Abstract

Face mist is one of the cosmetics in the form of a spray, which functions as a refresher and moisturizer with the use of being directly sprayed onto the facial skin. Combining two antioxidants that work to increase the activity of preventing the effects of radiation and free radicals. Face mist is made from a combination of pomegranate peel extract (Punica granatum L.) and mangosteen peel (Garcinia mangostana L.).To obtain a formulation and evaluate the physical stability of apreparation with a face mist combination of pomegranate peel extract (Punica granatum L.) and mangosteen peel (Garcinia mangostana L.) as an antioxidant.Experimental research with One-Shoot Case Study design. Made three combination formulations of pomegranate peel and mangosteen peel extract. Then the formulation was seen from the results of the evaluation of its physical stability including organoleptic tests, homogeneity, pH, viscosity, facial moisture, spraying patterns, dry time, and antioxidant tests using the DPPH method. Analysis data One Way Anova showed that there was no significant difference in the pH, viscosity and skin moisture test. Evaluation and physical stability 21 days organoleptic test, homogeneity obtained all formulas meet the standards, pH test and dry time formula II most meet the standards, viscosity test formula III most meet the standards, formula I meets the standards for spraying pattern test, skin moisture and % inhibition highest in the antioxidant test. The preparation face mist most optimalis formula I with a ratio of pomegranate peel extract and mangosteen peel (10:15).

Abstract

Sawi pakcoy (Brassica rapa L) merupakan salah satu sayuran daun yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi, untuk itu perlu adanya peningkatan produksi pakcoy.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui dosis kombinasi nutrisi AB mix dan POC air kelapa yang terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil pakcoy secara hidroponik. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Jl. Perdamaian, Komplek Residence Borneo Khatulistiwa 3 No. A45 Kota Baru, Pontianak. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari 17 September 2022 sampai 28 Oktober 2022. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan satu faktor yaitu kombinasi larutan AB mix dan POC air kelapa (L). Perlakuan kombinasi AB mix dan POC air kelapa terdiri dari 6 perlakuan, 4 ulangan, 4 sampel tanaman sehingga jumlah seluruh tanaman ialah 96 tanaman. Perlakuan yang diberikan sebagai berikut : l0 = 5 ml AB mix, l1 = 2,5 ml AB mix + 200 ml POC air kelapa / Liter, l2 = 2,5 ml AB mix + 300 ml POC air kelapa / Liter, l3 = 2,5 ml AB mix + 400 ml POC air kelapa / Liter, l4 = 2,5 ml AB mix + 500 ml POC air kelapa / Liter dan l5 = 2,5 ml AB mix + 600 ml POC air kelapa / Liter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian konsentrasi AB-mix 5 ml memberikan rerata tertinggi pada pertumbuhan dan hasil pakcoy secara hidroponik. Pemberian  kombinasi AB-mix 2,5 ml + POC air kelapa 200 ml/l sudah mampu menggantikan pemberian AB-mix 5 ml/l

Abstract

Tanaman terung merupakan komoditas yang sering dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat. Terung banyak dibudidayakan oleh petani secara konvensional dengan input anorganik seperti pupuk. Hal ini dapat mengancam keberlanjutan pertanian sehingga diperlukan alternatif untuk menggantikan pupuk anorganik tersebut, yaitu dengan menerapkan pertanian organik menggunakan Jadam Liquid Fertilizer (JLF). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan konsentrasi JLF dari limbah terung yang terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil terung pada tanah aluvial. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktor tunggal, yaitu "Konsentrasi JLF dari Limbah Terung" (j) yang terdiri dari 5 taraf perlakuan. Percobaan diulang sebanyak 5 kali dan setiap satuan percobaan terdiri dari 8 tanaman. Variabel penelitian yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah cabang (buah), volume akar (cm3), berat kering tanaman (g), jumlah buah (buah), berat buah per tanaman (g), bobot buah per buah (g), panjang buah (cm), dan diameter buah (cm). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa JLF dengan konsentrasi 20% merupakan konsentrasi yang efisien terhadap variabel jumlah cabang. JLF dengan konsentrasi 10% merupakan konsentrasi yang efisien terhadap seluruh variabel hasil tanaman yaitu jumlah buah, berat buah per tanaman, bobot buah per buah, panjang buah, dan diameter buah.

Abstract

The majority of the people in Tebang Kacang village are Madurese who were displaced since the riots between the Madurese and Dayak ethnic groups in West Kalimantan in 2001. Until now, the Madurese people live in the village with very limited land available so that it is not possible to carry out agricultural cultivation which requires large land scale. The problem faced by the Dasa Wisma Mawar group of mothers who are partners in this PKM activity is that they are interested in carrying out an ornamental plant cultivation business, in the very limited time between their daily activities. This community service activity aims to increase knowledge and skills on how to make kokedama from moss and coco fiber for ornamental plants, increase knowledge about how to market kokedama products today. Implementation of service activities to empower housewives is carried out using lecture, discussion and demonstration methods. As a result of this service activity, overall participants liked the method of cultivating ornamental plants using the kokedama technique with a division of 14% preferring cultivation using the kokedama technique, 27% preferring cultivation using plastic flower pots and 53% preferred a combination of both.Pelatihan Budidaya Tanaman Hias dengan Teknik  Kokedama Di Desa Tebang Kacang Kabupaten Kubu RayaABSTRAKMasyarakat desa Tebang Kacang mayoritas adalah suku Madura yang mengungsi sejak   kerusuhan antar etnis Madura dan Dayak di Kalimantan Barat tahun 2001. Sampai sekarang masyarakat suku Madura tersebut tinggal menetap di desa tersebut dengan luas lahan yang disediakan sangat sempit sehingga tidak memungkinkan untuk melakukan budidaya pertanian yang memerlukan skala lahan yang besar. Titik permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh kelompok ibu-ibu Dasa Wisma Mawar yang menjadi mitra ada kegiatan PKM ini adalah berminat  untuk melakukan usaha budidaya tanaman hias, diantara waktu yang sangat terbatas pada kegiatan sehari-hari. Kegiatan  pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan cara membuat kokedama dari lumut dan fiber coco utnuk media tanaman hias, meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang cara memasarkan produk kokedama di masa saat ini. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian pemberdayaan ibu rumah tangga dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi dan demonstrasi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian  ini secara keseluruhan peserta menyukai cara budidaya tanaman hias dengan Teknik kokedama  dengan pembagian 14 % lebih menyukai budidaya dengan Teknik kokedama, 27% lebih menyukai budidaya menggunakan pot bunga plastik dan 53 % menyukai kombinasi keduanyaKata Kunci :Pelatihan; Tanaman Hias;  Teknik Kokedama

Abstract

Desa Sungai Jelai merupakan suatu desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Tambang Ulang, Kabupaten Tanah Laut. Di balik keindahan alamnya, desa ini memiliki data kualitas kesehatan masyarakat yang rendah ditandai dengan terjadinya beberapa kematian masyarakat yang diakibatkan penyakit degeneratif dan menular. Salah satu upaya meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan kesejahteraan masyarakatnya adalah dengan melaksanakan program kaderisasi kesehatan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berlangsung selama kurang lebih empat bulan dengan berbagai tahapan, antara lain survei dan koordinasi, pemberian edukasi dan pelatihan penanganan penyakit degeneratif, kardiovaskular, dan infeksius, pemberian pelatihan inovasi teknologi serta pendampingan kader kesehatan dalam mengedukasi masyarakatnya. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pengetahuan kader kesehatan Desa Sungai Jelai terkait penyakit degeneratif, kardiovaskular, dan infeksius dan terjadi peningkatan kemampuan kader terhadap praktik penggunaan alat-alat pemeriksaan kesehatan. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan kader terkait layanan home care dan telemedicine. Implementasi kegiatan ini diakhiri dengan pendampingan pelayanan kesehatan oleh kader kepada masyarakat dengan melaukan pengecekan kesehatan dan edukasi. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan, diharapkan kualitas kesehatan masyarakat Desa Sungai Jelai meningkat melalui adanya program kader kesehatan yang telah diedukasi dan diberi pelatihan terkait penanganan, pencegahan, dan deteksi dini penyakit-penyakit degeneratif, kardiovaskular, dan infeksius.Abstract. Sungai Jelai Village is a village located in Tambang Ulang District, Tanah Laut Regency. Behind its natural beauty, this village has low public health quality data marked by several deaths caused by degenerative and infectious diseases. One effort to improve the quality of life and welfare of its people is to implement a health cadre program. This community service activity lasted for approximately four months with various stages, including surveys and coordination, providing education and training in handling degenerative, cardiovascular, and infectious diseases, providing technology innovation training and mentoring health cadres in educating their community. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the knowledge of Sungai Jelai Village health cadres regarding degenerative, cardiovascular, and infectious diseases and an increase in the cadres' ability to practice using health examination tools. In addition, there was an increase in the cadres' knowledge regarding home care and telemedicine services. The implementation of this activity ended with mentoring of health services by cadres to the community by conducting health checks and education. Based on the results of the activities, it is expected that the quality of public health in Sungai Jelai Village will increase through the existence of a health cadre program that has been educated and given training related to the handling, prevention, and early detection of degenerative, cardiovascular, and infectious diseases.

Abstract

This study purpose to test the effect of service quality, customer value co-creation, and customer satisfaction on Mekaar customer loyalty. The population used in this study were all Mekaar customers of PT Permodalan Nasional Madani Branch Depok, who have done Top-Up at least 3 times totaling 16,307 customers, and the selected sample is 100 customers, using proportional random sampling technique. Data collection technique is done using online questionnaires. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that Service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, Customer value co-creation has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, Customer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, Service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, Customer value co-creation has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, Customer satisfaction can mediate the effect of service quality on customer loyalty, Customer satisfaction can mediate the effect of customer value co-creation on customer

Abstract

Background: Skin is a very important organ in the body that protects other organs and requires special care to keep skin healthy. Problems with facial skin can be caused by several factors, one of which is the use of makeup which leaves makeup residue combined with pollution and free radicals which can cause facial skin to become dry and lacking in nutrition. Cleansing balm is the latest facial cleanser known as biphasic cosmetic or a cosmetic product that has two phases. Cleansing balm with a combination of avocado seeds (parsea americana mill) is not only a facial cleanser but can also provide benefits as an antioxidant for the skin.Objective: To find out the optimal formulation of the Cleansing Balm preparation with avocado seed extract (Persea americana Mill) and the effect of variations of Span 60 and Tweent 80 on the stability test of the Cleansing Balm preparation formulation with avocado seed extract (Persea americana Mill).Methods: This research uses One Way Anova, a statistical test which aims to find out whether there are differences between more than 2 sample groups. One direction is meant here is that the source of diversity that will be analyzed only goes in one direction, namely the treatment between sample groups.Results: Based on the results of evaluation and data analysis from stability testing on the optimal and stable formulation of Cleansing Balm, avocado seed extract (Persea americana Mill), namely Formulation I because it meets the parameters of the evaluation test and stability test.Conclusion: Varying concentrations of Span 60 and Tweent 80 have an influence on before and after the stability test. Based on the stability test, the most optimal and stable formulation is formulation I.

Abstract

Background: Water fleas are an infectious disease caused by dermatophyte fungi which infect the skin between the toes, soles of the feet and the lateral parts of the feet. Galangal rhizome (Alpinia galanga L) has various properties, including being an antifungal. Cream is a semi-solid preparation and contains one or more medicinal substances dissolved or distributed as a base. Cream has amphipathic properties which have parts that can dissolve polar and non-polar compounds. This amphipathic property is found in the emulsifier in cream preparations. Emulgator Tween 80 and Span 60 are included in the class of surfactant emulsifiers chosen because they are not irritating and non-toxicObjective: To determine the effect of varying concentrations of Tween 80 and Span 60 emulsifiers on the physicochemical evaluation and stability of galangal rhizome extract athlete's foot cream preparations.Methods: The method used was experimental with a quasi-experimental design with a pretest- posttest control group design research design. Simplicia was made into a thick extract, then athlete's foot cream was made and continued with accelerated physicochemical and stability evaluations using the cycling test method. Data were analyzed using one way anova.Results: The results of the evaluation of athlete's foot cream with galangal rhizome extract with variations of tween 80 and span 60 met the evaluation and stability test requirements for the cream preparation.Conclusion: From the results of the physicochemical evaluation and stability of the galangal rhizome extract athlete's foot cream, all formulations have met the cream preparation test requirements.

Abstract

Cu-15Zn alloy is widely used as a heat exchanger pipe. CuZn alloy was also used for cardiovascular implant applications. Several problems have been found in that alloy, such as less corrosion resistance. Therefore, various Sn (0.2, 0.7, 1, and 2 wt.%) were added to Cu-15Zn alloy in the present research to enhance corrosion resistance. Afterwards, the alloy was homogenized at 800 °C for 2 hours. Several investigations were conducted, such as structure, microstructure, hardness, corrosion resistance, and bacterial activity, using XRD, Optical microscope, Vickers hardness, Potentiostat equipment, and Digital camera. More Sn content leads to an increase in volume and a decrease in hardness. Presenting Sn in the alloy does not influence the phase in the alloy microstructure. The highest Sn content in the alloy promoted a more positive value of the alloy, indicating that the sample is more cathodic, probably due to the protective layer on the surface. A concentration of 1 wt.% Sn exhibits the most effective antibacterial effect probably due to the small crystallite size.

Abstract

A cut wound is the damage or loss of body tissue due to a sharp object, which can cause bleeding, as well as cause inflammation. Hydrogel is an ideal preparation for wound closure. Nanohydrogel are a development of nanotechnology that has a particle size of 10-1000 nm. Making nanohydrogel preparations requires a gelling agent to obtain a qualified preparation, for example Carbopol 980. Nanohydrogel was made using Moringa leaf extract (Moringa oleifera) as an active substance and made with variations in Carbopol 980 concentration. To evaluate the results of nanohydrogel preparation and determine the effect of variation in Carbopol 980 concentration on moringa leaf extract (Moringa oleifera) nanohydrogel preparation. The method used was experimental with Quasi Experimental design. Simplisia is made into extracts and formulated into nanohydrogel preparations and continued with evaluation. Data were analyzed using One Way Anova. The particle size of moringa leaf extract nanohydrogel preparation was found to be 338 nm. The results of the preparation evaluation showed that moringa leaf extract nanohydrogel with varying concentrations of Carbopol 980 had an effect on the pH, viscosity, and spreadability tests shown in the One Way Anova statistical test (p<0.05). From the evaluation results, the ideal formulation for nanohydrogel preparation is obtained in formula 4 with a concentration of Carbopol 980 of 1%.
