Abstract

Mining activities are human activities that utilize natural resources to produce products used in everyday life. Mining activities trigger the damage that occurs, ranging from changes in topography and loss of vegetation cover. Environmental damage caused by mining activities has now become an international issue because of the widely reported regional and global assessments of various mining commodities. However, only a few studies have published environmental damage on a detailed and local scale. The research was designed to determine the environmental damage that occurred in Gunung Sarik Village, Kuranji Sub-district with a quantitative descriptive method in the field. The mining commodity is clay which is used as a raw material for bricks as well as a mixture for making cement. Parameters observed included abiotic, biotic, and cultural aspects. To determine the level of damage to the abiotic and biotic aspects, the grading method is used, so that the damage that occurs is included in the moderate damage category. This is caused by errors in mining procedures that do not pay attention to ecological aspects. Changes in the landscape, the slope of the slopes, the height of the excavation cliffs, and the absence of vegetation cause physical damage that triggers landslides. Economically, there was no negative impact on society. A lack of ecological understanding underlies public ignorance about the environmental damage caused by mining activities. The results of the analysis of the level of environmental damage in Gunung Sarik Village, a strategy for managing environmental damage due to mining was prepared using SWOT analysis.

Abstract

In recent years, Unlicensed Gold Mining (PETI) has been rampant in Indonesia. Although the activity of searching for precious metals provides many benefits, it also has an impact on damage to the ecosystem and the environment. This provides its own dynamics by policy makers, entrepreneurs and regions as mining loci. Therefore, awareness and management as well as appropriate policies and laws are needed. This study aims to determine the relationship and impact arising from the Upstream Unlicensed Gold Mining (PETI) on fish catches at TPI Sasak which is the downstream part. This research was conducted in Muaro Kiawai, West Pasaman Regency in 2022. The research method was carried out using a qualitative approach with analytical techniques using Environmental Sustainable Analysis (ESA). The results showed that there was a relationship and the impact of PETI on water quality and the effect of weather on fish catches. In conclusion, it can be seen that PETI will affect the ecosystem and environment around mining

Abstract

Children in junior high school benefit significantly from participating in various sports, particularly those geared toward female students. Many people achieve a healthy level of physical activity, which is affected by multiple factors, including nutritional status and those connected to dietary factors. Because the body relies on certain foods as sources of energy, the construction of body cells, the production of biocatalysts, and the metabolism of food are all required to follow the body. This study focused on the experiences of female students at SMP Kepulauan Meranti Regency when they were engaged in the process of acquiring sports-related knowledge. Through the use of the correlational research approach, this study aims to establish whether there is a connection between two or more variables. According to the findings, it was determined that the level of physical activity engaged by some of the female students at this institution is still inadequate or not very excellent. This can be seen mainly from their appearance and attitude, particularly in following and doing the learning materials of the health assessor, where it seems that female students are lazy in doing sports activities, get tired quickly, and lack enthusiasm. Some of them have pale faces, indicating that they are unhealthy.

Abstract

In addition to being a method of self-defense, the martial art known as Pencak Silat is also used as a kind of competition. In the sport of Pencak Silat, competitors choose between two different categories: the sparring category and the TGR category (Single Moves, Double Moves, Team Moves). This TGR category represents a conventional art of movement that is now up for debate. In this TGR category, the assessment criteria include memorization of motion, steadiness, passion, and stamina. Athletes and judges must learn every movement and sequence, and even the jury referee must grasp the right motions in line with the norms of movement of the TGR move. Athletes and judges are required to memorize every movement and sequence. This is done to assist athletes, coaches, referees, and judges comprehend the standard rules of motion for single moves. This research is a research development in the field of martial arts. It is anticipated that this product will also be required as a medium for demonstration purposes while upgrading referees and martial arts instructors. The research method known as research and development (R&D) is utilized. The research location is in the IPSI secretariat in Padang City, which can be found at GOR H. Agus Salim. The research stage begins with decommissioning, until the development of the first phase of research, then continues with the second phase of research, namely dissemination, which begins with packaging into the form of CDs and spreading to martial arts universities in the city of Padang through community service activities.

Abstract

Land use for agriculture has increased every year. As a result of the increased need for agricultural land causing degradation of agricultural land. The purpose of this study was to conduct structured directives for agricultural land use. To determine the direction of structuring the use of agricultural land using a geographic information system approach. The indicator used in determining the arrangement of sustainable agricultural land use is; slope, soil type, rainfall, geology, and land use. Furthermore, to determine the direction of policy on the use of agricultural land using the ISM approach. The results of the land structuring analysis of the slopes of Mount Marapi show that around 35 percent of agricultural land cannot be utilized for cultivation areas. Actual conditions, around 20 percent of the area has been used for farm land. herefore, as a policy direction for sustainable land use the government must conduct land use counseling in accordance with the carrying capacity of the land.

Abstract

The causes of global warming are directly related to the greenhouse effect. If the amount of greenhouse gases increases in the atmosphere, the effect of global warming will be even more significant. Since the industrial revolution, greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, and other harmful gases have increased in the atmosphere so that their concentration has increased due to human activity. Global warming is thought to have caused system changes to ecosystems on earth, among others; extreme climate change, melting ice so that sea levels rise, and changes in the amount and pattern of precipitation. The existence of system changes in this ecosystem has had an impact on life on earth such as affecting agricultural products, the loss of glaciers and the extinction of various types of animals. In the form of traditional culture, local wisdom gives birth to ethics and norms of community life in utilizing natural resources and the environment. As long as the community still respects traditional cultures that have ethical and moral values towards their natural environment, conservation of natural resources and the environment is an absolute must.

Abstract

Reducing maternal mortality is one of Indonesia's main targets for improving health. By offering antenatal care services for pregnant women at least four times with the standard 10T during pregnancy, efforts are made to reduce maternal mortality. This kind of research uses a phenomenological approach and is qualitative in nature. The purpose of this study is to obtain, obtain a description, analysis, interpretation of the coverage of antenatal care services. Data were obtained from in-depth interviews with 20 informants consisting of the head of the Puskesmas, Coordinator Midwife, Village Midwife, Cadre and pregnant women. The study findings indicate that although antenatal care services at the Agam District Health Center are covered, the policy reference to Minimum Service Standards has not been met in terms of facilities, labor, or funding. The author suggests expanding the access of pregnant women to health workers through the "Ojol for Pregnant Women" activity, because it is concluded that the coverage of antenatal care services at the Agam District Health Center has not reached the Minimum Service Standards and is expected to improve services, especially visits to pregnant women, health education, and improvement of health services. community participation. This activity is in the form of transportation prepared by the community, either two-wheeled or four-wheeled vehicles that are ready to pick up pregnant women to health facilities
