivariate analysis using multinomial logistic regression. The study identified that the prevalence of implant use on reproductive age women in Wae Mbeleng public health center was 0,9%. Variables with significant statistic correlation on implant use were age (p=0,005), education (0,000), knowledge (0,000), culture (0,016), information obtain from health professionals (p= 0,000), and spouse’s support (p=0,000). The most impactful variable on implant contraceptive method was the information obtain from health workers. The effort to facilitate the information provision is by engaging public figure and religious leader that considered as role models in order to avoid the misinterpretation of family planning in accordance with each religious beliefs. Abstract

Quality is an important factor in health services. Bakunase Health Center is one of the primary accredited health centers in Kupang City. Based on data from the Health Department, there has been a decrease in the number of visits over the last three years. This happens due to external factors and internal factors. The external factor is the increasing degree of public health, while the internal factor is the decrease in the patients’ commitment to treatment. The purpose of this study is to describe the level of outpatient satisfaction with the quality of health services at Bakunase Health Center of Kupang City in 2020. This was a descriptive survey with a quantitative approach. The population in this study was all patients who visited and used outpatient services at Bakunase Health Center in Kupang City from January to October 2019. Accidental sampling was used in selecting the samples from each outpatient sub-group in 7 polyclinics at Bakunase Health Center using inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results indicated that the level of conformity between expectations and reality of the services are as follows: 98.78% tangible, 98.66% reliable, 98.33% responsive, 98.79% assurance 98.74% empathy. Based on the Cartesian Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) diagram, quadrant A was filled by one attribute from the responsiveness dimension, quadrant B was filled by most attributes from the reliability dimension, quadrant C was filled by most attributes from the empathy dimension and quadrant D was filled by one attribute from the responsiveness dimension.

Abstract

Poor planning and distribution generally cause drug expiration problems. Therefore, planning and distribution activities must be carried out according to accounting rules. The purpose of this study was to describe the stages of planning for drug needs and drug distribution at the Ndetundora Community Health Center (Puskesmas). The type of research used was qualitative research. There were three informants in this study whose positions and duties were related to the planning and distribution of drugs. The results showed that at the planning stage of drug needs, the selection was based on the disease most suffered by patients who visited the Puskesmas and referred to DOEN and FORNAS. Drug needs data were collected from all network services at the Puskesmas and calculated using the morbidity/epidemiology method. The research also found problems related to excesses and expired drugs. The problems resulted from the discrepancy between the types of drugs received and the drug requests submitted by the Puskesmas. The Ndetundora Public Health Center and the parties involved need to evaluate and find solutions to the problems in planning and distributing drugs that result in expired and excess drugs.

Abstract

Drug logistics management in the hospital consists of the stages of selection, planning, procurement, acceptance, storage, distribution, destruction, and control, and administration, which must be well-coordinated to function. This study was to determine the description of drug logistics management in the Pharmacy Installation of Waibakul Hospital, Central Sumba Regency. The method used in this research was qualitative. Data were collected by interviews. The results of the study explained that the management of drug logistics at the Waibakul Hospital Pharmacy Installation was already running according to Pharmaceutical Service Standards in Hospitals in Permenkes No.72 of 2016, but it was ineffective as obstacles were identified in each management stage. Constraints in planning were insufficient budget, frequent changes of doctors, and the ineffective use of consumption methods. In procurement, the budget was still lacking, procurement team was not from the hospital and the issue of internet networks in Waibakul Regional Hospital. In admissions, lack of human resources, and drug arrival time over the office hours, lack of infrastructure supporting drug storage such as cabinets, refrigerators, AC, pallets, trolleys, and printers, and medicine warehouse. The study also found the lack of human resources in pharmaceutical warehouses and drug distribution. In the extermination stage, no room was available for storing expired drugs and damaged drugs, and the time for drug culling was longer leading to an accumulation of medical waste.
