Abstract

Saat ini dunia kerja lebih cenderung melihat calon pekerja dari employability skills, tentunya dengan tidak mengesampingkan technical skills yang merupakan kemampuan (kompetensi keahlian) pada bidang tertentu yang ditunjukkan melalui kesiapan kerja. Pentingnya tenaga kerja lulusan SMK memiliki employabilitty skill dan technical skills yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri, dalam upaya menghasilkan lulusan yang siap kerja dan terserap di industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan gambaran mendalam mengenai tingkat employability skills tenaga kerja lulusan SMK Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan, dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah teknisi yang terdapat di Toyota Auto 2000 Kapuk dan Honda Megatama Kapuk. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri dengan menggunakan lembar wawancara yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli dalam bidang otomotif dan pendidikan kejuruan. Hasil penelitian adalah (1) Faktor utama keterampilan komunikasi adalah lama waktu teknisi dalam bekerja di bengkel, namun juga ditemukan teknisi yang merasa kesulitan dalam menjalin komunikasi secara lisan, (2) Ditinjau dari tingkat kesulitan teknisi secara umum tidak mengalami kesulitan, akan tetapi terdapat teknisi yang mengalami kesulitan dikarenakan tidak belum memahami SOP.

Abstract

Dengan semakin berkembangnya teknologi dan gaya hidup, tren fashion sangat cepat berubah, berganti dalam waktu yang sangat singkat. Hal ini menyebabkan industri fashion yang bergerak dalam segmen pasar produk massal (mass product) mengadopsi fast fashion untuk tetap bertahan di tengah persaingan industri. Kunci sukses dalam merilis produk baru dalam fast fashion adalah supply chain atau rantai pasok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi design thinking dalam riset dan pengembangan produk fashion massal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan design thinking. Design thinking terdiri dari lima tahapan, yaitu: emphatize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Peneliti melakukan empati, observasi, dan mengidentifikasi masalah-masalah yang dalam riset dan pengembangan produk fashion muslimah di PT Qiyada Maysuun Sejahtera. Kemudian, peneliti membuat prototipe dan pengujian produk. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah design thinking dapat digunakan sebagai pendekatan atau metode untuk melakukan research and development produk fashion yang digunakan di industri mass product fashion untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna (user), dalam hal ini user adalah target pasar dari produk fashion tersebut.

Abstract

The research was conducted to design a learning media model that can be used online. The method in this study uses a 4D development model, a stage that is carried out only to the development stage. The application used to design learning media is Dreamweaver and then the qualification test is carried out by media experts and material experts and the trial test is done on 35 trainees in training institutions and courses. The resulting learning media model has qualifications in terms of usability, functionality, and visual communications aspects by media experts in highly qualified categories, and the qualification results by material experts in relation to learning design, material content, language, and communications things are obtained in the category Highly qualified, and evaluations by students of the results based on usability aspects in most of these applications are acceptable to students with highly satisfactory answers on components P1 to P10 with highly qualifying categories.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat Analisa terhadap mindset para wirausaha Lulusan SMK Pemesinan yang berfokus pada konsep elaborating mindset, implementing mindset dan compulsiveness. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan pedekatan kualitatif. Sumber data diperoleh  dari empat pemilik usaha dengan metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan dengan model interaktif yang terdiri dari data collection, data reduction, data display dan conclusion drawing and verifying. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep elaborating mindset yang ditemukan meliputi skills, keinginan untuk mandiri, keinginan menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan, serta dukungan dari teman dan keluarga. Sedangkan untuk melihat alasan yang digunakan dalam mempertimbangkan layak atau tidaknya sebuah usaha adalah skills, ada dan tidaknya kompetitor, modal, motivasi dan jenis usaha. Adapun Konsep implementing mindset terdiri dari cara mengidentifikasi target didapatkan melalui perkembangan pasar, permintaan customer, pesaing, mitra/teman, internet, media sosial dan instruksi dari kantor pusat, sedangkan strategi/rencana dalam meraih tujuan dengan mendalami dan mengembangkan skills, memperbanyak pengalaman di bidang usaha yang sejalan dengan skills, mempersiapkan modal usaha, membangun jaringan bisnis/relasi. Analisis yang terakhir diketahui bahwa skills, modal, dan peluang menjadi faktor yang mempengaruhi konsep compulsiveness.

Abstract

Videos can serve as an effective teaching tool, motivator, and focus for students during learning tasks. The goal of this project is to create ADDIE pedicure learning films that will aid in the comprehension of pedicure material for VHS skin and hair beauty majors. Research and development using the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation development paradigm is what this kind of study is called. thirty students from class X Phase E Skin and Hair Beauty served as the research subjects for the study, which was carried out at VHS State 2 Boyolangu, Tulungagung, with a focus on skin and hair beauty. The findings demonstrated that: (1) analysis by observation and interviewing, (2) design goods made with software, (3) In order to fill out validation questionnaires, researchers conducted feasibility tests with a number of experts, including language, IT media, material experts, and students. Researchers that specialize in implementation conducted trials in step four. In step five, they examined the recommendations and comments provided by validators and analyzed data based on the efficacy test findings, namely the pretest and posttest. The study's conclusion is that instructors can employ learning videos that incorporate the ADDIE growth stages to give their students nail care resources in a practical and efficient manner.

Abstract

This survey aims to find out the influence of a growth mindset on the innovation skills of engineering students. This research uses quantitative research methods. The data analysis techniques used were inferential statistics, while the hypothesis testing techniques used were simple regression analysis techniques. Research instrument tests are tested with validity and reliability tests using SPSS for Windows applications. A simple regression prerequisite test consists of a normality test, a linearity test, and a  Breusch-Pagan & White test. Then the result of the hypothesis test is that the regression coefficient is positive, so it can be said that the direction of the influence of the variable X on Y is positive. So the influence of a growth mindset on innovation skills has a significant influence value where the determination coefficient (R square) is 0.412, which contains the understanding that the impact of the free variable on the bound variable is 41.2%, and the value of F counts = 97.964 with the significance rate of 0.000 < 0.05, then it can be concluded there is an influence on the growth thinking variable over the innovation skill variable.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the work characteristics of vocational school graduates majoring in Motorcycle Engineering in the automotive industry through a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation at three official Honda workshops in Blitar: AHASS MPM, AHASS PSM, and AHASS Kademangan. Data analysis was performed using triangulation of sources and methods to ensure the research results are valid, systematic, and in-depth. The research results indicate that the work standards for mechanics include a minimum SMK TSM diploma, mastery of technical competencies, compliance with SOPs, and the application of good work characteristics such as discipline, religiosity, thoroughness, diligence, concern, honesty, responsibility, communication skills, creativity, innovation, teamwork, and perseverance. However, the application of work character traits among SMK graduates in the automotive industry is not yet fully consistent, particularly in terms of religiousness, meticulousness, perseverance, communication skills, teamwork, resilience, creativity, and innovation. Schools and industries need to establish more intensive collaboration through internship programs, training, and continuous evaluation to ensure graduates possess both technical competencies and work character traits aligned with industry standards.

Abstract

Grammar is is an integral part of language competencies that must be mastered by foreign language learner, as one of the requirements for mastering all of language competencies. Therefore various strategies are being attempted in order to help students gain the learning outcomes of the course. In learning activities, it was found that students who were identified as a group with lower initial abilities were able to achieve high learning outcomes at the end of the semester. The students' learning styles are assumed to have a contribution to the students learning outcomes, because students have learn with the same learning resources, and the methods used by teachers are not different. This became the starting point to explore the relationship between learning styles and student learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative research to describe the correlation between learning styles and student learning outcomes in the basic level of Nihongo subject. This study will also describe the quality of the relationship between the two variables. The population in this study is all undergraduate students of State University of Surabaya (UNESA) Japanese Language Education Program class of 2022, totaling 104 students. The sampling method used in this study is a non-sampling method because all members in one population will be the subject of this study. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1) The learning styles of UNESA Japanese Language Education Program students class of 2022 were analyzed based on VARK model learning style preferences, showing that students have a single learning style and a combined learning style. However, The most dominant learning style preference used by students is Kinesthetic learning style with more than half of the total number of respondents. In addition, gender-based learning style preferences show that female student groups have a greater number of combined learning styles than male student groups; 2) The correlation between students' learning styles, and Japanese learning outcomes after being analyzed through a non-parametric model showed that the coefficient value of both variables of this study is 0.663, which is classified as "very weak". The result shows that learning styles do not contribute significantly to student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The implementation of Merdeka Belajar (MB) brings fundamental changes to Vocational High Schools (VHS). The MB curriculum that is implemented needs to be approached with a deep understanding of the concepts and processes. Thus, many factors influence its implementation. This research aims to analyze the factors in implementing independent learning in vocational schools. This research uses a qualitative approach with a multi-case study at two Public Vocational High Schools (PVHS) in Blitar through in-depth interviews supported by observation and documentation. The research results show that the independent curriculum implemented in PVHS has obstacles in the form of teacher misconceptions and difficulties in synchronizing the curriculum in Light Vehicle Engineering (LVE) with industry. The learning model used in LVE subjects to train students to work independently is PjBL. Meanwhile, guest teachers from industries are invited to provide training and insight to teachers and students. Furthermore, internships are carried out in LVE workshops and industry. Meanwhile, student competency tests are carried out involving the career center and school certification. LVE learning technology updates and graduate absorption also influence this. In conclusion, the implementation of the MB curriculum at VHS is determined by teacher awareness and leadership strategy choices.

Abstract

Energy shortages remain a major challenge for remote communities, impacting sustainable economic development. Micro-hydropower plants (PLTMH) utilizing flowing water resources offer an efficient and cost-effective renewable energy solution, especially for small-scale electricity needs (<100 kW). a community-based service research project in Bedadung Village, Jember Regency, examined the application of Archimedes screw turbines in PLTMH with variations in the immersion levels of the waterwheel (0.5 and 0.75 of the wheel diameter) and measurements taken at different time intervals. Simulation results showed that a waterwheel immersion of ¾ below the water surface produced an average rotation of 476.27 rpm and a voltage of 12.75 V, which was more optimal for meeting the electricity needs of the local community, particularly in tourist locations and commercial areas. A participatory approach and learning-by-doing methods enhanced community understanding of local resource potential while sustainably building energy and economic self-reliance. This study emphasizes the importance of turbine design adjustments and water resource management for the technical and ecological sustainability of PLTMH in remote areas.
