Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in Pancasila Education learning in grade IV of SDN 04 Terandam, Padang City, which is indicated by the majority of students not having achieved the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP). This problem is caused by the lack of active student involvement, the use of less varied learning models, and the less than optimal use of learning media. This study aims to describe the improvement in student learning outcomes through the implementation of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative model assisted by Google Sites. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a qualitative and quantitative approach carried out in two cycles, including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 26 grade IV students. Data collection techniques used tests and non-tests, while data analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the study showed an increase in every aspect. The value of the teaching module increased from 91.8 to 98.28. Teacher activity increased from 87.46 to 96.42, and student activity from 83.89 to 96.42. Student learning outcomes also increased, namely in the attitude aspect from 76.21 to 87.01, knowledge from 81.34 to 90.38, and skills from 79.32 to 90.98. It can be concluded that the implementation of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model assisted by Google Sites is effective in improving student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education learning in grade IV.

Abstract

The findings reveal that students are still experiencing poor educational results. This issue arises from insufficient student engagements in educational activities, as the teaching process remains largely led by the instructor. This study aimed to describe the improvement of learning outcomes in the IPAS subject through the implementation of the cooperative learning model, specifically the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type, in grade IV of SDN 15 Ulu Gadut, Padang City. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) by combining qualitative and quantitative approaches, conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were 25 students, consisting of 15 males and 10 females. Data were collected through observation techniques as well as test and non-test instruments to measure the effectiveness of the model. The evaluation results showed significant improvements in various aspects of learning. The quality of lesson module preparation increased from an average of 89.06% in the first cycle to 96.87% (very good) in the second cycle. Teacher activities in classroom management and student participation also improved consistently, from an average of 83.92% to 96.42% at the end of the second cycle. Learning outcomes covering attitudes, knowledge, and skills increased from an average score of 76.02 to 86.31 (good). These findings indicate that the use of the TGT model supported by flipcard media is highly effective in enhancing students’ interest and active participation, as well as improving their academic learning outcomes.

Abstract

The educational era influenced by the industrial revolution 4.0 is called Education 4.0, which is characterized by the use of computerized innovation in every educational cycle. The problem that researchers encountered at SDN 8 Lawang Kidul and SDN 16 Lawang Kidul was the lack of use of varied learning media and the use of technology. This research aims to develop a Nearpod application-assisted learning tool based on Flipped Classroom for integrated thematic learning in class III elementary schools that is valid, practical and effective. This research is included in Research and Development research which uses the ADDIE development model. Data collection uses observation, questionnaire interviews and written tests. The research subjects were class III students at SDN 8 Lawang Kidul and SDN 16 Lawang Kidul. Data analysis uses a Likert scale by looking at validation analysis, practicality and effectiveness of the Nearpod Application-Assisted Learning Tool based on Flipped Classroom. This research produced a flipped classroom-based learning tool assisted by the nearpod application in integrated thematic learning in class III of this elementary school, namely for material expert validators who got a score of 92%, media expert validators got a score of 96% and language expert validators got a score of 92%. For the practicality questionnaire, teacher responses scored 95.5% and for the practicality questionnaire, student responses scored 90.04%, which is categorized as very practical. The effectiveness test shows an increase in learning outcomes from an average of 54.002 to 87.46. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the flipped classroom-based learning device assisted by the nearpod application in integrated thematic learning in class III elementary schools meets the valid, practical and effective categories so that it can improve student learning outcomes.
