Abstract

Traditional wooden shipbuilding can be seen from different perspectives, namely from industry and tradition and culture. As a tradition and culture, traditional wooden shipbuilding is a means of developing character and local wisdom which is closely related to the life of the people involved. Thus, this study aims to analyze the values of local wisdom in the creation of traditional wooden boats in the coastal areas of Riau and the Riau Archipelago. Research is the result of analysis of qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The results of the study from the socio-anthropological review show that the culture and tradition of creating traditional wooden boats for coastal Malay communities is influenced by foreign cultures, forming a national identity, the knowledge possessed by craftsmen (workers) in shipbuilding is manual even though the size of the ships made is relatively large enough to 1,500 GT. In addition, the existence of these traditional wooden boats is considered sturdy so that they are in demand and widely used by world fishermen, especially in the archipelago. However, currently the existence of traditional wooden boats is becoming scarce due to the difficulty of raw materials. The character values of local wisdom contained in the creation of traditional wooden ships are hard workers (my ancestors were sailors). Among the national character values are: work hard (work hard), act correctly, be trustworthy, maintain unity, not destroy nature (love the environment), and so on.

Abstract

This study examines the role of school principals in managing academic supervision to improve the competence of junior high school (SMP) teachers in the Seunagan sub-district. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis at several schools in Seunagan Rayal district. The results show that academic supervision is carried out regularly based on a planned schedule and includes pre-observation meetings, classroom visits, and follow-up feedback. Supervision focuses on helping teachers improve in areas such as lesson planning, subject knowledge, teaching methods, and classroom management. Thematic analysis showed that teachers improved in five main areas: planning, managing learning, mastering material, using methods effectively, and working with others. About 75% of teachers said they became more confident in teaching, and 68% became more reflective after being supervised. School principals also reported a 60% improvement in teaching quality. The study concludes that supervision, when done consistently and collaboratively, helps teachers grow professionally and supports better learning outcomes in line with national education policies like Merdeka Belajar.

Abstract

Tindak Pidana Perdagangan Orang (TPPO) merupakan bentuk pelanggaran hak asasi manusia yang kian kompleks di era digital. Penelitian ini mengkaji dinamika TPPO di Indonesia dengan pendekatan kualitatif yuridis-empiris, berfokus pada kasus-kasus aktual seperti kematian pekerja migran Soleh Darmawan di Kamboja dan maraknya penipuan daring yang melibatkan warga negara Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modus TPPO telah berkembang menjadi kejahatan transnasional berbasis teknologi, melibatkan eksploitasi tenaga kerja, seksual, dan ancaman terhadap integritas fisik korban. Faktor penyebabnya meliputi kemiskinan, lemahnya penegakan hukum, serta literasi digital yang rendah. Pemerintah Indonesia menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam pemberantasan TPPO, termasuk minimnya koordinasi antarinstansi, keterlibatan oknum aparat, serta belum optimalnya regulasi yang ada. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya revisi UU TPPO, penguatan kelembagaan, dan strategi penanggulangan berbasis hak asasi manusia agar perlindungan korban dapat berjalan secara holistik dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji hubungan yang rumit antara pelecehan seksual, aspek mental korban, lingkungan di mana pelecehan terjadi, dan pelanggaran Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM). Pelecehan seksual, dalam berbagai bentuknya, tidak hanya menimbulkan luka fisik tetapi juga dampak psikologis atau mental yang signifikan dan berkelanjutan bagi korban. Lebih lanjut, artikel ini menyoroti bagaimana karakteristik lingkungan, baik fisik maupun sosial, dapat memengaruhi risiko terjadinya pelecehan seksual dan memperparah konsekuensi mental yang dialami korban. Faktor-faktor seperti kurangnya keamanan ruang publik, norma sosial yang meremehkan pelecehan, dan minimnya dukungan bagi korban dalam suatu lingkungan dapat berkontribusi pada prevalensi dan dampak negatif pelecehan seksual. Dalam kerangka HAM, pelecehan seksual merupakan pelanggaran mendasar terhadap hak atas keamanan pribadi, integritas tubuh, martabat, dan kesehatan mental. Artikel ini menganalisis bagaimana kegagalan dalam mencegah dan menanggapi pelecehan seksual secara efektif di berbagai lingkungan merupakan pelanggaran terhadap kewajiban negara untuk melindungi hak asasi manusia. Melalui tinjauan literatur dan analisis konseptual, artikel ini menyerukan pendekatan komprehensif yang mengintegrasikan pemahaman tentang dampak mental pelecehan seksual, penciptaan lingkungan yang aman dan mendukung, serta penegakan prinsip-prinsip HAM untuk mewujudkan masyarakat yang bebas dari kekerasan seksual dan menjamin kesejahteraan mental korban.

Abstract

ABSTRACTTikTok is a social media platform that is very popular among teenagers and youth. On the other hand, civic values such as tolerance, responsibility, participation, and legal awareness are important in forming good citizens. This study aims to determine the influence of TikTok as a means of strengthening civic values among the younger generation. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method, which includes critical analysis of various sources, such as national and international journal articles, books, e-books, dissertations, and theses, as well as print and online media that can provide a comprehensive picture of the influence of TikTok as a means of strengthening civic values. The results show that TikTok has the potential to be a means of informal civic education because a lot of content conveys moral messages, diversity, and national spirit. However, mentoring and digital literacy are needed so that the use of TikTok has a positive impact. Thus, TikTok can be utilized as a strategic medium for instilling civic values among the younger generation if used wisely and purposefully. This research is expected to contribute to civic education strategies in the digital era.Keywords: Citizenship; Social Media TikTok; Young Generation ABSTRAKTikTok merupakan platform media sosial yang sangat populer di kalangan remaja dan pemuda. Di sisi lain, nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan seperti toleransi, tanggung jawab, partisipasi, dan kesadaran hukum menjadi hal penting dalam membentuk warga negara yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh TikTok sebagai sarana penguatan nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan di kalangan generasi muda. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka, yang mencakup analisis kritis terhadap berbagai sumber, seperti artikel jurnal nasional maupun internasional, buku, e-book, disertasi, tesis, serta media cetak dan online yang dapat memberikan gambaran yang komprehensif mengenai pengaruh TikTok sebagai sarana penguatan nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TikTok berpotensi menjadi sarana pendidikan kewarganegaraan informal karena banyak konten yang menyampaikan pesan moral, kebhinekaan, dan semangat kebangsaan. Namun, diperlukan pendampingan dan literasi digital agar penggunaan TikTok benar-benar memberikan dampak positif. Dengan demikian, TikTok dapat dijadikan media strategis dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan di kalangan generasi muda jika digunakan secara bijak dan terarah. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe Bakar Tongkang tradition in Bagan Siapiapi, Riau, is not only a cultural asset, but also functions as a strategic tool in strengthening civic culture in the midst of a multi- ethnic indigenous community. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach to analyze the role of tradition in fostering values of solidarity, public participation, and cross-ethnic cooperation. The results of the study reveal that this ritual has succeeded in building a shared identity and strengthening social ties through community involvement in the preparation to implementation stages, driven by local government policies. However, threats such as the dominance of commercial aspects, low involvement of the younger generation, and environmental issues have the potential to erode the sustainability of tradition. To overcome this, solutions such as incorporating traditional values into the education system, utilizing digital technology, and synergy between related parties are considered crucial. This study confirms that Bakar Tongkang can remain the foundation of civic culture by maintaining a balance between preservation and renewal, while ensuring its sustainability amidst global dynamics.Keywords: Bakar Tongkang; Civic Culture; Indigenous Peoples  ABSTRAKTradisi Bakar Tongkang di Bagan Siapiapi, Riau, tidak sekadar menjadi aset budaya, melainkan juga berfungsi sebagai alat strategis dalam memperkuat civic culture di tengah masyarakat adat yang multietnis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur untuk menganalisis peran tradisi dalam menumbuhkan nilai solidaritas, partisipasi publik, dan kerja sama lintas etnis. Hasil kajian mengungkap bahwa ritual ini berhasil membangun identitas bersama dan mempererat ikatan sosial melalui pelibatan masyarakat dalam tahap persiapan hingga pelaksanaan, didorong oleh kebijakan pemerintah setempat. Namun, ancaman seperti dominasi aspek komersial, rendahnya keterlibatan generasi muda, serta persoalan lingkungan berpotensi mengikis kelestarian tradisi. Untuk mengatasinya, solusi seperti memasukkan nilai tradisi ke dalam sistem pendidikan, memanfaatkan teknologi digital, dan sinergi antar pihak terkait dinilai krusial. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa Bakar Tongkang dapat tetap menjadi fondasi civic culture dengan menjaga keseimbangan antara pelestarian dan pembaruan, sekaligus memastikan keberlanjutannya di tengah dinamika global.Kata Kunci: Bakar Tongkang; Civic Culture; Masyarakat Adat

Abstract

The performance of the principal of SD Negeri is the positive or negative behavior of the principal of SD in achieving SD goals. This study found that: (1) self-determination affects the work motivation of primary school principals by 25.3%; (2) organizational culture affects the work motivation of primary school heads in Aceh Besar District by 27.9%; (3) self-determination affects the job satisfaction of primary school principals in Aceh Besar District by 27.1%; (4) organizational culture affects the job satisfaction of primary school principals in Aceh Besar District by 21.5%; (5) self-determination affects the performance of primary school principals in Aceh Besar District by 20.2%; (6) organizational culture affects the performance of primary school principals in Aceh Besar District by 17.5%; (7) work motivation affects the performance of primary school principals in Aceh Besar District by 18.9%, and (8) job satisfaction affects the performance of primary school principals in Aceh Besar District by 24.5%. Based on the results of the study, it found that self-determination, organizational culture, work motivation, and job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on the performance of the principal of SD Negeri in Aceh Besar District, Aceh Province. Abstract

Teacher performance is the result of work achieved when planning, implementing, and assessing learning in schools. The results showed: (1) the effect of pedagogic competence on the work motivation of public elementary school teachers in the Medan City is 0.242; (2) the influence of the principal's leadership on the work motivation of State elementary school teachers in the Medan City is 0.238; (3) the influence of pedagogical competence on the performance of public elementary school teachers in the Medan City is 0.259; (4) the influence of principal leadership on the performance of public elementary school teachers in the Medan City is 0.207; and (5) the effect of work motivation on the performance of public elementary school teachers in the Medan City is 0.200. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the pedagogic competence, principal leadership, and work motivation on teacher performance was 28.7% and the rest was determined by other circumstances.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya tingkat kedisiplinan siswa di sekolah. Pemberian Sanksi merupakan salah satu upaya yang dilakukan oleh sekolah untuk meminimalisir permasalahan tersebut. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat pengaruh Pemberian Sanksi Terhadap Kedisiplinan Siswa Kelas IX SMP Negeri 40 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah terdapat pengaruh Pemberian Sanksi terhadap Kedisiplinan Siswa Kelas IX SMP Negeri 40 Pekanbaru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif kausal. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi, kuisioner (angket), wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pengaruh Pemberian Sanksi Terhadap Kedisiplinan Siswa Kelas IX SMP Negeri 40 Pekanbaru. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa nilai ????ℎ???????????????????? 13,93 ≥ ???????????????????????? 4,06 dan nilai signifikan 0,001 ≤ 0,05. Maka, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga secara simultan Pemberian Sanksi (X) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kedisiplinan Siswa (Y) Kelas IX SMP Negeri 40 Pekanbaru. Hasil analisis uji koefisien determinasi pengaruh Pemberian Sanksi (X) terhadap Kedisiplinan Siswa (Y) sebesar 23,6% sedangkan 76,4% disebabkan oleh pengaruh dari faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh suatu fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan yang dimana, berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukakan di SMA Negeri 01 Kuantan Hilir Seberang, siswa menunjukan prilaku kurang fokus dalam proses pembelajaran seperti mengobrol saat pembelajaran, sering izin tanpa alasan jelas, dan tidak mengerjakan tugas. Penyebabnya adalah metode pembelajaran guru yang monoton,ketergantungan pada buku teks terbatas, dan pemanfaatan lingkungan sekolah yang belum optimal. Beberapa guru masih ragu menggunakan lingkungan sekitar sebagai sumber belajar, ditambah suasan kelas yang kurang mendukung membuat siswa meras bosan. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat pengaruh kreativitas guru dalam pemanfaatan lingkungan sekolah terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 01 Kuantan Hilir Seberang. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan angket. Hasil uji signifikan regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan F hitung 16,427 ≥ F tabel 3,96, sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Ini membuktikan bahwa kreativitas guru dalam memanfaatkan lingkungan sekolah variabel X berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa variabel Y.
