Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan peningkatan hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa pada kelas VI SD Negeri 24 Ganting Singgalang dengan menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek uji coba adalah peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 24 Ganting Singgalang sebanyak 27 siswa. Hasil penilaian afektif pada siklus 1 75% meningkat menjadi 85%, penilaian psikomotor pada siklus 1 68% meningkat pada siklus 2 menjadi 87% . Kemudian hasil belajar pada siklus 1 dengan rata-rata 73 dengan ketuntasan 52% meningkat pada siklus 2 dengan rata-rata 92 dengan persentase kelulusan 81%. Motivasi belajar siswa meningkat pada siklus I 44% dan siklus II 81%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning di kelas VI Sekolah Dasar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing di  kelas V SDN 09 Air Pacah. Jenis penelitian adalah Penelitian Eksperimen. Populasinya adalah siswa kelas V dengan jumlah 30 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purpose sampling. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan menggunakan tes kemampuan awal dan tes kemampuan akhir. Berdasarkan Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar yang diberikan dalam bentuk tes akhir pada kelas ekperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata kelas ekperimen 80,42 dan kelas kontrol 71,96.. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran snowball thrawing berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa di Kelas V Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan yang menggunakan model Discovery Learning (DL) pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu Kelas V di SD Negeri 03 Sintuak Toboh Gadang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Quasi Exsperimental dengan bentuk non equivalent control group design. Teknik sampel yang digunakan yaitu teknik purposive sampling dengan berdasarkan hasil normalitas dan homogenitas maka terrpilihlah SDN 03 Sintuak Toboh Gadang dengan sampel yang terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen I kelas V.A menggunakan model Problem Based Learning yang berjumlah 24 siswa dan kelas eksperimen II kelas V.B menggunakan model Discovery Learning yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Hasil penelitian terlihat bahwa hasil uji-t diperoleh thitung -3,6 < ttabel 1,7 maka Ho diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan penggunaan model Problem Based Learning dengan Discovery Learning terhadap High Order Thinking Skills dan Self Directed Learning di kelas V Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh beberapa masalah yang ditemukan oleh peneliti pada riset awal. Media pembelajaran yang dirancang oleh guru belum menarik dan menyenangkan bagi anak usia dini. Penggunaan multimedia interaktif dalam pembelajaran kognitif pada anak usia dini masih jarang dijumpai. Kemampuan kognitif dapat ditingkatkan melalui pengembangan media interaktif yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media berbasis multimedia interaktif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berhitung dengan kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D, yang terdiri dari tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu instrumen validitas, praktikalitas dan efektivitas. Analisis data menggunakan skala likert dengan melihat analisis validitas, praktikalitas dan efektivitas. Ujicoba terbatas dilakukan di TK Negeri Pembina Padang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran berhitung berbasis multimedia interaktif sudah memenuhi kategori valid, praktis, dan efektif sehingga mampu meningkatkan keterampilan berhitung pada anak usia dini khususnya pada usia 5-6 tahun

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan masih rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 40 Sei Lareh juga masih rendah. Adapun tujuan peneleitian adalah, menjelaskan pengaruh model STM terhadap aktivitas siswa, menjelaskan pengaruh model STM terhadap hasil belajar siswa tujuan. metode penelitian adalah eksperimen. Hal ini terlihat banyak siswa yang kurang bersemangat dalam belajar. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas IV SDN 40 Sei Lareh Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Rancangan atau design penelitian eksperimen yang digunakan adalah Randomized control group only design. Data uji aktivitas diperoleh melalui angket aktivitas siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat pengaruh aktivitias siswa diajarkan model STM, (2) terdapat pengaruh hasil belajar siswayang diajarkan model STM

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan analisis penggunaan video animasi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Tematik di kelas 5 Sekolah Dasar kabupaten Aceh Barat Daya. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan penelitian eksperimen yang berhubungan dengan angka-angka yang dihitung secara sistematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan keterampilan menyimak peserta didik selama mengikuti proses pembelajaran dengan penggunaan video animasi pada pembelajaran Tematik di kelas V mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan menganalisis nilai pre-test dan post-test belajar pada peserta didik SDN 10 Tangan-Tangan dengan rata-rata nilai pre-test 60 dan post-test 80,22. Sedangkan hasil belajar peserta didik setelah penggunaan video animasi pada proses pembelajaran di kelas V SDN 10 Tangan-Tangan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan menganalisis data menggunakan rumus statistik uji t pada taraf ɑ = 0,05, diperoleh hasil t-tabel = 1,68 sedangkan t-test = 2,04 sehingga t-test ≥ t-tabel. Kesimpulan penelitian ini ialah dengan penggunaan video animasi dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak dan hasil belajar peserta didik. , maka bisa diambil kesimpulan bahwasanya keterampilan menyimak siswa selama mengikuti kegiatan belajar dengan penerapan video animasi dalam pembelajaran tematik kelas V mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

This research examines the role of school principals in implementing school-based management (SBM) to improve teacher performance. School-based management is a decentralized approach that gives schools greater autonomy in decision-making, with the aim of improving the quality of education. The principal plays a key role as a leader and manager in the implementation of SBM, which involves planning, organizing, directing and supervising. This research uses qualitative methods with interview and observation techniques to collect data from several schools. The research results show that school principals who are effective in implementing SBM have strong leadership abilities, good communication, and skills in managing resources. In addition, the principal’s support in teacher professional development, strengthening positive school culture, and providing constructive feedback has been proven to increase teacher motivation and performance. In conclusion, the role of the school principal is very important in implementing SBM and has a significant impact on improving teacher performance, which ultimately contributes to improving the quality of education in the school.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the contribution of school climate to enhancing teacher commitment. A systematic literature reviews method was employed, focusing on a range of sources such as articles, books, and reports to provide a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics between school climate and teacher commitment. Key findings indicate that school climate significantly influences teacher commitment through various factors. First, effective leadership from school principals fosters a supportive and motivating environment, promoting teacher engagement and a sense of belonging. Second, positive relationships among teachers, students, and staff create a collaborative atmosphere that enhances job satisfaction and unites individuals toward common goals. Third, opportunities for professional development, such as training and workshops, enable teachers to improve their skills and remain committed to their roles. A positive school climate was also found to boost teacher well-being and job satisfaction, further solidifying their dedication to their professional responsibilities. Based on these findings, the study concludes that fostering a positive school climate is essential for enhancing teacher commitment, which directly impacts the quality of education and student academic achievement. Collaborative efforts among school leaders, teachers, and staff are crucial for creating a conducive environment that supports educational goals.

Abstract

This study examines the role of instructional leadership in improving teacher learning services to enhance the quality of education. The objective is to explore how principals, as instructional leaders, foster teacher professionalism, improve instructional materials, and create conducive learning environments. A literature reviews method was used to gather and analyze data from relevant academic sources, including books, articles, and policy documents. Key findings highlight that instructional leadership directly contributes to teacher professional development by encouraging innovative teaching practices, facilitating collaboration, and providing feedback for continuous improvement. This leadership approach enhances teacher's capacity to address student needs effectively, apply innovative teaching methods, and foster both academic and personal growth in students. Furthermore, the study identifies five components of effective instructional leadership: focusing on learning, fostering collaboration, analyzing student achievement, supporting teacher development, and adapting curricula and assessments to current demands. These actions ultimately improve the quality of teacher learning services and positively impact student achievement. The study concludes that instructional leadership is a critical factor in achieving high-quality education, underscoring the interconnected roles of principals and teachers in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the factors influencing teacher commitment and its impact on improving the quality of education in Indonesia. Teacher commitment is essential for aligning personal and institutional goals, fostering efficiency in task completion, and addressing challenges in 21st-century education. A literature reviews method was employed, analyzing study from various journals to gather and summarize relevant findings. The review focused on strategies to enhance teachers' dedication, including professional development, supervision, and recognition of achievements. The results reveal that high teacher commitment reduces issues like tardiness, absenteeism, and poor performance. Effective strategies include rewarding responsible educators, enforcing discipline, providing learning resources, and fostering teamwork. Additionally, organizational factors such as clear vision, mission, and values-based recruitment contribute to cultivating teacher responsibility. The findings emphasize the role of school administrators in promoting teacher engagement through mentorship, training, and collaboration. The study concludes that committed educators positively impact student achievement and institutional growth. Schools must prioritize strategies to support teachers' personal and professional development to ensure high educational standards.
