Abstract

One of the essential cognitive aspects of learning mathematics is the ability to understand concepts. This study describes the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts based on brain dominance. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were high school students. The instruments used were tests, questionnaires, and interview guidelines. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that students left brain dominant student has excellent mathematical concepts understanding ability, provide clear and detailed information, provide examples with different shapes or arrangements, use symbols other than numbers, and they are confident that they understand the concepts. Meanwhile, right-brain dominant students have a relatively good mathematical concepts understanding ability, tend to convey information randomly using their language, provide examples with similar shapes or arrangements, and must be more sure that they understand the concept

Abstract

This PKM is in the form of training and mentoring. The series of activities begins with giving invitation letters to the surrounding residents. Training activities consist of 2 places, namely in the first place is a special training of mothers or women and the second place is assistance for fathers or youths. The number of participants who participated in this construction was as many as 18. The type of software used is WordPress which is accessed online through http://id.wordpress.com. All participants are very enthusiastic about participating in activities. From the questionnaire achieved, there were as many as 70% of participants successfully participated in activities without any obstacles, as many as 20% could follow the activity with a little help and guidance; lastly, as many as 10% of participants had difficulty participating in training caused by not having or carrying laptop facilities

Abstract

Luwuk Village is a village located in Gunungsari district, Serang regency. Where in the village there is very little knowledge to equip themselves to avoid dangerous viruses, where in every house there are still many residents who do not provide masks and equipment to do 5M in the form of preventing the covid 19 virus, therefore we as active students of KKM group 26 universirtas bina bangsa, conduct counseling and socialization to intensify the spread of covid 19 in the village. Currently, we are still facing challenges that require adapting to the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic situation. Corona Virus Disease-19 is a virus that attacks the respiratory system and can cause mild disorders of the respiratory system, severe lung infections, and even death. Covid-19 can be transmitted from human to human through droplets from patients who sneeze or cough and close contact with sufferers or contact with contaminated surfaces and objects. Covid-19 enters the body through the eyes, nose, and mouth through hands contaminated with the virus. From there, we have held the distribution of masks and hand sanitizers to anticipate the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the community has an important role in breaking the chain of transmission of COVID-19 so as not to cause new sources of transmission / clusters in places where there is movement of people, interaction between people and gathering of many people. People must be able to resume their activities in the COVID-19 pandemic situation by adapting to new habits that are healthier, cleaner, and more obedient, which are implemented by all components in the community and empower all existing resources. The role of the community to be able to break the chain of transmission of COVID-19 (risk of contracting and transmitting) must be carried out by implementing health protocols through individual health protection and public health protection

Abstract

A birth certificate is a civil registration certificate resulting from recording the event of a person's birth, in another sense a birth certificate is a form of identity of every child who is an inseparable part of the civil and political rights of citizens. The right to identity is a form of state recognition of one's existence before the law. Birth Certificate is also very influential to be recognized by the State regarding a person's nationality. But unfortunately in Indonesia today there are still children whose identities are not or have not been recorded on the birth certificate, so that de jure their existence is considered non-existent by the state. This causes children to be born without their name, genealogy and nationality recorded and unprotected. With the undocumented identity of a child causing a higher risk of child exploitation, children can become victims of human trafficking, experience violence, or violate labor regulations and worldwide, Indonesia is one of the countries with poor birth registration coverage

Abstract

Community service is one of the important commitments made by diversity in the context of blending into society. The existence of academics in rural community development is also a benchmark for the existence of universities in establishing cooperation with rural communities. One form of PKM that is carried out is to build villages by assisting villages in the distribution of Direct Cash Assistance. Through the method of meeting to homes, PKM focuses on the important role of maintaining food security at the government and community levels. Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pencapaian pengetahuan dan kompeten siswa SMK Muhammadiyah Pontang bidang Otomatisasi Tata Kelola Perkantoran dan sebagai dasar mempersiapkan siswa untuk memasuki dunia kerja. Kegiatan dilaksanakan 1 hari diikuti sebanyak 18 siswa kelas XII untuk program studi otomatisasi tata kelola perkantoran. Metode yang digunakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu sebagai asesor atau penguji eksternal dimana penguji memberikan penilaian atas hasil Uji Kompetensi Keahlian (UKK) yang telah dilaksanakan oleh siswa. UKK dilaksanakan dengan 3 tahap yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Hasil uji kompetensi siswa menunjukkan 17 siswa memiliki kriteria Kompeten dan 1 siswa memiliki kriteria Cukup Kompeten.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh pelaku UMKM, Banten terkait dengan kemampuan inovasi wirausaha yang perlu ditumbuhkembangkan kepada para wirausaha. Oleh karena itu, penting dilakukan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini guna memecahkan masalah tersebut. Target dari pengabdian ini adalah memberikan solusi melalui inovasi produk dan juga pemasaran berbasis digital. Tujuan dengan adanya program ini adalah memberikan pemahaman tentang kemampuan berwirausaha kepada para Technopreneur UMKM, mengedukasi dalam memanfaatkan peluang yang ada dengan penggunaan teknologi digital yang berkembang pesat saat ini agar mampu meningkatkan omset, inovatif, dan mandiri dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital internet yang semakin berkembang pada era revolusi industri 4.0 era society 5.0. Ke depannya dengan pelatihan serupa hendaknya dapat memberikan kemajuan yang pesat pada UMKM khususnya pada Pelaku UMKM Provinsi Banten dan produk-produk yang dihasilkan lebih beragam dan diminati oleh berbagai kalangan konsumen.

Abstract

Using the problem-based instruction learning model, this study aims to increase personal resilience and student achievement. The subjects of this study were 32 class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Banyumas. This type of research is a class action consisting of three cycles. At the end of each cycle, an assessment is made regarding teacher activity, student activity, student personal resilience, and learning achievement—data collection techniques comprised of teacher and student activity observation sheets, individual resilience questionnaires, and tests. The results showed that using problem-based instruction, personal resilience, and student learning achievement were proven to increase. This can be seen from the quantitative data for each cycle

Abstract

Mathematical literacy is an individual's ability to use mathematical knowledge to solve everyday problems.  This study aims to describe the mathematical literacy ability of junior high school students viewed from intrapersonal intelligence.  This research is a qualitative descriptive study with the subject of SMP Negeri 2 Jatinegara students. The purposive sampling technique was employed in the sampling process. Intrapersonal intelligence questionnaires, mathematical literacy tests, and interviews were used to collect data. The questionnaire was used to classify high, medium, and low intrapersonal intelligence students. Tests and interviews were used to describe mathematical literacy skills. The results showed that students with high intrapersonal intelligence had mastered 4 indicators of mathematical literacy: identifying aspects of the problem, turning the problem into an appropriate mathematical image, applying mathematical models to find solutions to problems, and interpreting mathematical solutions/results. Students with medium intrapersonal intelligence had mastered 3 indicators of mathematical literacy: identifying aspects of the problem, turning the problem into an appropriate mathematical image, and interpreting the solution/mathematical result. Students with low intrapersonal intelligence had mastered one indicator of mathematical literacy ability: identifying aspects of the problem

Abstract

This activity is carried out to make an understanding of learning by providing socialization or explanation and motivation about how important education is in the family, as well as awaken the potential from within children about how to motivate adolescents to continue higher education. It is hoped that a good level of education can improve the quality of human resources so that development can run well. The method of implementing this activity is by providing socialization of understanding that contains motivation to the community in the Baduy Tribe Environment. The results of this activity are expected to increase parents' understanding that education is very important so that children can be motivated to continue their studies and increase human resources in the environment
