Abstract

The educational era influenced by the industrial revolution 4.0 is called Education 4.0, which is characterized by the use of computerized innovation in every educational cycle. The problem that researchers encountered at SDN 8 Lawang Kidul and SDN 16 Lawang Kidul was the lack of use of varied learning media and the use of technology. This research aims to develop a Nearpod application-assisted learning tool based on Flipped Classroom for integrated thematic learning in class III elementary schools that is valid, practical and effective. This research is included in Research and Development research which uses the ADDIE development model. Data collection uses observation, questionnaire interviews and written tests. The research subjects were class III students at SDN 8 Lawang Kidul and SDN 16 Lawang Kidul. Data analysis uses a Likert scale by looking at validation analysis, practicality and effectiveness of the Nearpod Application-Assisted Learning Tool based on Flipped Classroom. This research produced a flipped classroom-based learning tool assisted by the nearpod application in integrated thematic learning in class III of this elementary school, namely for material expert validators who got a score of 92%, media expert validators got a score of 96% and language expert validators got a score of 92%. For the practicality questionnaire, teacher responses scored 95.5% and for the practicality questionnaire, student responses scored 90.04%, which is categorized as very practical. The effectiveness test shows an increase in learning outcomes from an average of 54.002 to 87.46. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the flipped classroom-based learning device assisted by the nearpod application in integrated thematic learning in class III elementary schools meets the valid, practical and effective categories so that it can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Learning is still carried out conventionally, even though school facilities support carrying out learning using renewable technology-based learning media. However, teachers lack innovation in learning media to be used in the learning process. Apart from that, student learning outcomes are still low. This research aims to develop Powtoon learning media assisted by the problem-based learning model in science and science learning in class IV elementary schools that is valid, practical, and effective. This type of research is research and development (R&D). The development model used is ADDIE. The methods used to collect research data are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. Subject validation is carried out by material, language, and media expert validators. The test subjects were Class IV elementary school students and class teachers. The validation results by material, media, and language experts stated that they were valid for the media being developed. The practicality results in both small and large groups obtained a very valid practicality category. Meanwhile, the results of effectiveness tests in small and large groups have increased. In this way, the media developed is declared valid, practical and effective, and suitable for use in science and science learning in Class IV.

Abstract

The learning process expected by Curriculum Merdeka is to pay attention to the differences in the cognitive level of each student, and teachers facilitate each of those differences with differentiated learning. In addition, the assessment also follows the change, that the assessment no longer has to be carried out only at the middle of the semester or the end of the semester. However, expected assessments are those that are also carried out before, process, and after learning. The purpose of this activity is to provide training to elementary school teachers to design differentiated learning. In addition, it also equips teachers to be proficient in using the Quizizz application as an interactive assessment media. This activity was carried out in six sessions which were divided into seminars and training. The results of the activity showed an increase in the knowledge of the teacher about differentiated learning. In addition, improvements were also seen in the skills of elementary school teachers in using the Quizizz application as an interactive assessment tool. This training can encourage teachers to use smart devices in teaching and learning activities, as a stimulus for students to learn fun, in accordance with technological developments.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low listening ability of fifth-grade students, which was caused by the use of inappropriate teaching materials. To address this, listening materials based on audio-visual media were developed, integrating positive character education to improve students’ listening skills. The objective of this development was to produce valid, practical, and effective teaching materials. This research was research and development (R&D) utilizing the 4-D model, consisting of the stages of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. Data on validity were obtained through RPP validation sheets and teaching materials, while practicality data were collected through lesson plan implementation, observation sheets, and teacher and student response questionnaires. Effectiveness was measured from students’ learning activities and outcomes, including character assessment and listening skills. The results showed that the developed teaching materials were very valid, practical based on teacher observations and questionnaires, and effective, with 93% of students able to listen effectively using the audiovisual media. Based on these findings, the listening materials based on audio-visual media for grade V elementary students can be declared valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the limited teacher innovation in using learning media, where lectures and printed textbooks still dominate classroom activities, making it difficult for students to grasp abstract concepts. Therefore ,animated learning media was developed to enhance student comprehension, participation, and achievement in Pancasila Education for third grade elementary students. The research used a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, consisting of five stages, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The subjects were Grade III  students at SD Negeri 19 Air Tawar Barat and SD Negeri 52 Parupuk Tabing. Data collection instruments included expert validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, and effectiveness tests, with analysis focusing on validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Results showed that the developed media achieved very valid scores from material experts (95%), media experts (91.25%), and language experts (100%). Practicality tests revealed positive responses from teachers (96.67%) and students (95.38%). Effectiveness was confirmed by an N-Gain score of 0.81, with average student scores rising from 59.72 (pretest) to 91.84 (posttest). In conclusion, the animated learning media was proven valid, practical, and effective, providing an engaging tool that supports a more interactive and meaningful learning process in Pancasila Education for elementary schools.
