Abstract

Geographic Information System is a geospatial software system that has the ability to build, store, manage and display geographically referenced information. This research is motivated by the availability of very limited information regarding the location of boarding houses which causes students, especially new students, who tend not to have accurate and relevant information so they do not know which locations have affordable boarding houses, near lectures, workplaces, or educational institutions. Therefore the purpose of this research is to provide complete information about boarding houses, students do not need to spend time visiting boarding houses one by one in search of information about boarding houses. With an informative web-based geographic information system mapping boarding houses and interesting so that it can make it easier for users, especially new students who want to do a search for boarding houses around the Padang area. The results of this Web-based Boarding Map Mapping Information System research can provide information about boarding houses which can make it easier for users to search. Ari boarding houses such as facilities, room availability, rental fee information, and the location of the boarding house, and a map to show the location of the boarding house.

Abstract

Three radiation detection tools were employed to assess natural radiation levels in Mamuju Regency, West Sulawesi, Indonesia. These tools comprised the NaI(Tl) Scintillator, the Geiger Muller Counter (GMC), and the Electronic Personal Dosimeter (EPD). The NaI(Tl) Scintillator and GMC measured ambient dose equivalent (H*(10)), while the EPD exclusively gauged personal dose equivalent (Hp(10)). A total of 75 measuring points were designated for assessment. Results from H*(10) measurements indicated that the GMC recorded an average H*(10) 41% higher than that of the NaI(Tl) Scintillator, with specific rates of 0.769 µSv/h and 0.457 µSv/h, respectively. Both instruments exhibited proficiency in detecting elevated levels of radiation. Discrepancies in the outcomes were attributed to differences in detector type and efficiency. The GMC, equipped with an energy-compensated detector, demonstrated enhanced efficiency compared to the NaI(Tl) Scintillator, particularly when subjected to high energy flux radiation. Anomalies emerged in the Hp(10) measurements, which surpassed the H*(10) measurements. This difference is due to the EPD's use of a conventional GM detector, which is capable of detecting gamma, beta, and X-ray radiation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan biofertilizer terhadap hasil pertanian dan kualitas tanah pada tanaman jagung dan kedelai. Menggunakan desain eksperimen randomized block design (RBD), penelitian ini membandingkan perlakuan biofertilizer berbasis bakteri pengikat nitrogen, mikoriza, pupuk kimia, dan kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biofertilizer meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman, jumlah buah, dan hasil panen lebih baik dibandingkan pupuk kimia. Selain itu, biofertilizer memperbaiki kualitas tanah dengan meningkatkan kandungan unsur hara dan populasi mikroorganisme tanah. Meskipun biaya awal biofertilizer lebih tinggi, penggunaannya lebih efisien dan menguntungkan dalam jangka panjang, serta berkontribusi pada keberlanjutan pertanian yang ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini menyarankan penyuluhan kepada petani mengenai manfaat dan cara aplikasi biofertilizer untuk mendukung pertanian yang lebih berkelanjutan.

Abstract

ABSTRAK  Penguatan Komunitas melalui Pengabdian dan Dialog Terbuka: Upaya Membangun Kesejahteraan Bersama bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dengan mengatasi tantangan sosial dan ekonomi melalui partisipasi aktif, sekaligus membangun solidaritas di dalam komunitas. Analisis situasi menunjukkan bahwa banyak masyarakat masih menghadapi masalah kesenjangan sosial dan kurangnya akses terhadap pendidikan serta sumber daya ekonomi, yang mempengaruhi kualitas hidup mereka. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup dialog terbuka yang melibatkan masyarakat, workshop kolaboratif untuk menciptakan solusi inovatif, dan pelatihan keterampilan yang relevan. Hasil pelaksanaan program menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran akan hak-hak individu, terciptanya jejaring sosial yang lebih kuat, serta inisiatif lokal yang lebih berkelanjutan. Kesimpulan dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dalam proses pengambilan keputusan berkontribusi signifikan pada peningkatan kesejahteraan komunitas. Rekomendasi untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut mencakup perlunya dukungan berkelanjutan dari pemerintah dan lembaga sosial, serta pelatihan lanjutan untuk masyarakat agar inisiatif yang dihasilkan dapat berfungsi secara mandiri. Implikasi dari hasil pengabdian ini mengindikasikan bahwa model dialog terbuka ini dapat diterapkan di berbagai konteks komunitas, menjadikannya sebagai strategi yang efektif untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat di seluruh dunia.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi peta interaktif berbasis web telah menjadi solusi efektif dalam memberikan informasi lokasi secara real-time dan akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan peta interaktif untuk lokasi SPBU Pertamina di Kota Padang, sehingga memudahkan pengguna dalam menemukan lokasi SPBU terdekat, lengkap dengan informasi detail seperti nama, alamat, koordinat geografis, dan layanan yang tersedia. Sistem ini dibangun menggunakan teknologi Leaflet.js dan OpenStreetMap, yang memungkinkan integrasi data lokasi dengan visualisasi peta yang dinamis. Data lokasi SPBU diperoleh dari survei dan database instansi terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem peta interaktif ini mampu meningkatkan aksesibilitas informasi bagi masyarakat umum, khususnya pengguna kendaraan bermotor di Kota Padang. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model yang dapat diterapkan di kota-kota lain untuk kebutuhan serupa.

Abstract

Bridge is one of the important infrastructure facilities which functioned to connect roads that support the development of social and economic in a region. In Indonesia, each year, the limited fund is available to accommodate all construction projects.  In practice, the government of Aceh Besar District has limited District Revenue and Expenditure Budgets (APBK) to finance the entire project of bridge construction. Considering that many other sectors still require APBK funding, the priority rank of the bridge development needs to be determined. This study aims to identify the dominant criteria in determining the development of bridges and the priority rank of bridge development projects. This study used a mixed method approach which is a qualitative and quantitative method. The Qualitative method is related to respondent perception through distributing questionnaires and the qualitative method is related to numbers used through the perception score of respondents from the analysis.  Respondents are stakeholders and policymakers as many as 8 people. The questionnaire contains some criteria, namely the length of the bridge, construction costs, land use, accessibility, population, and regional development. Based on the literature review, those criteria can be used to obtain which bridge needs to be prioritized. Multi-Criteria Analysis is used to analyze those criteria from respondent perception. The results show that the dominant criteria in determining the construction of bridges in the project were construction costs with a weight of 0.35. It is also obtained that the bridge development project at first rank is the Kr. Keumeuruek with a value of 7.56.

Abstract

The Dipasiala tradition is a cultural practice that plays an important role in the Bugis community in Air Solok Batu Village, South Sumatra. However, the application of this custom often leads to divorce when it is done under duress. This study aims to analyse the problems that arise in relation to the Dipasiala custom, as well as to identify the position of the custom from the perspective of urf in the context of Islamic law. The method used is qualitative with in-depth interview techniques and participatory observation, which aims to explore the factors that influence the implementation of the custom, such as changes in social values, tensions between local traditions and Islamic legal principles, and challenges in maintaining cultural heritage in the midst of modernisation. The results of this study show that the theory of ‘urf as a theory in the study of Islamic law sees in terms of its validity that the dipasiala tradition carried out by the Bugis community in Air Solok Village has the potential to fall into the category of ’urf fasid, if the dipasiala tradition is carried out by coercion and the marriage ends in divorce. Then the implications of this research have a significant impact on academics and practitioners of Islamic law in formulating policies that are more sensitive to local cultural values, as well as for the community to maintain the sustainability of this tradition while still considering the principles of justice and harmony with Islamic law. This research also contributes to efforts to maintain the relevance of the Dipasiala tradition in maintaining the cultural identity of the Bugis community in South Sumatra in the era of globalisation.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menilai hubungan antara keputusan investasi, nilai perusahaan, likuiditas, dan profitabilitas, serta hubungan antara variabel-variabel tersebut dengan nilai perusahaan yang secara tidak langsung merupakan hasil dari keputusan investasi. Metodologi kuantitatif yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini didasarkan pada sumber data sekunder, khususnya Laporan Tahunan seluruh emiten yang terdaftar di IDX80 dari tahun 2020 sampai dengan tahun 2023. Untuk tahun 2020-2023, penelitian ini mencakup 26 perusahaan yang menjadi langganan indeks IDX80. Dengan menggunakan teknik probability sampling, sampel penelitian sesuai dengan populasi yang terdiri dari 26 emiten. Kelima variabel penelitian dijelaskan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif sebagai bagian dari pendekatan analisis data. Pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung di antara variabel-variabel tersebut diuji dengan menggunakan analisis SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur modal, profitabilitas, dan likuiditas memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan investasi. Profitabilitas dan likuiditas jauh lebih penting dalam menentukan nilai perusahaan daripada struktur modal. Nilai perusahaan sangat dipengaruhi oleh keputusan investasi, yang pada gilirannya dipengaruhi oleh profitabilitas, likuiditas, dan struktur modal.

Abstract

This study explores the leadership strategies adopted by the principal of SMAN 22 Palembang in enhancing educational quality. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with principals, teachers, and students. The findings reveal that a transformational leadership style marked by inspiration, empowerment, and innovation significantly improves teacher motivation and performance. Additionally, community support and adequate resources were found to be critical factors. This study underscores the importance of developing transformational competencies in school leadership and recommends targeted training programs and an environment conducive to continuous professional development.

Abstract

Illegal levies (extortion) are a form of corruption that harms the public and weakens trust in public institutions. This research aims to analyze criminal sanctions against extortionists in the perspective of positive law and Islamic criminal law and compare their approaches. The research method uses a qualitative approach through literature study of legal literature, regulatory documents, and interpretation of fiqh books. The results showed that in positive law, extortion is categorized as a criminal act of corruption with severe criminal penalties under the Corruption Eradication Law, such as a minimum prison sentence of 4 years to a maximum of 20 years, and additional penalties such as fines. Meanwhile, in Islamic criminal law, extortion is categorized as jarimah ta’zir with flexible sanctions adjusted by the judge, such as dismissal from office or return of extortion proceeds, which aims to maintain the public interest. The comparison shows that positive law focuses on deterrent effects and system protection, while Islamic law emphasizes moral justice and restoration of community rights. This research contributes to offering an integrative approach that combines the power of positive law and the values of Islamic law, in order to eradicate extortion effectively and fairly.
