Abstract

Sectio caesarea adalah tindakan persalinan melalui operasi dengan membuat sayatan pada dinding perut ibu. Prosedur ini dapat menyebabkan perubahan fisiologis, seperti penurunan suhu tubuh yang memicu menggigil sebagai respons terhadap hipotermia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai perbandingan efektivitas penggunaan warmer blanket dan selimut biasa pada pasien post operasi sectio caesarea yang mengalami hipotermi di ruang recovery  room rsu anutapura palu 2020. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi-eksperimen dengan desain post-test only control group untuk membandingkan efektivitas warmer blanket dan selimut biasa terhadap kejadian hipotermia pada pasien pasca Sectio caesarea di Ruang Recovery Room Rumah Sakit Umum Anutapura. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 10 responden, kelompok yang menggunakan warmer blanket di ruang Recovery Room RSU Anutapura mencapai suhu normal rata-rata dalam 17,20 menit (SD 1,398; 95% CI: 16,20–18,20). Sementara itu, kelompok selimut biasa memerlukan waktu rata-rata 27,90 menit (SD 3,247; 95% CI: 25,58–30,22), dengan waktu tercepat 23 menit dan terlama 33 menit. Penggunaan warmer blanket terbukti lebih efektif dibandingkan selimut biasa dalam meningkatkan suhu tubuh pasien pascaoperasi, ditunjukkan oleh hasil uji statistik dengan nilai signifikansi p < 0,05 (p = 0,000).

Abstract

Pelaksanaan eksekusi jaminan fidusia terhadap debitur yang wanprestasi dalam perjanjian leasing serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam praktiknya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian hukum normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan dan konseptual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi Nomor 18/PUU-XVII/2019, eksekusi fidusia tidak dapat dilakukan sepihak oleh kreditur, melainkan harus melalui pengadilan jika debitur menolak menyerahkan objek jaminan. Tantangan utama dalam pelaksanaan eksekusi meliputi penyalahgunaan oleh debt collector, kurangnya pendaftaran fidusia, rendahnya kesadaran hukum masyarakat, dan lemahnya koordinasi antar lembaga. Diperlukan penguatan regulasi dan pengawasan agar pelaksanaan fidusia berjalan lebih efektif dan adil.

Abstract

Instilling the value of honesty from an early age is a fundamental step in shaping the character of a child who is resilient and moral. This study aims to qualitatively examine the effectiveness of honest character education based on the stories of the Prophet and Apostle in instilling the value of honesty in early childhood. The method used is a descriptive qualitative study with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, and documentation of learning activities. The results of the study show that the use of the stories of Prophets such as the Prophet Muhammad SAW, Prophet Ibrahim AS, and Prophet Yusuf AS as role models is very effective in strengthening children's understanding of the importance of honesty. In addition, the storytelling method has been proven to attract children's interest and make it easier to internalize moral values. The implications of these findings indicate the importance of integrating the material of the Prophet and Messenger's story in the character education curriculum at the early childhood education level.

Abstract

The problem frequently encountered today is regarding morality, ethics, behavior, and character of students occurring in both educational institutions and family environments. Although character education has been promoted through various policies, in practice there are still many students who do not demonstrate honest behavior. This study aims to analyze the need for developing a character education strengthening module based on the stories of prophets and messengers for phase B students using the R&D (Research and Development) method with the ASSURE development model, which consists of six stages: (1) Analyze Learners (analyzing student characteristics), (2) State Objectives (determining learning objectives), (3) Select Methods, Media, and Materials, (4) Utilize Media and Materials, (5) Require Learner Participation, and (6) Evaluate and Revise. Data were collected through literature studies, interviews with educators, feasibility testing of the module with experts, and trials of the module with students and teachers. The results of the study show that the development of the character education strengthening module on honesty based on the stories of prophets for phase B students began with analyzing learners; in the first stage, the researcher analyzed the identification of students' needs in understanding the concept of honesty, including an analysis of the learning situation, analysis of general student character, and analysis of basic competencies. The second stage is to state objectives, where the researcher conducted an analysis of the curriculum used in the school. The third stage is to select methods, media, and materials. At this stage, the researcher selects the methods according to the students' learning styles in school. The fourth stage is to utilize media and materials, which involves the use of modules by both teachers and students. The fifth stage is to require learner participation, which involves the participation of students in learning activities. Finally, there is evaluate and revise, at this stage, which involves evaluating and revising the modules. The results of this research showed that the validation from material experts was 90%, language experts 77.08%, and design experts 97.32%, with a percentage value in the 'Very Feasible' category. Thus, the character education strengthening module on honesty is very feasible to use. The conclusion of this research is that the honesty character education strengthening module based on the stories of prophets and messengers can serve as an effective learning medium in instilling the value of honesty in Phase B students. The recommendations from this study include further development of modules with more interactive delivery methods and integration with digital technology to enhance the appeal and effectiveness of learning.

Abstract

This research was conducted using field research. This study examines the communication strategies used by Badan Usaha Milik Desa in Pekon Tanjung Heran Village to increase community participation. The purpose of this study is to describe the communication strategies used by Badan Usaha Milik Desa in Pekon Tanjung Heran Village to increase community participation in village development programs. A descriptive qualitative research method was used in this study, utilizing data from interviews, observations, and documentation. The data from this study were analyzed using in-depth descriptive analysis and reviewed to be able to narrow down the results of the analysis properly and correctly. The results of this study found that socialization is the most effective communication strategy used by Badan Usaha Milik Desa in Pekon Tanjung Heran Village to communicate with the community. Direct socialization to the community allows Badan Usaha Milik Desa in Pekon Tanjung Heran to target all levels of society, both the older and younger generations, so that all levels of society can receive information directly from the management.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the learning strategy of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) based on PAIKEM (Active, Innovative, Creative, Effective, and Enjoyable Learning) through a literature study approach. PAIKEM is a learning approach that positions students as active subjects in the learning process, thereby increasing student engagement, understanding, and learning outcomes. The method used is a literature study by reviewing various scientific sources such as journals, books, and previous research results relevant to the application of PAIKEM in PAI learning. The results of the study indicate that the application of PAIKEM in PAI learning can increase student learning motivation, strengthen understanding of religious concepts, and develop critical and creative thinking skills. In addition, this strategy also encourages teachers to be more innovative in designing contextual and meaningful learning. Other findings indicate that the use of discussion methods, educational games, digital media, and project-based learning are important parts of PAIKEM implementation. However, there are several challenges such as limited teacher competency, infrastructure, and time management in learning. Therefore, teacher training and policy support are needed to optimize the application of PAIKEM in PAI learning. Thus, PAIKEM-based learning strategies can be an effective solution for improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education (ISE) in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive digital module based on the Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning (CTML) for teaching general reasoning and to evaluate its feasibility and effectiveness in improving learning outcomes at LKP Bintang Pelajar. The development process adopts a combination of the Dick and Carey model integrated with Borg and Gall, consisting of five stages: initial research and information gathering, planning, product development, feasibility testing, and effectiveness testing. The study involved 90 twelfth-grade students selected through convenience sampling, distributed across various testing phases including one-to-one trials, small group trials, large group trials, and effectiveness testing with treatment and control groups. The results indicate that the developed module is highly feasible for use in learning. Expert evaluations show very high feasibility, with average scores of 4.78 from material experts, 4.35 from media experts, and 4.41 from instructional design experts. Student-based feasibility tests also show positive results, with scores ranging from 4.20 to 4.30, indicating feasible to very feasible categories. Effectiveness testing demonstrates that the module significantly improves learning outcomes. The Wilcoxon test shows a significance value of α = 0.000, with a 39% increase in post-test scores compared to pre-test results. Both treatment and control groups show significant improvements, though the treatment group using the developed module achieved stronger outcomes.

Abstract

Although maqāṣid al-sharīʿah has received significant attention in various studies of Islamic law, research that specifically examines the authoritative status of maqāṣid al-sharīʿah as a methodological foundation for ijtihād in addressing contemporary issues of Islamic law remains relatively limited and tends to be normative-descriptive. This study aims to analyze the status of the authoritative force (ḥujjiyyah) of maqāṣid al-sharīʿah from the perspective of uṣūl fiqh and to explain its relevance for the development of Islamic legal ijtihād amid modern social dynamics. The study employs a qualitative approach with a library research design through a normative-philosophical lens. Data were obtained from critical analyses of the works of classical and contemporary scholars, including al-Shāṭibī, Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah, al-Shawkānī, Abdullahi Ahmed An-Na‘im, and other relevant literature, and were then analyzed thematically and comparatively to examine arguments for the authoritative status of maqāṣid and its application in ijtihād practice. The findings show that maqāṣid al-sharīʿah possesses strong legitimacy as a basis for ijtihād, since all Islamic legal rulings are essentially oriented toward the realization of maṣlaḥah (benefit) and the prevention of harm. This maṣlaḥah is realized through the preservation of the five essential interests (al-kulliyyāt al-khams), namely religion, life, intellect, lineage, and property, which are classified into the levels of ḍarūriyyāt, ḥājiyyāt, and taḥsīniyyāt. The study also affirms that maqāṣid-based ijtihād has been practiced since the time of the Prophet Muhammad and his Companions, particularly in the legal policies of ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb, who took changing social contexts into account. The conclusion emphasizes that a sound understanding of maqāṣid al-sharīʿah is a key factor in maintaining the flexibility, dynamism, and relevance of Islamic law in responding to contemporary challenges. The implications of this research include a theoretical contribution to enriching the corpus of uṣūl fiqh and contemporary ijtihād, as well as practical implications for mujtahids, academics, and Islamic legal policymakers in formulating legal solutions that are oriented toward maṣlaḥah and the development of a civil society. This study also opens avenues for further research on developing more applicable models of maqāṣidī ijtihād within modern social contexts.

Abstract

Banana (Musa paradisiaca) is a climacteric fruit with a short postharvest shelf life due to rapid respiration, moisture loss, ethylene-induced ripening, peel browning, and microbial deterioration. Although synthetic plastic packaging can effectively reduce water loss, its non-biodegradable nature and potential to create unfavorable storage microenvironments encourage the development of sustainable bio-based coatings. This study investigated chitosan–pectin composite films as biodegradable coatings for banana preservation. Chitosan and pectin solutions were prepared using microwave-assisted extraction to improve dissolution homogeneity, followed by blending at various chitosan-to-pectin volume ratios. Glycerol was added as a plasticizer, and the resulting films were evaluated through weight loss analysis, visual observation, tensile testing, Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy, and Scanning Electron Microscopy. The results showed that coating application significantly reduced banana weight loss compared with uncoated samples. Synthetic plastic exhibited the strongest moisture barrier, but the chitosan–pectin formulation with a 50:50 ratio showed the best performance among bio-based coatings, reducing weight loss to 9.05%, 16.53%, and 19.44% on days 5, 10, and 15 of storage, respectively. Visual observation also indicated that the chitosan–pectin coating delayed peel browning and maintained better banana appearance up to 15 days. FTIR analysis confirmed intermolecular interactions between chitosan and pectin through shifts in O–H/N–H and C–N absorption bands, suggesting hydrogen bonding and electrostatic interactions. SEM images further revealed that pectin incorporation produced a more continuous and integrated film surface than chitosan alone. These findings demonstrate that chitosan–pectin composite coating, particularly at a 50:50 ratio, has strong potential as an environmentally friendly alternative to synthetic plastic for extending banana shelf life.

Abstract

The strategic role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in enhancing the quality of instruction has received considerable attention in various studies; however, comprehensive analyses of their multifaceted roles—as educators, mentors, facilitators, and motivators—within the context of madrasah ibtidaiyah remain limited. This study aims to analyze the role of PAI teachers in improving students’ learning quality at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Amanah Jeneponto. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using a case study design. Research informants included the school principal, PAI teachers, and other relevant stakeholders selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected via interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, involving data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that PAI teachers fulfill multiple roles: as educators delivering instruction grounded in Islamic values, as mentors shaping students’ character, as facilitators fostering a conducive learning environment, and as motivators enhancing students’ enthusiasm for learning. Supporting factors include the teachers’ relevant academic qualifications and the availability of adequate learning resources. The primary challenge lies in the diverse characteristics of students, necessitating adaptive pedagogical approaches. The study concludes that the holistic role of PAI teachers significantly contributes to the academic and spiritual development of students. The findings underscore the need for educational institutions to strengthen both the pedagogical and religious competencies of PAI teachers to ensure effective, value-oriented learning.
