Abstract

Fuel oil is a primary need for the community to assist mobility activities in daily life. The role of fuel oil until now is an energy source that has become the main choice for use in various sectors, especially in shipping, it is a must as a transportation operator to monitor the availability of fuel oil on ships so that shipping traffic runs smoothly between lands. With the rapid development of technology in the current era of globalization, it has provided many benefits in progress in various aspects. The use of technology by humans in helping to complete work is a must in life. The development of this technology must also be followed by developments in Human Resources (HR). Humans as technology users must be able to take advantage of current technology, as well as subsequent technological developments. Human adaptation to new technologies that have developed must be done through innovation. The Time of Flight sensor is an electronic component that functions to measure the distance between the sensor and the object. In this study, use this for the purposes of measuring the level of the fuel tank on the ship. Thus, it can determine the level of the fuel level in the tank so that there is no oil spill, so that it can be monitored using Arduino.

Abstract

Around 1000 to 4000 units of modest dwelling houses are annually built in Aceh Province. A modest dwelling house is a small type of house with limitations in space planning which is very suitable for small families with middle to lower incomes. This lower middle-class community is a group of people who are very vulnerable and will be very severely affected when a disaster occurs. A modest dwelling house is a one-story building with simple construction and structure in its physical form. On the other hand, Aceh is also one area that is very prone to earthquake disasters from along the subduction zone and Sumatran Fault. Therefore, measuring the frequency of a modest dwelling house is crucial to understanding all house elements' conditions. It is essential to estimate the integrity and safety of the house after an earthquake occurs. The method used in this research is using the field experiment method in the form of measuring the natural response of the building to vibration based on microtremor data. This study uses a seismometer. The data is stored in a data logger. The seismometer is placed on the floor of the house. Data collection is carried out when no major activities are around the house. Measurements were carried out for a minimum of 60 minutes. Computer analysis with specific parameters obtained using Geopsy software. The result of this study indicates that the dominant frequency of modest dwelling houses measured is around 2.99 Hz. The analysis results from the field experiment were validated using pushover analysis of the detailed engineering design data. The modeling results show that in the x-axis direction (parallel to the direction of the building), the frequency obtained is 7.14 Hz. Pushover analysis on the model with the y-axis direction (parallel to the side of the building) obtained a frequency of 7.46 Hz. This validation shows a huge difference between the frequency of field measurement results and computer modeling results. Many factors, including decreasing or degrading the concrete construction quality in the field, can cause this gap.

Abstract

Value Stream Mapping (VSM) is a method of Lean Manufacturing to identify and reduce waste in the entire industrial process. VSM has been applied to various fields of the manufacturing industry and even to the service sector. A systematic review of the VSM literature is needed, to provide information about the implementation of VSM that has been carried out for further research. This study aims to analyze and explore more deeply related to VSM applications in industry. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review method. The identified literature includes 50 selected articles based on selection. The articles collected were based on 45 Indonesian articles and 5 international articles, with a publication range from 2010 to 2020. The application of VSM found was dominated by the automotive industry. The benefits of implementing VSM from the entire literature found include waste elimination and reduction, process time and cost efficiency, quality improvement and industrial productivity improvement. However, there is some literature related to VSM that only focuses on one goal, so it has not received the overall benefit.

Abstract

Transportation needs in an area caused by the interaction between social and political activities, as well as tourism in the area. Transportation plays a very important role in the success of the development of an area, which has a role as a liaison between one region and another separated by the presence of water, the role of transportation is also very closely related to development, and stimulates new activities in the development of the transportation system into a very important and very useful role in the smooth development of the wheel, strengthening unity and unity that affects all aspects of life. The conditions of West Lombok Regency which is close to Bali Island which is separated by the Lombok Strait, this causes crossing transportation is the main transportation of goods or passengers that can be reached by the community in supporting equitable development. Crossing transportation has an important role to provide support for economic growth, especially crossing. The position of transportation becomes one of the decisive elements in order to guarantee the economic development of the community. As the economy progresses, the role of transportation increases. This is due to the economic dependence on transportation to be greater because it must always be guaranteed smoothness in the flow of goods and passengers quickly, cheaply and safely from Padangbai Port to Lembar Harbor or vice versa. Lembar Crossing Port is one of the Crossing Ports located in West Lombok Regency which serves the Lembar - Padangbai Crossing. At the Crossing Port Lembar there is a ferry transportation company operated by PT. Indonesia Ferry ASDP Branch of Lembar.

Abstract

Kalimantan Selatan merupakan provinsi yang memiliki sumber daya alam yang melimpah khususnya di sektor pertambangan. Logam berat hasil buangan tambang batubara yang tidak diolah bersifat sangat beracun bagi lingkungan dan manusia seperti merkuri dan kobalt yang berdampak pada kesehatan manusia seperti gangguan proses glikolisis. Penelitian in bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi logam berat merkuri dan kobalt terhadap enzim glukokinase, 11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase-1, dipeptidyl peptidase-IV, dan Interleukin-1β dengan PDB ID: 1V4S, 2BEL, 1J2E, 9ILB yang diambil dari protein data bank serta menggukan website molecular docking MIB2: Metal Ion Binding Site Prediction and Docking server. Hasil docking divisualisasikan menggunakan aplikasi Chimera versi 1.16. Ditemukan hasil dari molecular docking logam berat merkuri dan kobalt dapat berinteraksi dengan keempat protein. Ion logam merkuri berikatan secara hidrofobik dengan residu asam amino interleukin 1 β dan ikatan kovalen koordinasi glukokinase, 11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase-1, dan dipeptidyl peptidase-IV. Sedangkan ion logam kobalt berikatan secara kovalen koordinasi dengan residu asam amino enzim glukokinase, 11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase-1, dipeptidyl peptidase-IV, dan Interleukin-1β. Dari keempat protein, ion logam merkuri berikatan paling kuat dengan enzim dipeptidyl peptidase-IV dikarenakan dipeptidyl peptidase-IV memiliki binding potensial yang lebih kuat tetapi pada jarak ikatan ion merkuri lebih mendekati ke enzim glukokinase tersebut.

Abstract

Mesin pendingin adalah sebuah alat siklus yang prinsip kerjanya hampir sama dengan mesin kalor yang menggunakan fluida kerja yang berupa refrigeran. Siklus refrigeran yang paling banyak dipakai adalah daur refrigeran kompresi uap yang melibatkan empat komponen dasar yaitu kompresor, kondensor, katup ekspansi dan evaporator. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui berapa besar nilai perpindahan panas konveksi optimal dan nilai nusselt number tertinggi. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah pengambilan data berdasarkan hasil pengujian dengan menggunakan traniner AC yang kami buat, menggunakan bahan pendingin yaitu refrigerant R32 dengan variasi putaran kecepatan fan kondensor dalam posisi high. Hasil penelitian pada air condisioner (AC) split konvensional dengan kapasitas ½ PK  didapatkan nilai tertinggi pada jarak waktu 45 menit, koefisien perpindahan panas konveksi tertinggi didapat sebesar 2,50521 W/m.°C pada kecepatan fan kondensor 4,4 m/s sedangkan koefisien perpindahan panas konveksi terendah didapat sebesar 0,34923 W/m.°C pada kecepatan inlet 1,34 m/s sedang kan nilai nusselt number tertinggi didapat sebesar 0,26938 pada kecepatan fan kondensor 4,4 m/s sedangkan nilai nusselt number terendah didapat sebesar 0,3717 pada kecepatan inlet 1,35 m/s.

Abstract

Diabetes melitus merupakan penyakit kompleks dengan keadaan dimana kadar glukosa plasma di atas normal. Penyakit ini dimanifestasikan pada jalur seluler yang berbeda-beda yaitu sekresi insulin, resistensi insulin, dan penyerapan karbohidrat. Kobalt dan merkuri merupakan logam yang berpotensi memiliki peran dalam kejadian diabetes melitus. Disebutkan bahwa logam berat meningkatkan gangguan dari pembentukan sel di pulau-pulau. Langerhans yang pada akhirnya terjadi resistensi insulin. Namun, untuk mekanismenya masih belum diketahui. Terdapat beberapa molekul protein yang keberadaannya berpengaruh besar pada kejadian diabetes melitus antara lain adenosine monophosphate protein kinase (AMPK), glutamine fructose-6-phosphate amidotransferase (GFAT), protein tyrosine phosphatases (PTP) dan tyrosine kinase insulin receptor. Afinitas pengikatan ion logam berat dengan AMPK terjadi pada sisi alosterik Cystein B sintase (CBS) menjadi domain tempat terikatnya residu asam amino hasil interaksi. Enzim GFAT dengan ion logam berat terjadi pada binding site dari GFAT terletak pada domain N-terminal. Interaksi antara PTP dengan ion logam pada active site yang terletak di dekat domain N-terminal yang berikatan yang menunjukkan sistein sebagai anion thiolate dan akan terinaktivasi apabila mengalami oksidasi. Tyrosine kinase insulin receptor dengan ion logam berat terjadi pada active site yang terletak di dekat domain C-terminal yang berikatan yang menunjukkan tyrosine yang bergerak menuju lingkaran aktivasi IRK.

Abstract

Sumur resapan dapat memberikan solusi akan kekurangan ketersediaan air tanah, hal ini terjadi karena air yang sengaja dimasukkan ke dalam tanah memberikan imbuhan suplai air, sehingga ketersediaan air tanah dapat menjadi lebih besar, dan dapat dimanfaatkan oleh manusia untuk kebutuhan hidup sehari hari. Proses ini adalah dengan membuat wadah yang porus, baik secara vertikal maupun horisontal, sebagai intake atau jalan air masuk, yang kemudian diteruskan secara meresap melalui media yang dibuat yaitu berupa batu kerikil, pasir dan ijuk, dalam wadah sumur buis beton yang berlubang, secara alami proses meresap ke sisi bawah dan samping sumur resapan akan terjadi sesuai dengan kemampuan tanahnya yang dapat diukur melalui permeabilitasnya. Tanah porus dengan permeabilitas besar akan lebih mudah meresap dan mengalirkan air tersebut ke dalam tanah. Penelitian ini mengkaji dan menganalisis model sumur resapan 2 D (dimensi) skala kecil laboratorium dengan model software dan analisis empirisnya. Pengamatan dilakukan pada model uji fisik skala kecil laboratorium, yang mana perilaku dan proses resapan air akan terlihat secara jelas dan sebaran arah air meresap juga akan nampak, proses selanjutnya adalah menganalisis perilaku tersebut dengan software GeoStudio dan analisis model empiris yang berlaku. Hasil dari analisis ini akan dapat memprediksi dan mendisain tipe dan dimensi ukuran sumur resapan, yaitu nilai analisis rembesan air secara manual adalah berdekatan yaitu sebesar 0,132 cm/detik dan 0,1688 cm/detik untuk hasil dengan aplikasi/software, sehingga penggunaan software tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai prediksi rembesan air dalam tanah.

Abstract

Performance Prism has been implemented in various business, because it is a method to measure company performance. Therefore, a systematic literature review is required, to provide information for further research about the implementation of Performance Prism. The identified literature includes 36 national articles and 4 international articles from Indonesia, with a range of publications from 2011 to 2020. The implementation of Performance Prims is dominated by the industry of food, apparel, and construction materials, as well as services of raw water and health. In addition, Performance Prism is also implemented in educational institutions, includes Junior High School and University. The implementation of Performance Prism is integrated by 4 other dominant methods, includes Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), Objective Matrix (OMAX), Traffic Light System (TLS), and Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, & Threats (SWOT). The benefits of implementing Performance Prism consist of measuring the level of perspective stakeholders and performance indicators, as well as determining Key Performance Indicators and measuring company performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, mencari kevalidan serta kepraktisan game edukasi matematika dengan pendekatan etnomatematika berbantu app inventor dengan mengetahui langkah-langkah dalam pembuatan game edukasi matematika sampai produk siap digunakan. Metode penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) yang berorientasi pada pembuatan produk yaitu game edukasi matematika berupa aplikasi android dengan konten Lawang Sewu. Proses pembuatan dimulai dari menganalisis kebutuhan peserta didik kemudian membuat rancangan desain awal dan isi game tersebut sesuai dengan konten etnomatematika Lawang Sewu berbantu canva sebagai media desain  background dan App inventor sebagai pembuat aplikasi game. Game divalidasi oleh validator ahli media dan validator ahli materi mendapatkan hasil kelayakan produk sebesar 88,8% untuk ahli media dan 85% untuk ahli materi sehingga produk layak dan valid untuk digunakan. Berdasarkan angket kelayakan produk oleh siswa mendapatkan hasil  sebesar 92,77% sehingga produk praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan bisa disebarluaskan.
