Abstract

The accelerating advancement of digital technology and artificial intelligence in the Fourth Industrial Revolution demands Islamic Education (PAI) to develop students’ digital competence and critical engagement. Simultaneously, worsening environmental degradation highlights the urgent need for educational models that integrate Islamic theological values with eco-literacy to foster ethical and sustainable behavior. This study examines the effectiveness of integrating digital literacy and eco-literacy into the Islamic Education (PAI) curriculum to transform the values of tawḥīd into students’ environmental ethics in Madrasah Aliyah across Tegal Regency. The study is grounded in the context of global environmental crises and the dynamics of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which require Islamic education to produce a generation that is not only faithful but also environmentally responsible and digitally adaptive. The purpose of this research is to measure the effectiveness of the integration model in enhancing students’ understanding of tawḥīd, environmental attitudes, and environmentally ethical behavior, as well as to assess the role of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the learning process. A quasi-experimental method using a pretest–posttest control group design was employed with 240 students assigned to experimental and control groups. Instruments included a tawḥīd comprehension test, an environmental attitude scale, behavioral observations, and a digital literacy assessment. The findings reveal significant improvements in all three variables in the experimental group compared to the control group, with tawḥīd comprehension serving as a partial mediator between digital literacy and environmental behavior. AI-based tools enhanced student engagement and personalized learning, effectively supporting the internalization of Islamic values. These results reinforce the theoretical framework of integrating digital literacy and eco-literacy as an innovative educational approach in Islamic Education and highlight its potential as a pedagogical strategy responsive to technological advancements and contemporary environmental challenges.

Abstract

In the era of digital transformation, the integration of using artificial intelligence has gained significant attention, especially in English language learning study in the English Education Program at State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Parepare. This study identifies students’ perceptions on the use of Artificial Intelligence in English Language Learning and also the advantages and challenges students in State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Parepare. Using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as the theoretical foundation, the study focuses on two key constructs: Perceived of Usefulness (PU) and Perceived Ease of Use (PEoU). Employing a descriptive quantitative approach, data were collected from 30 participants, comprising 15 students from the 3rd semester and 15 students from the fifth semester, through structured questionnaires using a semantic differential scale. Findings reveal that students are highly useful and relatively easy to use in English language Learning. The students reported higher mean scores in both PU (4,130 = very useful) with positive perception and PEoU (4,213= very easy), reflecting their professional experience and familiarity with technology integration. Students, while positive, exhibited slight scores in both Advantages (4,283= Highly Advantages) and Challenges (4,213= Very High Challenges), highlighting variability due to differences in digital literacy and access. The study underscores the need for improvement and support in technical independence and initial learning phases.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran strategis dalam perekonomian Indonesia, terutama dalam kontribusinya terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) dan penyerapan tenaga kerja, namun menghadapi tantangan akibat ketidakpastian ekonomi global dan perubahan kebijakan perpajakan yang semakin dinamis dan kompleks. Permasalahan yang muncul adalah bagaimana ketidakpastian ekonomi global yang bersifat VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, dan ambiguity) serta kebijakan perpajakan mempengaruhi keberlangsungan usaha UMKM, serta bagaimana pelaku usaha merespons kondisi tersebut melalui strategi adaptasi yang tepat dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak dari faktor-faktor tersebut dan mengidentifikasi strategi adaptasi yang dilakukan UMKM. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi literatur dari jurnal ilmiah, laporan ekonomi, serta dokumen kebijakan pemerintah yang relevan dan terpercaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketidakpastian ekonomi global berdampak pada peningkatan biaya produksi, perubahan daya beli masyarakat, serta ketidakstabilan usaha, sementara kebijakan perpajakan mempengaruhi tingkat kepatuhan dan pengelolaan keuangan UMKM. Dalam menghadapi kondisi tersebut, UMKM menerapkan strategi adaptasi berupa digitalisasi usaha, diversifikasi produk, efisiensi operasional, serta peningkatan literasi keuangan dan perpajakan. Dengan demikian, kemampuan adaptasi yang didukung oleh kapasitas internal usaha serta kebijakan pemerintah yang responsif menjadi faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan ketahanan usaha dan daya saing UMKM di tengah dinamika ekonomi global.

Abstract

Produksi sampah di tingkat desa terus meningkat, sedangkan cara penanganan masih terbatas pada pembakaran terbuka dan pembuangan sembarangan. Kondisi ini memicu pencemaran udara, bau tidak sedap, dan risiko kesehatan bagi warga. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini ditujukan untuk memperkenalkan serta mengaplikasikan teknologi incinerator sederhana sebagai alternatif pengolahan sampah di Desa Kutanegara. Metode yang dilakukan meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan pembuatan incinerator, hingga pendampingan pengoperasian yang melibatkan 35 peserta dari unsur masyarakat dan aparat desa. Evaluasi dilaksanakan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan warga sebesar 78% mengenai pengelolaan sampah serta terbangunnya prototipe incinerator berbahan paving blok yang mampu menurunkan volume sampah hingga 60%. Program ini menumbuhkan kesadaran baru bagi masyarakat untuk mengelola sampah dengan cara yang lebih sehat dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan langkah strategis dalam membangun masyarakat yang berakhlak mulia, bermoral, dan beretika. Masyarakat usia sekolah memegang peranan penting dalam membentuk generasi penerus bangsa yang berkualitas. Namun, masih terdapat tantangan dalam penanaman nilai moral dan etika yang efektif di lingkungan masyarakat. Untuk menjawab permasalahan ini, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan melalui pendampingan pendidikan karakter yang berfokus pada peningkatan moral dan etika masyarakat usia sekolah. Kegiatan ini melibatkan pelatihan, sosialisasi, serta pendampingan langsung kepada pelajar, orang tua, dan tenaga pendidik di lingkungan masyarakat. Pendekatan yang digunakan meliputi metode ceramah, diskusi interaktif, dan praktik langsung dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran dan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pentingnya pendidikan karakter serta penerapan nilai-nilai moral dan etika dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat dan bersekolah. Diharapkan, melalui pendampingan ini, masyarakat usia sekolah mampu menerapkan nilai-nilai karakter secara konsisten, sehingga tercipta suasana belajar dan bermasyarakat yang harmonis, saling menghormati, dan bertanggung jawab. Keberlanjutan program ini sangat penting agar nilai-nilai moral dan etika terus berkembang dan menjadi budaya yang melekat dalam kehidupan masyarakat.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of training, work environment and compensation on employee performance. The method used is systematic literature review (SLR). The results showed the RQ1 indicated time, skill, ability, participant, material, method, objective, trainers and training needs as dominant indicators in training. Lighting, coworker, superior, work facilities and communication as indicators of the work environment. Salary, incentive, wage, premium, treatment, insurance, benefit and work facilities as indicators of compensation. Effectiveness, efficiency, responsibility, ability, cooperation, accuracy, quality and quantity as indicators of employee performance. The RQ2 the dominant analysis tools are SPSS-17, SEM-PLS and Path analysis. The RQ3 the majority of papers examined show that training, the environment of work and compensation have positive and significant effect on employee performance. However, a number of research papers show that training has no effect on employee performance. Partially, the work environment has no effect on the training structure. Compensation has no effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Purpose of the Study: This study aims to analyze the correlation between students’ experiences of learning during the COVID-19 health protocol period and their academic behavior at Islamic Religious Colleges. The research seeks to identify contributing and inhibiting factors shaping students' academic attitudes under pandemic-induced learning conditions. Methodology: The study employs a mixed-method sequential exploratory design. Quantitative data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed with Pearson’s product-moment correlation, while qualitative data were gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation, followed by thematic analysis to identify key influencing factors. The integration of both approaches provides a comprehensive understanding of the research problem. Main Findings: The study reveals a significant correlation between students’ learning experiences during COVID-19 and their academic behavior. Key contributing factors include personal motivation (intrinsic and extrinsic), social support (from peers, family, and educators), an optimized study environment (free from distractions), and tailored learning methods that align with individual preferences. Conversely, inhibiting factors such as environmental disturbances (noise or instability at home) and lack of motivation negatively impacted learning outcomes. A unique finding is that the stressful and uncertain conditions during the pandemic fostered a resilient mindset among students, positively influencing their academic attitudes. Novelty/Originality of the Study: This study uniquely highlights how the challenging learning environment created by the pandemic cultivated adaptive academic behaviors in students. By combining quantitative and qualitative insights, the study offers a detailed understanding of how crisis-driven experiences shape student behavior, providing valuable implications for post-pandemic educational strategies.

Abstract

Purpose of the Study: 1) describe how the manaqiban tradition influences the development of Islamic Education through Sufi values; (2) explore the impact of Sufi culture in the manaqiban tradition on the surrounding community; (3) analyze the Sufi values that support the development of Islamic Religious Education; and (4) examine how Sufi values manifest in students' daily lives. Methodology: This qualitative research uses an exploratory approach, with data collected through documentation, observation, and interviews, followed by descriptive analysis. Main Findings: First, the regular practice of the manaqiban tradition positively influences Islamic Education; second, the Sufi culture embedded in the tradition helps prevent radicalism, encourages social solidarity, and promotes tolerance within the community; third, the implementation of Sufi values in Islamic Education development occurs through studying Sufi texts, mentoring by ustadz and administrators, and engaging in religious; and fourth, the Sufi values adopted by students include repentance (taubat), fear (khauf), hope (raja`), asceticism (zuhud), poverty (fakir), patience (sabar), and contentment (ridha). Novelty/Originality of this study: Its focus is on the influence of traditional Sufi practices, like the manaqiban, on the contemporary development of Islamic education, providing insights into how these values can contribute to addressing modern issues such as radicalism and materialism. This study contributes to the broader understanding of how traditional religious practices and values can be integrated into modern educational contexts, emphasizing the need for a more holistic approach to Islamic education that fosters both spiritual and moral development in the face of globalization.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka dirasa sulit diterapkan oleh sekolah terutama sekolah IKM Mandiri Berubah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi problematika penerapa kurikulum merdeka yang dialami oleh sekolah IKM Mandiri Berubah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan datanya yaitu wawancara. Subjek penelitian ini guru kelas I dan kelas IV di Kabupaten Ciamis, yang sampelnya adalah SDN 4 Panjalu, SDN 1 Sukaresik, dan SD IT Al-Amin Kabupaten Ciamis. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang telah dilakukan, banyak sekali kendala, kesulitan atau problematika yang dirasakan oleh guru karena harus mencari informasi, melaksanakan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi secara mandiri tanpa adanya bimbingan langsung dari pemerintah seperti yang dilaksanakan oleh sekolah penggerak. Problematika tersebut terkait dengan pemahaman atau kompetensi guru, kolaborasi dengan rekan kerja, dana, sarana dan prasarana, aktivitas dan kemampuan peserta didik, sumber belajar dan materi ajar, media pembelajaran, pengelolaan kelas, administrasi kelas, serta terkait Assessment atau Penilaian.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis urgensi penerapan etika komunikasi dalam interaksi sosial serta mengevaluasi dampaknya terhadap kualitas hubungan sosial, baik dalam konteks langsung maupun melalui media digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan (library research), yaitu dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai sumber literatur seperti buku, jurnal, dan laporan penelitian yang relevan untuk memperoleh pemahaman mendalam mengenai etika komunikasi dalam kehidupan sosial. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan moralitas untuk melihat hubungan etika komunikasi dengan alat kontrol sosial. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan etika komunikasi berperan penting dalam menciptakan komunikasi yang harmonis, mencegah konflik, serta memperkuat kepercayaan antarindividu dalam masyarakat. Kesimpulannya, etika komunikasi memiliki peran sentral dalam membentuk masyarakat yang beradab, sehat secara sosial, dan etis. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk menanamkan kebiasaan kesantunan, kejujuran, dan moralitas sejak dini melalui pendidikan, baik di lingkungan keluarga maupun sekolah, guna menciptakan komunitas sosial yang sadar akan etika dan nilai-nilai komunikasi.
