Abstract

This study adopts a qualitative case study approach to explore implementing and reinforcing religious moderation attitudes among students at Lempuyangwangi Public Elementary School in Yogyakarta. Through observation, interviews, documentation review, and literature analysis, the research delves into the perceptions and experiences of teachers, the principal, and students concerning religious moderation. Utilizing the Miles and Huberman model for data analysis and employing strategies such as triangulation and member checking for reliability and validity, the study unveils a comprehensive view of religious moderation education across diverse religious practices. Results highlight the school's commitment to fostering tolerance and understanding through the principles of honesty, openness, compassion, flexibility, and respect among its multi-religious student body. The study identifies the school's unique approach to religious education, emphasizing the essential role of educational settings in promoting a harmonious society. While acknowledging limitations in scope, the research underscores the need for further investigation into the longitudinal impacts of such educational practices. It suggests a collaborative model involving educators, parents, and the community in expanding religious moderation education. This case study not only enriches the academic discourse on religious moderation but also offers valuable insights for developing inclusive educational frameworks that support Indonesia's diverse identity.

Abstract

This study investigates the adoption of the Zenius digital learning platform at Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Ali Maksum, an Islamic boarding school in Yogyakarta, during the pandemic era pandemic. Employing a qualitative case study methodology, the research focuses on the school's strategic use of Zenius to maintain educational quality for 12th-grade students. Methodological triangulation, encompassing interviews, observations, and document analysis, enabled an in-depth evaluation of the digital learning implementation and its impacts. Key findings indicate that Zenius, with features like ZenBot, Live Classes, and a comprehensive Content Library, effectively supported the learning process, evidenced by the UTBK (University Entrance Test) scores analysis. Despite its successful application, challenges were noted in tutors' subject matter mastery and the need for more individualised instruction. The study's limitations include its focus on a single institution and reliance on observational data, which may affect generalizability. The research contributes to the discourse on educational technology, highlighting the necessity for adaptable, student-centred learning environments and continuous educator training. Future research directions include broadening the scope to multiple institutions and incorporating qualitative analyses to better understand technology's role in education during crises. This study underscores the importance of integrating innovative educational methods, particularly in challenging times, with implications for educational policy and practices.

Abstract

The rampant circulation of illegal cosmetics and low cosmetic safety literacy remain a problem among adolescents, increasing the risk of exposure to hazardous substances such as mercury and hydroquinone. In response, the Pharmacy Professional Education Study Program at Halu Oleo University, in collaboration with BPOM, conducted a community service activity at SMK Negeri 5 Kendari to improve students knowledge in choosing safe cosmetics. The activity was carried out through socialization and counseling using visual media, product inspection practices using the BPOM Mobile application, and the application of the KLIK (Packaging, Label, Distribution Permit, and Expiration) checking method. Evaluation was carried out through pre- and post-tests. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' understanding in recognizing safe cosmetics and high enthusiasm from the participants. This activity emphasized the importance of continuing education to develop critical and safety-conscious cosmetic consumers

Abstract

This study aims to analyze ecotheology as a new direction in the politics and policy of Islamic religious education in Indonesia, particularly in responding to contemporary ecological challenges. This research employs a qualitative approach using library research. Data sources consist of policy documents issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, theoretical works on ecotheology, and scholarly articles and books related to Islamic education and ecological studies. Data were collected through a document review and a systematic literature review, focusing on themes of relevance. The data were analyzed using content analysis, which involved data reduction, thematic categorization, and drawing interpretative conclusions. The findings reveal that the integration of ecotheology has begun to appear in national educational policy, as reflected in programs such as Green Theology, forest endowment initiatives, and large-scale tree-planting movements. Challenges persist in the dominance of normative curricula and the limited capacity of educators. Yet, significant opportunities emerge through the roles of pesantren, religious leaders, and faith-based organizations as agents of ecological change. Theoretically, this study expands the discourse on Islamic education by positioning ecotheology as an ethical and political framework for understanding. Practically, the findings guide policymakers and Islamic educational institutions in designing more ecological, transformative, and sustainable learning policies and programs.

Abstract

Kecipir (Psophocarpus tetragonolobus L.) merupakan tanaman tropis yang bernilai gizi tinggi dan banyak dimanfaatkan sebagai sayuran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan dosis pupuk hayati dan pupuk kalium serta interaksi keduanya yang memberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil terbaik pada tanaman kecipir di tanah gambut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura, berlangsung dari 18 Februari sampai dengan 29 Mei 2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah pupuk hayati (H) dan faktor kedua pupuk kalium (K) masing-masing terdiri dari 3 taraf sehingga diperoleh 9 kombinasi perlakuan. Setiap kombinasi perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali yang terdiri dari 4 tanaman sampel, sehingga terdapat 108 tanaman. Variabel penelitian yaitu berat kering tanaman, volume akar, jumlah polong, bobot polong dan panjang polong, serta variabel penunjang meliputi suhu udara, kelembaban udara dan curah hujan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi interaksi antara pupuk hayati dan pupuk kalium terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kecipir pada tanah gambut. Interaksi pupuk hayati dan pupuk kalium dapat meningkatkan jumlah polong tanaman kecipir dengan kombinasi perlakuan 300 kg/ha pupuk hayati dan 250 kg/ha pupuk kalium.

Abstract

This study examines the reconstruction of an Islamic Education learning model based on integration–interconnection in an Islamic elementary school. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research involved school principals, Islamic Education teachers, general subject teachers, and students. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation of instructional materials. Thematic analysis followed Miles and Huberman’s framework, encompassing data condensation, presentation, and conclusion drawing, with validity ensured through triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. Findings indicate that integration–interconnection functions as both a conceptual and epistemological foundation, positioning Islamic Education as the core value permeating interdisciplinary learning. The reconstructed pedagogical design emphasizes value habituation, teacher exemplification, reinforcement of religious and social practices, and integrative teaching materials linking Islamic Education with science, social studies, and health. This model contributes to holistic internalization of Islamic values across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains, fostering moderate religious character among students. Nevertheless, implementation faces challenges such as dual curriculum administrative burdens, limited family support, and diverse student backgrounds. The cultural context of Nahdlatul Ulama provides strong cultural capital that sustains value-based education.

Abstract

Islamic education during the Old Order era is a crucial issue in the history of Indonesian education because it developed amidst the country's unstable political dynamics, the ideological struggles of nationalism, Islam, and communism, and the initial efforts to establish a national education system after independence. This topic is relevant to study because Islamic education policies during the 1945–1966 period not only determined the position of madrasahs, religious studies, and Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKI) within the national system, but also laid the foundations that have been influential to this day. This study aims to analyze the politics and policies of Islamic education during the Old Order era by highlighting the influence of national political dynamics, the strategic role of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the process of establishing and developing PTKIs, the regulation of religious studies in the National Education System Law, and the challenges and opportunities faced by Islamic education during that period. This study uses a qualitative, field-study design combined with historical studies. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, documentation studies, and literature reviews of archives, regulations, and institutional records. Then, they were analyzed interactively and thematically through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions using source and method triangulation. The results of this study indicate that Islamic education policy during the Old Order era was heavily influenced by the country's political configuration and tended to be compromising. The Ministry of Religious Affairs proved to be a key actor in maintaining the existence of madrasahs, expanding religious instruction in public schools, and building the foundation of Islamic higher education through PTKI (Islamic Higher Education Institutions). This study also found that the regulation of religious instruction in Law No. 4 of 1950 in conjunction with Law No. 12 of 1954 reflected a form of state accommodation to Islamic aspirations, but did not fully guarantee substantive equality in its implementation. This finding contributes to the study of the politics of Islamic education by demonstrating that the development of Islamic education was the result of negotiations between the state, religion, and society, not merely a pedagogical process. Thus, this study concludes that the Old Order era was a crucial phase that shaped the institutional and political foundations of Islamic education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Hasil observasi awal beberapa pelaku UMKM menunjukkan masih banyak pelaku UMKM yang belum sepenuhnya memahami kewajiban perpajakan, termasuk pemanfaatan sistem digital terbaru seperti Coretax. Permasalahan yang sering muncul antara lain kesulitan dalam pembuatan kode billing, pengisian SPT secara elektronik, serta kurangnya pemahaman mengenai tarif dan insentif pajak UMKM. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan Sosialisasi (Penyampaian Materi Teoretis), Edukasi Teknis dan Praktik Langsung, Pendampingan dan konsultasi. Hasil kegiatan Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) yang dilaksanakan melalui program sosialisasi dan edukasi penggunaan sistem Coretax menunjukkan hasil yang positif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman, literasi digital, serta kesadaran perpajakan di kalangan pelaku UMKM di Kabupaten Banyumas. Pendekatan partisipatif dan berbasis praktik langsung menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam mendukung adaptasi pelaku UMKM terhadap sistem perpajakan digital yang terus berkembang.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of authentic practice in the writing of Arabic teaching materials oriented toward Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), focusing on a project conducted by students of Arabic Language Education at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The development of effective teaching materials is crucial for supporting meaningful language learning, especially for a globally important language like Arabic. While over 450 million native speakers use Arabic and it serves as an official language of international institutions , existing research emphasizes the need for contextualized and engaging materials to enhance learner motivation and comprehension (Al‑Harbi, 2020). Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis of student-produced teaching resources. Analysis was conducted thematically, incorporating triangulation and member checking to ensure validity. Results indicate that students apply authentic practices by integrating real-life themes—such as Arab culture, technology, and social issues—into materials; co-developing multimedia modules; and engaging learners through surveys and interactive activities. These methods have a positive impact on students' HOTS, with 78% reporting improved critical thinking and 90% reporting enhanced creativity. However, challenges persist: students face limited access to current Arabic references, technological constraints, and a lack of instructional guidance for HOTS-based material design. Addressing these challenges requires institutional support in the form of digital resource access, HOTS competency workshops, and enhanced pedagogical supervision. Future research is encouraged to undertake longitudinal studies tracking HOTS development and experimental designs to evaluate pedagogical outcomes more rigorously.

Abstract

Terapi kombinasi antispikotik digunakan pada pasien skizofrenia untuk meningkatkan efikasi namun berpotensi untuk terjadinya masalah terkait terapi obat akibat dari interaksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi terjadinya interaksi obat antipsikotik dan hubungannya dengan karakteristik pasien skizofrenia Penelitian potong lintang dan deskriptif analitik ini menggunakan data sekunder dari rekam medik pasien rawat inap tahun 2021 di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan potensi interaksi terjadi pada 92% pasien dengan tingkat interaksi mayor 54%, moderate 30% dan minor 16%. Potensi interaksi secara farmakodinamik mendominasi dengan 84% dibanding interaksi secara farmakokinetik hanya 16 %. Sebagian besar antipsikotik yang digunakan adalah risperidon 33,5%, lalu klorpromazin 23,7% dan haloperidol 20,4%. Kombinasi antispikotik yang terbesar adalah dua kombinasi yaitu risperidon dan klozapin (34,09%) lalu tiga kombinasi yaitu haloperidol, klorpromazin dan risperidon (20,45%). Analisis fisher menunjukan hubungan signifikan antara jumlah obat dengan potensi interaksi dengan nilai p 0,039 namun tidak berhubungan dengan umur, jenis kelamin dan penyakit penyerta (p >0,05). Potensi interaksi berhubungan dengan jumlah obat yang diterima dan perlu diperhatikan karena berpotensi menyebabkan efek samping serius seperti sindrom ekstrapiramidal, sindrom neuroleptic malignan dan peningkatan interval QTC yang dapat mempengaruhi outcome pasien.
