Abstract

Untuk meninkatkan pendidikan ditingkat Sekolah Dasar salah satu caranya adalah menggunakan teknologi ICT. Namun pada Sekolah SD lokasinya terjangkau jaringan internet. Salah satu contoh sekolah SD yang tidak terjangkau jaringan internet adalah SD paseban 1 dan SD paseban 2 di kelurahan paseban yang masuk pada wilayah Kabupaten Karangayar. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan jaringan internet pada Sekolah SD tersebut bisa membangun infrastruktur jaringan sendiri yang dihubungkan dengan jaringan internet milik proveider terdekat. Infrastruktur bisa dibuat dengan menerapkan teknologi wifi standar IEEE 802.11 b/g/n. Dari hasil implementasi Sekolah SD Paseban 1 dan Paseban 2 telah dapat terhubung dengan jaringan internet dengan throughput ke jaringan internet 10Mbps dan end to end delay 30 ms.

Abstract

Permasalahan didunia pendidikan meliputi  kualitas pendidikan dan kuantitas pendidikan. Kualitas pendidikan terkait dengan mutu pendidikan yang diharapkan oleh masyarakat sedangkan kuantitas pendidikan terkait dengan pemerataan memperoleh akses pendidikan tanpa ada kesenjangan dan pengecualian. Kondisi geografis  menjadikan tantangan bagi kementrian pendidikan indonesia untuk memberikan layanan yang bermutu dan merata untuk semua khalayak masyarakat. Solusi yang bisa dikembangkan adalah optimalisasi peran Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) dalam dunia pendidikan pendidikan diwujudkan dengan pengembangan pembelajaran online (e-learning).  Pada penelitian ini, e-learning dikembangkan berfokus pada Sekolah Menengah Atas. Aplikasi e-learning dikembangkan dengan teknologi web. Aktor yang terlibat meliputi admin, guru dan siswa. Fitur yang diberikan meliputi upload materi, upload tugas, diskusi, dan quiz online. Pada aplikasi ini juga ditambahkan fitur absensi ibadah sholat jum’at bagi siswa yang beragama islam.

Abstract

The problem solve of unstable dimensions wood fruits and susceptible wood from termites attack was an attempt preservation of wood by acetylation. The research purposes were to knew the effect of wood variety and acetic acid concentration to retention value, to evaluated the Weight Percent Gain (WPG) and dimention stability, and to evaluated durability from attack termite based on laboratory dan grave yard test. Some kind of wood such as kemiri, durian, and manggis woods were treated by soaking during 2 weeks with acetic acid concentration of 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25%. The results showed that high retention on kemiri wood with concentration of 25% was 7.73 gr/cm3. Durian wood in concentration of 15% had WPG value (44.41%) was good dimention stability (67.8%). The increasing of acetic acid concentration caused the increasing of retention and wood resistance from termite attack in laboratory and grave yard test. Abstract

The utilization of fruit woods increased according of increasing human needs. Several weakness of fruit woods were bad dimensional stability and susceptible wood from termite attack. Preservation can improve the dimensional stability and increase the wood from termite attack. One preservation method of was acetylation. The research purpose were to known the effect of rambutan, cempedak and rambai woods variety and acetic acid concentration to retention value, to evaluated the dimention stability and Weight Percent Gain and to evaluated durability from attack termite based on graveyard test and laboratory test. Some kind of wood such as rambutan, cempedak and rambai woods were treated by soaking during 2 weeks with acetic acid concentration of 10%, 15%, 20% and 25%. The results showed the effective retention on rambai wood with concentration of 20% was 3.81%. The high dimention stability ASE on rambutan wood with concentration of 15% was 73.37%, and the high WPG on rambai wood with concentration of 25% was 46.66%. The increasing of acetid acid concentration caused the increasing retention and wood resistance from termite attack in graveyard test and laboratory test. Abstract

Laminated board of oil palm trunk made with variations outer layer plywood 3 mm (P1), plywood 6 mm (P2), and high density of oil palm trunk (BT) with the configuration which is P1-BT, P1-P1, P1-P2, P2-BT, and P2-P2. In addition, by using a variation of phenol formaldehyde adhesive glue spread between 240g/m2 and 260g/m2. The maturation of the adhesive is done using a hot press with a temperature of 150 oC for 15 minutes. This study used a completely random experimental factorial design with 2 factors and the results were compared with the JAS 243:2003 standard.The results of this study among others density, water content, water absorption in immersion for 2 hours and 24 hours, thickness swelling on immersion for 2 hours and 24 hours, delamination ratio, MOE and MOR were 0,48-0,62 g/cm3, 9,73-11,36%, 23,55-33,57% and 72,62-85,27%, 3,64-8,64% and 8,32-15,04%, 0%, 31.402-47.533 kg/cm2 and 254,17-374,25 kg/cm2. Water content, the ratio of delamination and largely MOR value fulfilled JAS 243:2003 standard.The best of outer layer and phenol formaldehyde adhesive glue spread by JAS 243:2003 standard and results of the analysis range for the laminated board with oil palm trunk as a raw materials in general was P2-BT (plywood 6 mm and high density of oil palm trunk) and glue spread was 260 g/m2.Keywords: laminated board, oil palm trunk, outer layer, glue spread, phenol folmaldehyde.

Abstract

Gambir (Uncaria gambir Roxb) is a kind of dried sap which is produced from leaves and twig of plant extract. Gambir is used traditionally for various purposes such as mixture of betel nut, drugs, adhesives and textile industry. One of central production of gambir in Indonesia is Pakpak Bharat District, North Sumatera Province. The purpose of this research were to getting information about technique of gambir processing in Sub-district of Pergetteng Getteng Sengkut and to comparing the quality of gambir with SNI 01-3391-2000. The method of this research was descriptive method using interview of respondent, then direct observation in field of gambir processing. The research showed that the technique of gambir processing generally was simple and used the traditional tools. The steps of gambir processing were boiling and compressing leaves, then the sap was got from compressed the leaves. After that, the sap was sedimented, drained to a paste form, and dried. The result of these research showed that the yield was 5.80% with the range from 5.26-6.04%. The moisture content of gambir from Simapera village was 15.38% and fulfilled the quality II, whereas the other villages in Sub-district Pergetteng Getteng Sengkut did not fulfill the quality requirements. Ash content and water-insoluble materials content were fulfilled the quality I and quality II.Keywords : Gambir, processing techniques, yield, moisture content, ash content, water-insoluble materials content

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the type and price of commercial timber traded in Karo district. This research investigated the secondary wood industry usually called “panglong” as an object as well as the source of information. This research was conducted by the observation to secondary wood industry in 17 districts of Karo. Data  include the type, size, and price of wood, then data was tabulated. Then, the economic analysis for secondary industry wood was performed. The analysis results of 17 from  industry  surveyed in Karo district showed that the type of wood being traded were dominated by any kind of hard wood with percentage of 100%, pine (Pinus merkusii) of 88.23%, any hard woods of 76.47%, and meranti (Shorea sp) and dammar (Shorea macroptera) of 23.52%. Pine has the cheapest price among the commercial timber species that are traded others. Traded timber prices ranging from Rp. 10000 to Rp 11000 per inch. The greater secondary wood sawmill is UD. Surbakti with 25 employees and the BEP value of door frame production are Rp. 572625/ product, window sills Rp. 574875/product, while the smallest is UD. Mual Nauli with 2 employees and BEP value of window sills are Rp 250000 / product and ventilation Rp 62500 / product.Keywords: Secondary Wood Industry, Panglong, Economic Analysis.

Abstract

The combination of oil palm trunk waste and mahogany’s can increase the quality of particle board. The purpose of these study were to evaluated the effect of variations of phenol formaldehyde adhesive content and to determine the most valuable adhesives content towards the quality of particle board made from waste of oil palm trunk and mahogany’s. The treatment variation were variations of PF adhesives content  were 8%, 10%, 12%, 14%, and 16%. Particle board made with size 25 cm x 25 cm x 1 cm with target density of 0,7 gr/cm3, pressure in 30 kg/cm2, and temperature in 170°C in 10 minutes. The experimental result were compared with SNI 03-2105-2006. The statistical analysis used a single completely random experimental with 3 replication. The result showed that density value was 0.49-0.56 g/mc3, moisture content was 3.52-4.25%, water absorption in immersion for 2 hours was 67.35-117.33%, and 24 hours was 75.74-132.22%, thickness swelling on immersion for 2 hours was 8.61-33.79%, and 24 hours was 10.91-35.37%, IB values was 0.44-1.36 kg/cm2, MOE values was 7090-15529 kg/cm2, and MOR values was 75.17-169.82 kg/cm2. Variations of PF adhesive give the effect of physical and mechanical properties significantly except moisture content. The physical properties in this experiment were density, moisture content, thickness swelling on immersion for 2 hours with adhesives content were 14% and 16%, also for 24 hours with adhesive content was 16%, had been fulfilling the standard. All of IB and MOE value didn’t fulfill the standard, but the value of MOR only  in 8% adhesive content didn’t fulfill the standard. Abstract

Efforts to improve particle board quality was made from oil palm trunks waste and mahogany by coating the surface of the particle board using lath of talang bamboo. The purpose of this research to evaluate physical and mechanical properties of particle board that made from oil palm trunks and mahogany combination by lath of talang bamboo coating variation and to determined strength wood class from coating variation by lath of talang bamboo when optimal utilization. Treatment variations were without coating; face coating with the inside lath of bamboo, and face coating with the outside lath of bamboo; face and back coatings with inside and outside lath of bamboo. Thick coating from inside and outside lath of bamboo was 0.1-0.2 mm. Particle board size was 25 cm x 25 cm x 1 cm, density target was 0.7 gram/cm3, pressure was 30 kgf/cm2 and temperature was 170 oC for 10 minutes. The result of research will be compared with SNI 03-2105-2006 and PKKI-ni-5 in 1961. Statistic analysis used single completely randomized design with three repetitions. The result of these research showed that density value, moisture content, water absorption on 2 hours and 24 hours submersion, thickness swelling on 2 hours and 24 hours submersion, MOE value, MOR value, and IB value were 0.56-0.68 gram/cm3, 3.29-4.42%, 40.09-78.50% and 53.04-87.15%, 9.04-19.17% and 11.88-24.68%, 9,975.76-72,900.41 kg/cm2, 81.64-578.70 kg/cm2, and 0.91-2.59 kg/cm2, respectively. Coating variation by lath of talang bamboo were significantly affected on all of physical and mechanical particle board quality. The best treatment was on face and back coating variation that each used inside and outside lath of talang bamboo which had fulfilled all of the physical and mechanical SNI 03-2105-2006 and included into III of strength wood class according to PKKI-ni-5 in 1961.Key words: talang bamboo, oil palm trunks, mahogany, particle board, physical and mechanical properties

Abstract

Abstrak: Secara harfiah semua manusia dibumi ini adalah guru. Dimana secara alami akan memberikan Pengetahuan dan pendidikan kepada anak didik (siapa saja yang mencari ilmu) walaupun memang terkadang tidak secara sadar. namun hal yang membedakan Menurut UU No. 14 Tahun 2005 adalah kata “Profesional”. Maka dari itu guru disini berfokus pada guru sebagai suatu pekerjaan. Disebutkan juga perannya banyak dan tidak main-main. Selain itu guru harus memenuhi standar mutu.  jawabannya kita bisa dapat di Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional Nomor 16 tahun 2007 : “setiap guru wajib memenuhi standar kualifikasi akademik dan kompetensi guru yang berlaku secara nasional”. Pekerjaan seorang guru tidaklah mudah mengingat peranan guru dalam membangun fondasi yang kokoh untuk mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa sesuai dengan yang tertuang dalam pembukaan UUD 1945. Guru sebagai profesi perlu diiringi dengan pemberlakuan aturan profesi keguruan, sehingga akan ada keseimbangan antara hak dan kewajiban bagi seseorang yang berprofesi guru, antara lain: Indonesia memerlukan guru yang bukan hanya disebut guru, melainkan guru yang profesional terhadap profesinya sebagai guru. Tulisan ini ingin melihat factor-faktor dan kriteria apa saja yang datap dicapai seorang guru dalam menjalankan fungsi dan tugasnya sehingga dapat menjadi seorang guru yang berkualitas, berdedikasi terhadap tugas, tanggung jawab, dan menjunjung tinggi etika profesi dan profesionalitas dalam pekerjaannya.Kata Kunci : Guru, Etika, Profesionalisme
