Abstract

Abstract This research aims to describe students’ translation and transformation ability on mathematical representation in solving contextual word problems of sets in class VIII SMP Negeri 18 Pontianak. The method that was use in this research is descriptive method with case study form. The subject of this research are 35 students. The data collection instrument that used is written test in essay and interview as the follow-up activity. The result of data analysis showed that the students’ translation ability on mathematical representation from the verbal representation  to the symbol representation (sets symbol) is classified as very low with percentage 100%; students’ translation ability on mathematical representation from the symbol representation (sets symbol) to the visual representation (Venn diagram) is classified as very low with percentage 60%; students’ translation ability on mathematical representation from the verbal representation  to the symbolic representation is classified as very low with percentage 100%; students’ transformation ability on mathematical representation in symbolic representation is classified as very low with percentage 51.43%; and students’ transformation ability on mathematical representation in verbal only a small part with percentage 40% which reached very high. Kata kunci : kemampuan translasi, kemampuan transformasi, soal cerita   kontekstual, himpunan

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu para pebelajarsekolah dasar negeri 6 untuk memahami tentang konsep volume bangun ruang dengan menggunakanmedia pembelajaran yang berbentuk multimedia learning. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian pengembangan.Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.Alat pengumpul data adalah lembar observasi, pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara, angket, dan dokumen.Pengelolaan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskirptif kualitatif.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran bisa membantu memberikan pemahaman kepada para pebelajar.   Kata Kunci:Multimedia Pembelajaran, Bangun Ruang.   Abstrak:This study aims to help the sixth stateelementry school learners to understand the concept of solid geometry volum using instructional media in the form of multimedialearning equipment. The method used in this research is the development of research methods. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, and documentation. Data collector is observation sheet, guidelines for observation, interview, questionnaire, and documents. Data management is done by using qualitative analysis deskirptif. Abstract

Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat rancangan multimedia interaktif pembelajaran Kimia, menampilkan profil multimedia interaktif pembelajaran Kimia serta mengetahui perolehan belajar konsep Ikatan Kimia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pengelolaan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Perolehan belajar pebelajar melalui pengembangan multiedia interaktif pembelajaran Kimia untuk perolehan belajar konsep Ikatan Kimia kelas X IPA   menghasilkan kualifikasi baik, dengan nilai rata-rata 88,57 (Tuntas) dari kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) 80. Hasil penelitian  ini menyatakan bahwa multimedia interaktif pembelajaran Kimia yang telah dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran Kimia khususnya untuk konsep Ikatan Kimia.   Kata Kunci : Multimedia Interaktif, Perolehan Belajar Konsep Abstract : The purpose of this study was to create an interactive multimedia instructional design Chemistry, featuring profiles interactive multimedia learning and knowing the acquisition of Chemical Bonding .The method used in this research is research development. Data collection tools observation sheet, guidelines for observation, interview, questionnaire, and documents. Data management is done by using deskriptif qualitative analysis. Acquisition of learning learners through the development of interactive learning multiedia Chemistry for the acquisition of chemical bonding concepts learned X Science Grade produce good qualifications, with an average value of 88.57 (Completed) from the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) 80.  These results indicatet that multimedia learning interaktf Chemistry who have developed a decent used to study Chemistry in particular to the concept of chemical bonding.   Keywords: Interactive Multimedia, Acquisition Learning Concepts

Abstract

AbstractThe method of this research uses Research and Development approach which consists of 4 stages, these are: initial data research and collection, plan and development, product developmant, and also evaluation and revision. The subjects of this research are students of X MIPA 1  SMAN l Bengkayang which are 30 students. The result shows that: (1) Based on validators’ appraisal, which are mathematics program’s lecturer of the Faculty KIP and also two mathematics teachers, learning media of mathematics in a form of flipbook is categorized as valid (2) Besed on the assessment from the observer about implementation, learning activities using instructional media in a flipbook’s form are categorized as practical. (3) Based on writtent test results of students’ mathematical communication skills it has gained 3.49 average score as good category while average score of students’ verbal communication skills is 3.85 as excellent category, so learning media in flipbook’s form is declared as effective.  Learning media, which uses flipbook and is associated with mathematical communication skills of students, meets quality criterias, these are: valid, practical and effectiveKeywords: Development Research, Flipbook, Mathematical Communication Skill, Probability, Quality.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims is to describe the potention of students in thinking creatively in accomplishing narrative questions about triangle in Senior High School Boedi Oetomo. The method of this study is a case study  by which the result  is explained descriptively. The subject of this researchwas 26 students with the object of the study is creative thinking in accomplishing the questions about triangle. The result of this study shows that the potention of students creative thking in the aspect of fluency scored 80.34 %, 53.84 % for flexibility, 75 % for the originality and 39.42% for the details. It could be concluded that the potention of students creative thinking in acommplishing triangle tasks in form of story questions Boedi Oetomo Senior High School could be categorized as very good in the aspect of fluency, enough for the aspect of flexibility, good in the aspect originality and in the aspect of detail was weak.Key words : Potention of Creative Thinking, Story questions, Triangle Material

Abstract

AbstractThe Purpose of this development research is to develop the image media on the subjects of image capturing techniques in improving student learning outcomes. The method of this research used is development method with descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of the study were 29 students of the tenth graders. Techniques and data collection tools using; (1) expert validation questionnaire, (2) observation guide, (3) pretest and posttest. Data analysis using qualitative analysis. The results of the expert validation questionnaire validated and feasible to be used in research. Student learning outcomes measured through pretest and posttest of the basic techniques of capturing image are known; (l) pretest result shows 62.06 % of student unfinished while 37.93% student result of learning is complete, (2) result of posttest known 68.96% student result of learning complete and 31.03% student result of learning not complete. Learning by using the image media in image capturing technique subject to the students on the tenth graders in SMK Mardiri Pontianak, during the learning process conducted observations of student learning activities, the observation of student activity in learning activities known 82.75% students are very active and 17.24% of active students.Keywords: Image Media, Image Capturing Technique

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai pengaruh pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan saintifik terhadap peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak Kota Pontianak Provinsi Kalimantan Barat.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian randomized pretest-posttest comparison group design. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antar pretest dan postest, yakni menggunakan pendekatan saintifik (pretest : 61,78% ; postest :69,33 %) dan menggunakan pendekatan CTL (pretest 58,50  % ; postes 65,89 %). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa menggunakan pendekatan saintifik lebih besar daripada kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan contextual teaching and learning dan kontribusi pendekatan saintifik terhadap peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa tergolong sedang. Kata Kunci: Pendekatan Saintifik, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis. Abstract : This research aims to obtain information about the effect of instruction using scientific approach on the improvement of mathematical problem solving ability among students of State Junior High School (SMP Negeri) 13 Pontianak, West Kalimantan. The method used in this research was experiment research with a randomized pretest-posttest comparison group design. The results of data analysis showed that there were significant differences between the pretest and the posttest, namely using the scientific approach (pretest: 61.78%; posttest: 69.3 3%) and using CTL approach (pretest 58.50%; posttest 65.89%). This suggests that the improvement of the students’ ability in the mathematical problem solving using scientific approach is higher than the ability in the mathematical problem solving using contextual teaching and learning, and the improvement of the students’ ability is classified as moderate. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengemukakan tentang perangkat tes kemampuan problem solving dan penalaran matematis siswa kelas XI SMK. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah tersusunnya perangkat tes yang dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi kemampuan problem solving dan penalaran matematis siswa yang sesuai, valid, reliabel serta mempunyai daya pembeda dan indeks kesukaran butir soal yang memadai. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pengembangan (R&D). Yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini adalah perangkat tes. Langkah-langkah pengembangan tes yaitu: (1) front-end analysis; (2) learner analysis; (3) analisis materi; (4) menyusun spesifikasi tes; (5) menyusun kisi-kisi butir soal; (6) menulis butir soal; (7) reproduksi tes terbatas; (8) one to one; (9) analisis kualitatif; (10) melakukan uji coba tes; (11) analisis kuantitatif; (12) revisi; (13) merakit tes; (14) melakukan tes; dan (15) menafsirkan hasil tes. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah perangkat tes yang dibuat dapat digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan problem solving dan penalaran matematis yang dimiliki siswa.   Kata Kunci: Problem Solving, Penalaran Matematis   Abstract: This research suggests about problem solving and mathematical reasoning ability test instruments in grade IX students of SMK. The aim of this study is to draft tests that can identify problem solving ability and mathematical reasoning which are appropriate, valid, reliable and have distinguishing features and the adequate index of item difficulty. The method used in this research is the research and development method (R&D). This research developing the test instruments. The steps taken in developing the test are: (1) front-end analysis; (2) learner analysis; (3) task analysis; (4) composing the test specifications; (5) composing the test plan; (6) composing the test items; (7) reproduction limited test; (8) one to one; (9) qualitative analysis; (10) testing of item; (11) quantitative analysis; (12) revising the test items; (13) packaging the test items; (14) dissemination the test items; and (15) interpreting test results. Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengembangan modul untuk pendamping iman anak sekolah minggu dan pelaksanaan pengembangan modul untuk pendampingan iman anak sekolah minggu dengan subjek pendamping iman anak sekolah minggu adalah Paroki Santo Yosef Meraban Keuskupan Ketapang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian pengembangan Borg & Gall dengan model desain ADDIE. Data diperoleh melalui kegiatan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang diberlakukan pada subjek penelitian. Alur dari pelaksanaan penelitian ini melalui tiga tahapan utama yaitu (1) Tahap pra-penelitian, yang meliputi analisis  kebutuhan, penelitian dan pengumpulan data, dan tahap perencanaan, (2) Tahap pengembangan draft produk, yang meliputi mengembangkan tes kriteria, mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran, mengembangkan dan memilih bahan ajar, merancang dan melaksanakan evaluasi formatif, serta merevisi paket pembelajaran, dan (3) Tahap uji coba dan revisi evaluasi, yang meliputi uji coba tahap pertama dan  revisi hasil ujicoba pertama, dan hasil ujicoba revisi pertama di ujicobakan kembali. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukan pengembangan melalui kegiatan validasi ahli media, materi, dan desain pembelajaran sebagian besar dinyatakan valid dengan hasil pretes 68,63 sedangkan hasil posttest 77,22. Penigkatan juga dapat dilihat dari hasil uji 2 t sampel berpasangan yang menunjukan nilai hitung > t (11,09 > 1,708), artinya terdapat peningkatan pendamping iman anak sekolah minggu menggunkan modul. Dari sisi pengembangan iman dapat dilihat dari perolehan hasil pendampingan pada pembelajaran sekolah minggu melalui penggunaan modul pendamping memperoleh hasil yang baik, yang ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya jumlah peserta didik yang hadir, dan siswa lebih aktif dalam bertanya dan menjawab pertanyaan yang disampaikan pendamping.Kata Kunci : Pendamping Iman Anak, Sekolah Minggu

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to develop google classroom based cereer information service for vocational school. The development model is used a modification of Borg and Gall development research and Dick and Carey instruction model desaign including : initial product and field care used direct communication, indirect interview guidelines, quetionnaires and test. Data analysis uses qualitative and quantitative analysis. The result of the experts assessment show that statistic google classroom based career information service for vocational school is suitable for use. Student response result in field trials showed positive result on the use career information media in service. The application of media in service shows that student more understand about their future career. Based on data analysis, the result of this aims indicate that media that was developed can be used by leaners easily, enjoyable and can be used independently. Keywords: Career Information, Google Classroom, Service Media,
