Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara menumbuhkan minat membaca buku-buku perpustakaan pada siswa di kelas V sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini Best Pratices dengan pendekatan Qualitatif. Informan penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar 186/1 Sridadi, Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar Observasi, wawancara dan Dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa minat membaca siswa kelas V SDN 186/1 pada buku-buku perpustakaan tergolong tinggi. Untuk mengetahui minat membaca siswa tergolong tinggi atau rendah dapat kita lihat dari frekuensi dan kuantitas membaca serta kuantitas sumber bacaan menjelaskan bahwa jika minat seseorang tergolong tinggi maka orang tersebut akan selalu sering kali melakukan kegiatan membaca dan orang tersebut akan berusaha mencari sumber bacaan yang bervariatif. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam menumbuhkan minat membaca siswa kelas V SDN 186/1 sridadi siswa-siswa diberikan perlakuan-perlakuan khusus agar minat membaca siswa tumbuh dan adapu perlakuan-perlakuan yang diberikan kepada siswa yaitu, 5 menit sebelum melakukan kegiatan belajar mengajar siswa di wajibkan untuk membaca, memberika hadiah (reward) berupa buku kepada siswa yang rajin mengunjungi perpustakaan, dan kemudian jadikan membaca sebagai kegiatan setiap hari. The purpose of this study is to describe the views of teachers on aspects of attitude assessment and aspects of skills assessment which after the implementation of Permen No 53 Year 2015 is very well looked at by teachers from the old regulations. The research method is qualitative descriptive research. This research was conducted at SDN 55/1 Sridadi, class I of the 2016 school year, namely in 2 first-class guardian teachers. Data obtained from the results of questionnaires, and semi-structured interviews. The results of the study describe the views of teachers on aspects of attitude assessment and aspects of skills assessment which after the implementation of Regulation No. 53 of 2015 was very well looked at by the teacher from the old regulations. The results of interviews in a structured way are obtained by the opinion of the teacher agreeing / good towards the new revision and the overall results of the distribution of the teacher questionnaire are already in a very good stage of understanding. So the teacher's perception of the new assessment system is good because the teacher can easily understand the implementation and implementation of the 2013 Curriculum with the issuance of Permen No 53 year 205, but the teacher still has problems in processing student grades which are considered complicated. Therefore, further training needs to be done so that the teacher's understanding of the assessment in the 2013 curriculum gets better.

This portfolio assessment has been widely applied in primary schools in Indonesia. In practice portfolio assessment has been widely used for the teacher certification process. This study aims to describe the implementation of portfolio assessment and describe the results of the implementation of portfolio assessment in elementary schools. The approach in this study uses a qualitative approach. While the type of research used in this study is the basic theory. This research was carried out at Muara Bulian 80 / I Elementary School, Batang Hari Regency, Jambi Province. Data collection techniques used are non-participant observation, interviews, and documentation. Researchers use the Miles and Hubermen model to analyze existing data. The model is to carry out the stages that begin with collecting data, reducing, displaying data, and verifying or drawing final conclusions. This research was conducted in the even semester of the Academic Year 2017/2018. From the results of the study concluded that portfolio assessment which includes content, assessment criteria and forms of presentation of student portfolios developed by teachers include, daily tests, book reading reports, self-assessment sheets, inter-theme assessment sheets, and for class 1 also included books homework, practice books, dictation assignments and coloring

This research aimed to explain the model of writen conversationin the social media era, such presence of WhatsApp (WA) as well as to explore some of the positive contributions of WA used in building the Real Life Communication. By applying the Exploratory design, this research involved 4 participants as a purposively selected data source with indicators as WA users. Data were collected through Focus Group Discussion, Interview, and Observation and analyzed by several stages i.e. data reduction, displaying data, categorizing, and verifying and concluding. The results showed that Indonesia writen conversationcan decrease as the dominant use of WA was not wise. Nevertheless, the use of WA applications also had some positive contributions in building a real relationship. Finally, the assumption that the negative impact of using the WA application should be able to change the mindset and positive attitude in initiating and defending an oral interaction.

The purpose of this study is to describea how the teacher's perception of the application of Edmodo as a tool for learning activities in Al-Falah Islamic Elementary School Jambi. This research is a study that uses a qualitative approach to the type of phenomenological research. Researchers chose a qualitative approach to the type of phenomenological research because researchers wanted to examine according to phenomena related to teacher perceptions of the application of edmodo as a learning aid in the Al-Falah Islamic Elementary School in Jambi. The informants of this study were nine Al-Falah Jambi Islamic elementary school teachers. Researchers took the "purposive sampling" sampling technique by assigning informants with special characteristics, namely teachers who knew and had used the Edmodo application as a medium or a tool in learning in the network. Data collection techniques used by researchers are questionnaires and interviews. The researcher chose technique triangulation as a test of the validity of the data. By using triangulation techniques, the researchers re-check the data from the same source with different techniques to conduct data analysis. The data obtained were analyzed using the Miles Huberman interactive model which included: data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this study indicate that the perception of teachers has a percentage of 84.86% and can be categorized as perceptions that strongly agree with the application of Edmodo as a tool for learning activities in primary schools. The teachers felt helped in the learning process using the edmodo application. With the diversity of features found in the Edmodo application, teachers can use it in online learning. The steps of learning to use the edmodo application have not been eliminated or even almost refined so that the teacher feels that the edmodo application is specifically designed for learning in the network. Just as in direct learning there are materials that can be read in the library, assignments, quizzes, correcting students' assignments and even awards given to students. The teacher is also more free because it can be done anytime and anywhere. Teachers' perceptions of the application of Edmodo regarding the constraints are only few namely regarding the programming language. As for the speed of access because online learning all depends on the network, if the network is good the learning will run smoothly. Comfort in learning using the Edmodo application is also felt by the teachers. The teachers have a desire to continue to access Edmodo as a tool for learning activities by adjusting to the needs and learning materials.

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana kemampuan guru dalammelaksanakan pembelajaran Higher Order Thinking Skills di SDN No.55/I Sridadi. Penelitian ini merupakanpenelitian kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil temuandilapangan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif,subjek dari penelitian adalah guru kelas III dan guru kelas V sekolah dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data padapenelitian adalah dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara serta didukung dengan adanya dokumentasipelaksanaan pembelajaran Higher Order Thinking Skills. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN No.55/I Sridadi.Pada penelitian ini uji validitas data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa kemampuan guru melaksanakan pembelajaran Higher Order Thinking Skills di SDN No.55/I Sridadisudah cukup baik, mulai dari perencanaan pembelajaran yang dirancang guru yang telah memuat unsurHigher Order Thinking Skills hingga pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dimulai dari tahap analisis (C4), evaluasi(C5) dan mencipta (C6) berdasarkan hasil penelitian guru sudah mampu melaksanakan pembelajaran HigherOrder Thinking Skills dengan cukup baik

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran matematika, dan hal apa yang menjadi perhatian guru dalam menentukan strategi pembelajaran tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Kegiatan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru kelas V. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran matematika, terlebih dahulu dilakukan dengan merancang strategi pembelajaran yang akan diterapkan dalam pelaksanaan. Pada kegiatan pelaksanaan pembelajaran, guru menjalankan perencanaan yang telah dibuat dengan baik, selain itu terdapat beberapa strategi pembelajaran yang terjadi secara spontan di luar perencanaan. Sedangkan dalam evaluasi strategi pembelajaran, guru melakukan penilian dengan memberikan tes kepada peserta didik di akhir kegiatan pembelajaran. Dalam menentukan startegi tersebut guru memperhatikan karateristik peserta didik dan alokasi waktu yang dibutuhkan. Pada proses pembelajaran, terlihat bahwa peserta didik sangat berantusias untuk mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran serta hasil belajar yang diperoleh peserta didik juga cukup baik sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai.

Children with hearing impairment are children with hearing loss who are classified into deaf and hard of hearing. The direct impact of disability is the obstruction of verbal / verbal communication, both speaking (expressive) and understanding the conversations of others (receptive). Obtaining the first language of a deaf child can be done with total communication. Total communication is the most effective communication system because in addition to using a form of communication orally or called oral, the activity of reading, writing, reading utterances, is also equipped with a form of cues. The purpose of this study was to determine the acquisition of language of children with special needs (deaf) in understanding language. Subjects in this study are children with special needs who experience speech impairment (hearing impairment) while the object of this study is focused on only one child, Mila Erdita, a 15-year-old child. This research refers to case studies with descriptive research type. Data collection techniques in this study will be done in three ways, namely; observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation techniques. In this research, data processing that will be done is to describe the speech data of deaf children to see the acquisition of children's vocabulary. The results of this study indicate that deaf children can obtain a language of total communication using a form of communication orally or called oral, with the activities of reading, writing, reading utterances, also equipped with signs

Berbahasa diperlukan kemampuan mengeluarkan kata-kata, ini berarti daerah Broca dan Wernicke harus berfungsi dengan baik. Kerusakan pada daerah tersebut dan sekitarnya menyebabkan terjadinya gangguan berbahasa yang disebut Afasia. Dalam berkomunikasi terdapat suatu proses yang harus dilakukan oleh individu yakni proses memproduksi ujaran. Untuk berkomunikasi seorang individu membutuhkan mental, proses mental ini yaitu pertama berkaitan dengan asumsi individu tentang pengetahuan interlokutor dan kedua adalah kooperatif. Tujuan proses produksi ujaran adalah untuk menghasilkan seperangkat bunyi yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan gagasan kepada orang lain. Proses Berbahasa yaitu proses produktif berlangsung pada diri pembicara yang menghasilkan kode-kode bahasa yang bermakna dan proses reseptif berlangsung pada diri pendengar yang menerima kode-kode bahasa yang bermakna.Â
