Abstract

Around 1000 to 4000 units of modest dwelling houses are annually built in Aceh Province. A modest dwelling house is a small type of house with limitations in space planning which is very suitable for small families with middle to lower incomes. This lower middle-class community is a group of people who are very vulnerable and will be very severely affected when a disaster occurs. A modest dwelling house is a one-story building with simple construction and structure in its physical form. On the other hand, Aceh is also one area that is very prone to earthquake disasters from along the subduction zone and Sumatran Fault. Therefore, measuring the frequency of a modest dwelling house is crucial to understanding all house elements' conditions. It is essential to estimate the integrity and safety of the house after an earthquake occurs. The method used in this research is using the field experiment method in the form of measuring the natural response of the building to vibration based on microtremor data. This study uses a seismometer. The data is stored in a data logger. The seismometer is placed on the floor of the house. Data collection is carried out when no major activities are around the house. Measurements were carried out for a minimum of 60 minutes. Computer analysis with specific parameters obtained using Geopsy software. The result of this study indicates that the dominant frequency of modest dwelling houses measured is around 2.99 Hz. The analysis results from the field experiment were validated using pushover analysis of the detailed engineering design data. The modeling results show that in the x-axis direction (parallel to the direction of the building), the frequency obtained is 7.14 Hz. Pushover analysis on the model with the y-axis direction (parallel to the side of the building) obtained a frequency of 7.46 Hz. This validation shows a huge difference between the frequency of field measurement results and computer modeling results. Many factors, including decreasing or degrading the concrete construction quality in the field, can cause this gap.

Abstract

The Singkil Sub-district of Aceh Singkil District comprises alluvium deposits with a relatively low ultimate bearing capacity. The ultimate bearing capacity of the soil is closely related to the safety of a building. The important thing related to estimating the ultimate bearing capacity of the soil is in-situ soil investigation. This study aims to estimate the spatial distribution of soil ultimate bearing capacity using field test data in the Singkil Sub-district. Estimating ultimate bearing capacity is useful to provide an initial picture for various planning and infrastructure development activities in the study area. Twenty CPT in-situ tests have been obtained from various field works in Aceh Singkil Regency. Field data analysis, based on empirical methods, was carried out to obtain the value of the ultimate bearing capacity of the soil at the test location. Then, the estimated distribution of the maximum bearing capacity obtained was carried out. The zoning map of the distribution of soil ultimate bearing capacity in the study was developed from this research. This map can be used as a form or effort of disaster mitigation by various stakeholders involved in planning and building various infrastructure facilities in the Singkil Sub-district.

Abstract

Abstract: Death occurs when an organism's overall functions permanently cease. Decomposition breaks down the structure of dead organisms. In autolysis, body enzymes aid decay. Cathepsin and calpain are cysteine proteases that catalyze protein breakdown through peptide bond hydrolysis. To reduce formalin exposure for forensic experts, anti-decay agents can be replaced. This study aims to analyze cathepsin enzyme interactions with active phytochemicals in katuk leaves (Sauropus androgynus) using in silico methods. Molecular docking analysis reveals afzelin, reserpine, trifolin, and kaempferol as potential cathepsin S inhibitors, with afzelin being the most promising due to its binding energy approaching that of odanacatib, the best current cathepsin K inhibitor. Keywords: katuk leaves, cathepsin, molecular docking Abstrak: Kematian terjadi ketika fungsi organisme secara keseluruhan berhenti secara permanen. Dekomposisi memecah struktur organisme yang telah mati. Dalam autolisis, enzim tubuh membantu proses pembusukan. Cathepsin dan calpain adalah sistein protease yang mengkatalisis pemecahan protein melalui hidrolisis ikatan peptida. Untuk mengurangi paparan formalin pada ahli forensik, agen anti-pembusukan dapat diganti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis interaksi enzim cathepsin dengan senyawa fitokimia aktif dalam daun katuk (Sauropus androgynus) menggunakan metode in silico. Abstract

Penggunaan sabun cair saat ini memang banyak digunakan dikalangan masyarakat karena dinilai lebih praktis daripada sabun batang. Melihat peluang tersebut, banyak masyarakat dikalangan UKM berlomba lomba dalam memproduksi sabun cair dalam skala rumah tangga. Proses pembuatan nya pun banyak yang menggunakan cara tradisional. Cara tradisional dalam pengadukan ini banyak memakan tenaga dan waktu.Dalam proses pembuatan sabun cair, ini diperlukan pengadukan yang sesuai agar bahan bisa tercampur dengan sempurna. Viskositas kekentalan dari sabun cair sangat berpengaruh pada kualitas sabun yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang serta menghitung komponen komponen dari agitator agar hasil sabun cair tidak terlalu kental dan terlalu cair. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari metode observasi, metode dokumen dan metode wawancara. Blade agitator dirancang dengan memiliki panjang total = 370 mm dan tebal= 1,5 mm. Hasil perhitungan komponen agitator, didapatkan perhitungan kebutuhan motor sebesar ¾ HP, rasio gearbox sebesar 1:20, Poros memiliki diameter ¾ inchi atau 20 mm, panjang 525 mm, momen puntir 779,2 kg.mm , tegangan geser poros 5,48 kg/mm2, ukuran pasak 6 mm x 6 mm, Gaya sentripetal yang terjadi pada pengaduk sebesar 22,85 Newton dan deformasi poros pengaduk dalam batas aman yaitu 0,190.Kata kunci: Sabun cair , Agitator, Blade , Viskositas , deformasi

Abstract

Periode Natal dan Tahun Baru merupakan masa liburan yang ditandai dengan lonjakan volume penumpang dan kendaraan di berbagai moda transportasi, termasuk lintasan penyeberangan Ketapang-Gilmanuk yang menghubungkan Pulau Jawa dan Pulau Bali yang menjadikan peran vital bagi mobilitas masyarakat dalam melakukan perjalanan mudik dan liburan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kebutuhan kapal selama masa Natal dan Tahun Baru 2024/2025 guna memastikan kelancaran pengguna jasa dan menghindari kemacetan, keterlambatan ataupun penumpukan kendaraan yang dapat mengganggu kegiatan operasional. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei untuk mengumpulkan data primer dan sekunder. Analisis yang digunakan ialah analisis konversi kendaraan kecil, analisis prediksi pertumbuhan kendaraan, analisis frekuensi keberangkatan kapal dan analisis kebutuhan jumlah kapal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada periode puncak, jumlah kendaraan yang akan menyeberang diperkirakan meningkat secara signifikan dengan estimasi kebutuhan kapal sebanyak 29 kapal/ hari. Penelitian ini memberikan saran yaitu perlu dilakukan pemantauan dan evaluasi berkelanjutan pada jam-jam puncak tertentu seperti penambahan kapal, penyesuaian jadwal dan pemanfaatan teknologi untuk memantau volume kendaraan secara real-time serta koordinasi dan kolaborasi yang baik antar semua pihak terkait.

Abstract

The Harbor Master’s Office of the Class II Palembang Port Authority is a technical implementing unit within The Ministry of Transportation in the waters of Palembang and its surroundings is under and directly responsible to the Director General of Sea Transportation. This study aims to determine the application of the use of the Indonesia Port Integration System (INAPORTNET) in service Clearance In And Clearance Outing the area of the Office of the Harbor Master of Class II Palembang Port Authority. This problem refers to Ministerial Regulation Number 93 of 2013 concerning the Organization and Business of Sea Transportation, Ministerial Regulation Number 93 of 2013 concerning the Organization of Business Related to Transportation in Waters, and Ministerial Regulation Number of 8 of 2022 concerning Procedures for Ship Service Through INAPORTNET. The result of the study are:1) Implementation of the use of Inaportnet by Office Harbor Master of Class II Palembang Port Authority in clearance services not optimal because there are obstacles in its implementation. 2) Obstacles faced by shipping company agencies and the Harbor Master’s Office of the Class II Palembang Port Authority in the use of Inaportnet in carrying out clearance services, including expired documents, lack of training and socialization, and weak internet network. 3) Efforts that can be made by the shipping company agency and the Palembang Class II Port Authority Harbor Master’s Office in dealing with obstacles that occur include extending expired certificates so that when uploading certificates to the system Inaportnet. There are no problems that could hinder the clearance process and socialization including training is carried out so that service users can Inaportnet do not feel confused in the stages of using the service Inaportnet can increase internet speed so that there are no problems related to the internet network when uploading data to the system.Inaportnet.

Abstract

Lembar Ferry Port is a very important commercial port in developing and connecting West Nusa Tenggara Province, especially Lombok Island with Bali Province. This makes the port management as a service provider industry continue to strive to develop services to increase the potential of the port and the satisfaction of service users, one of which is the online ticket booking system. This study aims to analyze the level of service user satisfaction with the implementation of the online ticket booking system using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) method at Lembar Ferry Port as one of the providers of ferry transportation services on Lombok Island. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to users of Lembar Ferry Port services as respondents to obtain data on the level of expectations and performance felt by service users. Based on the results of the study, service users have felt quite satisfied with the performance of the online ticket booking system carried out by the management of Lembar Ferry Port. This can be seen from the CSI value obtained, which is 59.12%. The things that need to be improved or corrected from the online ticket booking system at Lembar Ferry Port, one of which is the system display for service users which is simple but still informative because it has the highest expectation value from service users.

Abstract

Human resource management aims to improve the effectiveness of human resources in the organization is very important. For this reason, the Cooperative Builds National Independence seeks to improve the competence of its employees through education and training activities in encouraging performance effectiveness. The purpose of the study is to determine the performance of employees of the Bangun Kemandirian Bangsa Cooperative, to determine the implementation of education and training activities at the Bangun Kemandirian Bangsa Cooperative in an effort to improve the competence of its employees and to know the development of employee performance before and after participating in education and training programs. This study used qualitative research methods with data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. In this study, the informants selected were 6 employees of the Cooperative Build National Independence. The results of the study concluded that the performance of the employees of the Koperasi Bangun Kemandirian Bangsa was quite good as seen from the ability to carry out and complete their work, although it still had to be improved. The implementation of education and training programs in an effort to improve employee competence has been carried out well and has a positive impact on the effectiveness of employee performance of the Koperasi Bangun Kemaditrian Bangsa

Abstract

Abstrak: Penguatan kapasitas komunitas konstruksi sangat penting dalam mendukung pembangunan infrastruktur yang berkelanjutan di Kabupaten Karanganyar, Jawa Tengah. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman para profesional konstruksi terkait penerapan Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) Geoteknik 8460:2017 melalui workshop dan sosialisasi yang melibatkan Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) Kabupaten Karanganyar. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini melibatkan sosialisasi melalui ceramah dan diskusi interaktif terkait SNI Geoteknik 8460:2017. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah profesional konstruksi dari Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) Kabupaten Karanganyar yang berjumlah 80 orang. Sistem evaluasi yang digunakan mencakup pemberian pre-test untuk mengukur pengetahuan awal peserta serta post-test untuk mengevaluasi tingkat pemahaman setelah kegiatan selesai. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada skor post-test, dengan rata-rata peningkatan sebesar 8,08%. Kategori yang mengalami kenaikan tertinggi adalah Uji Laboratorium dan Implementasi yang meningkat sebesar 13,69%, diikuti oleh Standar dan Tujuan SNI Geoteknik yang meningkat sebesar 12,81%. Kegiatan ini juga berhasil menciptakan wadah kolaborasi antara akademisi dan praktisi di sektor konstruksi. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan mutu dan keberlanjutan proyek infrastruktur di daerah tersebut.Abstract: Enhancing the capacity of the construction community is crucial in supporting sustainable infrastructure development in Karanganyar Regency, Central Java. This community service activity aims to improve the understanding of construction professionals regarding the implementation of the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) Geotechnical 8460:2017 through workshops and outreach programs involving the Department of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) of Karanganyar Regency. The implementation method includes socialization through lectures and interactive discussions related to SNI Geotechnical 8460:2017. The partners in this activity are construction professionals from the PUPR, Karanganyar Regency, totaling 80 participants. The evaluation system used includes the distribution of questionnaires, pre-tests to measure participants' initial knowledge, and post-tests to evaluate their level of understanding after the activity. The results showed a significant increase in post-test scores, with an average improvement of 8.08%. The category with the highest increase was Laboratory Testing and Implementation, which rose by 13.69%, followed by SNI Geotechnical Standards and Objectives, which increased by 12.81%. This activity also successfully created a platform for collaboration between academics and practitioners in the construction sector. Therefore, this activity contributes to the improvement of the quality and sustainability of infrastructure projects in the region.

Abstract

A slope is a land surface that has a slope towards the horizontal from a high point to a low point. Slope construction can occur naturally due to landslides or human intervention. Slope stability is the ability of a slope to maintain its shape to balance and not movement. Stability in water reservoirs is influenced by changes in the water table elevation of the reservoir which results in changes in soil moisture content and soil pressure. One of the methods of slope reinforcement is with geotextiles which have tensile strength properties and the ability to improve slope stability. Slope stability analysis can be conducted by numerical study using GeoStudio Program with 5 different methods. The results showed that the slope stability of the existing condition without reinforcement under the influence of water elevation and seismic load was obtained SF < 1,25 and classified as an unsafe slope. After planning the reinforcement of Hibritex LP75/75 geotextile on the slope with the same influence, the safety factor value is more than 1,25 and is classified as a safe slope.
