Abstract

Natural resource management in Indonesia is a complex phenomenon characterized by the state's efforts to drive economic growth while simultaneously protecting the rights of indigenous legal communities that have long preserved environmental balance. The constitutional basis provided by Articles 33 and 18B of the 1945 Constitution affirms the state's authority to optimize natural wealth for the prosperity of the people, while accommodating local autonomy and recognizing customary rights. This analysis was conducted using a normative legal approach combined with qualitative and anthropological perspectives to examine legal documents ranging from Law No. 5 of 1960, Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 23 of 1997, and Law No. 32 of 2009, to the recent updates through Law No. 32 of 2024, Law No. 17 of 2019, Law No. 3 of 2020, and Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 1 of 2014, in addition to reviewing the Draft Law on Indigenous Legal Communities (RUU MHA). The evaluation results reveal a fundamental difference between the national regulatory framework and the implementation of customary legal norms, which leads to inconsistent natural resource management practices and uneven distribution of benefits. These findings underscore the importance of reformulating regulations through the active involvement of various stakeholders and the thorough integration of indigenous legal communities' roles at every stage of policy formulation to create a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable natural resource governance.

Abstract

Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) including ERP, CRM, BI/BA, and DSS play critical roles in enhancing firm performance. However, their financial impacts vary across contexts, system types, and implementation designs. This study aims to systematically compare the financial effects of these systems using subgroup meta analysis, providing clarity on their differential contributions. A total of 120 studies were analyzed, focusing on three core financial outcomes: return on assets (ROA), return on sales (ROS), and revenue growth. Studies were selected from major IS meta analyses and empirical sources. Effect sizes were standardized using Fisher’s z, Hedges’ g, and log ratio transformations. A random effects model was applied, and subgroup analyses were conducted based on IS type and moderator variables including industry, region, firm size, and study design. CRM systems yielded the highest effect sizes (Cohen’s d = 0.67–0.75), especially in service sectors and developed markets. ERP systems showed moderate but consistent impact (d ≈ 0.54) through operational efficiency, while BI/BA (d ≈ 0.60) facilitated strategic planning. DSS contributed modestly (d ≈ 0.50). Moderator analysis revealed that larger firms and developed economies benefit more significantly from IS investments. Publication bias tests indicated some overestimation in cross sectional studies. These findings support the Resource Based View and complementary assets theory: IS value depends on integration with organizational capabilities. EIS types yield distinct financial benefits. CRM is optimal for rapid revenue and retention gains; ERP for internal efficiency; and BI for long term insights. Strategic alignment and contextual readiness determine ROI. The study offers theoretical and practical guidance for evidence based IS investment.

Abstract

The growing prevalence of remote and hybrid work models has transformed how organizations coordinate tasks and collaborate across functional units. This study investigates whether IT media fit moderates the relationship between remote work intensity and cross unit collaboration. Drawing on Media Synchronicity Theory (MST), the research posits that communication media must align with task requirements particularly synchronicity needs to enhance collaboration outcomes. A quasi experimental, longitudinal design was used, analyzing weekly team level data from digital trace logs (Slack, Microsoft Teams) and surveys assessing remote work intensity and IT media alignment. The study employed Generalized Linear Mixed Models (GLMM) with interaction terms to evaluate the moderating effect of IT media fit. Key findings indicate that remote work alone does not significantly improve collaboration metrics such as network centrality or cross functional reply rates. However, in conditions of high IT media fit, remote work intensity positively correlates with more robust cross unit collaboration. These results were robust across multiple model specifications and validated through lagged temporal analysis, bias checks, and alternative statistical techniques. This research extends MST by incorporating the emotional and contextual dimensions of digital communication tools and emphasizing the need for tool task synchronicity in remote settings. The study provides actionable recommendations for organizations, including aligning communication tools with specific task types, training teams in digital collaboration practices, and designing adaptive communication policies. As digital collaboration becomes central to modern organizational life, the strategic fit between media and task emerges as a vital determinant of remote work effectiveness.

Abstract

Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) has transformed modern software development, enabling faster, more reliable delivery cycles. This article investigates the impact of CI/CD on software delivery speed and stability through a meta analytical review of benchmark studies and industry metrics, with a focus on the DORA framework’s Four Key Metrics: Deployment Frequency, Lead Time for Changes, Change Failure Rate (CFR), and Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR). Utilizing data from DORA, CircleCI, GitLab, and other industry reports, the study applies systematic methods to compare elite and non elite performance bands. Results indicate that mature CI/CD implementation significantly enhances deployment frequency and reduces lead times, while simultaneously improving system stability through lower CFR and faster recovery times. Elite performers exemplify how frequent, stable deployments can be achieved through automation, observability, and standardized tooling. Industry-wide evidence indicates that these principles are broadly applicable across various organizational contexts. Discussion highlights existing barriers to CI/CD adoption, including legacy infrastructure, cultural inertia, and toolchain fragmentation. To address these, the article emphasizes the role of GitOps and platform engineering in streamlining CI/CD operations. Emerging trends such as AI integration, Software Bill of Materials (SBOM), and advanced observability are also identified as future enablers of delivery excellence. In conclusion, CI/CD maturity is strongly correlated with elite performance in software delivery. DORA metrics offer a reliable framework for assessment and continuous improvement. Organizations seeking to scale their DevOps effectiveness must align their practices with these benchmarks while leveraging emerging tools and cultural strategies to sustain delivery excellence.

Abstract

Real-time streaming architectures are redefining the landscape of urban transit analytics by enabling low latency, data driven decision making. This study evaluates and compares the real time data processing capabilities of public transit systems in London, New York, and Singapore. The objective is to determine how architectural choices, data freshness, and machine learning integration influence key performance indicators such as latency, ETA accuracy, and anomaly detection. The methodology involves a multi city case study, where Kafka based pipelines integrated with Apache Flink and Spark were assessed for ingestion, processing, and service delivery. Datasets included GTFS Realtime, SIRI feeds, and contextual APIs (e.g., speed bands and crowd density). Metrics for evaluation included feed latency, mean absolute error (MAE) and root mean square error (RMSE) for ETA, and response times for anomaly detection. The results demonstrate that Singapore’s transit system outperformed its counterparts with the lowest latency (~12s), highest ETA accuracy (MAE = 18s; RMSE = 25s), and superior anomaly detection via multi sensor fusion. London and New York, while technologically robust, faced constraints due to longer feed update intervals and integration complexities. Kafka ML's online learning enhanced model adaptability, significantly reducing ETA prediction errors across dynamic conditions. Furthermore, stress testing revealed Singapore’s architecture as the most resilient under peak load. The study concludes that the effectiveness of real-time urban transit systems depends on harmonizing streaming infrastructure... Singapore’s architecture may serve as a potential reference model for other cities, while recognizing contextual differences in implementation. Singapore’s architecture offers a scalable template for other cities. Ethical considerations, including data governance and passenger privacy, are essential for sustainable implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the dynamics of service pricing among content writers in Palu City from a management accounting perspective. A qualitative approach was employed to gain an in-depth understanding of the social and economic phenomena surrounding the content writing service industry. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with content writing practitioners based in Palu. The findings reveal that pricing decisions are influenced by relational dimensions such as feelings of discomfort or reluctance when dealing with friends, empathy toward clients’ financial conditions, and the general lack of appreciation for creative processes. In addition, work experience plays a central role in shaping value perception and price legitimacy. These findings underscore the significance of relational approaches in understanding pricing structures within the creative service sector and highlight the need to integrate social values into management accounting practices. The absence of standardized pricing leads to high variability in service rates, posing challenges particularly for novice writers in determining fair compensation. From a management accounting standpoint, rational pricing requires an understanding of cost structures, profit margin calculations, and the evaluation of efficiency and competitiveness. The study concludes that implementing cost-based pricing and cost behavior analysis is highly relevant to enhance transparency and fairness in service fee structures. These insights are expected to serve as a foundation for developing more systematic pricing guidelines and promoting greater professionalism within the local creative industry, particularly in Palu City.
