Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi integrasi antara konsep Geometri dan perhitungan arah Kiblat dalam pembelajaran matematika berbasis nilai-nilai Islam di madrasah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kajian pustaka kualitatif-analitis untuk memetakan konsep-konsep matematis yang mendasari Ilmu Falak, khususnya Geometri Bola dan Trigonometri Bola. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan Model Integrasi Matematis-Religius (IMR) yang terdiri dari tiga tahap: 1) Kontekstualisasi Nilai (memahami dalil Kiblat), 2) Eksplorasi Konsep Matematis (mempelajari Segitiga Bola dan koordinat), dan 3) Implementasi Proyek Aplikatif ("Hitung dan Ukur Kiblat Madrasah"). Model ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi sifat abstrak materi Geometri dan meningkatkan relevansi matematika dalam praktik ibadah. Implementasi model IMR membutuhkan modifikasi kurikulum dan pengembangan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis proyek. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual, kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan kesadaran spiritual siswa dalam konteks keislaman.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the problem identified in Grade VIII of SMP Negeri 2 2x11 Kayutanam, namely the low level of students’ mathematical conceptual understanding. This issue was attributed to teacher-centered instructional practices and the limited variation in teaching models implemented in the classroom. One proposed solution to address this problem was the application of a cooperative learning model, namely Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC). The objective of this study was to determine whether students’ mathematical conceptual understanding taught using the CIRC model was better than that of students taught through conventional instruction in Grade VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Kayutanam. This research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design using the Static Group Comparison Design, in which data were analyzed using inferential statistics to examine differences in mathematical conceptual understanding between the experimental and control groups. The population of this study consisted of all Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Kayutanam. The sample included Class VIII.1 as the experimental group and Class VIII.3 as the control group. The research instrument used was an essay test designed to measure students’ mathematical conceptual understanding. Based on data analysis using the t-test, it can be concluded that students’ mathematical conceptual understanding taught through the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model was better than that of students taught through conventional learning in Grade VIII of SMP Negeri 2 2x11 Kayutanam.”

Abstract

This study aims to determine the activity and motivation of students learning mathematics using the Think Pair Square cooperative learning model is better than conventional learning. This type of research is an experiment with a research design namely The Static Group Comparison Design. The population in this study were all students, where there are 10 classes with a total of 318 students. Sampling was done randomly first conducted a normality test and homogeneity test on the population data. The sample in this study was class VIII. I as the experimental class and VIII. J as the control class. The instruments used were a mathematics learning motivation questionnaire and a learning activity observation sheet. The results of the activity observation sheet were analyzed using the percentage of activity, after calculating the activity score, an overall average of 82.3% was obtained with active criteria. Meanwhile, the results of the calculation of the data analysis of the students' mathematics learning motivation questionnaire at the real level using the t-test, obtained t count 2.033400708 and t table 1.998971517 where t count > t table. Meanwhile, using SPSS, sig = 0.034 is obtained, meaning significant <a with a real level, based on these results, accept H1 and reject H0. So, it can be concluded that students' mathematics learning activities and motivation using the Think Pair Square type of cooperative learning model are better than conventional learning.

Abstract

This paper is intended to analyze the presence of Islamic education in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0. The researchers used the Library Research in this paper. Data collection was carried out by reviewing and examining printed and electronic books, journals, and documents as data sources and other relevant information. Islamic education as an Islamic-based educational institution needs to take a range of steps and approaches to preserve its presence in the 4.0 period of the Industrial Revolution, so as not to fall into various competitions. Based on the analysis, there are several strategies that must be followed by Islamic education to sustain its existence, namely: designing innovative Islamic education, reforming and renewal Islamic education, enhancing capabilities in technology and literacy, and the concept of integration and interconnection of Islamic education

Abstract

Background: Low Birth Weight (LBW) is a public health problem, both short-term and long-term, and remains a leading cause of perinatal morbidity and mortality. The incidence of LBW at the Amuntai Selatan Community Health Center in 2024 was 9.52%. Factors directly influencing the incidence of LBW are poor nutritional status during pregnancy, or Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED), and anemia during pregnancy. Objective: To find out the correlations between CED and anemia with the incidence of LBW at the South Amuntai Health Center. Method: This study used an observational analytical design with a case-control approach. The sampling technique used simple random sampling with a ratio of 40 cases:80 controls. The independent variable was the incidence of low birth weight (LBW), and the dependent variables were CED and anemia. Data collection used secondary data. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test. Result: A total of 40 mothers (33.3%) gave birth and experienced low birth weight (LBW). A total of 25 mothers (20.8%) experienced chronic energy deficiency (CED). A total of 13 mothers (10.8%) experienced anemia. There was a correlation between CED (P-value 0.026, OR 2,728) and anemia (P-value 0.022, OR 3,750) with the incidence of LBW at the Amuntai Selatan Community Health Center. Conclusion: It is important for mothers to undergo regular checkups during pregnancy and maintain their nutritional status by consuming a varied diet and regularly taking iron supplements.

Abstract

Background: The government has developed strategies and policies in the form of health improvement programs to reduce maternal mortality, including improving antenatal care (ANC) services. Data from the Amuntai Selatan Community Health Center (UPT Puskesmas) in 2024 showed that ANC coverage for K4 reached 77.43%, still below the Strategic Plan target of 86%. Health service utilization is influenced by several factors, such as knowledge, family support, and parity. Objective: To find out the factors related to ANC visits (K4) in the work area of the South Amuntai Health Center. Method: This study was designed as a cross-sectional analytical observational study. The sampling technique used total sampling with a sample size of 32 participants. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. Result: A total of 11 pregnant women (34.4%) had incomplete ANC (K4) visits. A total of 9 pregnant women (28.1%) had insufficient maternal knowledge. A total of 9 pregnant women (28.1%) did not receive family support. A total of 13 pregnant women (40.6%) had high-risk maternal parity. There was a correlations between maternal knowledge (P-value 0.032), family support (P-value 0.016), and maternal parity (P-value 0.007) with ANC (K4) visits in the working area of the Amuntai Selatan Community Health Center. Pregnant women are expected to pay more attention to their pregnancies by attending ANC visits regularly and completely to detect and prevent pregnancy complications.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas X MAN 2 Bukittinggi. Hasil observasi dan wawancara diperoleh bahwa pembelajaran yang masih monoton dan cenderung pasif dan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang belum memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh signifikan penggunaan media kahoot dalam pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa?. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian posttest-only control group design, dengan populasi 251 orang dan sampel 72 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Instrument yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar matematika siswa. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa penggunaan media kahoot berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar dengan yaitu 1,67. Data diolah menggunakan software minitab diperoleh pada taraf nyata , dimana . Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Terdapat pengaruh signifikan penggunakan media kahoot dalam pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas X MAN 2 Bukittinggi.
