Abstract

This study investigates Generation Z's perceptions of workplace leadership, emphasizing the core dimensions of Self-Determination Theory (SDT): autonomy, competence, and relatedness. The research aims to explore how these dimensions influence job satisfaction, motivation, and engagement among Generation Z employees. Through qualitative interviews, the study examines how individuals view leadership that promotes autonomy, challenges their capabilities, and nurtures meaningful relationships. The findings reveal that Generation Z highly values autonomy, feeling more motivated and trusted when granted the freedom to make decisions. Competence also emerges as a significant factor, with participants favoring tasks that test their abilities and constructive feedback that supports their growth. Additionally, the relatedness dimension proves crucial, as employees feel more engaged and loyal to leaders who understand their personal aspirations and cultivate inclusive, supportive environments. These insights carry important implications for leadership practices, suggesting that effective leaders should empower employees by fostering autonomy, providing opportunities for development, and building strong interpersonal connections. The results offer valuable contributions to understanding how to successfully manage and motivate Generation Z in the modern workplace.

Abstract

Elderly is someone aged 60 years and over. The elderly are said to be at risk for various degenerative diseases compared to young people. One of the degenerative diseases that often occurs without symptoms is hypertension. Hypertension is called the “silent killer” because it can appear without any symptoms or warning signs, so many are not aware of it. The causes of delays in handling patients with hypertension are the majority of patients coming to health facilities when complications have occurred, and the lack of public access to health services, resulting in a lack of control over their disease state, especially in the elderly. Therefore, by conducting counseling related to hypertension, it is hoped that the role of cadres in preventing and controlling hypertension in the elderly can run optimally. This counseling aims to increase the understanding of cadres on the prevention and control of hypertension in the elderly. The main target of this program is health cadres in Cikondang Hamlet, Datar Village, Dayeuh Luhur District, Cilacap Regency. This activity includes an initial survey related to hypertension in the elderly, and conducting counseling on prevention and control of hypertension in the elderly using counseling methods and interactive discussions. The result of this community service activity is an increase in the understanding of health cadres related to Hypertension, especially efforts to prevent and control hypertension in the elderly in Cikondang Hamlet, Datar Village, Dayeuh Luhur District, Cilacap Regency.

Abstract

Stock management at PT. Gasindo Raya Utama is a system designed to simplify stock management and facilitate accurate decision-making processes. The purpose of this system is to design an information system that supports the management of 3 kg LPG stocks at PT. Gasindo Raya Utama by implementing the Safety Stock and Reorder Point methods. This system is intended to help the company prevent stock shortages and determine the timing and quantity of reorder effectively. The Safety Stock method is applied to calculate the minimum reserve stock required to anticipate fluctuations in demand or supply delays. Meanwhile, the Reorder Point method is used to determine the reorder point based on daily consumption levels and lead times. The implementation of this system is expected to improve the efficiency of stock management, minimize the risk of stockouts, and ensure that LPG distribution runs smoothly in accordance with the needs of the community.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how it affects and determines the improvement of students' speaking skills after using the cooverative type paired story telling learning model. The design used in this study is one group with a pre-experimental design, where this research is carried out in one class. The instruments used in this study were to take data in the form of observation sheets, oral and written tests to measure students' speaking skills. The data was returned twice, before and after the treatment, to see the improvement of the students' speaking skills. The results of this study stated that the speaking skills after applying the cooverative type paired story telling model were declared to be very good with the acquisition from the first and second observation sheets with a score of 86.8. The results of the hypothesis test of students' speaking ability which can be proven by the sig. (2-tailed) is smaller than significant (0.00 < 0.05) and the calculated t value is greater than the t table (15.56 > 2.201) then Ha is accepted. Which means that there is an increase in speaking skills in using storytelling.

Abstract

Red ginger and angkak are often combined in Chinese cuisine to maintain health. Both of these ingredients are known to have potent antioxidant activity respectively, but the combination of red ginger and angkak has never been studied. The purpose of this research is to see the effect of the amount of red ginger on the percentage of yield and antioxidant activity in the combination of red ginger and angkak. Red ginger and angkak extracts are combined, each ingredient is extracted singly. The amount of red ginger was varied, namely 10, 20, 30, and 40 g. In comparison, the number of angkak remains at 55 g. Both materials were extracted by kinetic heat at a temperature of 600C and a stirring speed of 800 rpm for 120 minutes. The yield percentage of the viscous extract obtained was calculated, and its antioxidant activity was analyzed using the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) method. In addition, the chromatogram profile test of red ginger and angkak was also carried out. Increasing the amount of red ginger in the red ginger - angkak extract did not have a significant effect (p>0.05) on the yield percentage but had a significant effect (p<0.05) by increasing the antioxidant activity of the red ginger - angkak extract. The combined extracts' antioxidant activity was less than the red ginger extract. The ginger chromatogram profile shows ten different spots, while angkak has three different spots.

Abstract

Posyandu memiliki peran penting dalam memantau kesehatan balita, lansia, dan ibu hamil. Di Desa Tunggulpandean, terdapat empat posyandu aktif, yaitu Ngudi Waras I, Ngudi Waras II, Satria Muda, dan Melati Putih. Namun, pencatatan data dan pembuatan laporan masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan buku, yang rentan terhadap kesalahan pencatatan, kerusakan, serta kehilangan data. Masalah ini menyebabkan keterlambatan dalam penyusunan laporan, kurang optimalnya pemantauan kondisi kesehatan, serta sulitnya mengakses riwayat kesehatan peserta posyandu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem E-Posyandu berbasis Google Cloud SQL guna mendukung sistem pencatatan data secara digital dan mempermudah pemantauan kesehatan masyarakat. Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan metode prototype, dengan perancangan sistem menggunakan diagram UML dan ERD, serta diimplementasikan dalam bentuk aplikasi web menggunakan framework laravel. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan metode black box testing untuk memastikan sistem berfungsi sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu mencatat data kesehatan secara real-time, menyajikan grafik pertumbuhan balita, serta mengirimkan notifikasi WhatsApp terkait jadwal posyandu dan informasi kesehatan lainnya. Dengan diterapkannya sistem ini, pencatatan data menjadi lebih sistematis, kader lebih mudah mengakses informasi, serta layanan kesehatan dapat diberikan dengan lebih cepat dan tepat. sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan posyandu serta meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya pemantauan kesehatan secara berkala.

Abstract

This study examines research trends regarding the prediction of academic achievement using machine learning. Research in the field of academic achievement is currently continuing to develop, but has not been explored comprehensively in a bibliometric context. The visualization provided includes a map of publication development using machine learning methods based on country, analysis of bibliographic pairs and keywords used. To find out the visualization results, bibliographic analysis was used using VOSviewer. The data used in this analysis were 76 articles collected from the Scopus database from 2018-2023. From the results of the analysis, it is known that research related to academic achievement still shows a growing trend in publications in the field of discussion of factors or predictors that influence academic achievement as well as research that proposes or evaluates models for predicting academic achievement. The research results show that although machine learning techniques such as Random Forest and Support Vector Machine are often used in academic achievement prediction research. Future research could consider developing a more adaptive and comprehensive approach regarding the contribution of specific factors that influence the accuracy of more in-depth prediction models in this field.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis miskonsepsi peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal bangun datar segiempat. Permasalahan pada penelitian ini terkait miskonsepsi dalam pembelajaran matematika, khususnya pada materi bangun datar segiempat, serta penyebab dan dampaknya terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mampu meminimalisir miskonsepsi pada soal bangun datar segiempat yang dirasakan peserta didik. Peneliti juga membatasi masalah yang akan diteliti yaitu pada peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri Cibungkul Tasikmalaya pada materi bangun datar segiempat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV yang berjumlah 30. Penelitian ini di laksanakan di SD Negeri Cibungkul Tasikamalaya. Variabel Independen sering disebut sebagai variabel bebas atau X “Miskonsepsi peserta didik”. Variabel dependen terikat atau Y “Bangun datar segiempat kelas IV SD Negeri Cibungkul”. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini terbagi menjadi teknik tes dan non tes. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawwancara, dokumentasi, intrumen penelitian, dan pengembangan instrumen penelitian. Kemudian untuk selanjutnya terdapat validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen untuk menguji instrumen yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik S6, S10, S27, dan S28 mengalami berbagai miskonsepsi pada materi bangun datar segiempat, baik klasifikasional, korelasional, maupun teoritikal, disebabkan oleh intuisi yang salah dan penalaran yang tidak lengkap.

Abstract

Penerapan teknologi dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Salah satu teknologi yang dapat digunakan adalah Kahoot, aplikasi yang memungkinkan guru untuk membuat assessment digital interaktif. Pelatihan penggunaan Kahoot bagi guru di Kecamatan Karangnunggal, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam menyusun dan mengoperasikan alat assessment digital. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa guru yang sebelumnya kurang terampil dalam menggunakan teknologi, kini mampu mengembangkan dan memanfaatkan Kahoot untuk penilaian yang lebih efektif, meningkatkan motivasi dan partisipasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode dari pelatihan adalah diskusi, simulasi dan praktek dengan 20 peserta. Pelatihan penggunaan Kahoot untuk guru sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Karangnunggal bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan dalam menyusun dan mengoperasikan assessment digital. Pelatihan ini mencakup tiga tahap: penyusunan instrumen berbasis HOTS, pengenalan aplikasi Kahoot, dan praktik pengoperasian Kahoot untuk penilaian interaktif. Hasilnya, guru mampu mengintegrasikan Kahoot dalam pembelajaran secara efektif. Pelatihan Kahoot untuk guru di Kecamatan Karangnunggal berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan digital mereka dalam menyusun dan mengoperasikan assessment digital. Guru kini lebih siap mengimplementasikan assessment berbasis teknologi, meningkatkan kualitas penilaian, serta menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang interaktif dan inovatif di tingkat pendidikan dasar. Abstract

Borax is a chemical used in making detergent and insect repellent. However, there is still a lot of use of borax as an additional ingredient in food with the aim of preservative and improving texture, if borax enters the human body it can cause toxic effects. This research aims to identify and measure borax levels in meatballs and wet noodles sold at the Traditional Market. Identification of borax is carried out using qualitative methods, namely organoleptic tests, numeric paper, and flame, while quantitative determination of borax levels can be done using the visible spectrophotometric method. The analytical method validation parameters carried out are linearity, LOD, LOQ, accuracy, and precision. In this study, the maximum wavelength obtained was 546.8 nm and incubation was 35 minutes. It was identified that 8 samples of wet noodles sold at the Traditional Market contained borax at levels of 9,458.04 - 26,279.46 mg/kg. These results show that the use of borax in food is still occurring and violates the regulations set by BPOM regulations. Keywords:          Meatballs, Borax, Turmeric Paper, Wet Noodles, Spectrophotometry Visible   Abstrak Boraks adalah bahan kimia yang digunakan dalam pembuatan deterjen dan pengusir serangga. Namun, masih banyak penyalahgunaan boraks sebagai bahan tambahan pada makanan bertujuan sebagai pengawet dan memperbaiki tekstur. Jika boraks masuk ke dalam tubuh manusia dapat menimbulkan efek toksik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengukur kadar boraks pada bakso dan mie basah yang dijual di Pasar Tradisional. Identifikasi boraks dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif yaitu uji organoleptik, kertas tumerik, dan nyala api, sedangkan penentuan kadar boraks secara kuantitatif dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode spektrofotometri visibel. Parameter validasi metode analisis yang dilakukan adalah linieritas, LOD, LOQ, akurasi, dan presisi. Pada penelitian ini, panjang gelombang maksimum yang diperoleh adalah 546,8 nm dan inkubasi 35 menit. Teridentifikasi 8 sampel mie basah yang dijual di Pasar Tradisional mengandung boraks dengan kadar yaitu 9.458,04-26.279,46 mg/kg. Hasil ini menunjukkan masih terjadi penggunaan boraks pada makanan dan melanggar peraturan yang ditetapkan oleh peraturan BPOM.
