Abstract

This study was to collect positive feedback on the Pancasila student profile enhancement project program by teachers. Teachers are more likely to understand, plan, and implement the Pancasila student profile enhancement project if they have a positive opinion of the project. However, negative opinions can complicate the implementation of the Pancasila student profile enhancement project. This study aims to investigate the perceptions of elementary school teachers towards the Pancasila student profile enhancement project in Payung Sekaki District, Pekanbaru City. The method used is quantitative research with a descriptive approach, involving 120 teacher respondents who filled out a questionnaire containing 44 statements. The results showed that teachers' perceptions of this project were classified as very good, with an overall achievement percentage score of 81.52%. The highest indicator was "Faithful, Devoted to TYME and Noble Morals" with a percentage of 86.23%, while the lowest indicator was "Creative" with a percentage of 74.17%. These findings indicate that teachers support the implementation of the Pancasila student profile enhancement project as an effort to improve character, critical thinking skills, and introduction to local culture among students. This research is expected to provide constructive feedback to improve the implementation of the program.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between sleep patterns and learning concentration of students at Elhaqqa Quranic School. This research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational method. The population and sample consisted of 20 fourth- and fifth-grade students selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires on sleep patterns and learning concentration, and analyzed using normality tests, linearity tests, Pearson correlation, and simple linear regression with SPSS 23. The findings reveal that most students had moderate levels of both sleep patterns and learning concentration. Correlation analysis showed a very strong and significant relationship between sleep patterns and learning concentration, with correlation coefficients (r) ranging from 0.943 to 0.977 (p < 0.05). The coefficient of determination indicated that sleep patterns contributed between 89% and 95.4% to variations in students’ learning concentration.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of digital-based interactive teaching materials for Arts, Culture, and Crafts (SBdP) learning in elementary schools. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research participants included three expert validators, five SBdP teachers, and students from two elementary schools. The instruments used in this study comprised expert validation sheets, teacher and student practicality questionnaires, and pre-test and post-test assessments of learning outcomes. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality testing (Kolmogorov–Smirnov), homogeneity testing (Levene’s test), a paired-sample t-test, and normalized gain (N-gain) analysis. The findings indicate that the developed interactive teaching materials are highly feasible across all assessed aspects, including content, language, graphics, didactics, construction, and technical quality. Teacher evaluations categorized the materials as very good, while students reported that they were easy to use, engaging, and helpful in improving conceptual understanding. The effectiveness test revealed a significant improvement in learning outcomes in both schools, with mean scores increasing from 45.60 to 74.70 and from 38.22 to 71.38, respectively. The hypothesis testing results showed that F_count > F_table, indicating a statistically significant difference. Furthermore, the N-gain analysis demonstrated that most students achieved a moderate level of improvement. In conclusion, the developed digital-based interactive teaching materials are valid, practical, and effective in enhancing SBdP learning outcomes in elementary schools.

Abstract

Education is a planned effort to develop students' potential optimally. However, based on the results of observations and interviews at SD Negeri 143 Pekanbaru, student learning outcomes in the subject of science are still relatively low, which is caused by the lack of student activity and the use of learning methods that are still centered on the teacher. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on the science learning outcomes of fourth grade students. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental design involving two classes, namely the experimental class using the PBL model and the control class using the expository method. Data collection was carried out through pretests and posttests, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical tests, including normality tests, homogeneity tests, independent sample t-tests, and N-Gain tests with the help of SPSS version 21. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental class was 81.00 higher than the control class at 63.50. The results of the t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which means there is a significant effect of the use of the PBL model on student learning outcomes. In addition, the N-Gain test results showed that the increase in learning outcomes in the experimental class was in the medium category (0.69), while the control class was in the low category (0.27). Thus, the Problem Based Learning model was proven to be more effective in improving students' science learning outcomes than the expository method.
