Abstract

The use of web-based assessment at the elementary school level is a novelty in this research. The purpose of this research is to find out the comparison of the character of curiosity and the comparison of student responses to the use of web-based assessment. In addition, it is also to determine the effect of the character of curiosity on student responses in using web-based assessments. This research is quantitative research with associative and comparative research types. The sample used in this study were high school elementary school students at 64 Muara Bulian elementary school and 80 Muara Bulian elementary school. The sam-pling technique in this study was random sampling. The data analysis technique in this study is a quantita-tive analysis technique using data processing assistance. The results of the t test with sig. (2-tailed) less than 0.05, it can be seen that there are differences in the character of students' curiosity and there are differences in student responses to the use of web-based assessments. The results of the regression test with a signifi-cance value of 0.009 which means less than 0.05 so that the character of curiosity influences student re-sponses in using web-based assessments. The significant influence here means that students who have a good character of curiosity will also respond well to the use of web-based assessment.

Abstract

Ilmu kimia bersifat eksperimen oleh karena itu, saat pembelajaran di kelas sebaiknya guru menunjukkan manfaat kimia dalam lingkungan kehidupan sehari- hari. Pembelajaran kontekstual merupakan model pembelajaran yang menghubungkan isi pelajaran dengan situasi dunia nyata yang dialami siswa dan mendorong siswa membuat hubungan antara pengetahuan yang dimilikinya dengan penerapannya dalam kehidupan. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan Untuk mengetahui pengaruh praktikum sederhana pada materi laju reaksi terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 2 Sungai Penuh. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI semester ganjil SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu random sampling, diperoleh sampel penelitian yaitu XI MIPA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan belajar dengan penerapan praktikum sederhana dan XI MIPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol pembelajaran dengan mengamati video praktikum . Desain penelitian adalah nonequivment control group desain. Uji statistika yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Rata-rata nilai postes kelas eksperimen 79.72 dan kelas kontrol 52.50. Dengan kata lain terdapat pengaruh variabel Peran praktikum sederhana terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik yang dibuktikan dengan nilai sig. (2 tailed) sebesar 0,000< 0,05. Maka H_0ditolak dan H_1 diterima. Dengan demikian keputusan yang diambil bahwa Praktikum sederhana (X) secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar (Y). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh Pembelajaran praktikum sederhana (X) terhadap Hasil belajar (Y).

Abstract

These character values are 18 contained in the Thematic Book for Grade III Elementary School Students which can be studied by educators through analysis. This study aims to examine the analysis of material content in the Thematic Book for Grade III Elementary School Students Curriculum 2013 Revised Edition 2018 which contains character values. This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of document study. The subject in this study is the researcher himself. The objects used in this study are contained in data and data sources. This research data is in the form of 18 character values in the 2013 Curriculum. The data source is in the form of Thematic Books for Grade III Elementary School Students Curriculum 2013 Revised Edition 2018. The data is analyzed by content analysis method. The content analysis techniques used, namely unitizing sampling, recording, reducing, inferring, and narrating. The results of the analysis of character values studies in the Thematic Book for Grade III Elementary School Students Curriculum 2013 Revised Edition 2018 are religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, respect achievements, democratic, curiosity, national spirit, love of the country, friendly/communicative, love peace, love of reading, care for the environment, care for social, and responsible. By reviewing the contents of the Thematic Book for Class III Students Curriculum 2013 Revised Edition 2018, it is hoped that educators can find out the character values contained in the book and be able to help students form student character values in each of their learning activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena peningkatan kasus HIV/AIDS melalui pendekatan filsafat ilmu, sains, dan agama. Kajian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif-kualitatif berbasis studi pustaka, dengan menelaah literatur ilmiah terkini terkait aspek ontologis, epistemologis, dan aksiologis dari HIV/AIDS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa HIV/AIDS tidak hanya merupakan permasalahan medis, tetapi juga menyangkut dimensi moral, sosial, dan spiritual. Pendekatan filsafat memberikan kerangka reflektif dalam memahami hakikat penyakit dan nilai kemanusiaan; sains memberikan dasar empiris dalam pencegahan dan pengobatan; sedangkan agama memperkuat nilai-nilai moral dan etika dalam penanganan penderita. Integrasi ketiga pendekatan ini menghasilkan pemahaman yang lebih holistik dan manusiawi dalam upaya penanggulangan HIV/AIDS.

Abstract

Fenomena peningkatan kasus demam tifoid di Indonesia, terutama pada peserta didik, menunjukkan adanya persoalan epistemologis, ontologis, dan metodologis dalam praktik pendidikan kesehatan. Studi ini bertujuan menganalisis bagaimana pengetahuan mengenai tifoid dikonstruksi dalam pendidikan, mengidentifikasi bias epistemologis pada kurikulum, serta mengevaluasi strategi pengendalian melalui pendekatan filsafat ilmu. Dengan analisis literatur dan data epidemiologi, ditemukan bahwa pendekatan biomedis konvensional tidak memadai tanpa transformasi epistemik dan perbaikan struktural. Pendidikan kritis, dialogis, serta kolaboratif ditawarkan sebagai alternatif untuk meningkatkan literasi kesehatan dan mendorong tindakan kolektif siswa terhadap determinan sosial tifoid.

Abstract

Menganalisis secara kritis peningkatan kasus Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) di Indonesia melalui pendekatan filsafat ilmu, yang meliputi ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi. Tujuan dari analisis ini adalah untuk memahami penyebab peningkatan kasus DBD serta merumuskan strategi pengendalian yang efektif melalui pendidikan kesehatan masyarakat. Secara ontologis, DBD dipandang sebagai masalah kompleks yang terkait dengan faktor biologis, ekologis, sosial, dan kultural. Secara epistemologis, artikel ini menyoroti pentingnya mentransformasikan pengetahuan ilmiah tentang DBD kepada masyarakat melalui pendidikan yang efektif. Secara aksiologis, pengendalian DBD dianggap sebagai upaya untuk melindungi hak hidup sehat masyarakat, yang memerlukan partisipasi kolektif dan kesadaran moral. Strategi pengendalian DBD yang diintegrasikan dalam pendidikan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran, sikap, dan perilaku preventif masyarakat terhadap penyakit ini.

Abstract

Kesulitan murid dalam memahami konsep Ikatan Kimia yang bersifat abstrak serta terbatasnya pemanfaatan media digital dalam pembelajaran menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini. Penelitian ini dirancang untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran berupa video animasi yang terintegrasi dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan pendekatan Deep Learning, serta didukung asesmen berbasis Quizizz sebagai instrumen evaluasi pada materi Ikatan Kimia. Studi ini tidak hanya berfokus pada pengembangan produk, tetapi juga menguji kelayakan media melalui validasi ahli serta mengkaji tanggapan pengguna. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas ahli materi, ahli media, guru kimia, dan murid kelas XI Fase F di SMAN 3 Kota Jambi. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar validasi dan kuesioner respons, kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif menggunakan persentase. Hasil menunjukkan tingkat validitas sangat tinggi, dengan skor ahli materi 95,83% dan ahli media 87%, serta penilaian guru 98,33%. Respons murid pada uji satu-satu dan kelompok kecil masing-masing 96,67% dan 92,31%, sehingga media dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to develop a valid, reliable, and culturally relevant evaluation instrument for assessing the pedagogical competencies of teacher candidates in the Professional Teacher Education Program (PPG) at the elementary school level, based on the Condition of Learning theory. Methodology: The study employed a quantitative approach with validation by six experts and field testing involving 100 teacher candidates. Data analysis included Cronbach's Alpha for reliability measurement. The instrument design adhered to Condition of Learning principles, integrating cultural relevance and pedagogical evaluation. Main Findings: Validation scores ranged from 4.3 to 5.0 across aspects, with a reliability score of 0.72 (Cronbach's Alpha). Evaluation results showed mean scores of 85.05 for cognitive, 80.07 for affective, and 81.14 for psychomotor competencies, indicating strong preparedness among teacher candidates. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study integrates Condition of Learning principles with cultural elements, creating a comprehensive evaluation instrument that reflects Indonesia's educational context. It provides a significant tool for improving pedagogical assessments and aligns evaluation with local values and national education standards. This research has an impact on the creation of more effective and relevant evaluation instruments, so that it can improve the quality of professional education of elementary school teachers through the application of learning conditions theory.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to analyze the influence of the Science Technology Society (STS) approach on improving students’ science process skills in science learning. The focus is to evaluate the impact of STS in improving skills such as observation, classification, interpretation, and communication of scientific findings. Methodology: This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. This study involved quantitative data analysis using t-test and N-Gain Score. Participants were students from selected junior high schools. The tools used included pretest and posttest instruments, along with an observation checklist. Main Findings: The study found a significant increase in science process skills in the experimental group using the STS approach. The experimental group had a higher mean posttest score (18.00) compared to the control group (17.00). The N-Gain score for the experimental group (0.53) was also significantly higher than the control group (0.25). Novelty/Originality of this study: This study introduces the systematic application of the STS approach to improve students’ science process skills. It offers new insights into how STS integration can create more engaging, relevant, and effective learning experiences. It contributes to the ongoing development of innovative context-based science education strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of Bantaian Adat local wisdom into the teaching of Integrated Science and Social Studies (IPAS) through the use of an electronic module in elementary schools. The research employed a mixed methods approach with a sequential explanatory design, combining quantitative and qualitative approaches in successive stages. The study involved 40 fourth grade students from classes IVA and IVB, as well as two fourth grade teachers one from the experimental class and one from the control class who participated in interviews. Quantitative data were collected through pre tests and post tests to measure the improvement in students’ learning outcomes after using the Bantaian Adat based electronic module. The results indicated a significant improvement, with an average pre test score of 68.25 and a post test score of 85.40, yielding an N gain of 0.54 (moderate category). Qualitative data were obtained through in depth interviews and classroom observations in both groups, showing that the teacher in the experimental class perceived an increase in student engagement and greater ease in connecting local values with scientific and social concepts. This study emphasizes that the integration of Bantaian Adat local wisdom through an electronic module not only enhances students’ learning outcomes but also strengthens their character and cultural identity in IPAS learning at the elementary school level.
