Abstract

Kurangnya keterampilan masyarakat mengakibatkan terjadinya kesenjangan ekonomi dan terjadinya kejahatan di lingkungan masyarakat. Untuk mengurangi permasalahan tersebut dosen yang berada di sekitar lingkungan kampus melaksanakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan di gampong uteunkot kota Lhokseumawe dengan tujuan memberikan pelatihan instalasi listrik mandiri untuk menambah kemampuan bagi masyarakat gampong. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan memberikan materi singkat untuk menyamakan pemahaman instalasi kepada peserta, kemudian memberikan pelatihan praktis berupa instalasi pada papan peraga agar peserta merasakan pelatihan secara nyata. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pelaksanaan pelatihan meningkatnya kemampuan peserta untuk instalasi sederhana dan peningkatan kemampuan untuk mengaplikasikan instalasi sesuai standar agar aman dan mengurangi potensi kebakaran akibat kesalah instalasi.

Abstract

Choosing a major is a crucial decision for prospective students entering higher education. An inappropriate choice may lead to low learning motivation, poor academic performance, and career mismatches. This study aims to develop a multiclass majors recommendation system based on machine learning using the Random Forest algorithm. The dataset consists of 855 student and alumni records from 10 majors at Dharma Andalas University (UNIDHA), including academic attributes (subject grades, GPA, entrance test results) and non-academic attributes (gender, high school major, interest, and alumni career field). The model was trained using an 80:20 train-test ratio and evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and macro-average AUC. The results show that the Random Forest outperforms Decision Tree, K-Nearest Neighbor, and Naive Bayes, achieving an accuracy of 0.920 and AUC of 0.972. These findings demonstrate that ensemble-based algorithms are highly effective for multiclass recommendation problems and can serve as a foundation for academic and career guidance systems in universities.

Abstract

The availability of fisheries infrastructure data in an area is the first step in improving and enhancing the management of the fisheries system, because the existence of fisheries infrastructure is an inseparable part in supporting the success of fishing activities. With accurate infrastructure data, it can be used as a reference in planning the development of marine and fisheries centers. In West Aceh Regency, there are currently many marine and fisheries infrastructures, but no research has been conducted on mapping fisheries centers based on the distribution of existing fisheries infrastructure. The absence of updated infrastructure data is worried to have an impact on the optimization of marine and fisheries resource management. The purpose of this study is to map fisheries centers based on the distribution of fisheries infrastructure. The method used in this study is the survey method, where data collection in the field was carried out in three sub-districts that directly border the coastal area, namely Samatiga District, Johan Pahlawan District and Meureubo District. The infrastructure coordinates obtained from the field will be processed and presented in the form of a map using the ArcGIS application. The results of the study showed that in West Aceh Regency there are 1 PPI and 6 TPI, 31 infrastructure for procurement and repair of fishing vessels, and 9 infrastructures before and  after fishing. The fisheries center in Samatiga District is in the Kuala Bubon area, the fisheries center in Johan Pahlawan District is along the Krueng Cangkoi estuary river, while the fisheries center in Meureubo District is in one of the rivers in Gampong Meureubo and Gampong Ujong Drien.

Abstract

Even though the potential for zakat in Indonesia presents an astonishing figure of 317 trillion rupiahs per year, Indonesia still has not been able to solve the problem of poverty that haunts the country. This study aims to comprehensively examine the problems and smart solutions to find a new zakat optimization model that is properly implemented to reduce poverty and unemployment in Indonesia. This research is field research using a descriptive qualitative approach design. The research findings reveal several problems that impede the optimal realization of zakat; zakat is not the main priority of government policy, low literacy of the zakat community, the majority of the utilization of zakat is consumptive oriented rather than product-oriented, lack of public trust in the government, low quality of human resources who are professional and competent in the field of zakat, the calculation of zakat is not correct, and negative public perceptions of the zakat profession. The zakat optimization model that can be implemented includes; education on the essence of the zakat paradigm, empowering muzaki, increasing the accountability of zakat management institutions, integrating professional zakat and income tax, innovating productive zakat distribution mechanisms, and building community and government synergy. The results of research findings can become innovations and material for evaluating policies in updating the progress of zakat in Indonesia both at national, provincial or district, or regional central institutions.

Abstract

 Kegiatan pada program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi kepada guru SMK Yayasan Pendidikan Harapan Stabat Kabupaten Langkat dalam mengembangkan, meningkatkan motivasi dan kemampuan dalam menggunakan media belajar online dengan konten yang menarik. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam melaksanakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat maka dapat diperoleh sosialisasi program kegiatan oleh tim pengabdian tentang bagaimana pemanfaatan media belajar online bagi guru SMK Yayasan Pendidikan Harapan pada saat mengadapi pandemi covid-19, manajemen belajar efektif saat pandemi covid-19, pelatihan menggunakan media belajar online (daring), strategi guru dalam memberikan rasa sukses belajar daring bagi siswa di SMK Yayasan Pendidikan Harapan Stabat. Dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat mengenai pemanfaatan media belajar online bagi guru SMK Yayasan Pendidikan Harapan di masa pandemi covid-19 ini dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi guru SMK Yayasan Pendidikan Harapan seperti informasi yang berkembang seperti manajemen pembelajaran efektif di masa pandemi, memanfaatkan platform medsos (media sosial) menjadi saluran pembelajaran daring, serta tips sukses belajar daring bagi siswa.

Abstract

The practice of granting clemency to corruption offenders who return misappropriated assets remains insufficiently examined within the framework of Islamic law, giving rise to an unresolved tension between humanitarian considerations and substantive justice. While existing studies have largely addressed clemency and asset recovery from the perspective of positive law, scholarly attention to their normative implications in Islamic law remains limited, particularly with regard to ghulul (the misappropriation of public wealth), the obligation of restitution (rad al-mazalim), and preventive sanctions (tazir). This article critically examines whether granting clemency to corrupt offenders who return assets can be justified under Islamic law, while also assessing its compatibility with Indonesia’s positive legal system. This study employs a juridical-normative approach by analysing primary legal materials, including presidential regulations on clemency and statutory provisions on corruption eradication, alongside classical and contemporary Islamic legal sources. The findings indicate that although clemency in positive law may function as a humanitarian and rehabilitative instrument, its legitimacy must be contingent upon full asset restitution and a careful evaluation of its socio-economic impact. From an Islamic legal perspective, sincere repentance (taubat nasuha) accompanied by restitution constitutes an absolute moral and legal obligation; however, it does not negate the necessity of tazir sanctions as a deterrent mechanism to safeguard the public interest and prevent the recurrence of similar offences. This article underscores the need to reconceptualise justice in the adjudication of corruption cases through the integration of Islamic legal principles into clemency and asset restitution policies, with the aim of establishing a more comprehensive and substantively just framework for corruption eradication in Indonesia.

Abstract

Factors affecting paddy rice production in Paya Bili Sa Village, Birem Bayeun District, East Aceh Regency. This research was conducted in Paya Bili Sa Village, Birem Bayeun District, East Aceh Regency. Sampling was carried out using the slovin formula with an error tolerance of 15%, from a total population of 145 people, a sample of 34 people was obtained. Data processing is carried out using SPSS 20 software. The results of statistical analysis with the double linear regression method, obtained the value of Y= 98.734 + 3586.085 X1 + 0.000159 X2 + 0.005696 X3 + 0.000521 X4 + 0.000300 X5. The results of the coefficient of determination (R2) test showed the relationship between the variables of land area, labor costs, seed costs, fertilizer costs and pesticide costs had a very strong effect on paddy rice production, Test t, showed that variables of land area, labor costs, seed costs, fertilizer costs had a significant effect on paddy rice production, while pesticide variables did not affect paddy rice production,  For the F test, it was shown that the variables of land area, labor costs, seed costs, fertilizer costs and pesticide costs significantly affected paddy rice production, in Paya Bili Sa Village, Birem Bayeun District, East Aceh Regency.

Abstract

The quality of human resources is a decisive factor in the success of Islamic educational institutions, yet studies on Islamic transformational leadership and its impact on teacher performance remain limited. This research addresses the gap by examining the role of transformational leadership, work motivation, and job satisfaction in shaping teacher performance at Madrasah Aliyah Riyadhul Jannah Subang, an institution facing challenges of low motivation and high workload among teachers. Using a quantitative survey method, data were collected from 16 teachers and analyzed through regression techniques. The findings indicate that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, while transformational leadership and job satisfaction show no significant effect. This suggests that structural and cultural factors within the madrasah, including workload distribution and institutional norms, may weaken the influence of leadership and satisfaction compared to motivation. The study implies that strengthening teacher motivation is crucial for performance improvement in Islamic education, while leadership approaches must be contextualized to the realities of madrasah culture. These results highlight the need for further exploration of Islamic transformational leadership models in enhancing teacher performance.

Abstract

Medical records are crucial documents that document all healthcare services. Accurate coding forms the basis for claims billing, research, and clinical decision-making. However, incomplete and inaccurate recording often presents obstacles, necessitating a coding audit. This Community Service project aimed to identify the stages of a coding audit using qualitative analysis of inpatients. The audit was conducted on four cases. The analysis used six review components: consistency of diagnosis and treatment, clinical recording, treatment justification, informed consent, documentation practices, and potential for compensation. The results of the medical record coding audit indicated that most components were consistent and met standards, including diagnosis, treatment, clinical recording, and completion of informed consent. However, inconsistencies were still found in instructions for discontinuing or replacing medications. There were no incidents that could potentially result in compensation. However, improvements are still needed in the documentation of instructions for discontinuing or replacing medications. The results emphasize the importance of ongoing socialization and monitoring to optimize the quality of medical records.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat berperan sebagai sebagai sarana nyata dalam menjembatani ilmu pengetahuan dan kebutuhan riil masyarakat, sekaligus menjadi bagian integrasi dalam pengembangan kapasitas institusi dan kemajuan karier akademik dosen. Namun, pada praktiknya tidak semua dosen memiliki kesiapan dan keterampilan yang mumpuni dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan maupun penyusunan luaran berupa artikel. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kembali pemahaman dasar dan keterampilan teknis dosen pemula dalam merancang, mendokumentasikan, serta menulis artikel ilmiah berbasis kegiatan pengabdian. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara partisipatif melingkupi perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan ini mampu memperkuat pemahaman teknis dan menunjukkan kesiapan dalam perencanaan pengabdian yang ditunjukkan dengan munculnya tiga inisiasi kegiatan pengabdian yang terbagi kedalam tiga kelompok pengabdian sebagai rencana tindak lanjut. Kegiatan refreshment ini menjadi langkah strategis dan relevan yang mendukung percepatan adaptasi dosen pemula serta berkontribusi pada peningkatan kesiapan institusional dalam mendukung kinerja tri dharma perguruan tinggi.
