Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine students' interest in learning with a zoning system in Islamic Religious Education subjects at Rengat 1 State High School and the factors that influence students' interest in learning with a zoning system. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques use quantitative descriptive techniques with percentages. The population in this study were 152 students who entered SMAN 1 Rengat via the zoning route. The sample in this study was 38 people. The sampling technique uses random sampling. The results of the research concluded that students' interest in learning with the zoning system in PAI subjects at SMAN 1 Rengat, their interest in learning was in the Very Good category, with a percentage of 81.68%. The factors that influence it consist of internal factors (feelings or emotions, motivation, talent, intelligence) and external factors (environment, infrastructure). These two factors equally influence students' interest in learning. Therefore, to achieve optimal learning interest, the participation of both is needed.

Abstract

In this research, it can be answered based on the problem formulation where the efforts made by the teachers in providing motivation to SAINS TAHFIZH IZLMIC CENTER Elementary School students by means ofGiving rewards, creating a comfortable learning atmosphere, Collaboration with parents, Using a variety of learning methods and media, Explaining learning objectives to students, Giving numbers, Carrying out daily tests, Giving punishments and Knowing learning outcomes and factors that motivate learning by involving all elements that come from school and outside school to be able to motivate students to learn.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh program hafalan Al-Quran terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa di MAS Tahfidz Rokan Hulu. Penelitian ini mengangkat masalah tentang bagaimana program hafalan Al-Quran dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan karakter siswa, khususnya dalam aspek kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, dan religiusitas. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk menggali pengalaman, pandangan, dan proses yang terlibat dalam kegiatan hafalan Al-Quran. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program hafalan Al-Quran memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa, terutama dalam aspek kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, dan religiusitas. Selain itu, peran guru tahfidz sebagai pendidik dan teladan terbukti sangat berpengaruh dalam membimbing siswa menginternalisasi nilai-nilai Islam. Korelasi antara tingkat hafalan dan perubahan karakter menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan hafalan yang lebih tinggi, seperti kelompok 20 Juz, memiliki perkembangan karakter yang lebih matang dibandingkan kelompok hafalan yang lebih rendah. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan praktis bagi institusi pendidikan Islam untuk mengoptimalkan program tahfidz dalam membangun generasi muda yang religius dan berkarakter unggul. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi kebijakan pendidikan dalam mengintegrasikan aspek pembentukan karakter ke dalam kurikulum pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan berbagai strategi pengelolaan kelas yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah. Pengelolaan kelas merupakan faktor penting yang menentukan terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, interaktif, dan produktif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan dengan mengkaji berbagai literatur dan hasil penelitian terdahulu terkait strategi pengelolaan kelas. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi pengelolaan kelas yang efektif meliputi perencanaan pembelajaran yang matang, penerapan disiplin positif, penggunaan pendekatan partisipatif, komunikasi guru-siswa yang konstruktif, serta pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran. Selain itu, kemampuan guru dalam menciptakan iklim sosial-emosional yang positif terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pengelolaan kelas yang baik bukan hanya mengatur perilaku siswa, tetapi juga mengoptimalkan seluruh komponen pembelajaran agar tercapai tujuan pendidikan secara holistik. Rekomendasi penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pelatihan guru dalam manajemen kelas berbasis refleksi dan inovasi agar dapat menyesuaikan dengan dinamika kebutuhan peserta didik di era digital.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze peer tutoring as a management strategy for Qur’an learning in improving students’ Qur’anic reading competence through a library research approach. The analysis focuses on how peer tutoring is planned, organized, implemented, and supervised within the learning management system of schools or madrasahs. A review of relevant literature indicates that peer tutoring, when systematically managed through tutor selection, basic training, structured learning schedules, and teacher supervision, effectively enhances students’ mastery of hijaiyah letters, accuracy of makhraj, and reading fluency. In addition to technical skills, the strategy positively influences affective aspects such as learning motivation, confidence, and active participation. From a management perspective, peer tutoring optimizes limited instructional time, distributes learning responsibilities, and strengthens collaborative learning culture. The findings suggest that peer tutoring is not merely a pedagogical technique, but a practical and efficient learning management strategy that supports the effectiveness and sustainability of Qur’an education, particularly in institutions facing large class sizes and limited teacher availability. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi manajemen pembelajaran Al-Qur’an berbasis tutor sebaya dalam meningkatkan kompetensi baca Al-Qur’an melalui pendekatan penelitian kepustakaan. Kajian ini menitikberatkan pada aspek perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan tutor sebaya sebagai bagian dari sistem pengelolaan pembelajaran di sekolah atau madrasah. Hasil telaah literatur menunjukkan bahwa tutor sebaya yang dikelola secara sistematis—melalui seleksi tutor, pembinaan dasar, penjadwalan kegiatan, serta supervisi guru—berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan penguasaan huruf hijaiyah, ketepatan makhraj, dan kelancaran membaca siswa. Selain aspek teknis, strategi ini juga berdampak positif pada motivasi, rasa percaya diri, dan keterlibatan aktif siswa. Dari perspektif manajemen pendidikan Islam, tutor sebaya menjadi solusi efektif untuk mengoptimalkan waktu guru, mengatasi keterbatasan sumber daya, dan membangun budaya belajar kolaboratif. Dengan demikian, tutor sebaya merupakan strategi manajerial yang relevan dan berkelanjutan dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the gap between the ideal objectives of Islamic education in fostering noble character and the reality of students’ moral behavior in schools. Pre-lesson spiritual habituation is viewed as a strategic program that requires proper management to ensure its effectiveness and sustainability. This study aims to analyze the management of pre-learning spiritual routines in strengthening students’ noble character, focusing on the functions of planning, organizing, implementing, supervising, and evaluating. This research employs a library research approach by examining books, scholarly articles, and relevant studies, which are analyzed qualitatively. The findings indicate that well-managed spiritual habituation programs contribute to the development of students’ discipline, honesty, responsibility, politeness, emotional intelligence, and social piety. Furthermore, systematic management of spiritual routines supports the establishment of a religious school culture as part of the hidden curriculum. Therefore, the management of pre-lesson spiritual habituation plays a strategic role in strengthening students’ noble character within the framework of Islamic educational management. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kesenjangan antara tujuan ideal pendidikan Islam dalam membentuk akhlakul karimah dengan realitas perilaku siswa di sekolah. Pembiasaan santapan rohani sebelum pembelajaran dipandang sebagai program strategis yang memerlukan pengelolaan manajerial agar berjalan efektif dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis manajemen pembiasaan santapan rohani sebelum pembelajaran dalam penguatan akhlakul karimah siswa, ditinjau dari fungsi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan mengkaji buku, artikel ilmiah, dan hasil penelitian relevan yang dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan santapan rohani yang terencana, terstruktur, dan diawasi secara sistematis berkontribusi pada penguatan kedisiplinan, kejujuran, tanggung jawab, sopan santun, kecerdasan emosional, serta kesalehan sosial siswa. Selain itu, manajemen pembiasaan ini berperan dalam membangun budaya religius sekolah sebagai bagian dari kurikulum tersembunyi. Dengan demikian, santapan rohani yang dikelola secara manajerial menjadi instrumen strategis dalam penguatan akhlakul karimah siswa di sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penggunaan strategi pembelajaran card short terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 2 Pekanabru. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini siswa kelas X MP SMK Negeri 2 Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 66 orang. Mengingat kurang dari 100 orang, maka sampel penelitian diambil seluruh siswa berjumlah 66 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rhitung > rtabel yakni 0,681 > 0,239, dengan taraf signifikan 5% yaitu 0,000 < 0,05, maka Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hal ini berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan strategi pembelajaran card short terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 2 Pekanabru

Abstract

This article is situated within the field of Islamic Religious Education and character education, focusing on the role of parents in instilling Islamic religious values in the character formation of adolescents. The main issue underlying this study is the weakening of religious value internalization among adolescents due to modernization, digital media influence, and limited parental involvement in religious guidance. The purpose of this article is to analyze the role of parents in Islamic value education, identify the character traits formed in adolescents, and examine supporting and inhibiting factors in the process. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation involving several Muslim families with adolescent children aged 12–18 years in Muara Langsat Village, Kuantan Singingi Regency. As an exploratory qualitative study, no hypothesis was formulated. The findings indicate that parental role modeling, the habituation of worship within the family, and harmonious two-way communication significantly contribute to the formation of adolescents’ Islamic character, while technological influence and limited parental time remain major obstacles. This article contributes to the discourse on Islamic family education by emphasizing the essential role of parents as the primary foundation for strengthening adolescents’ religious character in contemporary society. Abstrak Artikel ini berada dalam diskursus Pendidikan Agama Islam dan pendidikan karakter, dengan fokus pada peran orang tua dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai agama Islam terhadap pembentukan karakter remaja. Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah melemahnya internalisasi nilai agama pada remaja akibat pengaruh modernisasi, media digital, serta keterbatasan peran keluarga dalam pembinaan religius. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran orang tua dalam pendidikan nilai-nilai Islam, mengidentifikasi karakter yang terbentuk pada remaja, serta mengkaji faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam proses tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi terhadap beberapa keluarga Muslim yang memiliki anak usia 12–18 tahun di Desa Muara Langsat, Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. Penelitian ini tidak merumuskan hipotesis karena bersifat eksploratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keteladanan orang tua, pembiasaan ibadah bersama, dan komunikasi harmonis berkontribusi signifikan terhadap terbentuknya karakter islami remaja, sementara pengaruh teknologi dan keterbatasan waktu menjadi hambatan utama. Artikel ini berkontribusi dalam memperkaya kajian pendidikan keluarga Islam dan menegaskan pentingnya peran orang tua sebagai fondasi utama pembentukan karakter religius remaja.

Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought significant changes in various fields, including educational research. AI not only serves as a technical tool, but also has the potential to change the way researchers design, conduct, and analyze research. This study aims to map the opportunities for utilizing AI in the development of educational research methods, identify challenges and limitations, and formulate recommendations for the critical, ethical, and contextual application of AI. The method used is library research by analyzing national and international scientific journal articles relevant to the theme of AI and educational research methodology. Data were collected through documentation techniques and analyzed using content analysis to identify themes, patterns, and trends in AI utilization. The results of the study show that AI offers great opportunities to improve the efficiency and depth of research through the automation of data collection and analysis, bibliometric-based literature mapping, and support for qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research designs. However, this study also found a number of serious challenges, such as algorithmic bias, the risk of data privacy violations, limitations of context and interpretation, and inequalities in access to infrastructure and technological literacy. Therefore, the integration of AI in educational research requires a clear ethical and methodological framework, increased researcher capacity, and supportive policies and infrastructure so that the use of AI can improve the quality and accountability of educational research in the digital age.   Keywords: artificial intelligence, educational research methods, literature review, opportunities and challenges, research ethics

Abstract

This study examines the inconsistency between the messages and behaviors of online preachers from Generation Z within the perspective of Islamic education. In the digital era, social media platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram have become primary spaces for modern da’wah that are interactive and appealing to younger audiences. However, this advancement also presents significant challenges, particularly the dissonance between the Islamic values conveyed and the preacher’s actual behavior in the public sphere. This research employs a library research method by analyzing theories of communication, digital media, and Islamic education. The findings indicate that the main factors contributing to this inconsistency include algorithmic pressure from social media, commercialization of da’wah, lack of religious mentorship, and the digital culture of Gen Z that prioritizes popularity. From the standpoint of Islamic education, this phenomenon underscores the importance of integrating digital literacy, online preaching ethics, and character formation into both formal and non-formal educational curricula. Therefore, this study recommends strengthening the role of Islamic educational institutions in guiding young preachers so that digital da’wah remains ethical, educational, and truly reflective of authentic Islamic moral and spiritual values.
