Abstract

Along with technological developments, social media applications have emerged that support the dissemination of content, either in the form of photos or videos, guidance and counseling in schools needs to take advantage of its existence as a friendly and attractive BK service media for students. TikTok and Instagram are the most popular social media among teenagers that can be used as a medium for guidance and counseling services. This quantitative research on counselors or guidance and counseling teachers in East Java aims to capture the most popular use of social media among students. The results of this study describe the opinions of counselors or guidance and counseling teachers regarding the development and use of guidance and counseling media during the pandemic and how to use social media in counseling services. The results of the study became preliminary research in improving the competence of counselors in developing social media for guidance and counseling.

Abstract

Every society dreams of true peace. To achieve true peace, humans need to start with inner peace. The importance of peace becomes one of the bases for developing a measure of peace for designing peace-building programs. This research answered the need for these measuring tools by developing and validating a peace measuring instrument called the Indonesian peace of mind scale (IPoMS). This instrument consists of seven items in two aspects: the internal state of peacefulness and harmony. This study used Rasch analysis to test the construct validity of IPoMS. The construct validity test involved 202 vocational high school students in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Data analysis using Win step software provides information about the quality of respondents and instruments, items that are easy and difficult for respondents to agree on, fit order items, and unidimensionality. The results of the application of Rasch analysis showed that IPoMS is good, precise, and have item conformity with the model. IPoMS is a reliable and valid measuring tool to measure students’ level of peace accurately. This research discussed the implications and recommendations for further research for the implementation of guidance and counseling containing the value of peace as a follow-up to the performance of IPoMS.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research and development is to produce a product in the form of a career planning application media to facilitate career planning for students at SMA Negeri 1 Lawang which is theoretically and practically acceptable in terms of feasibility, appropriateness, attractiveness, convenience and usability. Based on the validation results from experts and prospective users, the results show that the career planning application has received theoretical and practical acceptance in terms of feasibility, appropriateness, attractiveness, convenience and usability. Based on the results of the field implementation test, it was found that the career planning application was very effectively used by students to facilitate and support career planning for high school students.Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian dan pengembanagn ini adalah menghasilkan produk berupa media aplikasi perencanaan karier (Si Peka) untuk menfasilitasi perencanaan karier peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Lawang yang berterima secara teoritis dan praktis dari segi kelayakan, kepatutan, kemenarikan, kemudahan dan kebergunaan. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dari ahli dan calon pengguna, diperoleh hasil bahwa aplikasi perencanaan karier (Si Peka) mendapatkan keberterimaan secara teoritis dan praktis dari segi kelayakan, kepatutan, kemenarikan, kemudahan dan kebergunaan. Berdasarkan hasil uji pelaksanaan lapangan diperoleh bahwa aplikasi perencaan karier (Si Peka) sangat efektif digunakan peserta didik untuk memfasilitasi dan menunjang perencanaan karier peserta didik SMA.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively review the historical development and current status of research in the field of school improvement using a bibliometric analysis approach. Recognizing the vital role of schools in society and the necessity for their constant evolution, it is essential to understand the breadth and depth of scholarly efforts in school improvement. Using the Scopus index, 596 English language journal articles on school improvement published between 1916 and 2023 were identified and analyzed. Utilizing the VOSviewer software, the bibliometric analysis was conducted in two stages: descriptive statistics to understand the trend of document volumes and co-authorship countries, and a multidimensional scaling technique to visualize co-authorship, co-occurrence, and citation networks. The data revealed a consistent rise in publication volume over the years, with a peak in 2020. Despite contributions from 45 countries, the United States and the United Kingdom were the most prolific. However, author collaboration was found to be minimal, suggesting potential for broader partnerships. The study also identified key research themes such as leadership, distributed leadership, and accountability through keyword co-occurrence analysis. The most frequently cited literature emphasized the role of collaboration, instructional program coherence, and school culture in school improvement. The findings underscore the necessity for increased global collaboration, exploration of emerging themes, and enhanced geographical representation in future research to further enrich the knowledge base in this vital educational field.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh alat bantu kecerdasan buatan/artificial Intelligence tools (AI) dalam pembelajaran terhadap motivasi siswa berdasarkan teori Rogers. Teori Rogers menekankan pentingnya pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa dan memfasilitasi minat dan antusiasme siswa. Namun, siswa dan guru dapat merasakan dampak sistem AI secara negatif, dan sebagian besar pengalaman negatif dengan sistem AI berasal dari ekspektasi siswa yang tidak realistis dan kesalahpahaman tentang sistem AI. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah dua siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis eksploratif dilakukan untuk menganalisis data yang telah didapat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa AI tools dapat mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa menjadi lebih baik karena ketersediaan informasi dan kebutuhan yang dipersonalisasi bagi tiap siswa. Abstract: This qualitative research aims to explore the effect of artificial Intelligence tools (AI) in learning on student motivation based on Rogers' theory. Rogers' approach emphasises the importance of student-centered learning and facilitating student interest and enthusiasm. However, students and teachers can feel the impact of AI systems negatively, and most negative experiences with AI systems stem from students' unrealistic expectations and misunderstandings about AI systems. This research method is qualitative with a case study type. The subjects in this study were two fourth-grade elementary school students. The data collection used was a triangulation of observation, interview, and documentation. Explorative analysis was conducted to analyse the data that had been obtained. The results showed that AI tools can influence students' learning motivation to be better because of the availability of information and personalised needs for each student.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan guna mecari tahu hubungan self esteem dengan kecemasan sosial pengguna instagram. Pendekatan yang digunakan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 132 siswa yang berada di MAN 2 Malang Turen kelas XI secara keseluruhan. Sampel yang digunakan sejumlah 56 siswa, diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari dua skala yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Pertama yakni skala self esteem RSES (Rosernberg Self Esteem Scale) menurut teori Morris Rosernberg dan telah diadaptasi oleh peneliti guna disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan penelitian dengan jumlah item valid sebanyak 11 item dan item tidak valid sebanyak 5 item. Skala kedua yaitu skala kecemasan sosial pengguna instagram dari La Greca Lopez “Social anxiety scale for adolescents“(SAS-A) dan telah diadaptasi oleh peneliti untuk disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan penelitian dengan jumlah item valid sebanyak 24 item dan tidak ditemukan item tidak valid. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi product moment pearson guna menguji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian didapati bahwa adanya hubungan self esteem terhadap kecemasan sosial pengguna instagram pada siswa kelas XI di MAN 2 Malang Turen, dan kedua variabel berkorelasi sedang dengan bentuk korelasi negatif.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the authentic assessment techniques coveyring cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects in IPAS learning in elementary schools. This research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The design used in this research is a case study, in which researchers reveal and analyze holistically to get specific results. The subjects contained in this study are educators as homeroom teachers who are also IPAS teachers, students, and school principals. The data collection carried out in this study is using primary sources which include observation and interviews. Secondary sources included journals, books, and scientific articles. Data analysis conducted in this research is descriptive analytic. The results obtained in this study are based on the cognitive aspects of educators using written test assessment techniques, oral tests, and assignments. Affective aspects educators use observation, self-assessment, peer assessment, and journal assessment techniques. As well as psychomotor aspects, educators use project and portfolio assessment techniques. The achievement of learner competence can be seen based on the three aspects and the level of learning success is an integral part of the educational process.

Abstract

Prokrastinasi akademik merupakan perilaku yang meliputi pada unsur-unsur penundaan, dampak yang dapat ditimbulkan diantaranya kecemasan berlebih dan tingkat stress yang tinggi, dari dampak tersebut perlu adanya upaya pencegahan yang komprehensif. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini memiliki tujuan untuk menyusun produk panduan bimbingan kelompok teknik sinemaedukasi berbasis e-book untuk mencegah prokrastinasi akademik siswa SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation). Hasil dari penilaian uji ahli dan calon pengguna menerapkan analisis data inter-rater agreement. Selanjutnya uji keefektifan produk dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode the wilcoxon signed-rank test. Berdasarkan validasi ahli materi, media dan calon pengguna serta uji efektifitas kepada siswa, dapat disimpulkan bahwa panduan berada pada validitas sangat tinggi menurut aspek keberterimaan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan produk panduan bimbingan kelompok teknik sinemaedukasi berbasis e-book untuk mencegah prokrastinasi akademik siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas layak untuk digunakan. Kata kunci: sinemaedukasi, prokrastinasi akademik, siswa SMA.

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kajian implementasi konsep alih kasus (Referral) menghadapi keterbatasan pelaksanaan konseling di pesantren. Metode yang digunakan adalah literatur review dengan sumber primer berupa literatur terkait seputar referral dalam konseling, masalah adaptabilitas santri, dan keterbatasan kualitas Guru BK di Pesantren, mesin pencarian artikel menggunakan Google Cendikia dan Garuda, data awal artikel yang diperoleh berjumlah 40 artikel, setelah dilakukan penyaringan dengan pembatasan kategori dan rentang tahun (minimal 2010), dan kemudian melalui proses analisis isi setiap artikel, didapatkan hasil 21 artikel yang dinilai paling relevan dengan bahasan kajian. Hasil kajian menunjukkan masalah adaptabilitas santri dan kualitas guru bk yang terbatas di Pesantren, sehingga berdampak pada tidak optimalnya layanan bk. Dari hasil kajian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa referral merupakan opsi solusi dalam mengatasi kendala palaksanaan layanan bk yang optimal dalam jangka waktu pendek sampai menengah.    Kata kunci: referral, adaptabilitas, keterbatasan kualitas guru bimbingan dan konseling

Abstract

This research explores the verbal and symbolic aggression of Madurese women students. These two things will be examined as the leading models by looking at the oral and symbolic aggression models for Madurese women. Women’s aggression is a complex form of behavior. This complexity is essential to the cyclical activities of the self and its environment. Madurese women ‘do not have a voice’ in voicing their own opinions including in rural electoral power politics and household economic autonomy. This research uses mixed methods, quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative research uses statistical analysis using confirmatory factorial analysis (CFA), while qualitative research uses descriptive data about the types and forms of verbal aggression in women. Both explore verbal and symbolic tendencies of aggression in Madurese women. The women involved were students at universities in Madura. The research results show that women prefer symbolic aggression to verbal aggression. Women with higher education prefer symbolic aggression to verbal aggression. Types and forms of verbal aggression include cha’-nguca’e, hitting, pulling, harming, and injuring. This oral does not lead to the loss of another person's life. Another finding is that a symbolic attack always follows every verbal aggression. Meanwhile, symbolic aggression involves gossip, talking about bad things about other women with slander and backbiting, spitting on other people’s property rights, inviting other people to hate other women, constantly talking about other people’s bad things, looking for reasons to hate other people, not coming meeting with hated people.
