Abstract

This study aims to describe how the Head of Madrasah performs the dimensions of transformational leadership through the Quran learning program to improve competitiveness in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Islamiyah Ngoro Jombang. This research used the field and case study qualitative methods. The research results show that this leadership dimension includes the following: (1) idealized influence: socializing the vision, mission, and goals of Quranic learning consistently; (2) inspirational motivation: inspiring and motivating the performance of educators to consistently maintain the quality of Quranic learning; (3) intellectual stimulation: understanding internal weaknesses and external threats from various perspectives to find solutions; and (4) individualized consideration: receiving suggestions, criticisms, and complaints about the Quranic learning process and having direct dialogue with educators and parents. Implementing transformational leadership in madrasah, especially in Quranic learning, can improve the competitiveness of educational institutions. These transformational leadership attitudes make a significant contribution to developing Islamic educational institutions and increasing their competitiveness.

Abstract

الموارد البشرية هي العنصر الرئيسي في أي منظمة، بما في ذلك في عالم المدارس الداخلية الإسلامية. لذلك، يجب تطوير الموارد البشرية بحيث تستمر جودة الموارد البشرية في التحسن من أجل استدامة المؤسسة. تمت كتابة هذا المقال بهدف معرفة عملية تنفيذ تنمية الموارد البشرية في المدارس الداخلية الإسلامية وأهمية تنمية الموارد البشرية للمدارس الداخلية الإسلامية. كان المنهج في هذه الدراسة نوعيًا مع تصميم دراسة حالة، وتحديداً في معهد الكمال الإسلامي العصري بليتار، وتم جمع البيانات عن طريق المقابلة، والملاحظة، وتقنيات التوثيق. بناءً على تحليل البيانات، تم العثور على العديد من النتائج، بما في ذلك: 1) تم تنفيذ تنمية الموارد البشرية في معهد تطوير اللغات الأجنبية من خلال تدريب وتدريب معلمي اللغة الذين تم إعطاؤهم مباشرة من قبل الرئيس أو المتحدثين الأكفاء المدعوين للإشراف على دورة دروس اللغة، تم توفير مجموعة whatsapp التي كانت بمثابة مجلة تعليمية. 2) يعد هذا التطوير مهمًا لتحسين جودة المعلمين الذين سيقومون بتدريس اللغات للطلاب وللحفاظ على اللغات الأجنبية كبرنامج هوية مؤسسي يمكنه إظهار صورة إيجابية للمدارس الداخلية الإسلامية من خلال المخرجات التي تنتجها.

Abstract

Changes in times move so fast, all lines of life are required to be able to move with the flow of time. Change demands that all lines of life, including the educational space, can answer the complexity of the problems that arise from the effects of change. This paper focuses on discussing the definition of transformational leadership in Islamic educational institutions, and the implementation of transformational leadership in Islamic educational institutions. the method used is to use a literature review, by taking an inventory of the literature that has the same data needed, and then an analysis is carried out by correlating several educational institutions that are the focus of case analysis. The results of these six studies show that Transformational Leadership is implemented in Islamic education institutions, both in Islamic boarding schools and madrasas, and provides significant results in efforts to improve the quality of education. Implementation efforts carried out in five educational institutions have the same pattern, it is proven that Islamic educational institutions that implement leadership actualize the four main dimensions of transformational leadership. This has been proven to have been carried out at MI Maarif NU Pageruji, the heads of MTsN throughout the city of Kediri, MTsN 2 Medan, MTsN South Jakarta, and MI Maarif Depok Sleman. While one leadership has a different characteristic, namely the transformational leadership of the kyai in the pesantren, this is different from the other five institutions, because the Kyai in the pesantren has an inherent charisma, which the other five leaderships do not have.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pendidikan informal, formal, dan nonformal di Indonesia melalui pendekatan kajian kepustakaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis literatur dari buku, artikel, jurnal ilmiah, dan dokumen terkait lainnya. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif, dengan fokus pada analisis data yang telah ada sebelumnya dalam bentuk artikel dan dokumentasi lainnya.Pendidikan, yang berasal dari kata "to educate," mencakup segala kegiatan dan perbuatan yang terkait dengan fenomena pendidikan. Ini melibatkan transfer pengetahuan, pengalaman, dan keterampilan dari generasi sebelumnya kepada generasi berikutnya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pengetahuan jasmani dan rohani. Pendidikan memiliki tiga jalur lembaga pendidikan, yaitu informal, formal, dan nonformal.Pendidikan informal adalah pembelajaran yang terjadi secara tidak disengaja dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, seperti dalam keluarga, pekerjaan, organisasi, atau interaksi sosial sejak lahir hingga akhir hayat. Pendidikan formal adalah jalur pendidikan yang terstruktur dan berjenjang, sedangkan pendidikan nonformal adalah aktivitas pendidikan di luar sistem sekolah yang terorganisir, sistematis, dan dilakukan secara mandiri untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan khusus.Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang pendidikan informal, formal, dan nonformal di Indonesia, serta relevansinya dalam konteks pendidikan nasional. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan kepada pemerintah, lembaga pendidikan, dan masyarakat dalam mengembangkan kebijakan dan praktik pendidikan

Abstract

Abstract, This research aims to describe the characteristics of transformational leadership in the Islamic boarding school environment. Islamic boarding schools are educational institutions that are undergoing a transformation from traditional education to modern education. Transformational leadership in Islamic boarding schools focuses on the charismatic and affective elements of leadership. Islamic boarding school leaders who adopt transformational leadership usually have the characteristics of being visionary, inspiring, motivating, empowering, and promoting self-acceptance. They also create an inclusive culture based on Islamic values ​​that encourages loyalty, honesty, responsibility, example, justice and cooperation. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively using techniques such as data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that transformational leaders in the Islamic boarding school environment have a vision that provides direction and meaning to their followers. They are able to communicate high expectations to followers and understand the needs of subordinates and empower them. In conclusion, transformational leadership in the Islamic boarding school environment is an effective leadership model in encouraging the growth and development of students. Transformational leaders create a positive and productive learning environment, building the next generation who are skilled, independent, and play an active role in society. It is hoped that the application of transformational leadership characteristics can increase the competitiveness of Islamic boarding schools and the overall quality of Islamic boarding school education. Abstract

Metode pengawasan yang tegas dapat meningkatkan mutu pengajaran guru. Supervisor harus memahami perbedaan individu guru dan menentukan metode supervisi yang tepat. Tahapan supervisi direktif meliputi memberikan arahan, menjelaskan dengan jelas, mengawasi, mengevaluasi, dan memberikan bantuan yang sesuai. Tantangan penerapan pendekatan supervisi yang direktif adalah kurangnya pemahaman para guru tentang pentingnya supervisi, keterbatasan waktu dan area supervisi, serta perbedaan individual guru. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan atau library research untuk menemukan dan mengkaji tulisan-tulisan serta literatur-literatur yang berkaitan dengan fokus permasalahan yang sedang diperiksa. Hasil dan pembahasan penelitian yaitu Metode pengawasan yang tegas dapat meningkatkan mutu pengajaran guru. Supervisor harus memahami perbedaan individu guru dan menentukan metode supervisi yang tepat. Tahapan supervisi direktif meliputi memberikan arahan, menjelaskan dengan jelas, mengawasi, mengevaluasi, dan memberikan bantuan yang sesuai. Abstract

Leadership of transformasional has a positive relationship with subordinate commitment. Transformational leaders are also able to inspire their subordinates to be committed to the vision and mission of the organization's goals, as well as creating strong emotional bonds between leaders and subordinates. This research is based on the context of Islamic educational institutions which require a transformative leader to be able to keep up with changes in line with the times. Through the library research research method, this research explores the components of transformative leadership in Islamic educational institutions. This research provides insight into the contribution of transformative leadership components in leading an Islamic educational institution that can bring change and give rise to innovation.

Abstract

Education is something that is needed in increasing human resources in a country. One of the institutional organizations having a duty to develop education is an educational institution. An educational institution will be able to advance its institution if it is handled by a professional leader. A leader who becomes the pinnacle of an organization or institution can never be separated from leadership and management. Many people think that leadership and management are the same thing. In fact, have different roles. Therefore, it is necessary to study leadership and management, so that the difference between them is clear. The purpose of this study is to define between leadership and managerial in Islamic educational institutions. The method used in this research is library research. Data and data sources come from the study of books, journals, websites, and other relevant documents and can be used as references in this study. The data analysis in this research is descriptive analysis and content analysis. The result of this research is that leadership is an effort to direct, motivate, guide, and overcome problems in the process of achieving organizational goals together. Management is the process of utilizing the resources owned by the organization to achieve the goals carried out through planning, organizing, directing and controlling. Leaders and managers are different things even though they both play an important role in achieving organizational goals. The leader as a determinant of the vision and mission in the organization, determines the direction and reviews the general picture. Managers carry out the vision and mission, direction, goals and are committed to the organization, then develop plans and agendas as well as appropriate resources to realize the vision and mission of the organization.

Abstract

Transformational leadership and work culture are two important elements in organizations that are interrelated and have a significant influence on organizational performance and success. The purpose of this research is to determine studies on transformative leadership and work culture. This research is a type of literature review research. The literature review shows that there is a positive relationship between transformational leadership and work culture. Transformational leaders can foster a positive work culture by encouraging innovation, collaboration and continuous learning. A positive work culture, in turn, can increase employee motivation and performance. This research provides information and explains that a transformative leadership and work culture that is able to understand and respect subordinates based on subordinates' needs and pay attention to the desire for achievement will have an impact on educational institutions, both schools and madrasa.

Abstract

This article offers clinical supervision for teachers in order to tackle some problems while teaching and to anticipate some possible problems that may appear. This professional assistance is done by a supervisor to teachers in order to fill in the gap between the real teaching behaviors and the ideal teaching behaviors. This can be done individually and in group. The cycles of the clinical supervision are of three stages: early meeting, classroom observation, and feedback provision.
