Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Ninja Warrior Kids activities on gross motor development of children aged 5-6 years in learning activities at Amalan Foundation Kindergarten, Padang City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The population in this study were all Amalan Foundation Kindergarten students in the 2024/2025 school year. The sampling technique used was cluster sampling, with Bintang class as the experimental group (12 children) and Bulan class as the control group (12 children). The experimental group received treatment in the form of Ninja Warrior Kids activities, while the control group followed the traditional game of engklek. Data were obtained through pre-test and post-test which were analyzed using the independent sample t-test statistical test. The results showed that there was a significant influence between Ninja Warrior Kids activities on children's gross motor development. This is evidenced by the significance value (2-tailed) of 0.017 < 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that Ninja Warrior Kids activities are effective as an alternative learning media to develop gross motor skills in early childhood. The findings of this research have significant implications for early childhood education, particularly in enhancing motor development through engaging physical activities. By integrating Ninja Warrior Kids activities into the curriculum, educators can promote physical activity that not only fosters gross motor skills but also encourages social interaction and teamwork among children. This experimental research highlights the importance of innovative approaches in early childhood education, suggesting that such activities can be a valuable addition to traditional learning methods

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi seberapa besar pengaruh permainan estafet bait lagu terhadap pengembangan kemampuan sosial anak usia dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu (quasi-experiment). Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 40 anak yang terdaftar di TK Bhakti Bunda Padang, yang dikelompokkan ke dalam kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dari empat kelas yang berbeda. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penilaian lisan dan observasi terhadap perilaku sosial anak selama kegiatan berlangsung. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak yang terlibat dalam permainan estafet bait lagu mengalami peningkatan kemampuan sosial yang lebih signifikan dibandingkan dengan anak-anak dalam kelompok kontrol. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas bermain yang mengandung unsur musik dapat menjadi alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam mendukung perkembangan sosial anak di usia prasekolah.

Abstract

Conventional learning results in low mastery of early childhood skills, so the use of digital media is necessary in the learning process. This research aims to develop and test the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of digital-based learning media in the form of e-comics at Kindergarten. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Validation was conducted by three experts, and the trial subjects were students at Pembina II State Kindergarten, Batam City. Data collection was conducted through validation, practicality, and effectiveness questionnaires, and then analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The research results indicate that the developed e-comic media is highly suitable for use, with validation results from subject matter experts at 100%, language experts at 90.4%, and media experts at 90%. The response from educators and students towards this media is also very positive. The practicality test obtained a percentage of 88.6% (very practical category), while the effectiveness test showed a figure of 88.75% (very effective category). Thus, the developed e-comic has proven to be valid, practical, and effective in enhancing the vocabulary of early childhood children and is suitable for use as a learning medium in kindergartens.

Abstract

Anak yang belum berkembang perkembangan motorik halusnya, diantarnya mengalami masalah seperti anak menggenggam pensil terlalu kuat, menggunakan seluruh tangan (bukan jari-jari), kekuatan otot jari yang lemah seperti, melipat kertas, menempel potongan kertas pada gambar dan memotong kertas menggunakan gunting, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media video tutorial berbasis bahan alam untuk meningkatkan motorik halus anak di PAUD Sayang Ibu Kota Padang Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang berbentuk eksperimen factorial 2x2 dengan populasi berjumlah 30 orang anak dan teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah anak di PAUD Sayang Ibu Kota Padang dengan kelompok eksperimen yang berjumlah 10 orang anak. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa lembar observasi dan lembar pernyataan. Kemudian data diolah dengan uji perbedaan (t-test) dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 27.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media video tutorial untuk meningkatkan   motorik halus anak, dapat dilihat melalui uji-t dengan hasil 0,001 < 0,05. (2) Terdapat pengaruh penggunaan bahan alam untuk meningkatkan motorik halus anak, dapat dilihat dari uji-t dengan hasil 0,000 < 0,05. (3) Terdapat penggunaan media video tutorial berbasis bahan alam untuk meningkatkan motorik halus anak, dapat dilhat melalui uji-t dengan hasil 0,000 < 0,05.

Abstract

Latar belakang permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendidik masih kesulitan dalam pembelajaran sains yaitu tidak semua guru belum memahami pembelajaran sains untuk anak usia dini sementara lingkungan alam sangat mendukung dalam proses pembelajaran sains. Kemudian kurangnya pemahaman guru terhadap metode Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) pada anak usia dini menjadi pemicu menghambat perkembangan pembelajaran yang optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Sains dengan pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) di Taman Kanak-kanak. Berdasarkan pengamatan dan wawancara penulis di beberapa Taman Kanak-kanak pada Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian gabungan (mix methods) dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran “Explanatory mixed Methods design”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan penelitian kuaantitatif dengan penyebaran angket diperoleh yaitu seberapa besar presentase guru melaksanakan Pembelajaran Sains dengan pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) memiliki nilai 83 % dengan kategori tinggi. Dan dengan hasil kualitatif yaitu Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Sains dengan pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) di Taman Kanak-kanak Kecamatan Luhak Nan Duo Kabupaten Pasaman Barat yaitu 1) Asesment, 2) Pemetaan, 3) Pembelajaran pada anak usia dini adapun instrumen penelitian yaitu , a) Eksplorasi, b) Mengamati, c) Mengklarifikasi, d) Perkiraan, e) Membandingkan.

Abstract

Art can not be separated from human life, including for early childhood development. Besides having aesthetic value, art can also stimulate children's creativity. Early childhood education which is the forerunner to the nation's educational process seeks to develop potential in various aspects such as cognitive, language, art, moral, religion, motor, social emotional. One aspect of physical development that needs to be developed is the motor aspect of children. Early childhood motor development is as important as other aspects of development. If the child is unable to perform physical movements properly will foster insecurity and negative self-concept in doing physical movements. One form of children's motor stimulus is through dance learning, where motor development includes the development of gross motor and fine motor. The motor ability of each child is different depending on the level of maturity. Therefore, parents or teachers need to provide space and time for children to do activities that can train the child's rough muscles and provide goods and equipment for children that can be pushed, raised, thrown or carried.

Abstract

The age development influences children's play. Children prefer online games and gadgets. The inherent impression of the use of gadgets by children today is being addicted to playing online games. This negative impact should make observers, educators and researchers more sensitive in introducing various forms of games that have existed for generations, such as traditional games. This study aims to identify games that are able to stimulate children's social skills in their early childhood. The research method in this paper is library research or library research. Some of these traditional games must be introduced to children to stimulate children's social skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurang berkembangnya kreativitas seni, kurang beragamnya permainan yang mampu mengembangkan kreativitas seni anak dan masih adanya pembelajaran yang monoton pada anak usia dini sehingga belum adanya inovasi yang lebih kreatif dalam kegiatannya. Permasalahan yang diungkap dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana mengembangkan kreativitas seni anak usia dini mellui kegiatan menyusun daun. Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan yang terjadi pada kreativitas seni anak melalui kegiatan menyusun daun pada kelompok B TK Islam Silaturahmi Padang Pariaman tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian setelah mendapatkan perlakuan menggunakan kegiatan menyusun daun, menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari kreativitas anak kelompok B TK TK Islam Silaturahmi Padang Pariaman tahun ajaran 2019/2020.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of creativity that children can develop through the application of collage activities. The type of collage used is collage that uses natural ingredients. This research was carried out in the Habibi Pariaman Kindergarten. The population in this study were all children in the Habibi Pariaman Kindergarten and the samples used were 5 children in the Habibi Pariaman Kindergarten. The analysis technique used is purposive sampling which is done through the application of collage activities in school learning activities. The results showed that children's artistic abilities can be stimulated through the implementation of collage activities in school. Through collage activities, children look very enthusiastic in developing their artistic abilities and creativity. It is recommended that PAUD teachers use collage activities using natural media to enhance their creativity abilities.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of modified bombik play activities on the creativity of children aged 5–6 years at Sani Ashilla II Kindergarten in Padang, Indonesia. Initial classroom observations indicated low levels of creativity, marked by children’s dependency on teacher models and lack of initiative. Employing a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental One Group Pretest–Posttest Design, the study involved 12 purposively selected participants from a population of 82. Data were gathered using structured observation sheets based on early childhood creativity indicators and analyzed with normality, homogeneity, and paired-sample t-tests. Results revealed a statistically significant improvement in creativity scores (t = 32.601 > t-table = 2.131; p < 0.05), demonstrating the effectiveness of the modified bombik play intervention. The findings underscore the pedagogical value of culturally contextualized and developmentally appropriate play-based media in fostering children's imagination, initiative, and expressive abilities. This study contributes to early childhood education by offering empirical support for integrating creative media innovations, particularly those that are low-cost, tactile, and visually stimulating. However, the absence of a control group and the small sample size limit the generalizability of the results. Moreover, the short intervention duration may not capture long-term developmental impacts. Future research is recommended to involve larger and more diverse samples, utilize experimental or quasi-experimental designs with control groups, and explore longitudinal effects of creative play. These steps would strengthen the evidence base for incorporating play-based strategies into national early childhood curricula and policy frameworks.
