Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari laporan penelitian kolaborasi model assurance-relevance-interest-assessment-satisfactiondengan Think-Talk-Write untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan penalaran kreatif matematik serta motivasi berprestasi siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain kelompok kontrol pretes-postes yang bertujuan untuk menelaah peranan kolaborasi model assurance-relevance-interest-assessment-satisfaction(ARIAS) dengan Think Talk Write(TTW) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematik dan motivasi berprestasi siswa SMP. Populasidalampenelitianini adalahseluruhsiswaSMPdi Carenang,dan secarapurposifsampelnyadipilih siswakelasVII darisalahsatuSMPdiCarenang dandipilihdua kelasVIIsecara acakdari kelasVIIyangada. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, disimpulkan: 1) peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematik siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran kolaborasi model ARIAS dengan TTW lebih baik daripada yang memperoleh pembelajaran biasa;2) motivasi berprestasi siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran kolaborasi model ARIAS dengan TTWlebih baik dari pada yang memperoleh pembelajaran biasa; dan 3) terdapat asosiasi antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematik siswa.

Abstract

The implementation of our education to date still faces a big challenge, especially in terms of access to education for all those who have not been fair, the uneven quality of education, the allocation of budgets and the seriousness of local government in improving the quality of education that is still frail. Therefore, it is significant to reform for providing qualified, accessible, and affordable schools for all including for communities in leading, outer and retarded areas.This research aims to find out how to reform Indonesia's schoolsin dealing with public education of the outer most regional communities? To achieve this goal, researcher uses study research method or library studies which contain theories relevant to research problems. By using this method, an assessment of concepts and theories is used based on the available literature.The results of the library studies state that Indonesia's schools reforms in dealing with public education of the outer most regional communities by expanding access and improving the quality of education through several ways. First, the increase in the capacity of educational institutions. Second, the improvement of education equality through increased effectiveness of affirmative policy, as well as the provision of special scholarships for the poor and the implementation of quality distance education. Third, the provision of operational costs to improve the effectiveness of education. The policy carried out by the Ministry of Education and Culture in order to accelerate development in the 3T areas (leading, outer and retarded areas) is an advanced program together to educate Indonesia. This program includes An Integrated Teacher Professional Education program with Additional Authority (PPGT or Integrated Teacher Education Program), Bachelor's Program of Educating in 3T areas (leading, outer and retarded areas) or people also call as SM3T (Bachelor's Degree in Leading, Outer, and Disadvantaged Areas), Frontline Teachers (GGD), Regional Development Program, and Collaborative Integrated Teacher Professional Education (Integrated Teacher Education Program Collaboration).In conclusion, Indonesia's education reforms in dealing with the education of the outer most local communities are to expand access and improve the quality of education with advanced program policies together to educate Indonesia which includes Integrated Teacher Professional Education program with Additional Authority (PPGT), Bachelor Program of Educating 3T areas (leading, outer and retarded areas)or (SM3T), Front Line Teacher (GGD), Regional Development Program, and Collaborative Integrated Teacher Professional Education (Integrated Teacher Education Program Collaboration).

Abstract

One of the graduation standards for vocational high school students is implementing a competency test of expertise (UKK). The competency test of expertise aims to find out the level of competence of students, namely competent or incompetent. This skill competency test was followed by students and students of class XII majoring in Office Governance Automation, 17 people. UKK implementation during the Covid-19 pandemic was carried out offline for one day on Sunday, March 20, 2022. The method used in Abdimas activities is as an external examiner, an assessor to provide an assessment of UKK results that students of SMK Muhammadiyah Pontang have done. The results of the UKK implementation showed that 15 students had competent criteria with a score range of 80-90, and 2 students had fairly competent criteria with a score range of 70-79. The conclusion is that the competency criteria of prospective graduates of SMK Muhammadiyah Pontang have met the minimum requirements of competencies that the government has determined

Abstract

Abstract. In today's advanced technological era, the online-based flipped classroom learning model can overcome online learning problems while improving students' mathematical writing skills and interest in learning. The study aims to improve students' mathematical writing skills and interest in learning with an online-based flipped classroom learning model. The type of research is classroom action research (PTK) with a postest only one group design. The research subjects were 38 students majoring in mathematics education at Bina Bangsa University for the 2019-2020 academic year in the even semester. There are four stages of PTK which are carried out in several cycles, namely the planning stage, implementing actions, observation, and reflection. From the results of this study, it was concluded that the online-based flipped classroom model is effective in improving students' mathematical writing skills. Furthermore, it is concluded that students' learning experiences after being given learning with an online-based flipped classroom model, the majority of which are classified as high. Abstrak. Di era teknologi yang semakin maju saat ini, model pembelajaran flipped classrom berbasis online dapat mengatasi permasalahan pembelajaran online sekaligus meningkatkan kemampuan menulis matematis dan minat belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis matematis dan minat belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran flipped classroom berbasis online. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan desain postest only one group design. Subyek penelitian adalah 38 mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan matematika Universitas Bina Bangsa tahun ajaran 2019-2020 semester genap. Ada empat tahapan PTK yang dilakukan dalam beberapa siklus, yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Dari hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa model flipped classroom berbasis online efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis matematis siswa. Selanjutnya disimpulkan bahwa pengalaman belajar siswa setelah diberikan pembelajaran dengan model flipped classroom berbasis online mayoritas tergolong tinggi.

Abstract

Writing an article from the results of the study may be something difficult for those who are not familiar with it. As a teacher or educator, it is appropriate to have the ability to write scientific articles so that students have a model for school academic life. The low productivity of teachers in writing scientific publications is a problem related to professionalism. Likewise, teachers who teach in schools in Ciherang village, Gunung Sari district, still do not participate in research activities, rarely conduct research in their fields, and lack understanding of articles and scientific publications. Based on these problems, the community service team of Bina Bangsa University carried out training on writing scientific articles. The implementation method has two stages, namely the preparation stage and the training implementation stage. 19 teacher participants attended the training. After the training, the teacher's insight and knowledge about writing scientific articles increases and the teacher can improve his professionalism

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has made face-to-face learning abolished and substituted by online learners, causing the value of mathematical learning performance to fall. It is possible that mathematical problem-solving skills and learning independence are variables that a ffect the reduction in learning achievement in mathematics. This study aimed to examine the effect of partial and simultaneous mathematical problem-solving ability and independent learning on mathematics learning achievement. This study was carried out at SMP N 1 Purwokerto, with the population was class IX SMP N 1 Purwokerto, the sample selected by cluster random sampling was class IX H SMP N 1 Purwokerto. A quantitative study using the ex-post-facto method was used in this study. Tests, surveys, and score documents were used to collect data. Validity and reliability assessments were completed on the tests and surveys. A precondition test, such as a normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and linearity test, was performed on the questionnaire test results. After that, a multiple linear regression model and test the hypothesis were formed using coefficients of determination, partial test, and simultaneous test methods. Y=49,280+0,107X1+0,378X2 was the linear regression model formed. According to the findings, mathematical problem-solving skills showed a significant effect on the learning achievement of 10.7%. Learning autonomy had a 37.8% positive effect on learning achievement. Simultaneously, the ability to solve mathematical problems and autonomous learning had a 70.7% significant effect on learning achievement

Abstract

This study aims to produce a mathematics learning module based on Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) that meets the aspects of validity and practicality and effectively improves students' mathematical connection skills. This study uses a 4D development model that has been modified into three stages; define, design, and develop. The trial was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Cilongok with 11 students in class VIII E. The results showed that the developed mathematics learning module was valid by obtaining an average score of 4.3. The teacher's response showed an average score of 4.2 and 3,9 which means that the practical mathematics module is used in the teaching and learning process. The results of the effectiveness are carried out through the results of the pretest and posttest. The test was carried out through the N-Gain trial and obtained an average score of 0.5731, which was interpreted as average

Abstract

This study aims to describe the mathematical communication skills of class VII students in terms of students' perceptions of mathematics in class VII statistics material. The data sources of this research were students of class VII C of SMP Negeri 1 Sumbang. Respondents in this study were taken by purposive sampling method. Students are categorized into three categories, namely high, medium, and low perceptions of mathematics. The method used for data collection in this study was a questionnaire on students' perceptions of mathematics, mathematical communication skills tests, and interviews. Based on the results of research that has been done, it can be concluded that students who have a good perception of mathematics are able to meet the three indicators of mathematical communication skills, students who have an ordinary perception of mathematics are quite capable of meeting the three indicators of mathematical communication skills and students who have poor perceptions towards mathematics tend not to be able to meet the indicators of mathematical communication skills

Abstract

This study aims to develop Augmented Reality (AR) learning media to improve the mathematical spatial ability of junior high school students on geometry material. The method used is research and development (R&D). The learning media developed in this research is Augmented Reality, called Virtual Geometry. The research instrument consisted of a validation sheet, an observation sheet, and a spatial ability test. Data collection techniques used are unstructured interviews and observations. Data analysis techniques in this study include validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The results showed that Augmented Reality-based Virtual Geometry learning media met the valid and practical aspects. The media is effective in increasing spatial ability

Abstract

The initial stage carried out by TIM Pengabdi students was to ask permission from the village office and stay in touch with the head of the Luwuk village for us to serve in the community and carry out activities in the village, then we looked for a place/post for us (TIM Pengabdi) to rest for more than a month and After that, we stay in touch with Mr. RT/RW, youths, villagers and village children in the village to carry out work programs that we make, one of which is in the field of education and skills, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, all learning is done online. good for PAUD/TK, SD, SMP, SMA/SMK levels, Even in lectures, you can learn online via whatsapp group, zoom, google meet, google classroom and many other online applications coupled with programs made by the government to reduce the spread of Covid-19 with the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) not only adults who feel bored/tired of the rules but the children in Luwuk village feel the same way because while at home for that, TIM Pengabdi does a work program, one of which is the work made by the children of Luwuk village by going offline/doing activities at the command post while still following health protocols ( keeping a distance, using masks and washing hands) both in learning English and in doing handicrafts made of flannel. Straws, cardboard, origami paper, etc. With this program of activities to increase creativity, innovation, thinking patterns / development of creative ideas, increase knowledge / insight in international languages, eliminate boredom by making works and increase intelligence for children in Luwuk village
