Abstract

Pendidikan saat ini sangat penting karena merupakan bagian strategis untuk membangun kehidupan suatu bangsa. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan oleh sekolah adalah dengan menerapkan MBS agar terwujud sekolah yang efektif. Pendidikan sentralisasi kurang mendidik manajemen sekolah untuk lebih mandiri, baik dalam segi manajemen kepemimpinan, profesionalisme guru, pengembangan institusional, pengembangan kurikulum, penyediaan sumber belajar, alokasi sumber daya dan terutama membangun partisipasi masyarakat untuk lebih memiliki sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perkembangan manajemen berbasis sekolah yang signifikan terhadap sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian literature review. Hasil literatur diperoleh dari beberapa artikel dengan mencari kesamaan kemudian ditarik kesimpulannya. Hasil dan dampak penerapan MBS dapat diketahui dengan optimalnya kinerja, pembelajaran, sumber belajar, keprofesionalan guru, dan sistem administrasi dalam suatu sekolah. Melalui MBS menghasilkan partisipasi yang tinggi dari masyarakat dan orang tua, kepala sekolah dapat lebih bersifat demokratis dan profesional serta mampu membentuk suatu tim yang kompak dalam penyusunan, mengerjakan dan mengevaluasi program kegiatan sekolah. Dalam penerapannya, MBS memiliki manfaat agar keberhasilannya menjadikan pendidikan semakin berkualitas, dan karena itu bangsa kita juga dapat mencapai keunggulan. Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah atau School-Based Management merupakan sebuah konsep manajemen di era otonomi daerah untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. MBS perlu diterapkan untuk dijadikan solusi terhadap berbagai macam persoalan yang dihadapi sekolah. Oleh karena itu hasil dari pelaksanaan MBS di setiap sekolah tidak bisa sama. Tetapi semua sekolah memiliki kesempatan yang sama untuk menjadi sekolah yang berkualitas

Abstract

This research aims to present the implementation of academic and non-academic Monitoring in higher education institutions using the literature review method as a source of information. Monitoring in both academic and non-academic fields in higher education is crucial to ensure that the standards of education and educational services provided are met. In the academic field, Monitoring is carried out to ensure that the learning process is effective, the teaching materials are of high quality, and the lecturers have adequate competencies. Meanwhile, in the non-academic field, Monitoring is conducted to ensure that campus security is guaranteed, educational facilities and infrastructure are adequate, and student involvement in campus activities is well-maintained. To improve the effectiveness of Monitoring in both academic and non-academic fields in higher education, universities can implement new strategies and innovations such as utilizing technology, developing evaluation instruments, and increasing student involvement in the Monitoring process. Effective Monitoring will have positive impacts such as improving the quality of education, student satisfaction, lecturer professionalism, campus security, and student involvement in campus activities. Research has shown that effective Monitoring in both academic and non-academic fields in higher education has positive implications for improving the quality of education and educational services. Furthermore, effective Monitoring can positively impact students, lecturers, and the wider community. Therefore, it is important for universities to carry out effective Monitoring in both academic and non-academic fields to ensure that all education and educational services processes meet the established quality standards.

Abstract

The community service conducted aims to contribute to our partner school, MTs Sunan Kalijogo in Malang City, by providing support for teachers' skills through the utilization of the Learning Management System (LMS) Moodle as a tool for remote learning during the pandemic. The implementation methods include mentoring, training, and workshops. The stages carried out are: (1) preparation, (2) training and workshops, (3) implementation of the results, and (4) evaluation. The results of the community service are as follows: (1) 90% of the participants strongly agree that the use of the Moodle program can assist teachers in conducting online education in the madrasah; (2) 80% of the participants are highly proficient in utilizing the Moodle program for distance learning; and (3) Based on the reflections conducted, participants have gained a strong understanding of using Moodle in the context of online education during the pandemic. This is evident in the high level of interest and enthusiasm displayed by the participants.

Abstract

The potential for vocational students to achieve success in entrepreneurship is considerable, especially since they have acquired specific skills that are in line with their area of specialization since the beginning of their vocational schooling. However, schools cannot be alone in promoting entrepreneurial careers among vocational students. This study aims to measure the role of three educational centers, in influencing self-efficacy, entrepreneurial intention and career choice as an entrepreneur. This study was approached with a quantitative approach using structural equation modeling (SEM), the sample in the study was 354 vocational students. Data analysis through four stages, namely exploratory factor analysis, normality and outlier tests, confirmatory factor analysis and hypotheses testing (structural model). The results showed that the three education centers significantly influence selfefficacy and entrepreneurial intention which in turn can encourage students to choose a career as an entrepreneur. This research contributes to the understanding of how the three education centers can be an important catalyst in shaping a generation of resilient and innovative entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Each schools have the autonomous right to manage and develop an independent curriculum according to its potential. However, the implementation of the independent learning curriculum is dependent on proper management at the school level, so there may be obstacles faced by schools in managing the independent learning curriculum. The purpose of this study is to investigate the concept and problems, as well as school strategies in managing an independent learning curriculum in laboratory schools. This research was studied qualitatively with a multi-site study design. Data collection was conducted through focus group discussions (FGDs) with semistructured interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Data validity was checked using source triangulation, discussion among fellow researchers, and adequacy of reference materials. Data analysis techniques used constant comparative analysis. The results show that learning activities in the independent curriculum emphasize character education and the achievement of students' happiness in learning, and schools implement differentiated learning and simplify the values contained in P5 through projects and fun learning. This research contributes theoretically and practically, by complementing previous literature and can be a guide for school managers in order to ideally manage an independent curriculum.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi mempermudah pengelolaan bisnis, termasuk inventory. Toko Kosmetik XYZ di Ciputat Timur, Tangerang Selatan, menghadapi masalah pencatatan manual seperti kesulitan mencatat barang masuk dan keluar, ketidakakuratan laporan stok, dan risiko barang kedaluwarsa. Penelitian ini merancang sistem informasi akuntansi stok berbasis Laravel untuk mengotomatisasi pengelolaan inventory. Metode penelitian meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen, yang terbagi dalam pra-penelitian, inti penelitian, dan pasca-penelitian. Sistem ini mencakup modul login, pengelolaan barang masuk dan keluar, serta laporan stok, dengan desain menggunakan ERD dan framework Laravel. Hasilnya menunjukkan sistem mampu mengatasi kendala pengelolaan inventory di Toko Kosmetik XYZ, memungkinkan pencatatan transaksi lebih cepat dan akurat, memudahkan pengelolaan stok, serta menyediakan laporan real-time. Implementasi sistem diharapkan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan kepuasan pelanggan. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa sistem informasi berbasis Laravel adalah solusi efektif untuk mengelola inventory di Toko Kosmetik XYZ, dengan saran kerjasama karyawan, pelatihan pengguna, dan perawatan rutin sistem.

Abstract

Establishing inclusive education is essential to achieving equality and fairness, particularly for students with disabilities. The emergence of discrimination has challenged the implementation of social practices in an inclusive school to guarantee the participation of students with disabilities academically and socially. This study empirically examines the social practices of these students within an inclusive school setting through the lens of Pierre Bourdieu’s theory of social practice, focusing on the interplay of habitus, capital, and field. Qualitative methods, employing a case study approach, were utilized. The case study was conducted at Muhammadiyah 2 Junior High School in Malang, an inclusive school that has developed various innovative programs to optimize the education of students with disabilities. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentary analysis. The findings indicate that: (1) The unique habitus of students with disabilities shaped by family background and life experiences significantly influences their adaptation and self-perception; (2) Students strategically utilize various forms of capital (social, cultural, and symbolic) to navigate and integrate into the school environment; and (3) The school as a field through policies, teacher and principal roles, and social structures plays a critical role in enabling or constraining participation and inclusion. The study concludes that the dynamic interaction between habitus, capital, and field profoundly shapes the ability of students with disabilities to form relationships and construct their identities in inclusive educational contexts. These findings underscore the need for comprehensive policy interventions, teacher professional development, and ongoing institutional support to create truly inclusive environments. Recommendations for future research include exploring the long-term sustainability of such models and their applicability across diverse socio-cultural settings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan budaya Melayu dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) terhadap pemahaman siswa tentang sistem pencernaan manusia dan kesadaran mereka tentang pentingnya pola makan yang seimbang. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah karena masih banyak masalah gizi pada anak-anak usia sekolah dan pemahaman siswa tentang sistem pencernaan yang masih rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan 26 siswa kelas V di sebuah sekolah dasar. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat dari 76,92 menjadi 87,69 setelah pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan budaya Melayu. Selain peningkatan kemampuan belajar, penggunaan budaya Melayu juga membantu membentuk karakter siswa, seperti sikap gotong royong, tanggung jawab, dan kesadaran akan kesehatan. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar model pembelajaran yang mengaitkan budaya lokal dikembangkan lebih lanjut untuk mendukung Kurikulum Merdeka dan meningkatkan literasi sains siswa di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to discover the perspectives of Physics teachers regarding the application of academic supervision in public and private high schools. In the realm of educational obstacles, including geographical and resource constraints, comprehending teacher views is crucial for devising more effective supervisory strategies. The research method employed is qualitative, utilising a case study approach. Data were gathered via comprehensive interviews with nine Physics Science educators to investigate their experiences, reactions, and anticipations regarding the academic supervision process. The study's findings indicated that teacher perceptions were significantly affected by the supervisory approach, the quality of communication between teachers and supervisors, and the pertinence of the feedback provided. Educators possess adequate comprehension of the planning, execution, and subsequent evaluation of academic oversight by the principal. Favourable perceptions typically foster educators' receptiveness to transformation and enhancement of instructional methodologies. It is essential for principals to comprehend the scientific content pertinent to the subject matter taught by each educator, particularly in relation to scientific literacy (scientific approach). This research offers both theoretical and practical contributions. Supervisor competencies that diverge from the relevant field of study also impede the efficacy of supervision. This study theoretically enhances the discussion of teacher perceptions in academic supervision. The findings can serve as a resource for educational stakeholders to develop a more contextual and effective supervision model, particularly in regions with unique socio-cultural and infrastructural conditions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of charismatic leadership as an effective strategy in improving teacher performance through a systematic review of the latest literature. Charismatic leadership has long been considered a potential strategy for improving teacher performance in educational contexts. This study aims to systematically review the literature on charismatic leadership using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to identify its antecedents, implications, and limitations. The results of the review indicate that certain personality traits, such as agreeableness, persistence, and cognitive ability, are consistent predictors of idealized influence, while extroversion is more dominant in influencing inspirational motivation. Empirical evidence also supports that charismatic leadership can increase teachers' extra-role behaviors (OCB), improve task performance, and positively impact performance outcomes at both the group and educational organization levels. These findings confirm the important role of charismatic leadership in professional and service contexts in education, and its implications for leadership selection and training practices. However, the results also reveal significant limitations, including heterogeneity in definitions and measurement instruments, the predominance of cross-sectional research designs with self-reports, and the lack of a multilevel approach to analysis. Therefore, further research is needed to adopt longitudinal, experimental, and multilevel designs to achieve a more comprehensive, valid, and applicable understanding of the role of charismatic leadership in education. The results of this study provide a theoretical and practical basis for leadership development and the design of training programs for teachers.
