Abstract

Purpose: This research examines the effect of Sharia financial literacy, trust, and transparency on customer risk perception of iB Mudharabah deposit products at PT Bank Sumut KCPSy Hamparan Perak. Design/Methodology/Approach: A quantitative cross-sectional approach was applied using questionnaires distributed to 100 iB Mudharabah deposit customers selected through purposive sampling. Data were measured using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using SEM-PLS, including outer and inner model testing. Findings: Sharia financial literacy, trust, and transparency have a positive and significant effect on customer risk perception. The adjusted R-square value of 0.670 indicates that 67% of the variation in risk perception is explained by these variables. Practical Implications: The findings suggest that customer-based risk mitigation requires strengthening Sharia financial literacy, enhancing trust, and ensuring transparency in mudharabah deposit products. Originality/Value: This research contributes to Sharia banking literature by highlighting customer risk perception in regional Sharia banks and emphasizing behavioral and relational factors in mudharabah-based risk management.

Abstract

Wave concepts in physics are inherently abstract and often lead to misconceptions, especially when virtual laboratory activities are implemented without structured classroom management and guided reflection. Additionally, virtual science learning is frequently focused mainly on cognitive outcomes, while character development, particularly integrity in scientific practice, receives less systematic attention. This study addressed this gap by developing and evaluating a classroom management guide for Virtual Science Labs (PhET Simulations) based on the Experiential Learning Cycle (ELC) and integrated with prophetic values to enhance university students’ understanding of wave phenomena while fostering character development. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), the study involved 14 fifth-semester students from the Physics Education Study Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. HAMKA in the 2024–2025 academic year. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, wave conceptual understanding tests (pre-test and post-test), and prophetic character observation sheets. Expert validation indicated that the guide was highly feasible, with a mean score of 3.67 (87.5%) for content validation and 3.33 (83.3%) for media validation. Effectiveness results showed significant improvement in conceptual understanding, with scores increasing from 42.50 (pre-test) to 85.40 (post-test) and an N-gain of 0.75 (high category). Observations also suggested successful enactment of prophetic values during PhET-based practicums, particularly Sidiq (90%) and Amanah (85%), reflected in honest data recording and responsible task completion. The novelty of this study lies in the systematic integration of ELC-based classroom management, interactive PhET visualization, and the operationalization of prophetic values within a single instructional product. Overall, the developed model is feasible and effective for supporting both conceptual learning and character development focused on integrity in wave instruction, offering a comprehensive contribution to higher-education physics education.

Abstract

This study seeks to enhance the quality of discipleship in churches based in Nias by contrasting Cyril of Jerusalem's theological anthropology with Nias' cultural conceptions of body and soul, with a particular emphasis on noso. Using a qualitative literature review, thematic content analysis, and comparative methods from theology, religious studies, anthropology, and missiology, the study identified both similarities and differences between Nias’ culture and Cyril’s theological anthropology. Cyril's framework, characterized by its clarity and bipartite structure, places significant emphasis on the concept of the imago Dei, bodily resurrection, and an eternal soul. In contrast, Nias tradition teaches a complex anthropology comprising multiple elements and a cyclical eschatology. The study concluded that Cyril's theological anthropology exerts a positive influence on Nias Christian discipleship by fortifying Nias spiritual intuitions and providing a more lucid theological framework. Furthermore, it serves as a conduit between Christian theology and Nias traditions, offering a foundation for more effective and contextually sensitive discipleship. This integration of traditional values with universal Christian teachings results in a more profound and culturally relevant faith, and ultimately guides practical discipleship strategies in Nias, thereby promoting both qualitative and quantitative church growth.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

The development of an Islamic education program based on information technology is a response to the challenges of the digital era that demands a more adaptive and innovative transformation of the learning system. Islamic education as an integral part of the national education system has an urgency to adopt information technology in order to be able to provide relevant and competitive education services in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. This study aims to examine the strategy, implementation, and impact of information technology integration in the development of Islamic education programs. The research method used is a qualitative approach with literature studies and observations of good practices in several Islamic education units. Data were collected through documentation and review of national education policies related to the digitalization of education. The analysis was carried out descriptively-analystically to understand the integration patterns and challenges faced in the development of IT-based Islamic education programs. The results of the study show that the use of the Learning Management System (LMS), digital learning applications, and web-based interactive media has increased student engagement in learning and strengthened the achievement of spiritual, social, and academic competencies. The development of Islamic content in multimedia format also enriches the learning experience of students in a contextual and enjoyable way. However, several challenges are still encountered, such as limited digital infrastructure, educator competence in utilizing IT, and resistance to changes in traditional teaching methods. To overcome this, supporting policies, ongoing training for teachers, and strengthening collaboration between technology developers, educational institutions, and other stakeholders are needed. Thus, the development of information technology-based Islamic education programs must be designed systematically by considering pedagogical, technological, and Islamic values. This development model is expected to be a reference in building an inclusive, dynamic, and future-oriented Islamic education ecosystem.
