Abstract

Adolescent girls will lose blood which can cause a decrease in hemoglobin levels during menstruation. The function of iron is needed by the body to produce blood. Consumption of foods containing vitamin C plays a role in accelerating the absorption of iron so that it can increase hemoglobin levels during menstruation. Red guava (Psidium guajava l.) has a high vitamin C content of 87 mg/100 grams. This study aims to determine the effect of giving red guava juice on hemoglobin levels during menstruation in adolescent girls at Lirboyo Al-Mahrusiyyah Islamic Boarding School's female dormitory, Kediri, East Java. This research is a true experiment with a randomized pretest-posttest control group design with a sampling technique using simple random sampling. The samples were divided into 4 groups, namely 1 control group (no treatment), and 3 treatment groups with 200 mL/person/day of red guava juice, 250 mL/person/day), and 300 mL/person/day of guava juice. given for 5 days of menstruation. Hemoglobin levels were measured using the Ouik-Check Hemoglobin testing system. The results of the study stated that there was an effect of red guava juice on hemoglobin levels during menstruation (p=0.000). The results of the Tukey HSD test proved that there were differences in hemoglobin levels between groups, namely for the control group with P1 (p=0.004), the control group with P2 (p=0.000), the control group with P3 (p=0.000), P1 and P2 (p = 0.000), and P1 with P3 (p = 0.000). So it can be concluded that giving red guava juice can affect hemoglobin levels during menstruation in adolescent girls.

Abstract

This study explores the dynamics and consequences of the virtualization of legal cases on social media and its impact on law enforcement, such as rape cases. By analyzing both the positive and negative aspects of this viral nature, the research offers an in-depth construction of legal supremacy regarding how social media influences transparency, speed, and public participation in the enforcement of rape laws. A qualitative research methodology is employed, involving an extensive literature review from various sources, including books, scientific journals, and websites discussing rape cases. The research identifies that the virtualization of legal cases like rape allows the public to influence the outcomes of legal processes, marking a shift in the power dynamics between legal institutions and the community. However, this phenomenon also has drawbacks, including public opinion trials often based on biased and incomplete information, which disrupt investigations and tarnish reputations before justice is pretty achieved. Therefore, a balanced strategy is necessary to use social media as a sustainable legal empowerment tool without sacrificing the integrity of justice. The study also faces limitations that could be explored further by future researchers, such as reliance on secondary data and focusing on a specific case, which may not reflect the general dynamics of virtualization. Moreover, based on the research findings, it suggests the development of policies to enhance transparency and accountability and digital literacy programs to educate the public on critically evaluating information from social media regarding cases like rape.

Abstract

Abstract

The capital market is one of the important indicators in a country's economy, which reflects the dynamics of the relationship between investors, companies, and market conditions. In the Efficient Market Hypothesis (EMH) theory, stock prices are said to reflect all available information efficiently. Thus, there is no opportunity for investors to consistently generate abnormal returns, namely profits that exceed market expectations based on the risks taken. However, in practice, various market anomalies and financial behavior often show deviations from the basic assumptions of the EMH. This study aims to analyze the effect of various market anomalies such as the January Effect, Ramadhan Effect, Election Days Effect, Pandemic Covid Effect, and financial behavior on abnormal returns in the Efficient Market Hypothesis using the system literature review research method. The results of the study show that the January Effect, Ramadhan Effect, Election Days Effect, Pandemic Covid Effect have a negative effect on abnormal returns in the Efficient Market Hypothesis. Financial behavior such as herding behavior shows that there is no herding behavior in the Indonesian capital market. These results indicate that investors are rational in making investment decisions because they have good access to relevant information about stock price movements in the market.

Abstract

Rural communities in Cibodas, East Bandung, face serious challenges in aquaponic farming practices, particularly in the uneven application of conventional fertilizers. This imbalance results in suboptimal crop quality, reducing the potential for agricultural productivity in the region. To overcome this obstacle, an innovative solution is needed in the form of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based automatic liquid fertilizer irrigation system. This system is designed to distribute fertilizer evenly to all plants, ensuring that each part of the plant receives adequate nutrients, and that fertilizer is applied efficiently. The use of this system not only increases the efficiency of farmers' work, but also contributes to improving the overall quality and quantity of crop yields. The stages of activities in the implementation of this community service are the development of an automatic liquid fertilizer irrigation system based on the Internet of Things (IoT), the application or implementation of the system, and finally the socialization of the use of the system. This community service activity is a series of student community service activities carried out in October 2024. The elements involved are the community of Cibodas Village, lecturers and students of Politeknik Manufaktur Bandung. As a result of this service activity, the community understands and can apply agricultural technology, in this case IoT-based automatic liquid fertilizer spraying technology with remote control. The liquid fertilizer spraying and watering system can increase the efficiency of time and energy. It is hoped that the technology that has been developed will be one of the effective solutions to the problem of uneven spraying of plant fertilizers.
