Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan permainan ular tangga dan mengetahui hasil pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada keterampilan berhitung pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Rantewringin. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri Rantewringin dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak seratus tiga puluh delapan orang, sedangkan sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas IV yang berjumlah delapan belas anak.  Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi, lembar observasi, dan hasil penilaian formatif. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data dan FGD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan permainan ular tangga atau ular tangga yang dilakukan sesuai skenario pembelajaran akan berdampak sangat baik terhadap kemampuan berhitung siswa. Dampak baik ini dapat dilihat dari data pra siklus atau kondisi awal nilai kemampuan berhitung rata-rata enam puluh enam dan ketuntasan belajar tiga puluh delapan persen, pada siklus I hasil belajar rata-rata meningkat menjadi delapan puluh tiga dan ketuntasan meningkat drastis menjadi delapan puluh tiga persen, dan pada akhir siklus II rata-rata pembelajaran menjadi sembilan puluh persen dan ketuntasan belajar maksimal seratus persen. Berdasarkan data tersebut disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan permainan ular tangga terlaksana dengan baik dan berdampak sangat baik terhadap kemampuan berhitung siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Rantewringin. Penelitian ini hanya membahas tentang pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan dampaknya terhadap aspek kognitif, diharapkan penelitian kedepannya dapat memperluas pengamatan dampak pembelajaran

Abstract

The development of science and technology has brought major changes in the world of education. In the learning process in tertiary institutions, along with the complexity of the problems in learning activities, student competencies are no longer limited to mastery of material content but also need 21st-century competencies. This research was conducted to develop web-based 21st-century oriented e-modules for DDPMIPA lectures that validate and know the response of e-module users. This type of research is developed using the ADDIE model. The data collection method uses a questionnaire. Research data were obtained using e-module validation sheets and user response questionnaires. The material and media expert validators carried out the validation test. The trial was conducted on three students, and the limited trial was conducted on 15 students. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive and qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that the e-module is categorized as very valid (88.5%) in terms of content feasibility, presentation feasibility aspects, linguistic aspects, and media eligibility aspects. The user response questionnaire also shows that the e-module gets very good user responses (87.93%). It was concluded that the resulting 21st-century skill-oriented e-modules using Google sites were valid and very good to apply in DDPMIPA learning.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in chemical bonding material in class X MIPA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. This type of research is experimental research with a pretest-posttest design. Sample selection was carried out using a homogeneity test so that the samples obtained from the research were students in class X IPA 3 as the experimental class and students in class X IPA 4 as the control class. The experimental class applied the SAVI learning model while the control class was given learning without SAVI The research results show that learning using the SAVI learning model assisted by interactive e-modules can have a positive influence on student learning outcomes. The results of the research that have been carried out can be concluded that the application of the SAVI learning model assisted by interactive e-modules in the experimental class obtained higher learning outcomes than the control class that applied the scientific model, the difference in the increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental class and the control class obtained an average score of 63.19 or 63.19% in the experimental class with a fairly effective category while in the control class the average was 3.89 0r 3.89% in SAVI learning model assisted by interactive e-modules is quite effective in improving student learning outcomes in chemical bonding material.Key Words: SAVI (Somatic, Audiotory, Visual and Intellectual), Interactive E-module,Learning Outcomes, Chemical Bonds

Abstract

Technology's darting advancement made digital literacy a key component in pre-service teacher professional development. Their digital literacy ability is reflected in their teaching, including designing learning media such as digital story-telling. Hence, this study is designed to understand how EFL pre-service teachers access information as a part of digital literacy to create digital storytelling learning media. The data were gathered from 28 students of the English Education Department in the Cross-Cultural Understanding course by having them write diaries to reflect on their experiences in designing digital storytelling learning media. Using a narrative inquiry method, the data were analyzed through three steps: repeatedly reading, coding, and categorizing it into thematic headings. The findings from data analysis indicate the mastery of various dimensions of digital literacy, namely photo-visual, reproductive, branching, informational, and social-emotional literacy, by EFL pre-service teachers, substantially contributed to the quality of teaching and student engagement in digital-based learning. This research underscores the need to integrate digital literacy training into teacher education programs to better prepare future educators for the demands of modern, technology-driven classrooms.

Abstract

Energy is one of the basic human needs. Economic growth and population growth in a country which continues to increase is directly proportional to the growth in energy needs required by society. Indonesia is the largest energy user in Southeast Asia, namely more than 36% of Southeast Asia's primary energy use. Utilization of the energy used will reduce the increase in production costs for an industry. The use of energy is better known as energy conservation. Energy and exergy analysis based on the first and second laws of thermodynamics is used to analyze the thermal system of industrial units. This can be applied to equipment units in the fertilizer industry to identify sources of inefficiency, determine their location and the amount of exergy destruction that occur. To reduce exergy destruction, this can be done by modifying the operating conditions of the package boiler. The results show that 94.3% of the total exergy destruction from the boiler package is obtained from the evaporator component with a value of 2.7 x 108 kJ/hr Modification of the operating conditions of the evaporator is carried out by reducing Boiler Feed Water (BFW) inlet temperature with T 100C (196 – 116 oC). The decrease BFW temperature will increase the amount of required latent heat and reduce the convection heat that will be carried by the flue gas to generate superheated steam. Optimization of the BFW temperature is performed be calculating the flue gas temperature and exergoeconomic analysis. Exergoeconomic analysis is performed by calculating the cost rate of exergy destruction (ĊD,k) and exergoeconomic factor (fk). The results obtained were that the temperature was optimum of BFW is at 161°C which resulted the reduction of exergy destruction of 6,2x106 kJ/hr and resulting difference cost losses based on actual data (196 oC) of Rp 1,370,354,743/hr. Exergetic Sustainability Index (ESI) used to demonstrate how reducing a system's environmental impact can be achieved by reducing its exergy consumption (destruction and losses) or increasing its exergetic efficiency. In this research, ESI Value was achieved at 0.918.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui persentase miskonsepsi peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMAN 8 Pekanbaru dan SMAN 6 Pekanbaru pada konsep materi asam basa disemester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dan pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan Februari-April 2023. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMAN 8 Pekanbaru dan SMAN 6 Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 178 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah soal pilihan ganda empat tingkat. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data adalah tes diagnostik. Hasil identifikasi di SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru yang termasuk dalam kategori miskonsepsi sebesar 39.3% dengan kategori sedang. Persentase peserta didik di SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru yang termasuk dalam kategori miskonsepsi sebesar 39.23% dengan kategori sedang.

Abstract

Production activities carried out by PT X Tangerang have high risk to cause a fire hazard, which in 2010 there was an incident of forklift. 90% of stationery workers did not have enough knowledge about fire extinguisher. This study aimed to analyze the effect of educational video towards the level of knowledge about fire extinguisher for stationery workers at PT X Tangerang. This research was an experimental study with quasi experimental method with nonequivalent control group design. Respondents were taken from stationery workers at PT X Tangerang with 21 workers in each experimental and control group. The sampling technique being used was purposive sampling and simple random sampling. The result of the analysis in the experimental group using the Marginal Homogeneity test showed that there was a significant effect (p = 0.000) in level of knowledge about fire extinguisher before and after received treatment with educational video, meanwhile no significant effect (p = 0.157) for those who was in the control group to their level of knowledge about fire extinguisher that was not given treatment. The result of the Chi Square test obtained a p value of 0.008 which means there was a significant effect from the educational videos towards the level of knowledge about fire extinguisher between the experimental group and the control group. The conclusion of this study is educational video has a significant effect towards the level of knowledge about fire extinguisher for stationery workers at PT X Tangerang.

Abstract

Musculoskeletal Disorders has became the most work-related injuries in the world. Besides, musculoskeletal Disorders is dangerous enough because it could raise chronic pain and decreased someone’s life quality. Musculoskeletal disorders caused by many of factors there are individual characters and physical work-load. This research aim to determine the correlation between workers characters (age, gender, body mass index, work period) and physical work-load to musculoskeletal disorders among to PT So Good Food Unit-UHT packing workers. This type of research used analytical obervational designed with cross sectional. The parameter observed was  Musculosceletal Disorders measured with Nordic Body Map Questionaire. The respondents of this research were the packing workers in PT So Good Food Unit-UHT Boyolali with the number 96 out of 121 workers. The sampling technique used Simple Random Sampling. Based on Pearson test showed there was correlation between age and musculoskeletal disorders (p value = 0.000), there was correation between body mass index with musculoskeletal disorders (p value = 0.001), and there was correlation between physical work-load and musculoskeletal disorders (P value = 0.000). The Eta correlation shown that there was correlation between gender and musculoskeletal disorders (p value = 0.005). From this research, it can be concluded that there are significant correlation between worker’s characteristics and physical work-load to musculoskeletal disorders. Researchers suggest that the further researches are needed to research the others factors related to Musculoskeletal Disorders excluded this research.

Abstract

Office workers X Karanganyar are computer users, with an average duration of computer use in a day of more than 4 hours. The average worker has been working for more than three years and is still exposed to lighting intensity that is less than standard (< 300 lux) with an eighthour workday, putting them at risk of experiencing eye fatigue. This study aims to determine the relationship between lighting intensity, working period, and duration of computer use with complaints of eye fatigue in Karanganyar X Office workers. This study uses an analytical observational method with a cross-sectional approach. The research population was 80 people. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with criteria of age 50 and working on a computer for at least 2 hours continuously, and the research sample is 45 people. Measurement of lighting intensity using a Lux meter and eye fatigue using a Visual FatigueIndex (VFI) questionnaire. The results of the bivariate analysis with Somers'd showed that there was a relationship between lighting intensity and complaints of eye fatigue (p-value = 0.030, r = 0.333), there was a relationship between years of service and complaints of eye fatigue (p-value = 0.003, r = 0.457), and there is a relationship between the duration of computer use and complaints of eye fatigue (p-value = 0.028, r = 0.326). To reduce eye fatigue, it can be done by setting up the layout of the workplace, taking breaks in between work, and getting regular eye health checks.

Abstract

Background: Combined injectable contraceptives contain the hormones estrogen and progestin, while DMPA contraceptives only contain progestin. This difference can affect the response of the tube to the contraception. Purpose of Writing: to determine the difference between the use of combined injection contraception and medroxyprogesterone acetate (DMPA) contraception with changes in body weight in TPMB Sri Haryati. Research Methods: The method in this study was an experimental design (quasi experiment) with a two group pretest posttest design. In this study, there were divided into two groups, namely the group using combined injection contraception and the group using the medroxyprogesterone acetate contraception (DMPA). Research Results The results of the independent test sample test obtained Asymp. Sig (2 – Sided) has a value of 0.946, because 0.946 > 0.05, the hypothesis is rejected. This means that there is no difference between combination injections and DPMA injections on weight changes before and after the use of combination injections and DPMA injections. Conclusions and Suggestions: The results of this study are expected that midwives can provide health education about family planning using injections in providing counseling both combination and DPMA have a risk of weight gain.
