Abstract

Bidik Misi "(BM) is an extraordinary scholarship provided by the Government of Indonesia with two criteria main: economic needs and academic performance, and added a test Islamic Education at private universities. Since its introduction in 2010, the number of candidates has increased every year, causing difficulties in choosing the most qualified candidates. This study aims to find the effectiveness of the recruitment of participants in scholarship programs for the poor and how to develop the quality of educational resources in Indonesia. Although they have requirements that are not the same as regular students in participating in the admission process at universities, this study shows that private universities can develop the quality of human resources through the BM program.

Abstract

Teachers are professional educators with the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, evaluating, and evaluating students. So that it is expected to be able to produce graduates who are intelligent, qualified, competitive, noble and have noble character. The era of globalization requires high-quality teachers and is ready to compete, both at national, regional and international levels. The study aims to determine the criteria for outstanding teacher competitions in elementary schools by using a multi-site approach through schools that get national-level exceptional teachers in 2017 and 2018 in West Java, Banten and DKI Jakarta. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, documentation and observation, while data analysis techniques are used through data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results of the study stated that the selection of outstanding elementary school teachers was intended to increase motivation, dedication, loyalty and professionalism of teachers who were expected to have a positive effect on improving performance and achievement. Criteria for selecting outstanding teachers consist of portfolio assessment, learning videos and teacher performance assessments, written tests consisting of teacher competencies and educational insights, scientific papers and scientific writing presentations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the increase in student learning activities and outcomes through the use of the constructivism-based Quizizz application in social studies subjects on Local Wisdom material at SMPN 7 Bima City. The research used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of 25 students in class IX-A. Before the use of Quizizz, the average student pretest score was 52, and increased to 80 on the posttest after learning using Quizizz, showing a significant increase in learning outcomes. In addition, student learning activities also increased, shown through indicators of learning independence, motivation and enthusiasm, cooperation between students, and active participation in taking quizzes. The interactive and gamification features in Quizizz create an interesting and competitive learning atmosphere, encouraging students' active involvement and building their understanding independently. Key constraints such as limited internet access and devices were overcome through training, use of computer labs, and infrastructure improvements. Overall, Quizizz proved to be an effective learning medium in supporting technology-based learning.

Abstract

One element in educational process, that often becomes a concern is student learning motivation. This motivation includes internal and external drives that influence students' interests and abilities to be actively involved in the learning process. This study aims to investigate the learning motivation of 5th grade elementary school students in mathematics learning using Rasch model-based analysis. This study is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional design, involving 79 students as research subjects. Data were collected through a questionnaire designed to measure six main indicators of learning motivation, namely intrinsic value, achievement value, self-regulation, self-efficacy, utility value, and test anxiety. The results of the analysis showed that students' learning motivation was in the high category overall, with the Self-Efficacy (SE) indicator recording the highest score of 78%, followed by Utility Value (UV) of 73.5%. The self-regulation (SR) indicator showed a lower but still significant score of 70%. Rasch analysis showed that the questionnaire had a good level of reliability of 0.86 for items and 0.83 for respondents, as well as validity that was in accordance with the measurement model. These findings emphasize the importance of increasing students' self-confidence and supporting self-management in mathematics learning to improve learning motivation. The implications of these findings highlight the need to develop learning strategies that can strengthen students' self-confidence and reduce their anxiety during exams.

Abstract

Di era saat ini, pemanfaatan media digital dan kecerdasan buatan (AI) sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan  literasi digital guru di SDN Cibalung 02 melalui workshop yang meliputi pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi digital seperti Duolingo, Canva, Wordwall, Sketch Metademolab, dan Padlet. Metodologi lokakarya satu hari ini meliputi ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik langsung. Hal ini memungkinkan para guru untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mereka dalam menggunakan teknologi digital dan memungkinkan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif. Workshop ini bertujuan untuk berkontribusi secara efektif dalam menutup kesenjangan keterampilan di kalangan guru, khususnya di  pedesaan, dan  meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di SDN Cibalung 02.

Abstract

This study aims to design a conceptual model of a reward and punishment system based on field data as a reference to improve teacher performance at MTs Ar-Rahmah Bogor. The research employed a qualitative exploratory approach, using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that the implementation of reward and punishment at MTs Ar-Rahmah is still informal, incidental, and lacks structured performance indicators or written procedures. Rewards are given symbolically without clear evaluation criteria, while punishment s are limited to verbal warnings without standard operating procedures or structured coaching programs. Based on a SWOT analysis, the researchers formulated a conceptual model consisting of five key components: teacher performance indicators, regular evaluations, forms of reward, stages of punishment , and documentation and SOPs. This model is expected to serve as a reference for developing a more structured and sustainable teacher performance management system. The study recommends a limited-scale pilot implementation, involving teachers in the formulation of indicators and evaluations, and conducting regular adaptive monitoring.

Abstract

The community empowerment program in Kampung Adat Ciptarasa, Sukabumi Regency, was implemented through an online-based approach as a form of community service to support the development of household industries. The primary problems identified among the partners included weak institutional governance, low product quality and production capacity, limited market access, and inadequate knowledge of business bookkeeping. The program engaged 20 partners who demonstrated willingness and commitment to participate as assisted partners. The implementation methods consisted of training and mentoring conducted both in person and online, alongside simulations and hands-on practice. The training materials covered: (1) strengthening institutional governance and business management; (2) improving product quality and production capacity; (3) developing business and digital marketing strategies; and (4) practicing simple bookkeeping for household industry actors. The results indicated an improvement in partners’ knowledge and skills in managing their businesses, utilizing digital marketing technology, and keeping financial records in a more organized manner. This program motivated household industry actors to seize market opportunities and optimize local potential. In conclusion, online-based empowerment proved effective in fostering the economic independence of the community, while serving as a concrete implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education by Universitas Djuanda, with direct benefits for the assisted partners’ welfare.

Abstract

Pengelolaan sumber daya manusia dalam lingkungan pendidikan menjadi faktor kunci dalam menciptakan iklim kerja yang produktif dan harmonis. SDIT Al-Furqon Cisarua-Bogor sebagai sekolah Islam terpadu menekankan pentingnya pemahaman dan penerapan hak, kewajiban, serta tanggung jawab guru dan tenaga kependidikan, yang diiringi dengan penerapan sistem reward and punishment. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana ketiga aspek tersebut diterapkan di SDIT Al-Furqon serta bagaimana mekanisme penghargaan dan sanksi diberlakukan dalam mendukung kinerja dan kedisiplinan kerja. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hak pegawai, seperti gaji, tunjangan, dan pelatihan, telah diberikan secara adil dan proporsional. Kewajiban dijalankan dengan disiplin melalui kejelasan peran dan evaluasi berkala, sementara tanggung jawab tercermin dalam sikap profesional dan partisipatif guru. Sistem reward yang ada mampu memberikan dorongan kerja meskipun belum terstruktur secara formal, sedangkan punishment diterapkan secara restoratif, berbasis kesepakatan, dan menjaga martabat individu. Temuan ini mencerminkan integrasi nilai-nilai manajemen modern dan prinsip etika Islami dalam pengelolaan sumber daya manusia di lingkungan pendidikan Islam terpadu.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze elementary school teachers' perceptions of the role of school committees in curriculum implementation as an effort to improve educational quality. The background to this research stems from the challenges of uneven distribution of educational quality in Indonesia, despite the implementation of various policies. This study employed a qualitative approach with thematic analysis based on the Braun & Clarke model. Thirty-five teachers participated in the study, with data collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using NVivo 12 software. The findings suggest that school committees play a crucial role in channeling parental aspirations, enhancing transparency and accountability in budget management, and fostering effective communication between schools and the community. However, obstacles exist, such as differing visions, weak coordination, low public literacy regarding the committee's role, and a non-participatory formation process. Nevertheless, the committees have proven to support the implementation of school programs and expand educational social networks. This study's original contribution lies in emphasizing teacher voice as a key indicator in assessing the effectiveness of participatory governance. These findings offer strategic implications for enhancing collaboration among schools, parents, and the community in improving the quality of elementary education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mensintesis penerapan metode pembelajaran inovatif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah dasar. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur, kajian ini menelaah artikel jurnal terakreditasi dan publikasi akademik periode 2021–2025 yang berfokus pada penerapan inquiry-based learning (IBL). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa IBL secara konsisten meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, pemahaman konsep, dan partisipasi aktif peserta didik. Melalui keterlibatan langsung dalam kegiatan eksplorasi, bertanya, dan pemecahan masalah, IBL tidak hanya memperbaiki hasil belajar tetapi juga membentuk kemandirian, kreativitas, dan keterampilan kolaboratif. Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator yang merancang lingkungan belajar interaktif dan membimbing proses inkuiri peserta didik. Temuan ini menegaskan potensi metode pembelajaran inovatif yang dirancang dengan baik untuk memperkuat kualitas pembelajaran abad ke-21. Studi ini merekomendasikan pendidik sekolah dasar untuk mengintegrasikan strategi IBL yang terstruktur, didukung instrumen asesmen yang tepat, serta pemanfaatan sumber daya digital guna memaksimalkan dampak pembelajaran.
