Abstract

Kopi adalah merupakan salah komoditi andalan dari sektor perkebunan yang turut menyumbang devisa cukup besar, hal ini dapat dilihat dari semakin meningkatnya penikmat kopi yang tersebar di Indonesia. Namun demikian ternya untuk menghasilkan biji kopi yang berkualitas diperlukan perawatan, salah satunya adalah pada penanganan dan pencegahan hama dan penyakit yang menyerang tanaman kopi. Banyak petani yang kopi yang kesulitan dalam mengenali ciri dari hama atau penyakit yang menyerang tanaman kopi, baik pada daun, batang dan buah kopi. Kesalahan dalam mengenali ciri dari hama atau penyakit ini akan berakibat pada kesalahan dalam proses mengatasinya, tentunya akan berpengaruh pada hasil panen. Untuk memudahkan dalam pengenalan ciri dari hama dan penyakit ini perlu dibangun aplikasi yang dapat mengenali ciri dari hama dan penyakit yang menyerang tanaman kopi, sehingga dapat memberikan informasi kepadaaetani hama atau penyakit apa yang sedang menyerang tanaman kopi yang dikelolanya. Haar Like Feature dan Adaboost adalah merupakan salah satu algoritma yang dapat dipergunakan dalam melakukan identifikasi dan klasifikasi citra, sehingga dengan penggunaan algoritma ini dapat meningkatkan akurasi pendeteksian hama dan penyakit pada tanaman kopi.

Abstract

In the digital era, image edge detection plays an important role in various image processing applications such as medical analysis and object recognition. This research develops a hybrid model that combines the high accuracy of deep learning with the efficiency and robustness to noise of morphological processing to improve edge detection performance. The method used involves deep learning models for image feature extraction and morphological processing techniques to improve detection results. The research results show that this hybrid model is able to overcome the weaknesses of traditional methods and pure deep learning by producing edge detection that is smoother and more continuous, and more efficient in processing time. Tests on the BSDS500 dataset and medical images show that this model provides consistent performance in a variety of image conditions, including images with high noise and low contrast. This hybrid approach offers a practical and effective solution for a variety of image processing applications.

Abstract

The development and implementation of a Web-Based Geographic Information System (GIS) designed to help users discover viral culinary tourist spots, focusing on promoting local food culture. The system is built using the PHP programming language, leveraging its robust server-side scripting capabilities for dynamic web development. The GIS platform integrates various functionalities, including real-time mapping, geolocation services, and user-generated content, to offer an interactive experience for tourists. The platform allows users to search for culinary hotspots, view their locations on an interactive map, get directions, and read reviews from other users. Business owners can register and update information about their culinary spots, contributing to an up-to-date, community-driven database. The system employs a MySQL database to store location data, user profiles, and reviews, while Google Maps API is used for map visualization and geolocation services. The backend structure is built to handle high-traffic environments, using PHP's object-oriented features for efficient and scalable code management. Administrators can moderate content, ensuring the reliability and quality of the information provided. Implementing this system in PHP highlights the language’s flexibility in creating web-based GIS platforms, demonstrating how culinary tourism can be enhanced through modern web technologies. This paper discusses the technical aspects of the system’s architecture, database management, and frontend-backend integration, offering insights into the benefits of using PHP for developing similar GIS applications.

Abstract

Computer vision technology has advanced rapidly and made significant contributions across various fields, including object identification in images. This study aims to develop a computer vision-based system to identify fruit types from images. A machine learning model is applied using a dataset of fruit images to train the system for accurate fruit recognition. The primary processes include data acquisition, image preprocessing, feature extraction, model training, and performance evaluation. The results demonstrate a high level of accuracy in identifying specific fruit types, showcasing the potential of this technology in agricultural and commercial applications.

Abstract

Patient care requiring IV fluids is an important aspect in the medical field. Accuracy and speed in monitoring IV fluid content are very important to avoid the risk of over-infusion or under-infusion that can endanger patients. However, manual monitoring methods that are still widely used today have limitations in terms of accuracy and response time. This study aims to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based system that can monitor IV fluid content in real-time and send notifications to medical personnel if the IV fluid approaches the critical limit. This system is expected to increase efficiency and accuracy in monitoring IV fluids, as well as reduce the risk of human error. This study uses an IoT-based system development method with the main components being a weight sensor to measure IV fluid content and a communication module to send data to a central server. The collected data will be analyzed in real-time using a data processing algorithm to determine the critical level of fluid. Automatic notifications will be sent via a mobile application or alarm system when the IV fluid approaches a predetermined limit. The results of the study show that the developed system is able to monitor IV fluid content with high accuracy and send notifications in real-time. Tests on a number of patients have shown that the system can significantly reduce the incidence of over-infusion and under-infusion, as well as improve the response time of medical personnel to critical situations. The implementation of this technology is expected to be widely applied in hospitals and other healthcare facilities to improve patient safety.

Abstract

The village is the government responsible for organizing and managing village-level government resources and organizing population management to provide services to the community. Although village officials are currently using computer media to provide data processing and population management services for their communities, they are still not utilizing it properly. The design of a web-based village administration service information system is a solution to the problem. This application allows the integration of village administration service information into the system through the use of the waterfall method in four stages: requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and system testing. One of the features of this administrative service application is the submission of letters by citizens, uploading of administrative letters submitted by citizens, employee registration, and citizen registration are features that can be accessed by the administration. With this application, the community and village staff gain additional benefits and value. This application is different from the previous service system it still uses manual methods to optimize the administration and processing of population data at the village office. It also makes it possible to present accurate population data and reports

Abstract

implemented and evaluated the edge detection method using the Sobel Operator, which calculates the gradient of image intensity through two convoluted kernels for horizontal (Gx) and vertical directions. (Gy). The magnitudo gradient is obtained from the combination of both such directional gradients to represent the edge force on each pixel. The main steps include image pre-processing, the application of the Sobel kernel, the calculation of magnitudo gradients, and the filtering of results to extract significant edges. The results show that the Sobel Operator is effective in highlighting intensity differences that indicate the boundary of the object, although it is sensitive to noise and less accurate for fine edges. Despite its limitations, this method is simple to implement and useful as an initial step in image processing applications such as segmentation, pattern identification, and object shape analysis.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan aparat desa serta masyarakat di Desa Sei Limbat, Kabupaten Langkat, mengenai penggunaan Sistem Aplikasi Administrasi Desa Berbasis Web (SI-BANDID). Di era digital saat ini, pengelolaan administrasi desa yang efektif dan efisien sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan pelayanan publik. Melalui sosialisasi ini, kami memperkenalkan fitur-fitur SIBANDID yang dirancang untuk mempermudah pengelolaan data administrasi, pengarsipan dokumen, serta penyampaian laporan kepada pemerintah daerah. Sosialisasi dilakukan melalui metode presentasi, diskusi, dan praktik langsung. Partisipan terdiri dari perangkat desa, tokoh masyarakat, dan warga setempat yang berperan aktif dalam pengembangan desa. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta antusias dalam mempelajari sistem ini, serta menyadari pentingnya digitalisasi dalam proses administrasi desa. Selain itu, terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan tentang manfaat penggunaan teknologi informasi dalam mendukung transparansi dan akuntabilitas pemerintahan desa. Dengan adanya SI-BANDID, diharapkan pengelolaan administrasi di Desa Sei Limbat dapat berjalan lebih efektif, serta mampu meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi langkah awal dalam penerapan teknologi informasi yang lebih luas di desa-desa lain, mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan, dan memberdayakan masyarakat melalui inovasi digital.

Abstract

Pelatihan sains dan sosial memegang peran penting dalam mempersiapkan individu dan komunitas untuk menghadapi tantangan global yang semakin kompleks. Di era globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi yang pesat, sinergi antara sains dan sosial diperlukan untuk menciptakan solusi inovatif yang berkelanjutan. Program pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman multidisiplin, membangun keterampilan analitis dan kritis, serta memperkuat kerja sama lintas bidang dalam menghadapi isu-isu global seperti perubahan iklim, ketimpangan sosial, dan krisis kesehatan. Dengan pendekatan interdisipliner, pelatihan ini berfokus pada pemberdayaan peserta dalam memahami dinamika global secara holistik. Peserta akan dilatih untuk menganalisis dan merumuskan kebijakan serta strategi yang responsif terhadap tantangan global dengan mempertimbangkan perspektif ilmiah dan sosial. Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi telah mempermudah pertukaran citra digital, termasuk format bitmap seperti BMP dan PNG. Namun, format citra ini tidak memiliki fitur keamanan bawaan, sehingga rentan terhadap akses tidak sah. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, algoritma stream cipher ChaCha20 dieksplorasi sebagai solusi alternatif yang ringan dan efisien dalam mengamankan citra bitmap. ChaCha20 bekerja dengan menghasilkan keystream dari blok initial state berukuran 512-bit melalui operasi quarterround, yang memungkinkan enkripsi dan dekripsi data secara cepat tanpa mengorbankan keamanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ChaCha20 efektif dalam mengamankan citra, terbukti dari perbedaan mencolok antara citra asli dan terenkripsi, yang terdeteksi melalui pengamatan visual dan analisis histogram. Dari 20 citra yang didekripsi, 18 di antaranya identik dengan citra asli, sedangkan dua lainnya mengalami perubahan ukuran berkas dan warna piksel yang tidak kasat mata, yang disebabkan oleh perbedaan interpretasi codec OpenCV. Ukuran berkas lebih memengaruhi waktu pemrosesan dibandingkan formatnya, dan analisis kinerja enkripsi-dekripsi menunjukkan perbedaan waktu yang minimal pada sebagian besar sampel ChaCha20, mengindikasikan stabilitas performa algoritma ini. Setiap ciphertext mengalami peningkatan ukuran 12 byte untuk penyimpanan nonce di akhir berkas. Selain itu, format PNG mengalami peningkatan ukuran file hingga 2.704%, menunjukkan adanya inefisiensi dalam kompresi data terenkripsi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian lanjutan disarankan untuk melakukan pengoptimalan & efisiensi kinerja sistem serta menambah dukungan format JPG dan GIF, agar memberikan manfaat yang lebih luas dalam pengamanan file citra. Penambahan ini akan meningkatkan penerapan algoritma pada berbagai jenis file citra yang umum di industri.
