Abstract

This study aims to explore how social support and social relationships are perceived and experienced by university students who consume alcoholic beverages on campus, and how these factors relate to expressions of aggressiveness. The research is motivated by the growing concern over aggressive behaviors among students involved in alcohol consumption, as well as the limited number of studies that address this issue from a social and cultural perspective. Previous research has predominantly employed quantitative approaches or focused on individual psychological factors. To address this gap, the present study adopts a descriptive qualitative approach with an interpretivist orientation, aiming to uncover the meanings and lived experiences of students. Eight active students from the Gunungsari campus of Universitas Negeri Makassar were selected as participants using purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings reveal that forms of social support emotional, informational, and instrumental as well as social relationships characterized by cooperation, accommodation, and assimilation, shape how students interpret and respond to situations involving alcohol use and aggression. These results suggest that aggressive behavior is not solely an individual response but is deeply embedded in the surrounding social context. This study contributes to the literature on student behavior and mental health from a socio-cultural perspective, particularly within the context of higher education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui aktivitas belajar siswa, peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siwa, respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran Bleended Learning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif komparatif dengan dua kelas yakni XI MIA 1 kelas eksperimen dan XI MIA 3 kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, soal test, serta lembar angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) aktivitas belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari 3 pertemuan dengan presentase 74%, 77%, kriteria baik dan 83% sangat baik. ditinjau dari tiga pertemuan dilakukan secara umum dalam penerapan model (Bleended Learning) yang diterapkan dalam pembelajaran mayoritas disetiap indikator tiap pertemuan mengalami peningkatan. (2) Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa antara eksperimen dan kontrol dengan nilai rata-rata N-gain 0,43 dan 0,21 terutama pada indikator KBK 3 dan 4 sig. <0,05. (3) Presentase rata-rata angket respon siswa secara keseluruhan sebesar 84% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Disimpulkan bahwa (1) penerapan model (Bleended Learning) meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa selama pembelajaran. (2) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas menggunakan model Bleended Learning dengan kelas yang tidak menggunakan Bleended Learning. (3) respon siswa membuktikan peserta didik tertarik dalam proses pembelajaran dinilai lebih mudah dalam memahami, berpendapat, dan menyimpulkan materi dengan pembelajaran Bleended Learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganlisis keefektifan soal-soal AKM literasi dan numerasi, memetakan kemampuan membaca dan menghitung, serta mengkorelasikan AKM kelas dengan keterampian berfikir logis. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran (mixed methods). Penelitian ini dilakukan di tiga sekolah yang berbeda letak geografisnya. Sampel yang digunakan memakai teknik purpossive sampling yaitu kelas VIII D SMPN 2 Majalengka, kelas VIII A SMPN 7 Kota Cirebon, kelas VIII B SMP IT Al-Muqoddas dengan total 60 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan soal-soal AKM baik kategori literasi dan numerasi mampu memetakan kemampuan membaca dan kemampuan menghitung peserta didik. Pemetaan AKM diperoleh dari pelaporan hasil AKM berdasarkan jenis sekolah, jenis kelamin, dan tingkat prestasi peserta didik. Hasil pemetaan menunjukkan kompetensi “perlu intervensi khusus” berada dilevel tertinggi dibandingkan tiga kompetensi lainnya (dasar, cakap, dan mahir) dengan presentase 40% pada literasi dan 54% pada numerasi. Hasil AKM dikorelasikan dengan skor TOLT yang merupakan alat untuk mengukur keterampilan berfikir logis. Analisis korelasi antara AKM literasi dengan skor TOLT berada pada kategori tinggi yaitu 0,99 begitupun halnya pada AKM numerasi berada pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai 0,98.

Abstract

Developments in the field of education in the industrial era 4.0 demanded a change in students' perspectives on the quality of learning such as learning in biology subjects. Biology learning can foster students' thinking skills to solve everyday problems through observation and observations that are based on a scientific attitude and can develop scientific process skills. To achieve this, it is necessary to choose the right model. Student-centered models such as project based learning are very suitable for today's learning supported by adequate technology and increase student learning interest such as augmented reality. This study aims to see an increase in science process skills and scientific attitudes of students from the development of augmented reality-assisted project based learning models. The research method with the ADDIE development model and the type of research and development research. The research instrument consisted of interviews, observations and tests, the population of all students in class XI IPA and samples XI IPA 1, XI IPA 3. The results showed that for KPS the average pretest score for the experimental class was 49.9 and the average posttest score was 80.5 while in the control class the average pretest score was 48.7 and the posttest average score was 60 and for scientific attitude the average experimental pretest score was 60, the posttest was 86.9 while the control class averaged the pretest score was 58.9 posttest was 81. Followed by analysis t test and obtained a sig(2-tailed) value of 0.000<0.05, so it was concluded that the development of the AR-assisted PjBL model can improve KPS and scientific attitudes of students. The recommendation from this research is that this project-based learning model manual is used to improve problem-solving skills in different materials.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low value of mastery of the concept of biology lessons in Ecology material at SMAN 1 Lohbener, due to the lack of application of a learning model that activates students in the learning process. The Project Based Learning model is a project-based learning model with one of its characteristics being product-oriented that has entrepreneurial value. The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of students' mastery of entrepreneurial concepts and attitudes based on local wisdom. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design with the sample used being taken purposively as many as 50 students, which were divided into experimental and control groups. The data collection technique uses a concept mastery test, an entrepreneurial attitude questionnaire, and a student response questionnaire. The result of this study is that there is an increase in students' mastery of concepts in Ecology material through the application of a project-based learning model which is evidenced by a significant difference in mastery of the concept of the experimental class with a control class with a probability value (p) of 0.001< 0.05, and a nominal gain index of the experimental class of 0.34 with an increase in the medium category and an increase in students' entrepreneurial attitudes based on local wisdom as evidenced by the value of The normalized gain index in the experimental class was 0.03 with a low improvement category.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) to implement Project Based Learning (PjBL) in improving students' learning outcomes and creativity on the topic of Hydroponics, (2) to determine the impact of PjBL implementation on improving students' learning outcomes, (3) to determine the impact of PjBL implementation on enhancing students' creativity, and (4) to determine students' responses to the Project Based Learning model in improving learning outcomes and creativity. The research method used a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study comprised all 11th-grade students of the Multimedia and Motorcycle Engineering programs at SMK Pejuang Negeri Haurgeulis Indramayu, consisting of 2 classes. The research sample was 32 students from the 11th-grade Multimedia program. The sample was determined by selecting one class as the experimental class using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques included observation, tests, and questionnaires. The analysis techniques used were descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of this study concluded that: (1) The implementation of learning using the PjBL model showed that teachers were able to carry out learning effectively, marked by the implementation of the PjBL model with an average percentage of 85%, where observer 1 had 10% unimplemented and observer 2 had 15% unimplemented. (2) The pre-test learning outcomes above the minimum passing grade (KKM) were 31.23%, while the post-test learning outcomes above the KKM were 87.5%. Thus, it can be concluded that there was a 56.25% increase from pre-test to post-test, which is categorized as moderate. (3) The use of the PjBL model in hydroponics projects was very positive for developing students' creativity, as reflected in the average creativity score of 82%, which is categorized as good. (4) The learning process of hydroponics projects using PjBL received positive responses from students, indicated by a percentage of 94.4%.

Abstract

Sekolah Hamidah Sampurna (SHS) merupakan sekolah swasta yang baru didirikan pada tahun 2021. SHS menerima para siswa untuk pendidikan dari kelas playgroup, TK, SD kelas, dan SMP. SHS merupakan sekolah dengan salah satu visinya adalah memajukan negara dengan teknologi. Salah satu pembelajarannya mulai jenjang SD adalah pengenalan terkait coding for kids, mata pelajaran yang berorientasi agar siswa lebih memahami pemrograman. Namun, karena SHS baru memulai pengajarannya pada semester ganjil 2023-2024, maka masih banyak konten pelajaran yang belum terisi, khususnya pada subjek coding for kids. Hal ini mendorong tim pengabdian masyarakat untuk membantu penjabaran materi pengajaran coding for kids untuk jenjang SD dan SMP. Pada kegiatan pertama, tim kami merancang materi pengajaran coding for kids disertai aplikasi eksternal pendukung. Tim kami juga mendampingi dan memantau pemahaman siswa melalui gurunya di kelas secara kontinyu dan berkelanjutan. Di setiap akhir semester kami mengevaluasi seberapa efektif proses pembelajaran coding for kids ini sehingga ada perbaikan yang berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan efektifitas pembelajaran pada semester berikutnya.

Abstract

Sebuah kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat telah diadakan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Sekolah Hamidah Sampurna (SHS) di Bandung, dengan tujuan utama meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa dalam teknologi informasi melalui kurikulum terstruktur dan pendekatan praktis. Program ini mengenalkan pembelajaran robotika dengan menggunakan teknologi Microbit, dimana konsep dasar robotika dan pemrograman Microbit disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan siswa, serta memberikan pelatihan intensif kepada guru dan siswa. Siswa tidak hanya belajar teori, tetapi juga menerapkannya dalam proyek praktis seperti sistem penyiraman tanaman otomatis. Selain itu, kegiatan seperti seminar teknologi dan hackathon diadakan untuk memperluas dampak positifnya. Respons positif dari peserta menunjukkan bahwa inisiatif ini berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi teknis siswa dan merangsang kreativitas mereka dalam menghadapi tantangan masa depan. Keberhasilan program ini menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan konten pembelajaran yang relevan untuk mendukung persiapan generasi mendatang menghadapi era teknologi yang semakin maju.

Abstract

Di era digital, pemahaman dan kemampuan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi telah menjadi keterampilan esensial. Untuk mendukung tujuan tersebut, program pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Sekolah Hamidah Sampurna (SHS), Bandung, dengan menyusun kurikulum terstruktur berbasis pendekatan praktis. Program ini memperkenalkan pembelajaran robotika dan pemrograman Micro:bit yang difokuskan pada pengembangan aplikasi alarm. Melalui modul pembelajaran fleksibel, kegiatan ini dirancang agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan kemampuan siswa, sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih aktif dan efektif. Pelatihan juga diberikan kepada para guru untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mereka dalam memanfaatkan modul, memastikan proses pembelajaran berjalan terarah. Untuk memperluas dampak program, Hackathon 3.0 diselenggarakan, meliputi seminar teknologi dan lomba Spelling Bee, Math, serta projek Arduino, dengan melibatkan 44 peserta (24 siswa dan 20 guru) dari empat sekolah. Respons positif peserta menunjukkan keberhasilan program ini dalam meningkatkan kompetensi teknis dan memacu kreativitas siswa, sekaligus menegaskan pentingnya konten pembelajaran yang relevan dalam mempersiapkan generasi muda menghadapi perkembangan teknologi.

Abstract

This study investigates the contribution of traditional medicine on health care access in Indonesia through a quantitative cross-cultural approach. Utilizing a sample of 350 individuals that is diverse in terms of age, gender, and ethnic background, the study investigates the prevalence and characteristics that impact the use of traditional medicine. The findings show that traditional healing methods are heavily relied upon, especially by elderly people and members of specific ethnic groups. The necessity for culturally responsive healthcare practices is highlighted by the discovery that cultural beliefs are important determinants of health-seeking behaviour. The results add to the growing body of knowledge about the integration of traditional medicine into modern healthcare systems by highlighting the significance of customizing therapies to the many cultural settings found throughout Indonesia.
