Abstract

The internship program is an integral part of education for education program students which aims to develop teaching skills and understand the dynamics of the world of education. This research aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities faced by intern students at SMP Plus Ja-Alhaq, Bengkulu City in developing their pedagogical competencies. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of direct observation, interviews and document analysis. The research results show that intern students face several main challenges, such as limited teaching experience, classroom management, and adaptation to the school environment. However, internship programs also provide great opportunities to develop pedagogical skills, such as guidance from professional teachers, direct experience in teaching, and development of communication skills. It is hoped that this internship experience can improve the quality of students' teaching and strengthen their competence as prospective educators who are ready to face challenges in the world of education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis motivasi orang tua dalam memilih sekolah berbasis Islam, dengan studi kasus di SMP Plus Ja'alhaq. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor utama yang mendorong orang tua memilih sekolah berbasis Islam adalah faktor religiusitas, kualitas pendidikan, lingkungan sekolah, dan harapan akan pembentukan karakter Islami pada anak. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa sekolah berbasis Islam tidak hanya dipilih karena kurikulum akademiknya, tetapi juga karena integrasi nilai-nilai keislaman dalam pembelajaran dan kehidupan sekolah.

Abstract

Purpose – This article explores and analyzes the impact of product quality influenced by sustainability and brand understanding on consumer purchasing decisions. Methodology/approach–The research methodology involved designing and testing a questionnaire measuring three main variables: sustainability-influenced product quality, brand understanding, and purchase decision. Data was collected through an online survey processed using descriptive analysis, correlation coefficient, F-test, and t-test hypothesis testing. The population in this study is the population of Bandung City in 2023 as many as 2,506,600 (BPS Bandung City 2024 data), using the Slovin formula sampling technique, a margin of error of 10% was obtained from a sample of 97 respondentsFindings – The results showed that sustainability-driven product quality had a strong relationship with consumer purchasing decisions, while brand understanding had a stronger relationship. Simultaneous analysis indicated that both variables significantly influenced purchase decisions, with brand understanding having a greater impact than product quality Novelty/value – Previous research has extensively explored the individual impacts of product quality and brand awareness on consumer behavior, yet the combined effect of these factors within the context of sustainability remains underexamined.

Abstract

This study has described the implementation of the morals of santri in pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) in Serang City in order to prevent radicalism-terrorism under the guise of religion. This study used qualitative research because it has emphasized on curiosity about implementing santri's morality in preventing radicalism-terrorism. In collecting research data, researchers used the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicated that students' morality could be improved through the implementation of habituation (habit) of students such as qiyamul lail prayer, reading, memorizing and practicing the Quran, morning and evening remembrance, learning faith, sharia, and morals. Religious education in Islamic boarding schools has a role in filtering and countering the notion of radicalism-terrorism. Religious education is carried out in the form of accustoming students to study according to the religious education curriculum, especially the education of aqidah firqah (group) ahlussunnah waljama’'ah, Islamic sharia manhaj (method) four schools of thought, and morals tariqah (way) sufism. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi akhlakul karimah santri di pondok pesantren se-Kota Serang dalam upaya mencegah paham-paham radikalisme-terorisme yang berkedok agama. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, hal ini dikarenakan akan lebih konsentrasi pada keingintahuan tentang implementasi akhlakul karimah santri dalam mencegah radikalisme-terorisme. Dalam pengumpulan data penelitian di lapangan, peneliti menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah akhlakul karimah santri dapat ditingkatkan melalui implementasi pembiasaan (habit) santri seperti shalat qiyamul lail, membaca, menghafal dan mengamalkan Alquran, zikir pagi dan petang, belajar ilmu akidah, syariah, dan akhlak. Pendidikan keagamaan di pondok pesantren memiliki peran filterisasi dan menangkal paham radikalisme-terorisme. Pendidikan keagamaan diterapkan dalam bentuk pembiasaan pada santri dalam belajar sesuai dengan kurikulum pendidikan agama terutama pendidikan akidah firqah (golongan) ahlussunnah waljama’ah, syariah Islam manhaj (metode) empat madzhab, dan akhlak thariqah (jalan) tasawuf.

Abstract

The Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA) is the most comprehensive trade relationship agreement Indonesia has, covering aspects such as tariff elimination, trade facilitation, investment, downstream and economic cooperation between Indonesia and Australia. Implementing the IA-CEPA involves many actors, from business to sub-national governments, which are trying to open markets, expand business, and increase investment. Therefore, this research aims to examine the prospects of sub-national collaboration in various sectors, such as education, tourism, economy and digital business, especially between Jakarta and New South Wales. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with sucondary data collection techniques through, books, journal articles, website articles, or with previous research. The concepts of paradiplomacy and bilateral relations are used as analytical tools in this research. By using this concept, this research concludes that the existence of sub-national IA-CEPA between the two countries has sufficient space to establish and strengthen cooperation, one of which is the sister state province cooperation between Jakarta and New South Wales by focusing on economic sustainability efforts, which has the potential to realize Jakarta's big vision as a global business city after it is no longer the capital of Indonesia.Keywords: Global City, IA-CEPA, Jakarta, New South Wales, Sister Province

Abstract

This article will analyze the agenda of the Global South in responding to the inability of the World Trade Organization (WTO) to solve contemporary international trade problems. Global South countries are uniting to ensure the interests of developing countries are recognized in the WTO decision process. Global South thinking itself offers an alternative in International Relations, focusing on economic inequality and Global North-South relations. Descriptive qualitative research methods are used to analyze the existence of South-South cooperation in an effort to reform the WTO. Global South countries such as China, India, and Brazil actively participate in the WTO and G20 to fight for their interests and reduce the gap with the Global North through South-South Cooperation. Through WTO reforms, they seek to change the Global North-dominated global governance, building a new trade architecture based on equality and shared development. Brazil as the 2024 G20 Presidency and the BRICS play an important role in supporting WTO reforms for fair trade and development, so Global South collaboration is key in creating positive change in international trade governance.Keywords: Global Governance, Global South, Global North, WTO reform.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dilaksanakan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia di lingkungan sekolah melalui serangkaian pelatihan yang terstruktur dan aplikatif. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini sangat penting karena berfokus pada peningkatan kompetensi siswa, yang merupakan investasi jangka panjang bagi kualitas pendidikan di daerah. Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah membekali siswa dengan keterampilan dasar yang relevan dengan kebutuhan masa kini, seperti keterampilan komunikasi, kepemimpinan, literasi digital, dan penulisan ilmiah. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, simulasi, dan pembelajaran berbasis proyek, yang mendorong keterlibatan aktif peserta. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam motivasi belajar dan kemampuan siswa setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini menjadi model strategis dalam pengembangan potensi siswa yang dapat direplikasi di SMA Negeri 6 Kota Serang

Abstract

Background: In the context of increasing demands for quality education, it is essential to understand the factors that contribute to enhancing students' learning creativity, particularly in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). As the educational landscape evolves, fostering skills such as social intelligence and professional competence in students is vital to their academic success and personal growth. Purpose: This study aims to find out and analyze the influence of social intelligence and professional competence on student learning creativity in Islamic religious education learning at Ibnu Chaldun University Jakarta. Method: This study uses a quantitative research method with survey techniques to answer the hypothesis test that has been formulated. The respondents amounted to 160 students, and the sampling technique used was a random sampling technique. Questionnaires on social intelligence, professional competence, and learning creativity were validated by the product-moment correlation formula, and reliability was measured by the Alpha Cronbach formula. Hypothesis testing using the SEM PLS analysis application. Result: The results of the study show that social intelligence has a direct and significant effect on learning creativity, and professional competence has a direct positive and significant effect on learning creativity. Social intelligence has a direct and significant influence on professional competence. So that to increase learning creativity, it can be done through increasing social intelligence and professional competence. Conclusion: From the results of the study, it was concluded that social intelligence has a direct and significant effect on learning creativity, professional competence has a direct positive and significant effect on learning creativity, and social intelligence has a direct and significant effect on professional competence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Nilai Sosial dan Budaya Tari Rendai Sebagai Kearifan Lokal Masyarakat di Desa Kembang Mumpo Kecamatan Semidang Alas Kabupaten Seluma”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana proses pelaksanaan tradisi Tari Rendai serta menggali nilai-nilai sosial dan budaya yang terkandung di dalamnya sebagai bentuk kearifan lokal masyarakat Serawai. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih bertahannya Tari Rendai sebagai warisan budaya Minangkabau yang berkembang di Bengkulu, khususnya di Desa Kembang Mumpo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan tokoh adat, penari, masyarakat setempat, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tari Rendai tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai media pelestarian nilai sosial seperti gotong royong, tanggung jawab, kebersamaan, kepedulian, serta penanaman nilai budaya dan moral kepada generasi muda. Melalui simbol-simbol gerakan, syair, kostum, serta prosesi adat, Tari Rendai membentuk identitas budaya masyarakat Serawai dan menjadi sarana edukasi informal yang efektif. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi akademik pada bidang antropologi budaya, serta menjadi referensi praktis bagi pemerintah daerah dan masyarakat dalam upaya melestarikan tradisi lokal sebagai bagian dari pembangunan karakter dan identitas bangsa.

Abstract

Antibiotic resistance is most challenging issues in 21 st century. Therefore, WHO released a categorization of antibiotics into Access, Watch and Reserve (AWaRe) groups in order to optimize the use of the Access group into minimum 60%. The objective of this study is to determine the profile of antibiotic prescription at community pharmacies in Sleman Regency, during the period of 2019 - 2022 according to AWaRe. A cross-sectional survey was designed to collect the data on antibiotic prescription from 10 community pharmacies in Sleman. The quantity of prescribed antibiotics were analysed quantitatively using ATC/DDD methodology, and then classified based AWaRe classification. This study found 10-13 antibiotic agents in the Access group (52% - 62%) and the percentage of Access in DDD was 52.38% and 61.90% by WHO and MoHRI AWaRe classification, respectively. Antibiotic prescription within the community level in Sleman, has reached the target of access group according to MoHRI. Oleh karena itu, WHO mengeluarkan kategorisasi antibiotik ke dalam kelompok Access, Watch, dan Reserve (AWaRe) dengan tujuan untuk mengoptimalkan penggunaan kelompok Access minimal 60%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil peresepan antibiotik di apotek Kabupaten Sleman, selama periode 2019 - 2022 berdasarkan AWaRe. Penelitian ini merupakan survei potong lintang dengan mengumpulkan data peresepan antibiotik dari 10 apotek di Kabupaten Sleman. Kuantitas antibiotik yang diresepkan dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan metodologi ATC/DDD, dan kemudian diklasifikasikan berdasarkan klasifikasi AWaRe. Penelitian ini menunjukan terdapat 10-13 agen antibiotik pada kelompok Akses (52% - 62%) dengan persentase dalam satuan DDD adalah 52,38% dan 61,90% berdasarkan klasifikasi AWaRe WHO dan Kemenkes Indonesia.
