Abstract

Numeracy skills are important skills for students in helping students solve everyday problems and support decision-making based on data and mathematical logic. Numeracy skills are integrated with everyday problems such as population. This study aims to train students' numeracy skills through training integrated with population issues, especially nutritional status based on Body Mass Index (BMI). This training activity was carried out at SMPN 1 Plumbon with 30 IPS and PMR extracurricular students. The training activity went through three stages, namely the planning, implementation and evaluation stages. The planning stage is the team coordinating with the supervising teacher regarding the training concept and creating materials. The implementation stage is carried out twice, namely the presentation of materials by the resource person and the practice of calculating BMI using the Microsoft Excel application. The evaluation stage is to help students interpret the results of data processing in the form of infographics.

Abstract

Bumi Harapan village is located in West Toili District, Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi Province possessing strategic nature potential. Responding to the potential, the Village Government has built an education-based tourist destination along the riverside called the Arboretum Tourist Park. Yet, this project met significant obstacles so it has not optimally developed as the Village Government planned before. To solve the problems, the community service team through the Community Partnership Empowerment program revitalized the Arboretum Tourist Park by integrating transformational skills education to develop a more sustainable community in Bumi Harapan village. In this community service project, the team implemented an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. It focuses on community empowerment in managing existing assets, which is the Arboretum Tourist Park. The results of the project indicated an enhancement in the quality of the Arboretum Tourist Park which attracted more visits of local tourists. Besides, educating the Village-Owned Enterprises, the Wana Sari team with transformative skills has provided them with essential knowledge and skills to realize more effective management of the Arboretum Tourist Park. This community service program has contributed not only to the quality enhancement of the Arboretum Tourist Park but also to a progressive strengthening of community participation in managing sustainable tourism.

Abstract

The Arboretum Tourism Park, located in Bumi Harapan, holds great potential to become a leading tourism destination in Central Sulawesi, particularly in Banggai. Therefore, this community service aims to assist the village government in developing the Arboretum Tourism Park through the creation of educational recreational facilities and the implementation of digital promotion strategies. The Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) method was applied to address the partner’s needs. The results showed significant improvement in the development of educational recreational facilities, increasing from 20 percent to 90 percent, marked by the establishment of three attractions. Furthermore, technical guidance on digital promotion strategies enhanced the managers’ skills from 40 percent to 95 percent, as evidenced by the establishment of an official website and social media platforms for the park. The contribution of this program lies in increasing the park’s attractiveness, which is expected to boost tourist visits and, ultimately, contribute to improving the village economy. This program supports sustainable village-based tourism development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of fintech and asset utilization on financial performance, with operational efficiency as a mediating variable, in digital banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Using quantitative data from digital banks' financial reports for the 2021–2024 period, this study examines how the development of financial technology (fintech) and asset utilization affect banks' profitability and financial stability through increased operational efficiency. Sampling in this study was conducted considering relevant and specific criteria to ensure the results reflect the actual conditions of the population studied. The sample was selected from digital banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2024, with complete financial and operational data for at least the past two years. Inclusion criteria included 15 digital banks officially operating and having complete financial reports from 2021 to 2024, representing 75 sample units. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data analysis tool used was SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The analysis shows that fintech significantly accelerates service innovation and expands market access, thus contributing significantly positively to operational efficiency and financial performance. Optimal asset utilization also plays a crucial role in reducing credit risk and improving portfolio quality, ultimately improving operational efficiency and financial performance. Operational efficiency has been shown to contribute significantly positively to financial performance. Operational efficiency has been shown to be a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between fintech, asset utilization, and financial performance. This study provides important implications for policymakers and digital bank management in optimizing operational strategies and technology investments to enhance competitiveness in the increasingly dynamic digital financial market.

Introduction: Pregnancy is a natural biological process that is crucial in a woman's life. During this time, women face various challenges, ranging from drastic physical changes, hormonal fluctuations, the responsibilities of being a mother-to-be, to concerns about fetal safety and the delivery process. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between sleep patterns and anxiety among pregnant women in the BLUD UPTD Atari Jaya Community Health Center (Puskesmas Atari Jaya) work area. Methods: This study was quantitative and designed using an observational cross-sectional approach. The population was 139 pregnant women at the UPTD Atari Jaya Community Health Center. The sample was 58 pregnant women at the Obstetrics Polyclinic within the UPTD Atari Jaya Community Health Center. The chi-square test was used in the bivariate analysis. Results: Of the 58 respondents, the sleep patterns of pregnant women were mostly in the good category (27 respondents (46.6%). Of the 58 respondents, the anxiety of pregnant women was mostly in the not anxious category (30 respondents (51.7%). The data analysis results obtained an X2 value of 15.237 (greater than the X2 table value of 12.592) and a p-value of 0.018 (? 0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between sleep patterns and anxiety among pregnant women in the BLUD UPTD Atari Jaya Health Center Work Area.
